Sehr gutes Essen, Service und Bier!!!

Als wir um 21 Uhr dort waren, um uns wie alle anderen Gäste ein Bier zu holen, wollte uns die Kellnerin leider keinen Tisch geben. Wenn die Regel für alle Tische gelten würde, könnte ich es ja verstehen, aber so fand ich die Entscheidung der Kellnerin einfach unhöflich.

Leckeres Essen und schneller Service in perfekter Lage, direkt am Marienplatz.

11 € für Pommes...aber gut wer ist auch Pommes in München... das Bier naja...das Ambiente ist lustig, da sieht man menschliches Verhalten auf einem anderen Niveau. München war mal schön bis 1994...

Ein großartiges Restaurant des legendären Hacker-Pschorr Brauhauses. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Das Bier kommt direkt aus dem Fass und wird wie in alten Zeiten in Eisräumen gekühlt!

Dragos war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Hat uns echt gute Tipps gegeben auf der Speisekarte, war ein sehr lustiger Abend!!

6,90 Euronen für ein Paulaner-Helles! Gegenüber, beim Stiftl-Stehausschank, kostet die Halbe (Augustiner!) 3,90. Respekt...

Sehr leckere Käsespätzle und das Backhendl war super gut! Dafür kommen wir wieder. Der Kaiserschmarrn war lecker, ist aber eher etwas für den süßen Zahn, sehr sehr viel karamellisierter Zucker mit Mandeln, was man aus der Pfanne kaum abkratzen kann & was sehr am Zahn klebt 😁

Ich war total begeistert von diesem Lokal! 😍 Das Essen war unglaublich – der Räucherkohl war etwas ganz Besonderes und die Würstchen einfach hervorragend. Alles schmeckte authentisch und war perfekt zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, und der Service war von Anfang bis Ende erstklassig. Wenn ihr in München seid, ist dieses Lokal in der Nähe des Marienplatzes definitiv ein Muss. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! 🍻

Das Hacker-Pschorr in München bietet genau das, was man sich von einem klassischen Wirtshaus in der Innenstadt erwartet: eine gemütliche, bayerische Atmosphäre, hervorragendes Bier und solide, deftige Küche. Schon beim Eintreten fällt die freundliche Begrüßung auf, und trotz des häufig großen Andrangs wirkt der Service gut organisiert und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte konzentriert sich auf bayerische Klassiker – von Schweinsbraten über Haxe bis hin zu Brotzeitbrett und Obazda – in ordentlichen Portionen und qualitativ überzeugend. Besonders das frisch gezapfte Hacker-Pschorr-Bier passt perfekt zu den herzhaften Gerichten und ist allein schon einen Besuch wert. Die Lage mitten in München macht das Lokal ideal für einen Einkehrschwung nach einem Stadtbummel oder als Treffpunkt mit Freunden und Kolleginnen. Die Preise bewegen sich auf dem üblichen Münchner Niveau, sind angesichts der Lage, Portionen und Qualität aber in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswerter Ort, um bayerische Wirtshauskultur und gutes Bier in authentischer Umgebung zu genießen.

Die Grillwürstchen waren köstlich. Ich komme gerne wieder und probiere andere Gerichte. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit.

