Excellent food, very good service.

I went based on the opinions and reviews of other customers and of course it did not disappoint. We ordered their specialty schnitzel...huge, delicious and good price. I recommend it 💯!!

What a schnitzel. Bigger than my head. Plan to share due to size. You may have to wait, but they will do their best to find you a table quickly. The only drawback is that it is noisy. Come for the food, not the conversation. PS. just had the smashed pancake. Food coma time.

Small little restaurant, kind of cramped. However, we got there at the right time to not wait outside. The spicy schnitzel was absolutely delicious, and I was very glad I got the cranberry jam to go with it. My wife had the pumpkin soup and she loved it as well, “that thing was fire”. Definitely recommend to get there sooner rather than later, so you’re not waiting outside for a table to open up. Also, Andy’s was cash only when we were there. There is an ATM a 5 minute walk away, if they are cash only all the time.

There are many choices of beer, I like the bitter ones, and I got what I wanted. The steak is huge, the apple pie is classic, and the fried cheese is like fried tofu, but it’s great, especially in winter, it’s absolutely heart-warming.

The biggest portion sizes I have ever seen in Germany. Absolutely delicious. Restaurant was extremely busy and our server was handling so many tables with ease. Will definitely be back.

Felt like an old school, mom and pop restaurant. We were lucky enough to get in before the dinner rush on a Monday night but seemed like a queue of 8-10 people before seating and 14+ when leaving. Food portion of schnitzel is massive and mushroom cream sauce is delicious (try dipping French fries in it). This place gets pretty busy so service can be quick and to the point.

Their sinitzel is made of turkey meat, not chicken. That's why it's not as delicious as chicken. The service is normal. The atmosphere and place are ordinary. There are many of these places everywhere in Germany. They don't have anything special. If you pass by, stop by, but it's not worth changing your route.

Very good food at reasonable prices for Munich, very nice staff. The interior design could still be improved, but that is easily outweighed by the food and the friendliness of the staff. We'll be back soon, there's still a lot on the menu that I want to try!

Great food and great people, I would recommend to reserve a table, we were lucky and waited only 10 min for a table for 2, bigger groups longer wait time , but it is worth to wait. Reasonable prices

Food is great. Schnitzel portions are very generous. Lots of different varieties to try. Pricing is very reasonable. They can get busy, with a line outside door, but it gives fairly quickly. The service inside is fast. We go there once or twice every time we're in town. I think Schnitzel accounts for 80% of what people order, but the spaetzle is also quite good. we also tried their goulash this time and it was very good. Keep in mind they only take cash.

Huge and crisp food. Wonderfully cooked. Try fussili or potato chips as a side options. Both are yummy and plenty. You dont have to order more sides. I shared one with my 9-year old girl and it was more than enough. I overeated because of the juicy taste of it. Barbarian sweet sauce seemed a little sweet for my child(she said so..) By the way, beer was kinda plain to me. You better visit there early, or you 'll end up in a long line.

This is a restaurant in the center of the city, famous for its Shinitzel. The atmosphere is very good. While we were here in freezing weather, a warm environment felt good. We started with the famous pumpkin soup, it was great.. Then came the Shinitzels.. If you are 2 people, 1 plate will be more than enough because the portions are very large.. There is no question about its taste❤️

This is where you go to get your fill, to really get your fill. And with many dishes this works even if you share it between two people. They are huge portions. And still quite cheap. And this is where the real problem arises that I have with the crawler garden. The quality is pretty average. Schnitzel is so much better in so many restaurants in Munich that I no longer go there.

Food was super tasty. The next time you visit, you should reserve a seat because the people after us had to wait outside to get a seat.

Top giant schnitzel, you can almost share one between two! But who wants to share?

We are a couple with a baby stroller and we were waiting patiently in the queue outside in the cold , until the waiter approached us and told us that there is no space due to the baby stroller. The next clients after us, went in and got a seat. We decided to visit Munich because we thought it would be a kids friendly destination and unfortunately it is exactly the opposite! So we would rate with a zero for the unfriendly and rude attitude towards the tourists and especially the kids.

