Very nice beer garden. The restaurant inside is also still pretty rustic. The service was very friendly, even though she was all alone and stressed. We only had a drink, but the food at the neighboring tables looked very good.

Delicious food in really large portions at fair prices that you can't find in many places in Munich anymore. Big praise! We'll definitely be back!

Food is good, except for the dumplings, which are always like stones... What really doesn't work is the service: very, very unfriendly! I work with people myself and that's not how you treat people. Even if there are a lot of customers and the staff is understaffed... such unfriendliness is unacceptable! Card payment is almost never possible.

Too bad: card payment is not possible. So I had to go back before ordering. Apparently tourists are not welcome. Too bad.

Even today I am still impressed by the quality, the ambience and the good price-performance ratio. The quality remained stable. Whether it's a family celebration, lunch or ending the evening with very good, plentiful food, it's always nice and worth a visit. Excellent quality. Good value for money. Nice, new Bavarian ambience and friendly service. The menu appeals to the whole family.

Unfortunately, I've eaten there many times for various family celebrations, and every time (unfortunately already dozens of times) I get severe diarrhea and stomach cramps. From now on, I'll take Tupper boxes with me if I can't avoid a visit again.

Love the food very generous but the disappointing part is they did wont accept my UK card. I have so many options yo use Visa,Master card, Amex even travel card with euro currency in it. The lady said they only accept Germany card which I found it strange. I intend to pay for my friends foods but ended up it's them who paid for our dinner. As I don't have cash. Food is great but to pay your bill uts either you have cash or card that issued in Germany.

My favorite economy. Very good cuisine, price performance 1a. Very friendly and competent staff. Beautiful, cozy beer garden...the right place to enjoy and feel good. We recommend. I'm lucky enough to only live about 100m away.

Waited 1.5 hours for the food. Arrived cold and salty. We then had to ask the waitress whether we had seen what was going on here. Yes, it's Mother's Day and the kitchen is busy. Badly organized! The waitress should have pointed out the waiting time beforehand. The place used to be great. Now only underground. Also a totally unfriendly boss.

Wonderful, uncomplicated restaurant in Munich with a large selection of hearty dishes. There is also a weekly menu. In summer you can also sit in the garden. Even just one drink or several beers is very welcome.

Very nice, traditional Bavarian inn. Colorfully mixed audience, including card players. Food is traditional and very good. Ideal for family celebrations. When the weather is good, the Wirtsgarten is highly recommended.

I've been going to Garden City every Saturday for a few months now and haven't been disappointed with either the quality of the food or the service. The dishes I have ordered so far have always been delicious. The apple cakes and the cheese spaetzle in particular are among my favorites. What I personally particularly like is the spacious arrangement of the tables, so that you can sit together with your people and everyone has enough space. You can have a conversation at a normal volume without having to shout at each other. The portions are large, so you really feel full (and I can eat a lot). The beer garden is in a very quiet location and I'm looking forward to next summer when you can sit outside again. The owner Fiorella is a piece of gold. Her recommendations were always appropriate and conversations with her were pleasant and exhilarating.

First of all, the positive, the food was delicious and a large portion. Extremely disappointed with the service and how they treat their guests. We asked if we could pay with an EC card and the answer was no. I asked if that wasn't generally possible. The answer was something stroppy, which is what I'm whining about now, it's on the sign outside. We didn't see the sign in question afterwards either. I recommended that she look for another job if she doesn't seem to want to do her job. As I found out afterwards, that was probably the boss. However, I cannot understand how people treat their guests so rudely. She said to someone else who asked for cutlery that he could get it himself back there. Conclusion so unfriendly that I definitely won't go there again.

Very friendly service, the food is very tasty, the portions are very large for the price. As a Munich resident you are hardly used to it anymore. Beer garden was clean, so I can't understand the other reviews as it was very clean when we visited on Easter Sunday. We'd love to come back

Dirty, disgusting and uncomfortable. It was loud and I had to wait 40 minutes for my food just to have it served cold on an unwashed plate. My cutlery was also dirty and I saw how I got the dirty napkin from the table next door. I advise you not to go to this dirty place.

Simply rubbish! It's unbelievable how disgusting it is there. I was there with my family and it was a mess. The people are unfriendly, it's dirty, and the food was old and cold. I haven't been so disappointed with a restaurant in a long time. Don't go!!!

A nice shop in itself. However, a very aggressive owner as it got a little louder when pushed. We apologized immediately after receiving an evil eye. The owner then freaked out and had to be accompanied outside by a waitress to vent. I would never enter the store again. No recommendation!!!

Schönes münchnerisches Lokal. Wir hatten Hirschgulasch und Ente. War sehr gut. Die Menge mehr als ausreichend. Schön warm und günstig. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich.

Sehr schneller und sehr freundlicher Service. Habe einen "Asia Salat" mit kleinen Frühlingsrollen, Gernelenspießen und Yakitorispießen dort gegessen. Der Salat war frisch und knackig, die Spieße sehr gut gewürzt und das Dressing war leicht und lecker. Ich geh da wieder hin.

21.10.23 das Essen ist noch immer sehr gut. Und der Service ist mittlerweile auch top. Rundum ein tolles Lokal mit schönen Ambiente und sehr gutem Essen! ------- Sehr gutes Essen zu guten Preisen. Etwas Geduld sollte man für die Bedienung mit bringen denn es könnte etwas dauern bis man dran kommt. Aber die können sich auch nicht teilen. Location Biergarten, ist sehr gemütlich im Hinterhof. Alles mit allem kann ich es nur empfehlen.
