Obwohl wir „spät dran waren“ wurden wir freundlich empfangen und um schnelle Bestellung gebeten. Sowohl das Fleisch- als auch das Fischgericht waren hervorragend und sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service sehr gut und freundlich, obwohl wir kurz vor knapp ins Restaurant kamen - herzlichen Dank für einen schönen Abend, der vom Leuchtfeuer fast ruiniert worden wäre.

We had the fish platter by the sea for two people with various fish fillets and shrimps, along with Mediterranean vegetables, spinach and two kinds of potatoes. The restaurant impresses with creative cuisine of the highest standard. Particularly noteworthy is the current pike perch with chanterelles, a real taste explosion! The combination of flavors and fresh preparation make every dish a culinary experience. The service is excellent – ​​attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. Danger! Very dangerous Schafer plastic part caught in the ice in my child's mouth! Hairy looking thing (about 6-7cm long) caught in my soup. (Everything photographed. Invoice available.) Me and my family came here for dinner today. (My husband. Me. My two children. Son 14/Daughter 9) I got my chanterelle soup. After eating two spoonfuls of soup, I saw a long black one (looked like hair, about 5-6 cm long.) in the soup. I immediately told a lady, she took the soup back to the kitchen, but returned after 8-10 minutes and told me it was just mushrooms, but chanterelles are brown, not black, right? The lady broke the hair in her hand and offered me another soup. But later we had an even worse experience because of my child's ice cream. PS: The main menu/main dish took a very, very, very long time. Nobody came to us for a very long time. Approximately 35-45 minutes. For dessert, my 14 year old son ordered 2 scoops of ice cream. Mango and lemon flavor. My daughter also 2, raspberries and chocolate. (The children's menu said 1 euro per ball but the waitress told me it was 1.5 euros each for chocolate and vanilla varieties for children. But for other varieties it was 2 euros each.) Almost at the end of eating ice cream, my son spit out a very sharp/edgy piece of plastic in his mouth. This appears to be part of the ice cream packaging. Very dangerous! It could cut your tongue or throat!!! We reported this second problem, the lady apologized in a very relaxed manner (while looking at the bill), returned after 10-15 minutes and said we didn't have to pay for ice cream. That was the excuse! (Also, they canceled my daughter's 3.5 euro bill instead of my son's 4 euro bill.) So for such dangerous cases, no upper manager even came to us to apologize or explain why such a great looking restaurant offers such low service and unhygienic food with hair and sharp plastic items??? Only 3.5€ ice cream bill canceled because of your mistake, which could endanger my child's life with the plastic sheep part??? INSURANCE!!! Plus, my fish pan has 3 small fish in it with 2 peppers and 1 carrot slice. 26€. Outrageous price. All guests, for your safety and great restaurant experience, avoid this restaurant!

Sorry, nie wieder! Essen unhygienisch. Sogar gefährlich! Service sehr langsam!! Preis Unverschämt teuer!!! Ich habe meine Familie eingeladen hier zum Abendessen. (Mein Mann. Ich. Meine zwei Kinder. 14/9) Ich habe meine Pfifferlingesuppe bekommen. Nach zwei Löffeln Suppe gegessen, (Sehr sehr salzig), habe ich ein schwarzes langes (Sah wie Haar aus) in die Suppe gesehen. Sofort habe ich bei einer Dame gesagt, sie nahm die Suppe zurück zu der Küche, kehrte aber nach 8-10 Minuten zurück, hat mir gesagt das war nur was aus den Pilze, aber Pfifferlinge sind doch braun nicht schwarz oder? Die Dame hat das Haar in die Hand gerissen und hat mir eine andere Suppe angeboten. Naja, dachte ich okay, Pech gehabt. Das Essen dauert sehr sehr sehr lange. Für Nachtisch hat mein 14 Jähriger Sohn 2 Eiskugeln bestellt. Mango und Zitrone. Meine Tochter auch 2, Himbeeren und Schoko. Fast am Ende des eisessens, hat mein Sohn vom Mund ein sehr spitzig/kantiges Plastikteil ausgespuckt. Das scheint ein Teil von dem Eis Verpackung zu sein. Sehr gefährlich! Wir haben das zweite Problem gemeldet, die Dame hat ganz kurz entschuldigt, kehrte nach 10-15 Minuten zurück, sagte ein Eis mussten wir nicht zahlen. (Außerdem, die haben meine Tochter 3,5 Euro Rechnung gestrichen anstatt mein Sohns 4 Euro Rechnung ) Plus, meine Fischpfanne hat 3 stk kleine Fische drin mit 2 stk Paprika 1 Karotten Scheibe. 26€. Unverschämter Preis. Erst mal hier gewesen aber nie wieder! Finger weg!

I have never experienced anything like it!!! We reserved a table for two people for our birthday about 3 weeks ago! When we asked if it was possible to make a reservation outside, we were told that this would not be possible. When we asked again an hour before the reservation, the waiter was annoyed, but accepted that the reservations had already been assigned and showed me the table. Implementation would no longer be possible. Then we came to the reservation and the space that was assigned to us for a birthday was super tight. When asked again politely about the implementation, both the service employee became very rude and replied somewhat: “Do you work in the evening business... We don't accept reservations outside” And in a very loud and aggressive tone! And especially since there was a reserved sign on all the tables outside. We always enjoyed coming to eat, but that was the last time or so. It didn't happen because we left! Never again!!! And a little advice to the very unfriendly service staff: keep your eyes open when choosing a career!

