I wanted to have a coffee at a café, but since I didn't have a reservation, I was not exactly politely turned away.

Beautiful ambiance, very friendly and attentive staff, we got a great spot with our two large dogs, and the food was delicious and exquisite. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

In addition to the large menu (to be taken literally 😉), there is an extra daily menu every week. I ate the cod fillet and also took advantage of the business lunch offer with the soup of the day and the espresso. It all tasted very good. The crowning glory was the giant “Seeterrassen Original” cream puff. Actually, the cream puff is already a complete meal 😀. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Reminded me of hospital milk jugs, made of metal with a hinged lid. Seemed a bit small for the amount you usually get in a “jug”. We liked the view of the sea and beach. Super nice employees. Had dinner and again in the afternoon. My husband had the giant cream puff and we were all amazed at how big it was. But it's really light on the stomach, so it's not powerful. Definitely worth it.

We have been here for three days now to enjoy a delicious dinner. We were never disappointed on any evening. We received a very friendly welcome on the first evening (also the following days 😊) The staff is super friendly, attentive and on the ball. We and our dog enjoyed it all three evenings. The dishes that we were able to taste, see photos. The atmosphere is very modern and inviting. Although there are many places available, we were amazed at how quiet it was. Price/performance absolutely fair. And because we liked it so much, we made reservations again for December 2025.

This year we also went to the "Seeterrassen" for Christmas Day, as we had always been able to experience an epicurean event there in previous years. This year there was the North Sea Limandes fillet with boiled potatoes and a salad. Everything can be summarized as follows: The ambience of the restaurant was great. Service and service very friendly and obliging. Food was high quality. The only downer here is (hence the missing star): the portion was a bit small. Well, fish has become expensive, everyone knows that. The food seemed a bit lost on the plate, two or three additional potatoes or maybe a few root vegetables or something similar. would have made up for almost €25.00. I'll ask for a little improvement here in the future, then we'll be back on site for Christmas 2025, I promise.😉 Warm Christmas greetings from Geestland.

Were in Cuxhaven on a Tuesday and wanted to eat something. But since there were so many restaurants, which surprised me, we went to the lakeside terraces. Very nice waitress, delicious food. Only recommended.

As locals, we have been regular guests at the Seeterrassen with friends and family for many years, but mostly in the evenings. Today we wanted to stop there for coffee time around 3 p.m. In the entrance area we were initially greeted by at least 4 people 'Service staff' skillfully ignored for several minutes. When we then asked for a table to drink coffee, a young lady told us in a very mushy tone that there was no table available, even though at least half of the tables were unoccupied. We haven't experienced such ignorant and customer-unfriendly behavior in a restaurant for a long time. One might also assume that it was closed because of wealth. In any case, this establishment will not see us again.

Have eaten there again now. As always, it was super delicious!!! Our daughter and her family were there too and they were really excited! Next time immediately again.

Great fish restaurant right at the mouth of the Elbe with a view of the water. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared, the service is friendly and attentive and the Nordic ambience goes well with the location.

As with every visit to Cuxhaven, we returned to the Seeterrassen. We weren't disappointed. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The service was world class. Unfortunately I forgot the name. The lady with the long braid knows that she is meant. Thanks for the nice evening, see you next time.

The panfish is a real recommendation! 3 types of fish that were incredibly tasty. The fish has to be really hot. For our child we had grilled chicken breast fillet with fries. The price of 7.50 euros is really ok. The service was great, the menu was paintable for children. The ambience is indescribably beautiful: inside with the steering wheel, outside the dike and the bay, and the ball beacon is also in sight. Our new favorite restaurant in Cuxhaven! An absolute tip! Even today, 1 year later, it's great again! The pan fish and the fine fish platter are simply great! For the child this time the chicken breast fillet with tagliatelle. The view is really good, especially at sunset. Absolutely great!

We had spicy fish goulash and sliced ​​pork from the daily menu. The fish goulash was spicy for me, but still very tasty. Today I ordered steamed cod fillet with a grainy mustard sauce with parsley potatoes (it tastes homemade, you can taste it), and the strawberry ice cream sundae as dessert. I have to say, it was very tasty. This Seeterrasse restaurant had a predecessor, "Veermaster". My last vacation in Cuxhaven was July 1998 and the restaurant "Veermaster" existed there at the time (it was very fully booked and I had to reserve the table in advance). We can highly recommend the lakeside terrace.

Great restaurant in Cuxhaven on the dike near the ferry port! The food is a dream, I can unreservedly recommend the fish platter for 2! The staff is super friendly and very helpful with any questions! Even if you have special requests, that was no problem at all! But I also think that the other dishes easily meet expectations! This is the second time we have been here and I can definitely say that we will definitely come back! Thank you for a lovely evening with great food!
