A fantastic Bavarian restaurant! Friendly, fast service and great food. The cordon bleu is especially recommended!

Frequent visits lead to poor blood test results! Quality is okay, portion size is adequate and reasonably priced. Card payments are only accepted for amounts over €30... so practically impossible unless you're ordering five beers.

Food was good, but the place was very crowded. We had purchased a gift voucher and were only able to redeem it with great difficulty. "Damn gift vouchers!" someone shouted across the restaurant. That shouldn't happen.

We met friends here for dinner in July, and we won't be going back! The service left a lot to be desired; when we tried to order, we felt like the waitress was annoyed by us. The food was okay, but expensive. Unfortunately, we didn't feel like welcome guests at all, but rather like annoying customers. When paying (which unfortunately wasn't possible with Visa), it turned out that this unfriendly waitress was the "boss"!

It was incredibly delicious and fantastic. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back! We love it here!

We witnessed the manager speaking loudly and disrespectfully to an employee and ultimately throwing him out in front of all the guests. We were genuinely shocked and speechless. In our opinion, this is not how you treat your staff. This situation created a very depressing atmosphere—for both guests and employees. We were regulars for a long time and always felt comfortable with you. However, after such an incident, we unfortunately cannot and do not want to visit your restaurant again.

This was our first time at this beer garden. The schnitzel was good, but did it have to be two large schnitzels? When we asked the waitress if adults could also order a children's schnitzel, she was very irritated and mumbled "no." The roast pork was nothing special, especially because of the gravy. It didn't taste like roast pork gravy, but rather like a ready-made gravy. The highlight of the visit was the blonde waitress. She obviously goes to hell for laughs. No friendly communication with the guests. Not just with us, but the whole time, she walked around with a totally serious, unfriendly face. Absolutely wrong with her profession! Another dark-haired waitress tried to remove the stains from a guest whose trousers were stained with a rag from the bucket intended for the tables. A little tip: fresh, hot water and a clean cloth work better. Does a boss actually notice something like this, or does he not care at all? ``` Large portions aren't everything. Please let us know if you have any questions!

We give Garlachinger Gartenstadt full marks. We have been regular guests there for a long time and stop by there regularly. We are more than satisfied with the service and the boss. Of course, the delicious food and the ambience are also important reasons why we love to stop and linger there. All in all, we can recommend the Harlaching Garden City with a clear conscience. The negative reviews are incomprehensible to us.

Four of us have been there once in the evening to play cards. Sauerbraten, cordon bleu and lumberjack steak were eaten. All dishes and side dishes were good and the portions were very large. We found the prices quoted to be reasonable - this also applies to the drinks. We sat directly in the room with the tavern. Luckily the tables weren't too close together and, although full, it wasn't too loud for conversation. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed - there could have been one more person. In addition, the ladies were friendly in principle, but with a typical Bavarian grumbling. We will definitely come back.

We were at the Harlachinger Gartenstadt Wirtshaus for the first time today and were completely satisfied. The portions are very good and the prices are just about reasonable. It tasted good and our waitress Doreen was very accommodating and nice. Thank you for the lovely evening. There is a deduction for the type of payment; only EC cards are accepted, no debit cards. In my opinion, this is no longer standard. Today almost everyone has a debit or credit card.

The food is very good, Bavarian in style. One service was very friendly, the other was very unfriendly. EC card payment is offered at the entrance, but when you get the bill it says “cash only”. This has happened again and again. And if you want a receipt, the (unfriendly) service gets really angry. A villain who thinks evil of it... Something is no longer right in this still very well attended - and therefore very noisy... - restaurant.

Incredibly stressed operation with substandard service. Constantly complaining to us about how stressful it was and how impossible the other guests were - that's not possible in our opinion. A small child is not allowed to stand up or stand in the way for a moment, then the waitress frowns - so it can't be described as family-friendly. You generally had the feeling that you had to apologize for coming in as a guest in the first place. The food wasn't great either. Once and not again. You have to be able to afford it as a relatively new innkeeper...

Spontaneous visit and there were enough free tables available, I was able to choose a free table. Unfortunately the table was not cleaned well after the previous guests. The light meat I ordered was not completely filled, the 1/4 duck was unfortunately very carelessly prepared and also very firm and dry, sauce and red cabbage without much taste. When I asked if everything was good after the meal, I gave honest feedback about the duck, which was then left uncommented by the waitress. Very unfortunate...

I'm practically a regular at Gartenstadt and always bring visitors with me who want to try authentic Bavarian cuisine. Especially in summer, it's wonderful to be able to sit in the beer garden in Gartenstadt, even if you sometimes have to wait quite a long time for your food. But it's worth it: the food is good and has been relatively cheap so far. However, the prices have now increased so often that I can only rarely afford this culinary pleasure or even want to. Example: roast pork: 3 years ago it cost 9.90 euros, now it costs 15.50 euros. That's an increase of 56 percent in 3 years. And the portions have become significantly smaller since then. Well, I still like going to Gartenstadt, but I'll rarely come now. Unfortunately. Unless the prices are reduced again to a reasonable level.

Had relatively large liver dumpling soup for €7.60. Soup was nice and warm but the liver dumplings were cold and reddish on the inside. The main course noble deer with spaetzle and red cabbage was nothing either. Red cabbage was lukewarm and tasteless to match the dry venison with tasteless sauce. Luckily I got cranberries after I asked. I counted half the plate at the table.