Ein fantastischer Ort in zentraler Lage mit Blick auf den Marienplatz. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Essen hervorragend. Die Kartoffelsuppe und die Spätzle mit Käse und Zwiebeln sind unbedingt zu empfehlen. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Das war das schlechteste Restaurant, in dem ich je war, nicht nur in Europa, sondern überhaupt. Ich verstehe ja, dass es Abendessenszeit war und es voll war, sodass man nicht nur Bier bestellen konnte, aber … Ich war total genervt, als ich sah, wie das Personal das ältere Paar am Nebentisch anschrie, weil sie ihre Teller nicht abgeräumt hatten. Die Currywurst war einfach nur furchtbar salzig … Meine Zunge tut weh. Nur drei Gehminuten entfernt, neben der Frauenkirche, gibt es ein viel freundlicheres und leckereres Restaurant. Bitte, bitte, geht dorthin! Das war nicht nur das schlechteste Restaurant in Europa, sondern das schlechteste, das ich je besucht habe. Ich verstehe ja widerwillig, dass man wegen des Abendessens und des großen Andrangs nicht nur Bier bestellen konnte – aber trotzdem. Was ich absolut nicht ertragen konnte, war, mitanzusehen, wie das Personal ein älteres Ehepaar anschrie, weil es schmutzige Teller von einem nicht abgeräumten Nachbartisch auf einen anderen Tisch gestellt hatte, nur weil dieser nicht abgeräumt worden war. Die Currywurst war unglaublich versalzen – so sehr, dass mir die Zunge weh tat. Wenn Sie nur drei Minuten in Richtung Frauenkirche laufen, finden Sie ein viel freundlicheres Lokal, in dem das Essen wirklich besser schmeckt. Bitte gehen Sie dorthin. Ehrlich – bitte.

Ein hervorragender Ort für großartiges Bier, leckeres Essen und erstklassigen Service! Sauber, ordentlich, das Essen wurde heiß und schnell serviert, und das Bier war kalt.

Ich habe kürzlich hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Schnitzel und das Bier waren wirklich fantastisch. Wir haben auch Kartoffelknödel probiert, die ebenfalls sehr lecker waren. Ein absolutes Muss in München!

Well, its a tourist trap, what else? Food is mediocre at best, prices are high and service takes years to come. I wouldn’t come here if you had any other options. ( the reason I was here is because a friend only eats chicken and the had chicken schnitzel)

The service was very friendly, but the duck was unfortunately bone dry (you could even see that from the outside). Despite pointing it out, the full price was charged and no compensation was offered, which was a shame for the customer.

The atmosphere was awful. We didn't get a seat because we only wanted a bite to eat with our beer, even though a small table became available. The waitress said that wasn't enough. Whatever the context. Never again.

I didn’t engage with the food offerings on this visit, but we did order two beers. They were delicious. Our server was very friendly, and you really can’t beat the atmosphere—right in the middle of Marienplatz with the Glockenspiel in view. I highly recommend stopping here.

The goulash soup was delicious but the prices are way inflated due to you being in Marienplatz. For example a aperol spritz costs 7.50 most other places but 13.50 here... you are paying for the location and viewing the Glockenspiel

Luana was very friendly and attentive, the food came quickly and was good. Roster pork was well cooked and crispy. We took a picture with me, because of the Bavarian clothes.

We went here for the "Essklasse" (dining class), but it was unfortunately disappointing. It was a cheaply put-together menu, lacking in refinement. The third course consisted of a small bowl of dry, coconut-flavored rice with some lamb's lettuce—that was it, and it was VERY dry. We go to the "Essklasse" regularly and have also been to other Asian restaurants there, and it can be different. It's a shame, and not a good advertisement for the restaurant. So, we definitely won't be coming here again.

They cheat with the weekly menu, we looked on Wednesday, my wife liked their offer for Friday - a fish dish, I wanted goulash soup, but at lunchtime on Friday they refused to provide us with this menu, and even started yelling that it was not available! We went specially, in the rain, wasted time... Shame! Then this nonsense with tokens - you are a beer restaurant, this implies an accessible toilet. The first time I asked about the toilet they told me - paid, until my wife walked by with a paid bill. I do not recommend this place, except to grab a glass of beer with a view of the shabby wall of the new town hall)

Great location, but the chairs are a disgrace: The steel backrest presses painfully into your back, making sitting almost impossible. In comparison, even the cheapest garden chair from OBI looks like a mini wellness oasis. Apparently, they want you to quickly make room for the next guests. Embarrassing and sad.