One of the employees had his first day, but seemed completely experienced and also included our daughter (10 years old) in the conversation in a suitable and friendly manner. Of course, we as parents are particularly happy about this. The food was absolutely great. Freshly prepared with lots of small, special details. Waiting times for fresh preparation are quite short. Service requests at the desk at a pleasant pace, final payment process goes smoothly. At the end there was a “goodie” for the child and a friendly farewell. TOP rating absolutely deserved. We give a clear recommendation and would be happy to come back ourselves.

Very nicely furnished restaurant with an outdoor area with blankets and a heater if it gets cold. To eat there was fillet of beef with fries and tagliatelle with North Sea crabs. The fillet was cooked to perfection and tasted very good, the fries were also very good. The tagliatelle with crabs was also fresh and very tasty. The rump steak with fried potatoes is also great. Friendly, competent service. The price is higher than average, which is definitely justified given the quality. Small drawback, you are asked by different waiters whether "everything is OK"...in principle this is friendly and appropriate, but please not 5 times in one evening. That's a bit annoying! Only recommended. Addendum we were there with friends in 2021 and ordered plaice fillet, everything was good. Addendum 2024, Labskaus and redfish fillet very tasty and reasonably priced. Days later we ate there with the family, different dishes and everyone was very satisfied. Friendly service and arrived quite quickly. Conclusion: Best restaurant in Duhnen!

We had a reservation and were brought to our table quickly. Unfortunately it took a good 20 minutes until we were allowed to place the drink order, then another 20 minutes until we were allowed to place the food order. The waiter didn't seem very attentive either and almost ran over an older gentleman who clearly had problems with walking and balance, so that he was on the verge of falling. Today I'm not even sure whether the waiter even realized that. Unfortunately, it didn't leave such a good lasting impression

Ohne Buchung haben wir am Samstag Abend, nach Nachfrage, noch ein Platz bekommen. Freundlich wurde wir zum Platz geführt. Das Essen war sehr gut und kam sehr schnell. Die Portion könnte ein wenig gößerer sein.

The service was very friendly but I was a bit disappointed with the choice of food. Apart from the salad, there was actually no vegetarian food on the menu (the pasta dish with the parmesan is, strictly speaking, not vegetarian) so I decided on the Holstein style schnitzel. It was very tasty, even if the plate looked very bland - especially compared to my family members who had beautifully garnished plates.

We had dinner with a reservation on March 30, 2023. No hotel guests! The food was good. The service was a disaster! We were only served to take the order. After that it was over. No request for food. No possibility to order drinks or anything else. Instead, the employees chatted animatedly with each other without paying any attention to the guests. The only competent waiter was overwhelmed and let down by his colleagues. There was even no farewell.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our visit to the restaurant at all. We had reserved a table at the front of the guest room, but were then seated in the cold winter garden and received a very unfriendly welcome. Beforehand we ordered a small salad, which consisted of about 5 salt leaves. When I asked for some bread, we were given counted, old, baked baguette slices, which were then charged at 3 euros (see receipt). After we had to wait over an hour for our main course, the next disappointment came: the Labskaus, which was designated as the main course, consisted of about 3 spoonfuls of Labskaus, a herring fillet, a small gherkin and 3 slices of beetroot from a jar. Charging 18 euros for this “joke” is really an impudence. I myself am a petite woman of 53 kg - I don't need huge portions, but that was definitely not enough. After we expressed our displeasure to the waitress, nothing happened and it was only when we were paying that she announced to us that we would be deducted 3 euros for the Labskaus. On the bill, the Labskaus was then shown as a senior's plate at 15 euros... Overall, our visit was completely unsatisfactory. I then had to order a snack in the pub across the street because I definitely didn't get full from my meal by the sea.

After being thrilled last year, we were very disappointed today. We got spaghetti instead, without asking Tagliatelle, served, a no go at aglio e olio. One Rumpstaek was dry and burnt. Additional sauces, despite being the same price, were significantly different in quantity. Instead of a small mixed salad, there was 1 side salad, just plus 2 pieces of bread. Overall, unfortunately, one has to say that 4 out of 4 people were not full despite the side dishes, and that at these prices. Unfortunately we can no longer recommend this restaurant.

Nachdem wir letztes Jahr begeistert waren, sind wir heute sehr enttäuscht worden. Wir bekamen statt Spaghetti, ohne Rückfrage Bandnudeln, serviert, bei aglio e olio ein no go. Ein Rumpstaek war trocken und verbrannt. Zusätzliche Soßen waren, trotz desselben Preises, deutlich unterschiedlicher Menge. Statt kleinem gemischten Salat kam 1 Beilagensalat, nur plus 2 Stückchen Brot. Insgesamt müss man leider sagen, dass 4 von 4 Personen trotz Beilagen nicht satt geworden sind und das bei diesen Preisen. Leider können wir dieses Lokal nicht mehr weiter empfehlen.

Three of us ate there today. I knew the restaurant from my last visit. As always, we were thrilled. First of all, the service. We were thrilled. And the food was just fresh and delicious. My Labskaus was amazing with the fresh pepper and other ingredients. The skrei and the chicken fillet were not only great in terms of appearance but also in terms of taste. Thank you. We immediately reserved another table for three people for Sunday.

We went twice for breakfast and once in the evening. It was bomb. For a (sry to say) touristy place: bomb squared. A plus: Great children's concept.
