A very nice, cozy restaurant, simply rustic. The food is delicious and the entire staff is very attentive and friendly. 😍🤗 Also compliments to the boss, he remembers his guests and addresses them by name when making a reservation. 👌 We felt very comfortable. 🤗

Seat allocation and service up until the order was placed were initially problem-free. However, the service was no longer available to answer questions. The crab soup I ordered was inedible, and for the first time in my life I had to send food back. The statement from the service was very succinct, we have that often.Hello? At the end we received an incorrect bill from the next table. But the fish plate was ok.

We were there at peak time without a reservation - which wasn't a problem as it is quite large and spread over 2 floors. The food was very good and plentiful, the service was super nice and attentive. The atmosphere is modern. When all the seats are occupied it is quite noisy as everything is open. Of course, this cannot be avoided and is not meant to be a criticism! We'll definitely come back.

Cuxhaven fish plate, fine fish plate, fried potatoes, everything was very tasty, nice boss, nice service, it was full, but everything went very quickly. Special requests such as a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the espresso were fulfilled. Price-performance ratio is good. Gladly again!

The rump steak was a poem. Beautifully tender, served with delicious grilled vegetables and fried potatoes. My husband had the schnitzel Holsteiner style. He was also very enthusiastic.

We were there about 1.5 hours before the store closed and the restaurant was still full. Nevertheless, we managed to get a table with 7 people even without a reservation. We really enjoyed everything that was ordered - well seasoned and filling portion sizes. There were also a few vegetarian/vegan dishes to choose from, which was satisfactory considering that apart from fries or salad, almost only fish and meat dishes are sold in the area. The service was relatively okay. What was great was that we received our orders very quickly. As I said, it was well filled, so it was a bit lively/loud - the live music also contributed to that. Whether you rate it positively or negatively is a matter of taste, I would say. Conclusion: You can definitely visit - especially if you are looking for vegetarian food in the area.

It was easy to order takeaway food on site. The service was friendly. The food was served in typical Styrofoam transport boxes. This is probably why the fried potatoes, the fish and also the tarte flambée were very soggy and no longer crispy when eaten after about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the fish was stacked, so the breading stuck to each other and was also floating in the fat in the transport box. The tarte flambée was cut but unfortunately also stacked in a small transport box, so unfortunately it was rather soggy when eaten. The vegetarian burger was tasty, the quality was still good even after it was taken away, the fries were limp. In terms of price, it's in the middle segment for Cuxhaven Duhnen. In terms of quality, unfortunately not recommended for take-away, perhaps the quality is better locally.

Fresh fish on the table. Nice service, nice atmosphere. The upper floor is closed at lunchtime. We really liked and enjoyed it. We were here for lunch.

It was our first time in this restaurant and it took quite a while until we were served, even though there were no tables inside and only 2 outside with our 3 occupied When we got our food we were very disappointed, a Holstein style schnitzel and a plate of plaice. Visually the dishes were appealing But now to the taste/quality, the breading of the schnitzel was easily 2/3 of the schnitzel (see photo) the schnitzel meat was 2 to 3 mm, if at all, it was unbelievable to call this a schnitzel, when the waiter asked if everything was ok, we showed her the schnitzel, her answer to that was: it was flattened properly "that was cheeky, because the fact that it was flattened is understandable, but it's not like you can't taste the meat at all! Everything else on the side dishes was swimming in the fat, but the taste was ok Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it at all

Nice shop and nice staff, but unfortunately not good food The food is boring and way too greasy. Fried potatoes extremely greasy and close to burnt! The fish was neither seasoned nor salted and not even a piece of lemon with the fish on the plate! The remoulade was way too sour and maybe home-made because of homemade! Pepsi-Cola had no or little carbonation and was not cold! Once but definitely not twice!

I think the schnitzel hunter style is very good. Especially the mushroom sauce with it 🤤. I'm not a big fish eater but the people I was there with said the fish was good too. We've had a few different waiters and they were all very nice and offered us water for our dog.

The schnitzel was okay, the hunter's sauce was out of the bag and the fried potatoes were a mess. The service was very friendly. We won't be coming back!