🐓 and 🐖 schnitzels are favorites. Portions are huge. If there are three of you, it makes sense to say 2 portions. Pork wrap was also quite nice. There is always a queue at the entrance of the place. We waited approximately 20-25 minutes. The balance of taste and price was quite satisfactory

I was with a companion at Andy's Krablergarten in Munich and we were satisfied! I had 1/4 duck with red cabbage and dumplings - simply delicious! The meat was tender and the side dishes were perfectly seasoned. My companion had a schnitzel, and I have to say: the schnitzels here are really huge and available in all kinds of variations - a real highlight! The service was fine. A note for everyone: You can only pay with cash here, so you should keep that in mind. We'll be back!

It's a good place and food. One bad thing is only cash, no card. Nowadays most visitors doesn't have a cash. If here can pay card, people will eat more.

Very good restaurant with probably the biggest and best schnitzels in the city. The quality of the schnitzels is good and the portion is unique. The waiters are also relatively quick, which is probably due to the fact that they hope to have a lot of guests here. Overall, I am satisfied with my previous restaurant visits here. The restaurants in Munich city center are often an insider tip.

Such a cool, small, restaurant. The schnitzel and apple strudel were some of the best we ate during our stay in Munich. The portions everywhere are HUGE so sharing may be the way to go if your aren't starving. We also enjoyed the draft beer and the atmosphere! The beer is cash only! The price is very reasonable. 10/10 recommend!

It has always been our go-to place for Schitzel and we always brought friends from overseas here. The flavours are amazing and the portion size is huge! Sadly, we noticed during our last visit that the prices went up and the portion sizes went down. Of course, this is understandable, but we would have preferred to have the price increased an extra bit more to keep the massive size of last year, with the Schnitzel hanging off and covering the whole plate, as that was always been the main wow-factor for us and foreign friends!

A well-known establishment near the Sendling Gate metro station. They specialize in schnitzels and cordon bleu. The variety of these dishes can make you feel confused; it’s so unusual to see 10 variations of this seemingly simple recipe at once. The menu also includes a classic selection of Bavarian and German cuisine. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and immediately found a place. There weren't too many people, although during the tourist season there may be queues at the entrance. We took schnitzels with mushroom sauce and Hamburg style (with scrambled eggs) with potato salad. The dishes arrived quite quickly. The portions are really huge. For 19 € you can eat too much; you could hardly finish your schnitzel. Many people take part of the dish with them. In principle, you can take one schnitzel for two. The taste is quite normal, nothing fantastic, but very good quality and good quality. The staff provides good service, but I had to ask for the bill twice. They only accept cash, so be prepared for that.

If you are a fan breaded pork or schitzel. I would suggest you to come over here and try their schnitzel specialty.

I got the schnitzel with cheese. It was a very big portion, even for 2 people, it cost 19€ with side products. The side product can be fries or potato salad. Coke 4.2 € (07.11.2024) The price is reasonable for this portion, but I don't think it's the best schnitzel in the world.

The food in this restaurant is really fantastic! The dishes are excellently prepared, full of flavor and made with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately the experience is marred by the service. The employees seem distant and not very friendly, which makes the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. It's a shame, because the food alone really deserves top marks.

Came with 8t on a Monday evening. Got a table straight away. Most of them ate schnitzel. Huge portions and everyone was thrilled. Two of us had the venison goulash, what a dream. The meat was so tender and melted in your mouth.

The schnitzel marinated in horseradish was amazing. Absolutly wonderful flavor and crunchy breading. It filled a very large plate. The spaetzle was perfect. The wait staff was attentive and spoke excellent English. The only caution is that they require cash. No credit cards. I had to keep eating long after I was full. It was that good!

Our tour guide recommended this place so here we are! Cash only, no credit cards accepted per sign on door. Excellent schnitzel in ginormous sizes big enough to share. Grilled trout was also delicious. Our tour guide was right, it is an excellent place for a bite to eat. Our server was kind enough to speak to us in English which we greatly appreciated.

This place definitely lived up to expectations! We were done with our major sightseeing for the day so we decided to Uber to the restaurant and arrived about 3:30 pm on a Sunday. We were immediately seated. However, by the time we left the restaurant a queue was starting to form and it seemed like if you arrived more like 5:00 or 6:00 pm you would definitely have to wait. I had the cordon bleu with the sweet mustard inside and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly and so hard not to overeat. And it came with fries/chips and a small salad. I thought the salad was somewhat humorous. At least they try to make it seem like a healthy meal... But they have a decent sized menu with lots of options. You don't have to eat a huge schnitzel if you don't want to. Also, I noticed that some people were having their uneaten portion wrapped up. Which I appreciate because the idea of taking the rest of your meal home isn't really typical in European restaurants. Since we were tourists staying at a hotel with no way to reheat anything, we unfortunately weren't table to take any leftovers. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. The ambience is lacking a bit... but that's okay. I don't expect amazing ambience at a touristy schnitzel restaurant.

