The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Our waitress Yasmina provided excellent service! She was incredibly friendly and attentive, and recommended the Löwen Reindl and the Kaiserschmarrn – both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back because Yasmina was so lovely. Thank you so much for the wonderful service!

Unfortunately, our snack platter had been prepared too long ago. The bread consisted of three small, stale, and hard slices. The salad garnish also looked rather unfresh. The rest was fine, but it wasn't enough to make us want to come back. What a shame.

I was at the Löwenbräukeller this morning and received a warm welcome from the entire team. The waitress Anastasia gave me excellent advice and really made my morning. I'll definitely be back more often! 😉😉😉

I attended the "Spirituality & Healing Fair." The €12 daily entrance fee is reasonable, and there's a wide selection of booths as well as various lectures. If you only browse the booths, you'll be done in about an hour, but with the lectures, you can easily spend a whole day there. What surprised and thought-provoked me was that books on black magic and Freemasonry were also being offered. This bothered me because I didn't expect to find this content in an environment that focuses so heavily on positive spirituality and healing. The atmosphere there also felt quite mixed to me at times, and I couldn't feel energetically comfortable—that's just my personal impression, of course. Overall, the mood and energy there felt somewhat strange and out of place. Despite the diverse offerings, I wouldn't visit the fair again based on my subjective experience.

Hell is the least interesting of the Munich 6.

I went to the LBK for the traditional Bavarian white sausage breakfast on a recommendation – everything was perfect. But what made the visit truly special were the guys and girls on the staff: they still laugh at work and the team is incredibly friendly. Keep it up! 🙂

We enjoyed the good, traditional food and fast service!

Legendary Bavarian cuisine, good beer, and the wines and Aperol Spritz are also delicious. The onion roast beef, the Löwenbräukeller Reindl (a traditional Bavarian dish), and the Wiener Schnitzel are all excellent. The service is sometimes a little rushed, which is certainly due to the restaurant being completely full and also a bit Bavarian in character. However, after calling a second time, a waiter is at your table and takes your order very quickly and courteously. The vaulted ceiling is decorated in typical Bavarian style and invites you to linger. I always enjoy going there.

Very loud, some of the waiters seemed very stressed, and it took a long time before anyone came to our table. The atmosphere was otherwise good, but you can get better food in Munich. We had reserved it for a business lunch, and I would only recommend it with reservations.

It was my first time at Löwenbrǎukeller even I was in Munich countless times. This place was impressive and amazing. I took my friends from Thailand to have real Bavarian dinner. They loved it so much !! I would definitely recommend to all who would like to immerse yourself with Bavarian atmosphere.

This brewery is very popular, so it's quite hectic. The staff seems overwhelmed, and you often have to repeat your order several times. It's also quite noisy inside.

Since we were ignored at the Hofbräuhaus, we found another option. I'm glad we weren't served at the first one, because this restaurant was the best thing that could have happened to us! Good atmosphere, fast service, delicious food

After being ignored by all the waiters or told they weren't responsible, we left after more than half an hour without ever having received a menu. There was no service whatsoever. We won't be coming back. We ended up getting a falafel wrap instead. Much cheaper and much faster ;)

Basically a nice and traditional shop. However, even though we didn't see any reason for it, everything was very hectic. As a result, the service and food suffered.

Food was good for Wirtshaus. Service was overwhelmed with a group of twenty people and unfriendly.

Local brewery with beer brewed according to the Purity Law. Food is available, but we only had a few drinks, though the food looks delicious.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at the Löwenbräukeller. The waiter (a man) was extremely rude and unprofessional, so we eventually had to leave the restaurant. I really would have expected more from such a well-known establishment. I recommend that anyone who comes here avoid sitting in the upper left area (when going up the stairs opposite the entrance) – that's where this unfriendly waiter apparently works, and it can easily ruin your entire evening.

Extremely delicious food, server was funny and friendly, great place to eat, drink and relax. Portion sizes were great - not too much to the point where one would feel stuffed. Depending on palette, certain dishes might be a bit salty, but that's what the beer is for. Tried the kellerbier, dunkel and original beer. All tasted great, but if if only given one choice, I'd recommend trying the original. There is a sweetness similar to that of honey, which is great when paired with the pork shoulder. The pork shoulder skin was crisp, crunchy and flavorful. The meat was soft that I didnt need a knife to cut it. My only regret was not ordering the entire shoulder. The dumpling helped balance the saltiness of the gravy and meat. The dessert, Kaiserschmarrn was also excellent that one could enjoy the contrast of the hot pancakes with the cold sauce. I could go on about the food, but overall, A must-eat for those visiting Munich!

The food and beer were excellent. I had the duck from the weekly menu. Excellent value for money. The food could have been a bit warmer overall, though. But that doesn't matter. I'll be back.

