Beautifully renovated, great tableware and ambiance. Very good food, with something for everyone. Very friendly service, but still a bit chaotic at times. Still needs to get used to it. A lunch menu during the week would be great, and in the afternoons, more cake selection and milk alternatives for coffee would be great, too.

One of my favorite places: An oasis in the city – right next to the English Garden. After the renovations completed in recent months, the restaurant, terrace, and beer garden shine with a stylish design – a wonderful achievement. The employee who served us was the epitome of friendliness – that's hospitality. We'll be back, whether during the day or in the evening – it's also wonderful for a bike ride.

This is truly an oasis in the heart of Munich! Located on the Bayern LB sports campus, the restaurant has been recently acquired and is now called Riviera76. The cuisine is Mediterranean-influenced, and the service is super friendly! Special mention goes to the beautiful plates and the restaurant's extravagant design!

I give it a full 5 stars for the cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The beef tartare was delicious and seemed to be very well prepared. However, for the price, I would have preferred a bit more refinement and a more generous portion for the salad (see photo).

Unfortunately, not such a good new start. We were really looking forward to visiting the new Riviera 76 restaurant in the Bayern LB sports restaurant – new concept, new ambiance, lots of anticipation. As we sat down, the owner immediately informed us that the food might take a while because the kitchen wasn't fully equipped yet – "You can't get any tradespeople anymore." Understandable when something like this is still under construction. What irritated us, however, was that when we asked for a seat cushion, he simply pointed us to a chair further away where we could get one ourselves. The service was rather unsuitable for us. After that, no one came to our table for about 15 minutes. Another table next to us had already been waiting for over an hour for their food, to which the waitress simply said she could "ask the kitchen now." We eventually left the restaurant without ordering. Our impression: If the kitchen isn't ready yet, you should either offer a small, manageable menu or sweeten the wait with a free drink or something similar beforehand. That would have sent a more positive message to guests. Unfortunately, this start was disappointing for us. We hope that the service and processes will soon settle down – the concept itself has potential.

After the restaurant reopened on August 9, 2025, following extensive renovations, we stopped by (for once, without children). The positives: The restaurant is super stylish, there was chilled music playing in the background, and the food was delicious and attractively presented. Unfortunately, it was very noticeable that the team isn't yet well-coordinated, which brings me to the negatives of our visit: We found a table ourselves around 8:00 p.m. and were shortly thereafter asked to "move" because the table was apparently reserved (a "No Reservation" sign). However, the table remained unoccupied for the rest of the evening. It took exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes for us to get our food. To be honest, we were very glad we didn't have children with us, because everything just took far too long. Unfortunately, the starter was forgotten. The side salads for the main courses were also missing; they were only brought upon request and, unfortunately, only after we had finished our main course. The Caesar salad was delicious, but it lacked anchovies, and the chicken was too soft/undercooked. We weren't sure whether it was actually highly processed, molded meat. We can only recommend purchasing better-quality chicken. Since the restaurant is located right next to the English Garden, it was very chilly around 9:00 p.m. despite the hot summer day. Unfortunately, the restaurant couldn't provide any blankets, but they promised to purchase them in the future. We didn't get the impression that they were understaffed, but what was noticeable was that we had to wait a really long time (e.g., until we initially ordered and then finally paid the bill). Unfortunately, our final bill was also incorrect and had to be corrected. Given all the minor glitches, we felt that an invitation to an espresso "on the house" would have been appropriate. We really hope that these initial difficulties will be resolved in the coming weeks, as we regularly use the adjacent sports campus with our children and have always enjoyed eating there in the past.

A new tenant with a new and very different concept than the one in previous years. Previous reviews, photos, and food are misleading. Bavarian and Greek dishes are no longer available. Be aware of this before visiting.

Both the food and the ambiance are first-class. I'd gladly go back!

The food was exceptionally good! The Munich schnitzel and the creamy roast were first-class! The service was quick and uncomplicated, highly recommended; you could almost say it's an insider tip!

Hidden restaurant that is worth a visit (or several). Unfortunately it would have rained, but that wasn't a problem thanks to the oversized awning. We stayed dry. Later we moved inside. A lovely evening.

