Very bad beer. Thanks for the thanks. 1 star for the nice wooden benches and tables outside.

Unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes for service. Despite several different waitresses and waiters coming by several times, our order wasn't even taken. It's a shame, but we'll eat and drink somewhere else.

I'd been sitting there for almost 45 minutes. No one came over to take our order. One waitress said, "A colleague will be right there," but nothing more. Really disappointing, since I was told it was pretty good there. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of that.

Sunny Miami is amazing! Great energy, service, entertainment...it makes you forget your everyday life!!!

Warning! Don't eat anything here... the only good thing was the beer. The liver dumpling soup was inedible, the sirloin was hard and dry, the baked potato was almost cold and tasteless. The knuckle of pork was also not good. The worst meal we've ever had.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Löwenbräukeller with a group didn't meet our expectations at all. You're literally rushed off the counter so you leave as quickly as possible. The service seemed to be based on the motto: "Be glad you're even being served." The lady in particular was extremely unfriendly and even tried to lecture us about ordering several things at once. Do we now have to conduct a survey in a group of over 30 people before we dare to order? :’-) . When water, beer, and other drinks arrived, they were simply passed from the opposite side of the table, making it impossible to reach them. So, all guests were expected to help the waitresses. No thanks! If you don't want to work in the waiting area, don't bother and instead water plants or clean the soil, but please don't do anything that involves guests. The appetizer was really good, but the other courses followed so quickly that there was hardly any time for a break. Dessert was simply slapped down on several people, even though they weren't even seated. They didn't even ask if they wanted a coffee or something similar. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this city, but I will definitely avoid this one in the future.

Unfortunately, the visit was unsatisfactory. You don't feel welcome here. Hospitality doesn't look like that.

We were a group of 50 people, and honestly, the service was terrible. Unmotivated waiters and the food, well, that's a matter of taste. As a guest, you're practically brushed off, and that doesn't exactly create a welcoming atmosphere...a real shame. With that in mind, cheers!

Cool place and great beer. Real Bavarian experience

A lovely beer garden a little ways out of the hustle of Munich City Centre but easily accessible by public transport. We didn't eat but the food looked good. I would go back but preferred some of the other beer halls/gardens in Munich such as Augustiner Keller or Hofbrauhaus.

Everything is very nice, welcoming and the food is good.

Very nice service, the waitress Yasmina was very friendly, she recommended Wurstle Reindl and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert and it was delicious!

Beautiful beer garden, delicious food, friendly service!

By far the best beer in Munich. The Dunkel is exquisite; you can have several in a row. The atmosphere and decor are incredible. The food is of very high quality. My partner and I sat down, placed our order, and in less than 10 minutes, our dishes were on the table.

It was a great spot on the way to the hotel, so we still had a nightcap on the way home. The roast pork with dumplings was a real treat: two nice slices and a delicious sauce (unfortunately, way too much for a retiree). Unfortunately, they don't offer retiree plates anywhere anymore. And, of course, delicious Löwenbräu.

According to the website, the self-service beer garden is open until 11 p.m. in good weather. Unfortunately, the pub closed at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday (weather permitting) without prior notice. So, unfortunately, we weren't able to have a last round. At 10:30 a.m., the staff sent us away because they were closing. It's a shame, because we were actually celebrating a birthday. We'll go somewhere else next time.

Really fun place with live music and good service. Leans towards the tourist which is A-okay with this tourist. They easily spoke English and very easily accessible via Subway/tram! Great stop for dinner!

The second traditional beer house I visited in the city. We came for an evening beer and tsimboloi. There was also traditional music! The beer was good. Arrived around 3:40 p.m. in the afternoon. The self-service area didn't open until 4:00 p.m. We were more or less ignored in the waitress area. A colleague will be right there, etc. At least 6 or 8 waitresses didn't think it was possible to take an order in 15 minutes. Thank you! Never again.

Incorrect financial handling. On a second visit, I was confronted about not having paid the night before, even though a colleague had come to settle the bill. On the third night, we were simply charged €5 too much.

Ordered the traditional German pork knuckle (17eur) and German sausage (13eur), which was reasonably priced, generous in portion, and mediocre in taste.

Whenever I,m in Munich I visit this beer hall whenever I can.The food is always first class and on Sunday 24th August I was fortunate to have Sertac as my server.He took time to make me feel welcome and ensure I was well looked after.A great choice of feed and outstanding service together with great beer. Well done to Sertac and the beer Keller.

Unfortunately, the food was abysmal. Extremely over-seasoned, and even a day later, I was still terribly thirsty because of the food. A tourist trap, I'd say: go there once and never again.

good food, however the staff added an extra 25 euro to our bill for no reason, check your receipts if you do not speak german as they will over charge you for no reason, shocking and unexpected behaviour in such a central location.

The food is good, but we weren't thrilled with the service. I think it's because it's summer, and the place is always full, and the waiters are always rushing around.

It's a bit outside the historic center, but I ate much better than at other pubs and paid much less. You can also eat outside. I also liked the beer better, but that's a matter of personal preference. Recommended.

