We arrived without a reservation with a party of 9, and the host was so gracious to ask another couple to move so there was room for our large party. The interior and exterior was so charming, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As tourists, we really appreciated the recommendations, and really enjoyed the experience. My children really enjoyed the schnitzel, and my father had the beef. All of our food was fantastic and the service was amazing. They were so kind! We tried the apple rings, strudel and churros for dessert. The apple rings were SO good- they were our favorite!! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We should have left immediately after the answer that everyone smokes here. Are you an unwelcome guest as a non-smoker? We then looked for a table away from the table. This was not cleaned, my request for it was fulfilled. We both ordered schnitzel. To charge 15€ for 2 mega thin schnitzels, which were unfortunately very tasteless, and another 4.50€ for the side dish... For me it was completely excessive and unfortunately it wasn't good either. Price and performance do not match. The location is nice, but the overall package doesn't fit.

Hole in the wall. Had traditional Sunday dinner of pork, potatoes, and crackling. Amazing. Service was fantastic. There is no English menu, but it didn't matter as the server took great care of us and translated. Will be back when visiting Munich.

Very nice service, we were warmly welcomed. The food was super tasty. When I come back to Munich, I will visit the garden oasis again.

The garden oasis is not noticeable from the outside, but we received a warm and very friendly welcome. Mira, who hosted us, is super personable. We felt we were in good hands. The food was delicious, and the Kaiserschmarrn was the best we've ever had. We can definitely recommend the garden oasis!

We were in the garden oasis on a cold Sunday, the indoor climate was well heated, we ate well and the service was really excellent. They brought us a great high chair and a box full of games for our 1.5 year old daughter. The schnitzel was delicious and the crusty roast was very tender. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

We found it very nice in the garden oasis. The nice person in service was super attentive, the food was absolutely delicious (again a warm greeting to the kitchen and a thousand thanks for implementing my special requests), we would definitely like to come back!

Outrageously expensive! Landlady thinks the very last thing is that she has a restaurant in the city center. Never again would you prefer the Garden Canteen No 26!!

It has become outrageously expensive, pork schnitzel without a side dish for 15.50 euros. Side dish e.g. salad in mini version priced at 5.00 euros extra. It's just a gardening business and not the beetle!!! The service (boss) was always in a bad mood and unfriendly. Not recommended.

Food was a 10/10 and the service was great too, just a nice older restaurant in the middle of Munich. Highly recommended!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. For real this place is a tourist trap. They charge 2€ for a glass of tap water. They bring you thing you did not order. The snitchel is dry and all the meat was chewy and overcooked.

We were passing through from Wuppertal and discovered this restaurant on Google. Since it was within walking distance of the hotel, we wanted to test it out. The food was very, very good. We had crusty roast with dumplings and schnitzel. It was very very tasty. Service was very nice and there was still time for a conversation at the end. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat here again. The atmosphere is very rustic and rather simple. For us it was exactly the right thing and exactly what we wanted. Great evening with great food and delicious drinks. Absolutely top price for the quality on offer there.

Yes, I can recommend the restaurant. Food very tasty, friendly staff and quick service. Very clean. A bit hidden in the gardens but definitely worth a visit. In summer you can also sit outside. We were here in the summer about 2.5 years ago.

The schnitzel tasted very good, and the food overall was really tasty. The only, but unfortunately significant, disadvantage was the long waiting time - I waited over an hour. We arrived today from the Ruhr area and were looking for something to eat and found the GartenOase. We were really surprised at the fresh food we got, it tasted really delicious. The boss/cook came personally to tell us that a dish was no longer there. Is only recommended.

Service is slow, food is ok, but friendliness also means smiling sometimes. I felt uncomfortable about it. Prices for Munich are cheap.

We came across this establishment by chance and were not disappointed. Warm, typically Bavarian welcome and service. Nice garden to sit and relax. Well hidden yet found. We stopped here in search of a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. An idyllic beer garden atmosphere - cozy under large chestnut trees. The service is very nice and incredibly friendly. We quickly found what we were looking for - the menu has something delicious for everyone...whether it's meat, fish, salad or just a sweet little something. Everything at fair prices. To top it all off, there was the Kaiserschmarrn & woah... a poem. Fluffy, sweet & absolutely recommended. It wasn't the last time we were here. So beautiful.

After changing the tenant, things have gotten really good, previously there were many things on the menu that weren't available (coffee machine already cleaned, etc.). An unexpectedly quiet beer garden between allotment gardens. Leopoldstrasse is less than 100m away, but you can't hear it

Great food and unbeatable prices

Everything was just right here: great beer garden, friendly service, delicious food and all at great prices! Unfortunately, I was far too hungry to take a photo of the delicious grilled pork medallion with spaetzle and mushroom sauce, but it tasted fantastic 😋 If I'm in Munich again, I'll be happy to come back, and until then I'd like to say: I've had the honor and thank you very much!

A big thank you to the boss Mira. We ate delicious, fresh and typically Bavarian food and watched football outside. The portions are large and the selection makes it difficult to choose what to eat. And there was also a schnapps. We'd love to come back!

Food (we ordered 2 types of Schweineschnitzel and a Putenschnitzel) was great. Prices are impressive compared to other restaurants/Biergarten. Service was ok eventhough it was rush hours and there were lot of customers due to a football match. There were TV screens for customers seated inside and outside. It is better to book directly by calling the restaurant (there was some problem on online booking that we did via link in google map, there wasn't any table that was reserved for us). Luckily we got a table inside the restaurant that wasn't occupied.

Beautiful hidden local garden restaurant with amazing food and service it's a great place to meet some locals and enjoy local cuisine. Come here to watch football games and meet some interesting people. Dont Miss out on their food!

We ordered 2 steaks, beer, juice and strudel with cappuccino for dessert. They paid 70 € for it. Delicious steaks, great potatoes. The strudel is simply gorgeous, special thanks to the chef who stayed after the kitchen closed to prepare it!

With such unfriendly and disrespectful service, never look in again.

I ordered young bull sirloin steak medium There is baked potato as a side dish. Herb butter and garlic bread. It was really tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere in the garden is pleasant and calm, there is lots of greenery and chirping birds. The service was friendly and unobtrusive.

Found the restaurant on google, started going there. Began to doubt that there would even be a restaurant there among the tenements. Coming to a gate where there is a sign for the restaurant. Enter and follow a narrow dirt road between bushes. A bit of a labyrinth feeling. Arrives and goes in and is met by a very nice waitress. The menu was only in German, but we still only wanted schnitzel, and schnitzel was available in many different flavors. I had a horseradish and mustard schnitzel and the son had a cheese schnitzel. Very good. We felt like we got our German snichtzel😊

What a wonderful place! It's great that something like this still exists in Munich! The garden oasis is located between allotments and the interior has the feel of a living room. The outside area is also really nice, as there is no road in sight anywhere. The food is really amazing. Fresh, great portions for a totally fair price. Many vegetarian variants. The homemade cheesecake is a must! Super friendly service. It has already become our favorite bar after work. Keep it up!