We only came for an hour. There was a local 30+ football tournament. There was a restaurant, a cafe... There was a summer playground. Nearby is a swimming pool. They broadcast football barbecue, sausages, beer... A lot of people were resting

Ich besuche seit Jahren die Gaststätte regelmäßig. Schöner Garten und auch offene Terrasse, die bei Regen überdacht wird. Freier Blick ins Grüne. Essen sehr gut und auch preiswert, Augustiner Bier! Habe schon öfter größere Treffen (Klassentreffen) dort einberufen. Man ist flexibel: zuerst im schönen schattigen Biergarten, und sollte es zu tröpfeln beginnen, dann kann man nach drinnen wechseln!

Unsere diesjährige Jubiläumsfeier war wieder ein voller Erfolg. Sehr gutes Essen. Freundliches Personal. Kommen gerne wieder.

Man sitzt draußen auf der Terrasse oder unter einer wunderschönen Kastanie. Drinnen angenehm modern. Das Essen ist immer gut und frisch (war schon öfter da) und abwechslungsreich. Die Preise sind für das Ambiente und die Qualität günstig. Es gibt auch immer drei bis vier leckere handgemachte Kuchen zur Auswahl.

Nicht ganz so „unpretentious“ wie die Allianz Gaststätte ein bisschen weiter nördlich, aber mindestens genauso schmackhaft! Verschwitzt vom Joggen würde ich da höchstens schnell im Biergarten ein Helles trinken. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Innen sehr hübsches Ambiente mit freundlichem Personal.

Wir hatten eine tolle Geburtstagsfeier mit leckerem Buffett und anschließendem Kegelspass auf der Kegelbahn in der Sportarena. Die Betreiber sind super freundlich und versuchen jeden Wunsch zu möglich zu machen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Dieses empfehlenswerte, für den München Besucher schwer zu findende Restaurant, wird v. a. von Stammgästen besucht. Beneidenswert, wer sich hier regelmäßig als Gast niederlassen darf. Hier stimmt alles, Preis und Qualität!

Really nice restaurant! Went there on a quiet weekday for lunch, and still was surprised by the quality of the food! Very nice daily menu, good attention, very fast, and also good dessert. Fully recommended if you’re in the area and just fancy a drink and/or some food!

Ja, an sich ist es „nur“ eine Art Sportler-Lokal für Besucher der Betriebssportanlage der BayernLB, aber hier gibt es neben einem freundlichen Service auch ein sehr gutes Preisgefüge, eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und eine sehr gute Qualität. Gerne jederzeit wieder - also wenn man es beim Spaziergang durch den Englischen Garten nicht mehr bis zum Aumeister schafft, hier unbedingt einkehren.

Schöne ruhige Anlage mit großer Terrasse. Die Standard Gerichte sind alle empfehlenswert und schmackhaft. Di-Fr gibt es mittags ein Tagesmenue, das seit Juni um 26% erhöht wurde, aber preislich noch angemessen ist.

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten, ein modernes Restaurant - alles super renoviert und wunderbar in Schuss und das mitten im Grünen. Nicht zu vergessen, die Freundlichkeit der Pächterin und der Mitarbeiter. Fazit: Hier passt einfach alles und es stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Lokal bietet Außerdem Live Übertragung aller Bayern Spiele auf Sky und DAZN an. Sehr gut finde ich dass Hunde verboten sind. Das Lokal ist immer einen Besuch wert und anschließend ist ein Spaziergang im Englischen Garten zu empfehlen.

Eine schöne ruhige Lage. Freundliches Personal und schneller Service. Essen (Rinderbrühe und Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, dazu Salat) war saftig und lecker. Oktoberfest Augustinerbier, Apperolspritz und Weißwein-Custoza, kalt und erfrischend. Empfehlenswert

Super Team, super Küche und der Espresso ein Traum

Super tolle Lage, entspannte Atmosphäre, toller Biergarten und schöne Sonnenterrasse. Das Essen ist griechisch angehaucht und immer sehr lecker. Reservierung empfohlen. Wir haben hier bisher immer gut und zu realistischen Preisen gegessen. Kann ich uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Mitten im unteren Teil des Englsichen Gartens eine Oase der Gastlichkeit zu moderaten Preisen mit Fußball Live Übertragung - Sky - großem Biergarten und Terasse und großzügigem modernem Innenraum. Sogar ein Kegelbahn ist vorhanden. (Kindergeburtstag :-) ) Da das Gelände weiträumig eingezäunt ist, können Kinder ohne Sorge frei herum laufen und Spaß haben, während man die leckere Asiatische, Griechische und Bayerische Küche genießt. Darüber hinaus selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Das Sportheim ist immer einen Ausflug wert!