Terrible service. What happened to beer halls in Munich? It's okay that it's not tasty, but you can just talk to them like human beings. Waiters take a long time to come up to you, and when they do come up, they make a really unpleasant face, killing the whole mood. I don't recommend this beer hall to anyone. And they don't warn you that you only pay in cash, but if you don't have cash, they'll bring you a terminal without any problems, but the price will be twice as high🤷‍♂️ that's such a brazen deception. Europe is going in the wrong direction, this is just barbarism.

Food: Classic Bavarian, nothing special. Service: Waiters get annoyed when you come just for a drink. Otherwise, okay. Atmosphere: Pushy musicians who should pay more attention to their intonation and stop begging for money. Otherwise, it's on a busy street, which you can hear.

I went to eat at a German beer brewery that even Japanese people know about. As expected, it's a famous, historic establishment, so I was shown inside the restaurant, told that the beer garden was full. I was shown to a seat by a large white woman. When I asked for the food, she kept saying things like, "Sorry, our order wasn't taken!" and ignored me for over 10 minutes even though I asked for the bill. Even though there were hardly any customers in the restaurant, I said, "Stop ignoring me!" and she finally brought the food and charged me a 10% service charge.

Historical and lovely place with wonderful decorations and totally German style interior. What bothered me a bit though was the vibe of some of the waiters… there was something going on in between the staff and it kind of transmitted to the rest of the space… they were arguing and having bad vibes… it didn’t match the wonderful cozy setting unfortunately. It’s a pity as a restaurant is so much about how the staff is feeling genuinely and it really shines out to the guests. Some of the staff could not speak with the German or English 100%, which was also kind of awkward. It needs to be said, though that some of the staff were really friendly. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back in the near future if they don’t exchange some of the staff so that all of them can meet the expectations of basic goodwill and friendliness

Absolutely outstanding, stylish, and cozy. Very competent, friendly staff, prices are absolutely reasonable, and the beer is delicious, as befits Bavaria.

Overall, the worst dining experience in Munich. We were there at lunch with a reservation. The beer garden is really nice and spacious. The waiter greeted us, showed us to our table, and was distracted/almost unfriendly from the start (more annoyed, 10 minutes after opening). We had hoped for the Weißwurst special, but they're no longer available due to the changed opening hours starting at 12 p.m. We asked for everything to be ordered individually because we wanted to eat Weißwurst for the first time in Munich. My husband and I ended up with two Weißwursts (we actually wanted two each), two pre-packaged mustard sachets, and a beer each, both of which were poured a good 2 cm below the fill line (mine was even lower). The food was rather mediocre. Our son's pork knuckle was good, the rest... When we asked how best to eat the Weißwurst, the waiter laughed and said, "Skim off the skin and eat it"... yes, thanks. Our daughter's Leberkäse was simply greasy, just like the fried egg. An absolute tourist rip-off.

First off, the food wasn't bad, but there were too many poop flies in the outdoor beer garden. There must have been at least 20 of them, so I had to constantly stir my hands, making it difficult to eat and making my stomach churn. When I finally paid, instead of clicking on the exact number of items I had ordered, they just calculated it roughly. The bill was 2 euros more than I'd paid, and when I later asked for a receipt, they said it was too late (they clearly saw the amount when paying and there was a tip option, so I didn't accidentally add a tip). They re-scanned the three items and beer, and only after confirming the 2 euro difference was paid did they give me my cash back. They didn't apologize at all and just dismissed it as a joke, which was very uncomfortable. I won't be back, and the owner needs to train his staff properly. I can't recommend this restaurant because I was deceived by the final bill. Two additional drinks that I didn't order were included in the bill. I only found out after I had paid myself (not a preliminary bill) and asked for a detailed bill, which wasn't brought to me immediately. The money was refunded, but afterward, there were no apologies or explanations. It's a shame that such a good restaurant with a world-famous name left such an impression. I came here to get a good mood and left disgruntled. The day was ruined for me and my friends, who had flown in from America and whom I had taken to this restaurant to taste the beer. The beer, by the way, was delicious.

We were invited by friends and had a wonderful evening at Löwenbräu yesterday. Maluchi served us – always super friendly and highly professional – thank you very much.

We would have liked to have something to eat and drink, but it started to drizzle. One of the staff members opened umbrellas so we could sit in the dry. The other (a tall, thin man) then yelled at us to go inside because it was raining, speaking as if he were my father. We were fed up. Incidentally, it stopped raining again after two minutes.

Simply a delight! A visit is a must.

Historic Munich brewery. Truly good food and impeccable service. Excellent beer. Very entertaining music. I highly recommend it for those seeking the best.