We were there before Easter and wanted to eat, it was very full and since there were 6 of us we were told that they had no more space without a reservation. We could sit outside, which we did, then the waitress came and complained that she had to go out in the cold because of us and serve us. We placed our order and waited for it, what we noticed was that there were a lot of dogs in there The food was so good, my salad was wilted and didn't look so good anymore. It's a shame we won't be eating there again

When I spontaneously decided to go out for dinner, I still managed to get a seat at rush hour without a reservation. Friendly welcome, very friendly staff and fast service. There was just a very slight smell of french fries in the air - which was caused by the open kitchen. You could watch the food being prepared, which I really like. I will gladly come again. My recommendation: The onion soup as a starter was phenomenal.

The food was tasty, but "very small" in terms of quantity (very small plaice fillets). Service impersonal, reception when entering the restaurant unfriendly. Luckily there are more pleasant restaurants in Cuxhaven.

Unfortunately I can only give 2 stars! Coca-Cola no or little carbonation. Jägerschnitzel very very thin. In my opinion it's not worth the money!

There were three of us here and we were seated quickly and friendly. The staff is very nice and the food came quite quickly! But only the bruschetta nordic ones were really tasty. Art. The. Fish soup was neither clear nor tasty and was only seasoned with lemon and the matjes was totally salty, dry and full of bones. There was no sauce or anything and the lettuce was wilted and sandy. Salmon with grilled vegetables was better, but the vegetables were Brandenburg style, so they were grilled pretty dark! The Cuxhaven fish plate was probably quite okay, although... Fish was hardly seasoned, but there was salt and pepper on the table!!!

We had dinner with 7 people. The food came super quickly and the food for the children, which was ordered in advance, also came very quickly. The service was always friendly despite our lively children who were running around :D. The dessert, the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, was also very tasty. We would like to come again.

We had the Holsteiner schnitzel. The fried potatoes were tasty, the schnitzels were not seasoned, but fresh and well fried. Absolutely recommended with the two fried eggs!! We also ordered a side salad...a little too little dressing. If we feel like having schnitzel again...this place is our first choice 😋

A restaurant with German cuisine. The large salad plate with goat cheese was a hit. Two large fried goat cheese slices, raspberry balsamic dressing. The plaice fillet with boiled potatoes, bacon and green beans was also very good. A restaurant that I can recommend.

We were at Beachcomber last week. The food and service were great. The atmosphere was more like a self-service restaurant.

I was there today with the whole family, the children wanted to eat a burger, so they ordered 3 burgers, one of them with double meat... an impudence to charge €19.90 for ready-made frozen meat from Metro, if I had known the ready-made patty If it comes to the burger, I wouldn't go to this restaurant! Otherwise the service was good and the atmosphere was also very pleasant.

I have to deduct 1 star for the ambience, you sit very close to the other tables and it is quite loud. The 2 star I have to deduct is that you have to pay €2.50 for a plate if you want to share a dish, as unfortunately no senior plate is offered.

A great restaurant with a nice ambience. I also really like the fact that it is an open kitchen. You can hear when the boss knocks the schnitzel and the little bell rings when the food is ready. The prices are absolutely right and the quantity and quality of the food are great. We recommend the Holsteiner style and the Jägerschnitzel. The service is friendly and attentive. There is the opportunity for the little guests to color in different pictures.

Nachdem meine Rezension via Google gemeldet wurde, ein neuer Versuch meine Meinung kundzugeben: Weil das Restaurant so gut wie leer war, wollten wir dort essen, da sonst alle anderen Restaurants überfüllt waren. Uns empfing ein wortkarger Mitarbeiter. Das Essen kam relativ schnell, leider hat es uns gar nicht geschmeckt. Auf die Frage vom Mitarbeiter, ob es schmeckt, verneinten wir seine Frage. Er fragte wie wir das Problem lösen könnten. Okay, der Service sollte schon wissen wie man auf so eine Reaktion reagieren sollte. Wir sagten ihm das die Bratkartoffeln nur so im Öl schwammen, das der Fisch und die TK Bohnen nicht schmeckten. Er ging dann einfach wortlos weg??? Den Teller haben wir nach dem Probieren stehen gelassen. Irgendwann kam dann auch der Kellner und berechnete den vollen Betrag. Das Beste war das Malzbier aus der Flasche. Also Leute, das ist sowas von unprofessionell. Wie ihr das Problem lösen könnt? Diese "ist mir egal" Haltung ablegen, Wert auf Kundenzufriedenheit legen, mit Kritik umgehen können und den Koch wechseln.
