The panfish is a real recommendation! 3 types of fish that were incredibly tasty. The fish has to be really hot. For our child we had grilled chicken breast fillet with fries. The price of 7.50 euros is really ok. The service was great, the menu was paintable for children. The ambience is indescribably beautiful: inside with the steering wheel, outside the dike and the bay, and the ball beacon is also in sight. Our new favorite restaurant in Cuxhaven! An absolute tip! Even today, 1 year later, it's great again! The pan fish and the fine fish platter are simply great! For the child this time the chicken breast fillet with tagliatelle. The view is really good, especially at sunset. Absolutely great!

Great food, great service, great restaurant. Parts of my family have eaten there over the last few years and recommended this restaurant to us. We weren't disappointed. Even though we didn't make a reservation (you should make a reservation!), we got a spot. The rump steak with the fried potatoes was super tasty 😋. The price is a little more expensive, but you have a great view of the North Sea. Gladly again.

We had spicy fish goulash and sliced ​​pork from the daily menu. The fish goulash was spicy for me, but still very tasty. Our wish to get the Geschnetzeltes without champions was implemented without any problems. That calls for a 👍. For dessert we ordered the giant cream puff. Perfect! The cream is not too sweet, the vanilla ice cream and cherries are very tasty. Fresh fruit as decoration. The waitresses are consistently very attentive and friendly!!! A restaurant that we will definitely visit again!!! 😊

Today I ordered steamed cod fillet with a grainy mustard sauce with parsley potatoes (it tastes homemade, you can taste it), and the strawberry ice cream sundae as dessert. I have to say, it was very tasty. This Seeterrasse restaurant had a predecessor, "Veermaster". My last vacation in Cuxhaven was July 1998 and the restaurant "Veermaster" existed there at the time (it was very fully booked and I had to reserve the table in advance). We can highly recommend the lakeside terrace.

Great restaurant in Cuxhaven on the dike near the ferry port! The food is a dream, I can unreservedly recommend the fish platter for 2! The staff is super friendly and very helpful with any questions! Even if you have special requests, that was no problem at all! But I also think that the other dishes easily meet expectations! This is the second time we have been here and I can definitely say that we will definitely come back! Thank you for a lovely evening with great food! A small note on the side: we recommend reserving a table in advance! Because the restaurant is busy!

The food was very tasty and attractively prepared. However, I was missing a vegetable side dish. But you could have ordered it. Great selection for lunch and dinner and the tarts and cakes looked very good too. There are also delicious desserts.

The ice cream was really tasty, my friend said it was the tastiest in all of Cuxhaven. The waitresses were very polite. Points deducted because of the condition of the toilets. This can be done better.

Went there yesterday with 12 people. The first thing that all of our guests noticed was that the seats of the chairs were torn. The fish soup came in a small pot with a large piece of ceramic missing from the lid. This doesn't seem inviting and is especially incomprehensible at the start of the season. All guests enjoyed the fish excellently, but unfortunately the tagliatelle, 2x pesto and 2x prawns were too soft and far too oily and there was not enough pesto for the portion of pasta. The shrimp was rich. Feel free to improve it.

Nice location and view of the harbor. Ambience is nice. Books and pictures of the harbor and city. Service was quick and friendly. HOWEVER: The food and advice/description was below average to bad. The menu features “oven-baked cod with boiled potatoes and side vegetables.” This usually means grilled fish. To be on the safe side, I asked the waiter: is this like fried or boiled/steamed (because I don't like boiled fish). Answer: like fried fish, out of the oven... So I ordered... What came was a kind of tomato fish soup with chunks of fish and potatoes in tomato sauce and mashed mozzarella cheese. Everything was totally liquid, the fish seemed to be cooked in tomato sauce. The “boiled potatoes” floated in it like hard balls. On top, 2 green, half-raw peppers. There was no lemon slice that is usual with fish. However, when we asked for 2 spoons of remoulade sauce - an extra 2.50 euros were charged for that!!!. The consistency of the small mixed salad that was also ordered could have been from the day before - in any case it had already collapsed and was not fresh. The menu says “we serve this with a bread basket”. However, he didn't come. When asked, they said: "We only serve it with the large salads, but as far as I'm concerned we'll bring one anyway." But then the management forgot about that. - We would probably have been charged extra for that too. As a precaution, we checked the menu. However, the addition “with bread” applies to all salads; there is no distinction here. The overall impression is that the waitress doesn't know the menu, the restaurant's best days are behind it and it's relying on its past reputation and its good location at the harbor. A pity!

We came here for dinner by chance and loved it. The service is very relaxed and really nice. The food was very good (plaice Finkenwerder style) We'll definitely be back.

Nice pub in close proximity to Alte Liebe with good food and a nice interior. Particular attention should be paid to the fish dishes and the children's plate, which is free and therefore an exception. If you want to cycle a short distance, you should go there in the evening.

This restaurant has everything you need to have a nice evening there. We even had a nice, short conversation with a few guests there. The food was great, the service was nice, courteous and a smile on your lips. The view was a dream. It is advisable to book a table in advance. Dogs are no problem at all. There are enough parking spaces around the restaurant. It's just great.
