We were very pleased with the service and food!

Good food, but not exactly cheap... Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't explain the dishes on offer.

Everything was perfect. The lunch menu was excellent. The service was friendly, competent, and attentive.

Amazing cheese spaetzle, the atmosphere is fantastic! Five of us arrived at short notice without a reservation and were warmly welcomed, even though it was relatively busy and practically all the tables were occupied.

It was here that I first understood on a visceral level what it means to be in Bavaria.

We waited 15 minutes for a waiter to be seated. To no avail. If you don't have enough staff or the staff is unprofessional, you should probably close down.

We spontaneously reserved a table and got a lovely spot in the courtyard. The entire staff was very friendly, and the food was truly excellent.

We arrived quite late for dinner that evening. The service was very friendly and polite, and the drinks and food were prepared quickly. The food was overall very tasty, except for the cabbage and bacon salad, which wasn't quite to our liking. Before the kitchen closed, a member of staff came to each table to remind us of this and to take any food requests. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Friendly staff, excellent food. Some of the best cheese spaetzle I've had in a long time, and excellent meat for the schnitzel. Highly recommended; especially in good weather, the beer garden is a great complement to the modern interior.

Found this place by chance near the hotel I was staying at. Amazing! Great food, friendly, welcoming and cheerful service, a relaxing and really comfortable environment, where you can spend a great time enjoying life.

Unfortunately, it was pretty chaotic. We waited almost an hour for our food. The soup we ordered was cold. The food wasn't anything special, and the portions weren't that generous. The beer and cellar beer are good, but unfortunately, they only serve Paulaner.

Nice and beautiful outdoor setting but they made me dine on a chair in the waiting room, so my experience was not the most comfortable. I still give it 3 stars and I understand that since I was alone they put me in the corner, but the environment I experienced is worthy of 2 stars The food was normal: I would not have opened the cordon blue and I did not understand how the cranberry sauce was used on the dish. I still give it 3 stars The service has a lot of room for improvement as they brought me everything together thus making the second course cold and I had to ask to keep it warm and finally the waiter wanted to force me to give a tip saying that it is mandatory in Germany. When I pointed out to him that this did not seem true to me, he responded rudely, making the situation worse. Total for 2 dishes in the photo, a side salad and a bottle of water 45.70 euros (guess what? Exactly, without tip) In short, a normal German restaurant with typical dishes cooked normally.

We spontaneously decided to come here for dinner today, got a great table in the courtyard/beer garden, and were completely satisfied with the service, the food, everything 😊 It was also one of the best roasts we've ever had in Bavaria. A big compliment, and we'll be back. Family M.

Outstanding Schweinebraten, a clear sign of a talented kitchen staff. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Be aware that it can get crowded during trade fairs.

One of the best schnitzels I’ve ever tasted — perfectly crunchy, served hot, and full of flavor. What made it even more impressive was their willingness to host our group of almost 20 people on a holiday, when most places were closed. The staff handled everything like pros — quick service, great food.

Top location, nice, modern beer garden/terrace area. Two servers were seemingly overwhelmed by the sheer number of tables and the rush to the terrace...

No gentian, even if the food is delicious, but a restaurant without gentian in Bavaria is like glasses without lenses and without frames. What kind of glasses without lenses and without frames are these?

I was here for a business lunch. I really enjoyed it. Everyone at the dinner raved about the food. Service was very quick and friendly. I'll definitely go back!

We only went for the micro brew. It was very good. Well worth the time to try it. Ots in a hotel but very nice outside seating area.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the hotel's restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the service. I would particularly like to highlight Mr. Viet Nguyen, whose friendly, attentive, and professional manner made the evening a true delight. He was always present without being intrusive and had an excellent sense of timing and hospitality. His recommendations were spot-on, and you could tell that the well-being of his guests is truly important to him. I was also warmly welcomed at the reception desk. Mr. Morez impressed me with his calm, competent, and helpful manner. Check-in went smoothly, and he was always available to answer any questions I had about my stay. A huge compliment to both gentlemen – they are an asset to the hotel and had a very positive impact on my stay. I would be happy to come back!

Excellent traditional bavarian food. I can highly recommend the mixed salad with “Back Händl”. The staff is vet service oriented and friendly. I go here every year when I attend the REConf. ;)

Absolutely recommended. We were there spontaneously, without a reservation. We were given a table straight away in a very friendly manner. The food was very, very tasty. The service was great and very nice. Our son was brought paper and pens straight away to keep himself busy. We would come back at any time.

Was here in transit in the attached hotel. The staff is very accommodating and totally on the ball, and the atmosphere is also very rustic. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre , the roast was relatively tough in comparison, the dumplings were quite hard and the bread roll was also quite tasteless. A bit of a shame, maybe just bad luck, because otherwise it was a nice stay.

The place is nice, even if it's far from the center, but the food really leaves a lot to be desired. After waiting over an hour, the pasta arrived cold, and the main courses weren't good. My salad with fried chicken was terrible. The breading tasted too much like eggs and was greenish in color; I left practically everything there.

Waited a long time for food. Spaetzle and schnitzel were cold to lukewarm. But the taste is ok. The service seemed overwhelmed and only came to the table once in 3 hours for drinks. It's a shame actually

Very good experience at this lovely restaurant. We enjoyed the schnitzel tray for two and the extra point is for Farhad the waiter who really made a difference in the service. Professional and kind to my young daughter who wasn't feeling well. I really appreciate the kindness in people when they work and give their best to the clients no matter what age!

We have been here many times but this time was not ok. The man serving us was not in a good flow. A lot of problems happened. The schnitzel was ok, but not more. The desert was terrible.

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and other guests who arrived after us got their meals before us. The salmon trout didn't look very appealing but was good and the veal schnitzel was a bit tough and consisted mostly of breading. A plus point: there was decaffeinated coffee.

Very nice cozy restaurant. We had a party of 5 and enjoyed the pork with gravy and potato dumplings. A salad with house dressing was delicious. Everything was delicious and just what we needed after a long day.

It was the perfect location, for many reasons: I saw this was the restaurant of the hotel , Welcome to the restaurant Ambience Service Food Overall feeling I can only say that next time I am visiting Munich, I will stay in the hotel , as the quality of the restaurant is a plus in the overall experience. Great, rustic atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service and very good food. The map is manageable, which is a pro for us, because less and more quality is always better than a lot of mediocre. We had Wiener Schnitzel with potato and cucumber salad and Wammerl with dumplings and sauerkraut - everything was excellent! The naturally cloudy cellar beer is recommended for beer lovers 👍

We had the schnitzel pan and were very pleased with the vegetarian polenta gnocci, which was excellently seasoned. The atmosphere is very rural and very cozy to spend a nice evening.

We had dinner in the beer garden (restaurant). The ambience was very nice and the service itself was also nice and courteous. The food was rather average and actually not of the quality you would expect. The price is rather high, the portions are okay in size, but unfortunately the taste is not that appealing. Too bad...

We came across the inn by chance and the menu spoke to us straight away! We could hardly decide and then we took the Schnitzelreindl. Dessert from the current menu was chocolate cake and apple fritters - really a dream! 🤤 From reception to service - everything was always on point and always had us in mind! The ambience and flair were also wonderful - we will have fond memories of the inn and will definitely visit again on our next visit to Munich!