I visited during Oktoberfest. This beer is familiar in Japan, but it's amazing to drink locally. The entrance to the beer hall is not at the top of the stairs, but a door next to them, so it might be a little confusing at first glance.

Very attentive service, excellent food, and world-class beer. We were here this morning for a white sausage breakfast, can highly recommend it, and would gladly return.

Well, I have to say, I'm 58 years old and a regular restaurant goer. I've never enjoyed a service like that with Marko Begic. We were a table of six, with lots of orders, and the place was busy. Marko was absolutely on the ball, he didn't forget anything, brought everything quickly, and is a truly pleasant person. Truly 15 stars just for Marko.

More noise than atmosphere The Löwenbräukeller in Munich, a traditional inn, promises Bavarian hospitality, but in reality delivered a very mixed experience, which was unfortunately overshadowed by some significant shortcomings. Atmosphere and Noise Level A central and negative element of our visit was the atmosphere. The noise level in the restaurant was extremely disturbing – it strongly resembled the acoustics of a train station concourse. Normal conversation was barely possible. In addition, there were intrusive football fans who contributed to the already unbearable noise and dampened the mood. For a relaxed restaurant visit, the noise level is absolutely unacceptable. Food and Odor I don't want to directly assess the quality of the food, but one significant point of criticism is the odor. My clothes smelled strongly of food after the visit, which indicates poor or insufficient ventilation in the restaurant. Service and Drinks One bright spot was the service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the stay more pleasant, at least in that respect. The drinks experience, however, was disappointing: The coffee I ordered was advertised as "large" on the menu, but in reality, it was only a small size. This feels like a rip-off and is annoying given the usual Munich prices. Conclusion The Löwenbräukeller may be a place steeped in tradition, but the current experience is unfortunately lacking. The excessive noise and the smell of food on your clothes overshadow the friendliness of the service and the central location. Anyone looking for a quiet, enjoyable evening should definitely look for an alternative.

We went on Thursday afternoon without a reservation, we had no problem waiting but the service was very hectic and they forgot something, even though the receipt was inside.

The layout of a normal beer house is normal, the dishes are normal, and the service is not full. However, five people have to squeeze into a square table. There is a group of five people sitting at a long table behind us. They kept asking if we had finished eating. I don't know why. I think there should be better options. The band played the birthday song at the next table, and the atmosphere was great.

This is one of the most well-known beer houses in Munich. It was a pleasure to drink a beer we already enjoy in person. If you're curious, stop by.

We had made a reservation by phone. From the outside, it looked like what you'd expect from a typical Bavarian brewery. Unfortunately, the inside isn't. But that's a matter of taste. We were given a table in the middle of the hall, only to be told we were fully booked. Our listless waiter took our drink order. 2 Maß (literally "liter") and 2 Radler (shandy), but we got 2 Helles instead of Radler. Okay! The food order! It took about 3 minutes, then the industrial kitchen food arrived. Haxe (roast pork knuckle) and roast pork with rosemary potatoes. They came with potato salad. Swap! Yes... The food was mass-produced, the meat was all fat, the knuckle was dry and tough. After that, the waiter disappeared. But we had the house musicians right next to us for a brief chat. Oh, by the way, the hall was 1/3 full. Sorry, that's not what we were looking for. We don't recommend it.

It was a brilliant experience from my side. It was Oktoberfest and luckily by the time I arrive there were still some seats available. Classic traditional German restaurant with lots of traditional drinking options and German food. Ambiance was super. Service was very good. There was a traditional live music by the time I was there. I had schnitzel and lowenbrau original. Recommended.

Really enjoyable lunch in the braukeller. Food was tasty and well cooked, staff friendly and attentive and the building is lovely. Heartily recommend.

We had beef goulash and the grilled sausage platter. Unfortunately I don't have any photos. We're from Leipzig or Munich. It was great to show someone from Leipzig the fantastic Bavarian food culture. The beef goulash had a fantastic sauce. The dumplings were incredibly tasty and the meat was very tender and soft, with great muscle meat. The price was unbeatable for the quality. A really fantastic meal. The location was fantastic for the middle of Munich. We sat outside in the beer garden in the most wonderful October wind. The service was very quick. Unfortunately no photos of the dishes. I did take photos of the picturesque location. The lion in Bavaria at the Löwenbräu can't be missed.

It was bustling and wonderful during Oktoberfest. The Schweinshaxe was just okay, and the beer was delicious. The atmosphere was great.

We had spontaneously reserved a table, but when we arrived, we were greeted with a very rude welcome. Even though it wasn't full, we were turned away. The unfriendly waitress/server didn't bother to take our reservation. I've been there a few times before, just for a beer, and the waiters were pretty awful. I don't recommend this place, and I won't be going back!!!!!

Lowenbrau makes an excellent Dunkel and the Keller is welcoming with its historic look. Unfortunately, the staff is not so pleasant. They seemed to be annoyed with having to work and were often seen arguing with each other. I like Löwenbräukeller but be prepared for the staff difficulties.