Cash only here. Unbelievably, as I was paying, the waiter gave me less change at all and asked me to tip the rest. I told him I didn't want a tip and he gave me one 0.1 euro coin and ten 0.05 euro coins without saying anything. I got 11 coins as a gift from this cafe.

A cult restaurant. If you like Bavarian dishes, you're in the right place. :)

I went to go eat here. I had to use the bathroom first. Was told I cannot go without having cash to pay a tip, they do not accept card. If you are going to contract out your toilet cleaning to a third party company, at least move into the year 2000. Toilets are a human right, not whether you carry coins on you. Money is money, if you must charge for this right, firstly you will lose customers (me. I left without dining here with my friends), and secondly these people you employ clearly need to get paid, if you cannot subsidise their income with your high prices and tips for the food, then at least ensure they have to ability to be paid by using card. If they do not need this salary, then why have them sit there?

Poor quality food, The meat was stringy and the pizza tasted like it came from a supermarket. The waiter was the only positive thing. The quality/price ratio is absurd, absolutely avoid it!!!!

Just here to grab a cup of beer. But we met a rude server. We asked him whether we could sit parallel under the canopy to avoid rain. He said, "No, it's for four people." Most of the seats were empty then. Later, when rain fell, he let every German sit parallel and seemed to tell them to avoid drops. I was a little angry and told my hubby about it in my language. He noticed that I was feeling so, and he said, "You can switch seats so your hubby and you can share the raindrop." The server must be more educated. Don't go there. You'll be discriminated against. LOL, especially by the friendly "Baki." He said no when I wanted to sit under the canopy because it was raining, but the other Germans allowed me to. LOL

Terrible service. You can't sit down and have a beer, dessert, and enjoy the view. You can only sit down if you're going to order something larger. Otherwise, they literally tell you to go to another restaurant.

Top location! The cellarman, Krasniqi, is super friendly and the beer is delicious, too. I'd love to come back.

Poor Service and very expensive

Absolutely terrible service. We sat down at an empty table with no one waiting, and instead of greeting us or offering any help, the waiter told us we had to move — then just walked away without giving any alternative. Completely unprofessional and rude. Would never come back!!!

The place is really central, right in Marienplatz, perfect for enjoying a beer and watching the world go by. However, you can't just sit at a table. First, the waiter asks if we're going to eat. We didn't say we weren't going to eat, but he looked like he'd say there was no room if we did. We ordered two beers and a schnitzel. The schnitzel was truly awful. It looked like it had been reheated. The fries were okay. The prices were exactly as stated on the menu. I told the waiter that the food was terrible and we couldn't eat it. It didn't reflect any character. Overall, it was terrible. I wouldn't go back.

When I tried to pay, they said they didn't accept cash and told me to pay by card, so I paid 46.6 euros, but I ended up paying 54 euros. They said it's customary to tip 9 percent in Germany, and that it comes out automatically from the machine. Don't ever go there.

We were in Munich for the first time yesterday. We were looking for a place to sit down and drink German beer. There were a couple of tables free, a very pleasant friendly atmosphere. We ordered two glasses of Waißbier and nachos. The waiter Taras always came at the right moment and kindly served us, quickly brought the order, many thanks! The beer is very tasty, thanks to the establishment for the pleasant emotions!

Deceiving pictures on the menu. Avoid the fish and chips. It is definitely frozen food. A shame given the location.

We were seated at a table, and another waiter came to us, speaking only German. We made an effort to say the few words we knew. He raised his voice, still in German, even though we asked him to repeat in English. He aggressively ordered us to move. Aside from the long service time, he slammed the bill on the table, still in German, making it clear that we had to pay. €11.80 for two Cokes, €9.92 + 19% VAT, unheard of. Furthermore, after giving him €12, he left. I had to go find him and be assaulted to get my change back. 20 cents isn't much, but given the way he treated me, it was already too much. Run away from this establishment.

