Really a great beer garden. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the beer garden itself. But the food was great.

Not recommended. Only precious materials are served. Every comparable restaurant offers both light and export. I continued to have by far the worst roast suckling pig of my life. The meat was downright hard and the crust was soft and chewy instead of crispy and barely there. The portion size is not appropriate for the price. Despite making an early reservation and requesting a single table, you were seated at a table that was already occupied by other people. However, a box opposite was free throughout the evening. Overall, very unsatisfactory, touristy and only an option due to the central location.

I use it every time I go on a business trip. The atmosphere is great and the taste is great. And there are plenty of gluten-free options (beer, pretzels, side dishes, etc.). If you want to enjoy the best German food, this is the place! ! Personally, the pork steak is a must. The staff are sometimes curt and cold, but some are warm and nice, so it depends on the person. It's good by German standards, but I want it to be perfect.

Beautiful beer garden, very good service and the best food we had in a Munich beer garden.

My assessment is of course one from the outside, as I'm not from Munich, but forgive me. Ambience is very good. Sitting under the many old trees has a natural feeling. I also think the division of the catered area with different levels is great. The service is friendly and very quick. But you had to ask around 6 times until you got to the reserved spot. It might be better centrally. But then it could also build up. The food was ok. The prices are of course, as expected in Munich, outrageously expensive. I was surprised that the beer price was okay. I had a snack plate with some cold cuts, but: 1 slice of bread and 1 small pretzel. I wonder if the liver sausage should have been sucked off the skin. Of course we ordered a slice of bread (for a fee). The slim dish for €20... the other dishes are in a similar price category, although mine probably had more meat on it than the small half duck. Well, tourist hotspot. Of course, you always decide for yourself whether you go or not.

Charming garden with many places and fast service. We thought it strange that you can only order liters of beer between 5 and 10 p.m.? We only shared one between the two of us. Delicious Bavarian specialities!

I'm there for a beer, clean and above all pre-chilled glass, perfectly poured and the foam like a lot - a dream. Then the knife opens in the hosn 😍😍😍😍. Especially if I called a foamy one, then I also got a foamy one

Beautiful historic building. The food was bad. Duck was tough and skin was leather. Red cabbage only Baz. Too bad. I would have liked to complain promptly, but there was no service. First to pay and then it was too late anyway

Disappointing. This Munich institution has seriously declined. The beer was poorly poured, the Wienerschnitzel was limp and sticky, the pretzels were old and the service was boring and even arrogant.

We were in the beer garden, didn't have to wait long, the food and drinks were very good, the atmosphere was pleasant and cozy as always

One of the biggest mistakes to follow 1mio flies who can not be wrong. We had a reservation for our group on the famous and well rated terrace. OK nice but not at all special. I can not mention one nice point, basic benches and tables on split/gritting material. That's the famous bavarian Gemütlichkeit we looked for.... The food was under any quality level we can think of. Famous half chicken was a desaster. White, pale, flabby skin with bo taste at all. Roast veal with crunchy crust drowned in a cheap Diner sauce so crust was before or after flabby also. Already before we reached the hotel I got heavy intestinal grimness the whole night diarrhoea and vomit.

Huge size, great playground for the children and there are lots of shaded areas! Really nice to sit. A little more expensive of course, but that's to be expected given the central location

It is a must-see in Munich if you are interested in visiting a typical Bavarian restaurant. Unlike those in the center, this brewery is huge, with many tables both indoors and outdoors (in a park). It's practically self-service.

I was there on Friday early afternoon with family and friends from abroad. We were in the self-service area which later became smaller and smaller. The beer is good. The food is just like it is in the self-service area when there's not so much going on. Well, at least it's served quickly. We all found the counter staff to be rather rude. I wouldn't come again because there are other beer gardens.