If you go to Munich, this is a place you must experience. The taste of real beer, the food of very high quality, and the restaurant's luxurious atmosphere make it a place where couples and families can have the best experience.

Sunny Miami is the best guy in town! He is an awesome server and he sure knows how to party! Lowenbraukeller was perfect even with our party of 30 people. 100% recommend and can’t thank them enough!

Great authentic place to visit. Also delicious food and drinks.

Outside the building is nice. Very traditional in shiny yellow. Inside we were placed at a 6 people table. The light was dark. The menu card was available in English. The dish was not tasty but very expensive. I ordered apple juice but got water with apple taste. I expected a tourist trap and got not disappointed. Come here for taking pictures, to experience the Biergarten, keep your money if your hungry and go to a real restaurant.

I wasn't familiar with the place. A typical Munich beer hall with its original brewery behind it. No party. Adequate. Otherwise, uneventful.

This is a traditional Munich beer hall, one of six major breweries licensed to serve beer during Oktoberfest. The cuisine features classic Bavarian specialties: pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe), sausages, pretzels, poultry dishes, and more, all accompanied by Löwenbräu beers. The interior is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is warm, while the Biergarten (beer garden) is particularly pleasant in summer.

What a disappointment... long wait... the most expensive beer hall in Munich... I had to complain to the waiter several times to get the bill... the Munich beer halls in the old town are much better.

authentic Bavarian experience - awesome beer and strudel

Unfortunately, you have to give at least one star to even be able to rate. The venue is unfortunately completely overwhelmed with the events they want to host. The 2018 Veterinary Medicine Graduation Ball was unfortunately ruined by the Löwenbräukeller's catastrophic organizational incompetence, after what had been such a wonderful day up until then. How can you set up a buffet for around 1,000 people that's laid out like a maze? Unfortunately, most people had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. The first dishes were cold by the time their plates were halfway full. The most outrageous thing, however, was that the buffet was booked until 11 p.m., but closed before 10 p.m. The only thing that went really well on the organizer's side was the drinks distribution; the beer glass was already removed and a new one offered before the old one was even empty. Guys, that was an absolute disaster.

I was shown to a table by a very unfriendly "waiter," and when I immediately wanted to order a beer, I was told, "Someone will come and take your order." I then sat there for 30 minutes without any of the staff paying any attention to me, let alone being served. I was really hungry and thirsty. When I finally called for attention, the waitress pointedly turned away. I haven't experienced such poor "service" in a long time. I left and will certainly not waste my time there again. A very unpleasant experience with this kind of "hospitality."

Too noisy if you do not get drunk.

Today we ate at the Löwenbräukeller for the first time. A very friendly waitress named Yasmina welcomed us and recommended roast pork with cabbage and cheese spaetzle, which was very delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes for service. Despite several different waitresses and waiters coming by several times, our order wasn't even taken. It's a shame, but we'll eat and drink somewhere else.

I'd been sitting there for almost 45 minutes. No one came over to take our order. One waitress said, "A colleague will be right there," but nothing more. Really disappointing, since I was told it was pretty good there. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of that.

We were a group of 50 people, and honestly, the service was terrible. Unmotivated waiters and the food, well, that's a matter of taste. As a guest, you're practically brushed off, and that doesn't exactly create a welcoming atmosphere...a real shame. With that in mind, cheers!

Unfortunately, the visit was unsatisfactory. You don't feel welcome here. Hospitality doesn't look like that.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Löwenbräukeller with a group didn't meet our expectations at all. You're literally rushed off the counter so you leave as quickly as possible. The service seemed to be based on the motto: "Be glad you're even being served." The lady in particular was extremely unfriendly and even tried to lecture us about ordering several things at once. Do we now have to conduct a survey in a group of over 30 people before we dare to order? :’-) . When water, beer, and other drinks arrived, they were simply passed from the opposite side of the table, making it impossible to reach them. So, all guests were expected to help the waitresses. No thanks! If you don't want to work in the waiting area, you should leave and instead water plants or pick up the soil, but please don't do anything that involves guests. The appetizer was really good, but the other courses followed so quickly that there was hardly any time for a break. Dessert was simply slapped down on several people, even though they weren't even seated. They didn't even ask if they wanted a coffee or something similar. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this city, but I will definitely avoid this one in the future.

Warning! Don't eat anything here... the only good thing was the beer. The liver dumpling soup was inedible, the sirloin was hard and dry, the baked potato was almost cold and tasteless. The knuckle of pork was also not good. The worst meal we've ever had.

A lovely beer garden a little ways out of the hustle of Munich City Centre but easily accessible by public transport. We didn't eat but the food looked good. I would go back but preferred some of the other beer halls/gardens in Munich such as Augustiner Keller or Hofbrauhaus.