Even one star is still two stars too many. We didn't want to eat anything, just drinks, and a "reserved" sign was immediately placed on the table in front of us. No other table was offered. Friendly, customer-oriented service is simply not possible.

I got my roast pork with no gravy. I found the mini dumplings to be a provocation on the part of the kitchen! I give an additional star for the town hall glockenspiel, which started promptly at 5 p.m. for my first mass of beer, and an extra star for the beer itself.

I'm surprised that the overall rating for this restaurant is so low. There was neither the desire nor the time to look for a restaurant, we went to this one since it was in the center. The prices are a little more expensive purely because of the localization, but the food is delicious, we ate €90 worth of food for three people plus beer, we ate our fill and overall it was very tasty. The service is very pleasant and positive, the food is prepared very quickly. I can’t say that this restaurant incredibly surprised me in any way, but the service was at a high level, and that was what I expected!

Beautiful Brauhaus on the edge of Marienplatz. Pretty quiet too. The beer is fine. The furnishings are stylish and neat. Too bad the service is not always friendly. The hospitality could really be improved and would make it a top tent.

We stopped in for a light dinner and beer since this place was close to our hotel. We shared the farmer’s sausage platter, and had a dunkel and a hefeweisen. Our waitress was working hard to keep up with the dinner crowd, but she did a good job keeping up with the dinner wave. We found both the food and beer tasty. Due to the location on Marienplatz I’m sure this place is nearly always busy, but we had a very pleasant experience.

Watch out, tourist trap; for 2 potato dishes, the note is salty. Go your way.

I was there a couple of years ago during the Oktoberfest, a friend wanted to order a half-liter jug ​​instead of the 1-liter one and the waiter refused saying "It's Oktoberfest" and in the end he didn't put anything in it. Since we ate white sausage, roast pork, roast ox, pork schnitzel, pork knuckle, venison ragout and apple strudel (on different days) at Donisl, I dare say that we can judge the good quality of the food. But from the beginning: upon our first entry into the house and the great reception, we chose the Hacker-Pschorr Donisl as our favorite bar for the 5 days that we stayed in Munich (the first time!). The Bavarian food was a pleasure, especially if you are Bavarian by birth and now live abroad (Netherlands), it is wonderful to be able to taste the cuisine of your childhood again! The ambience was Bavarian, as it should be, but with wonderfully opulent hop garlands! The atmosphere was topped by the service: friendly, quick, you feel valued, which is certainly related to Olli's personality, who is close to his guests with his natural, always smiling manner, his knowledge of Bavarian customs and his professionalism and " “has the store under control”! Thank you for the wonderful days, to which the Hacker-Pschorr in Munich contributed a lot! Gaby and Boris.

33€ for an average Schnitzel and 7€ for beer !??? No way !! You’ll eat better for half price in any other restaurant in Munich. It’s extremely overpriced! Tourist Trap !

A great and clean location. Very nice staff. The food comes very quickly, but unfortunately it tastes very bad. If you want to drink a few beers, you can stop here and have a fun evening with entertainment. However, a total flop when it comes to eating.

We spontaneously chose this place to sit in the evening during our Munich holiday, but first they removed the table we were sitting at, saying it was reserved, but the people sitting left without ordering. Don’t listen to the bad reviews from stuck up and ungrateful tourists. This is one of the nicest places to sit down have a quick bite and a refreshing Hacker-Pschorr. The tourists leaving bad reviews expecting a 5 star restaurant are just vile. This is a BEER garden for drinking, not fancy dining the food is just a bonus people don’t get that. The seating is incredible with great views of Marienplatz. The server Alex went above and beyond and even gave me a free Hacker-Pschorr pin to add to my collection! 5/5 would recommend to anyone for a quick BEER and maybe a bite and enjoy the vibe of the city center.

Very fluffy and tasty Kaiserschmarrn. However, prices for drinks and dishes are overpriced. Still a nice view of the cathedral and very cozy in the evening.