I have no idea if we just had a bad day, but it was a disaster from start to finish, apart from maybe the music. You wait forever for everything because the waiters, kitchen, and bar are ridiculously understaffed. We barely got two rounds of beer in three hours, and one of our group had the bad luck to order a schnitzel, which we then had to wait another 40 minutes for. The waiter emptied the first round of beer all over my girlfriend's trousers and jacket and then just cursed without apologizing at all during the entire wait (except for the handful of salad with the bread we ordered (which was billed along with the beer) was meant as an apology). After another 40 minutes and several requests for the bill, we pointed out to him when paying that the least we could have done was apologize. He just asked if we wanted a receipt and then quickly left. Overall, it was very disappointing, as with a decent supply of beer, the place could have definitely had a great party if they had simply hired four more people or set up four fewer tables. Since the place was packed, the owner probably won't care if his staff got burnout.

Food was very good, atmosphere was very energetic and entertaining but it was quite noise and some may perceive it as loud.

The bar staff were absolutely audacious with every single beer we ordered as a group of 20. Answer: We pointed this out to the waitress several times. Additionally, some of us went to the bar once. Since nothing changed, it's reasonable to assume this is a system.

I can definitely rate the Löwenbräukeller as good, 4 points. The outdoor area was quite crowded on that Saturday evening, and the waiters were really busy. Nevertheless, we found a seat quickly (they were assigned ;) ). The service was initially excellent, but later in the evening, the waiter lost interest in us. Anyway, it must have been a long day. The food was okay, as expected. I would have liked a little more freshness on the plate. Still, all in all – good!

I went there after being recommended by a local! The exterior of the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious! I went in the morning.

Anyone looking for authentic Bavarian/Munich cuisine, a fitting ambiance, and great beer will always be well-served here. In the five days I was there with my girlfriend, we ate there every day, and there was good reason for that. The waiters even wear dirndls and lederhosen and are always ready. Super authentic, and the prices are good, too. The Keller restaurant has my recommendation, and I almost never give it five stars.

[I can't stand racism] I went at peak time at 6pm, but the server at the entrance said there were no seats. There were only 4 seats that I could see, so when I said "there's one over there", they didn't let me sit inside but instead guided me to a place like a dog house right in front of the entrance. I ordered a beer and it came a long time later, but it was delicious so I recommend it... Is it a cultural difference to expect service at a restaurant?

Less touristy than the classic Augustiner or Hofbrauhaus, the Löwenbräukeller is located beyond the train station. A classic German beer hall, with a beautiful patio and outdoor terrace, excellent beer, and tasty food. Try the pork knuckle, the selection of sausages, the suckling pig, and the delicious side dishes (sauerkraut or a simple salad) are also noteworthy. Less touristy, more German, and slightly lower prices than the other more central and touristy establishments.

The food was good, the service felt like an assembly line, and the drink prices were exorbitant. Over €5 for a 0.4-liter Spezi is pretty steep. The beer garden is very nice.

Unfortunately, the opening hours listed online are incorrect. Service is very poor. The pub closes at 10:30 PM. Opening hours according to the website: Daily: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM You have to chase the waiter to order something. Or ask if you can order something else. They're busy playing on their phones!

Everything was excellent. One of the few restaurants in Germany where I truly enjoyed the food and service. Recommended.

Tour group dinner, great atmosphere and good beer.

Wonderful place to be with a group . Near the city centre with well connected by Metro. Both beer and food is simply awesome with quick service. Gives a feeling of old world charm. Highly recommend to visit during weekends . Prior booking during weekends might be required owing to the rush.

We were there late in the afternoon, and it wasn't busy at first. We had a very attentive and charming server (Maluchi Greiner) who kept checking on us to see if everything was okay, without being intrusive. The food was good (as they say in Bavaria: "Da kannst nix sagn"—which is almost a compliment) and truly plentiful—the portions were almost too large, and the prices were moderate. Overall, a lovely evening with great service!

The food is very nice. It will not be amazing, but is not bad at all regarding German classics. The service, on the other hand, is remarkably deficient. Rude and disregardful with English speaking customers. There are much better options in terms of quality and service

Swear a really nice meal with Glößn almost as good as we have at home in Diringen. So really nice glass! Mr gommn widder- Brimah! 👍

The food is homely and the prices are fair. Service is friendly, but ordering drinks after the first round was difficult. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy.

Löwenbräukeller. Let the name of the place not leave you perplexed - sitting in the actual cellar is not the only option: there is a biergarten, a spacious hall and secluded places to have a drink with your company. The food is good, the drinks are good, and in case you are a fan of singing along there is an in-house band going from table to table, that'd play literally everything you can think of with a touch of German authenticity!

The food was very good, the adjoining room was nice, but unfortunately the service was completely overwhelmed. We had to ask for cutlery and napkins after the food was already on the table. A tray with cutlery was brought, and stacks of napkins were brought to the tables upon further request.

Pleasant ambiance in the beer garden, unfortunately grotesquely overpriced. Drinks (Helles 5.60) and food are priced at the same level as at Marienplatz, without offering any particular quality.

The Löwenbräukeller is definitely worth a visit. The service was very friendly and everything was always super quick. It's also not as busy as the Hofbräuhaus. So if you want to experience Munich flair with less fuss, this is the place for you!