We ordered a spicy schnitzel and a balkan schnitzel. The waitress unfortunately mixed the plates and we ended up mixing the types of meats (pork and turkey). That could have a been a real issue for someone who does not eat pork. The spicy schnitzel was not very flavourful, with one side being extremely spicy and the other being a good, normal spice level. The balkan schnitzel was quite bland. We were really disappointed as we had some previous really good experiences, but alas, today was quite bad.

We had to wait in front of the restaurant with a few other guests for a free table... the service is very fast and friendly, the food is delicious. I have to deduct a star from the ambience because it was very loud on our evening. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went here because of the reviews and waited half an hour at the door but the food was really bad. We had Käsespätzle and Goulash. It was the worst Käsespätzle I have ever had in Germany. Although the Goulash plate was huge, we could count the pieces of meat inside and it was a very funny sight. I don't understand why anyone gave this place these scores but I think that either the reviews are fake or the people who go there only eat schnitzel. I really regret paying 25-30 euros per person for such a meal. However, the service was OK.

Big portions, nice turkey cordon blue (especially the mozzarella-pesto). Usually there is a queue when the backyard is closed, as there are only a few tables inside. They can be more friendly to the customers.

Food without a quality of service is equals to a very bad experience. Unfortunately i had a very bad experience today. After i orderwd my Schnitzel, by coincidence i saw on google reviews people saying that we can only pay by cash. So i asked the waiter if this is true and he said yes and its written on a paper on the door. I told him where? I habent seen it. He told me at the door. I went out and ofcourse i would never see it. Anyway, i found out i only have 20 something euros in cash so i asked him if we can cancel one plate of the two so i can pay in cash he said no its already in the process and we cant cancel. I told him but i cant withdraw cash from any atm because my card doesnt allow that he said its not my problem you should pay by cash and i dont have any other solution. I told him ok i have 50 us dollars so i can pay them and the rest in euros. He told us okay but you will have to pay us also the 20 euros which makes a total of 64 euros and our bill was 46 euros and he said thats because we are doing you a favor. Moral of the story, you guys should treat your customers better than this because this way you’d make us feel unwelcomed and would not ever recommend this place to anyone!

Got caught in the “good review” selection when going to this restaurant. There was more than 30 min queue that we thought was worth waiting since the reviews were so good but it wasn’t like that unfortunately. The food wasn’t good, both schnitzels we asked were massive and the breadcrumbs were detaching from the meat as it was so oily. Though the look was good they were also very thick and not as expected as it wasn’t exactly tender. The ones we asked didn’t even taste like meat but just the condiments used before frying. The fries weren’t made in house but those store bought you can eat everywhere. The prices weren’t cheap either and the waitress didn’t even told us that just one portion could serve 3 people so we ended up throwing a lot of food away unfortunately. We might have caught a bad meal in a bunch of good ones but that was our experience there. Hope it helps anyone.

Restaurant that we went to try because I saw it on YouTube recommended by a girl who did Erasmus in Münich and recommended the Schnitzler, typical of Münich, it is a Milanese whose only difference is that the Milanese is fried in oil and the Schnitzler in butter. They have more food on the menu but the specialty is this and it has about ten varieties depending on the sauce that accompanies it, we ordered one with mushroom sauce and a salad since they are quite large, in fact many people took what they didn't eat in a albal that they gave him in the restaurant. Almost everyone ate Schnitzler and they were young people and many spoke Spanish. We went for dinner the night before but there was a line and we decided to go to a burger place across the street for dinner. The day we ate we also had to wait in line for about 20/25 minutes. The Schnitzler is good but it tastes the same as the Milanese from Spain. It has a good terrace at the back with a capacity almost 2 times that of the restaurant. I recommend visiting it. The price of the Schnitzler is 20 euros.

The restaurant is already very well known, so you have to put up with the long queue. If there are two of you, it will go faster. The portions are really big and definitely inexpensive. Because of the overload, the service is stressful. I had the schnitzel with sweet mustard (the Bavarian schnitzel), and it was really tasty. Turkey schnitzel is generally softer than pork schnitzel.