It is a cost-effective gourmet meal. The best house in Munich is here. Of course, I haven't been to all of them, but when I travel to many places, I realize that this is roughly the upper limit of the level of stores. The Schweins Hakse tasted weird (it doesn't taste as good as Korean pig's feet, so if it's more than basic for our tastes, it's really delicious here), and the level of the wurst was also good. The beer is especially delicious. As you can see from my other reviews, I mostly order wine, but I drank 3 beers here. There are many types of beer, but Weissbier is of high quality. I ordered 1/2 school tax, wurst, and 5 beers, and it came to 68.35 euros (including 10% tip). The wurst dish shown in the picture is not on the menu, but they will give it to you if you ask for it while showing the picture. They say it used to be on the menu but has now been removed.

We ate outside on the balcony in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were great.

5 stars – A must for every visitor to Munich! The Augustinerkeller in Munich is a place full of tradition and charm that offers an incomparable Bavarian experience. The food is simply outstanding - from the hearty pork knuckles to the crispy pretzels to the delicious Kaiserschmarrn, every palate is pampered here. I was particularly impressed by the freshness and quality of the food, coupled with the friendly and attentive service, which always had a smile on its face, even when the house was full. The beer, of course the traditional Augustiner, simply tastes better here than anywhere else - a real pleasure in such an authentic atmosphere. The beer garden is a wonderful place to unwind and experience the typical Munich lifestyle. Regardless of whether you are a local or a tourist, a visit to the Augustinerkeller is an absolute must. I'll definitely be back!

The place of trust for: beer in a beer garden atmosphere. I wouldn't come again for the roast pork, but I would for the tasty beer in a cool beer garden atmosphere - that could be more.

The service is still great. But the portions feel like they are getting smaller and smaller.

Brewery with large park. There is the possibility of taking the self-service and choosing your own table (we went in the summer). Some people get beer and bring their own food. Typical German dishes and good quality beer. There are also vegetarian places. Recommended for those who like an informal place.

Our visit to the Augustiner Keller with two families, nine people in total, left a mixed impression. We had reserved in advance and were able to be seated immediately after our arrival without waiting, which was very pleasant. The ambience in the Augustiner Keller is exactly what you would expect from a traditional Bavarian inn - rustic, cozy and typically Bavarian. The atmosphere definitely adds to the charm of the place. Unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed during our visit. We had to wait a long time for our waiter, who was clearly very busy. We also waited an uncomfortably long time for our drinks, which somewhat dampened our enjoyment of the meal. The food itself was fine. We had, among other things, suckling pig and knuckle, which were well prepared, although not outstanding. It was tasty, but we were perhaps hoping for a little more, especially considering the reputation of the Augustiner Keller. All in all, it was a nice evening in an authentic environment, but the long waiting times for both service and drinks unfortunately spoiled the overall impression somewhat. With better organization in the service, the experience could be much more pleasant.

Large beer garden and plenty of space (when open! It's best to check online beforehand). Self-service or seat service (at an additional cost) Price/performance is ok to good. Less than €10, totally ok. Food a little more expensive, but really typically Bavarian. Not hot, but good warm. Something for every taste. Highly recommended visit!

It is a very nice and vibey place. Personally don't like being in beer halls nor drinking beer but their home beer was actually pretty nice. It didn't have the strong alcoholic taste and has the malty flavour. The live musical performances are also quite entertaining.

We visited on a weekday evening and were mind blown by the crowd and the vibe! It is impressive how they keep up with such a high volume of customers on a daily basis; it had almost felt like a fair when we were there. That said, we enjoyed an Edelstoff and a Weissbier alongside one Perlgraupenrisot and a Lachsfilet. The food and the drinks were top-notch, as were the service and the ambiance. A must visit in Munich!

An institution in Munich and rightly so. A large and beautifully landscaped beer garden and a huge inn. Although the restaurant was busy, service was quick and attentive. The appetizers went quickly. The Obatzda is highly recommended here. Better than comparable breweries. For the main course I was able to try the outstanding onion roast and Agnes Bernauer plate. The sauce from the onion roast is very strong and can be easily soaked up with the crispy roasted potatoes. Everything I was able to try there was highly recommended. I'll be back
