Unsympathetic service. Each time a different waitress served us and we had to make an effort to get her attention. She wasn't particularly nice either. Authentic Bavarian dishes that came quickly. Not many types of food - pork shoulder that didn't have much meat, mostly fat and sausages that were nice, nothing more. The cheese ball dish and the toppings weren't anything special. The bread is excellent!! The atmosphere is that of an old, crowded bar and the energy is good. Located in the center of the old city

We had lunch, in peak xmas day, was very quick to get place in a shared table. They rush you a bit but understandable in such days. Serve was fast and efficient, food was good. I recommend it !

Warning: the sausages are served practically raw!!! The kitchen is visible in the center of the room, and you can clearly see the meat being passed over the flame for barely a few seconds. It's clear they're not cooked through. Absolutely dangerous! Furthermore, we've seen some less than ideal situations in the kitchen, such as orders being placed on the meat or falling into the broth and then removed.

This restaurant is famous for its perfectly grilled specialty, the Nuremberger Roastbratwurst. It was so popular that there was a 45-minute limit. A very charming and wonderful restaurant right in the heart of the city! The plates are metal, and the food is cooked/fried right in the middle of the room, in front of the guests! The food, especially the sausages, is excellent, and it's definitely a place you should visit! It's very busy, and in December, reservations aren't possible due to the Christmas market! It's worth getting there early!

A place with a historical tradition, a very aesthetic interior with traditional sausages prepared on a grill inside. The service was very friendly, the beer and potato salad on the side were served, all served on tin plates, in keeping with tradition. The waiting time was about 5 minutes.

Good Franconian restaurant, the food was delicious. We had Nuremberg sausages with cabbage and potatoes. An appetizer, beer, and wine were included for four people. The service was quick and the place was lovely... full, but no problem going without a reservation. The trick is that they tell you you won't be gone for more than 45 minutes... we shared a table with two other families, and one finished first, then the other, who replaced them, joined us after 45 minutes. A clever way to increase sales! 👍 Price: €20 per person.

Incredible Nuremberg sausages, grilled over charcoal! Incredibly delicious. So much so that I ate 20 sausages in total! Well done to them. The pork knuckle was also very good.

The charming, rustic atmosphere of this historic restaurant is simply unique. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is always delicious. The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable. Insider tip: Try the Schäufele (pork shoulder) or the Nuremberg Rostbratwurst (grilled sausages). I've been here several times and have always been very satisfied!

A couple of issues. I booked a reservation for 2 people at 6pm and received confirmation via email. When I arrived, they didn't seem to have my reservation on record and gave me a hard time. There was a language barrier and I said reservation for 6pm, they mistaken for 6 people so we were given a larger table. They didn't seem very happy about that. The other issue was at checkout and it's a big issue. I paid by card and the machine turned green with a checkmark. The waitress came back and said it didn't go through and that I had to pay again. I told her the machine turned green but she insisted that I needed to pay again because it didn't go through. I checked my credit card a few days later and both transactions posted so I paid twice. I had to reach out to my credit card to fix it, what a terrible experience. AVOID

The dishes are good! But!!! I didn’t provide the tips, the waitress angry at me!! And reject to provide the receipt details for me!!! Why?? I have right to know if the details are correct or not!! And you provide the “no tips” option for me, which means I have the right to choose that!!!!! Or you delete that choice!! I came in, all of you are poker face, I know you are busy so I accept it. The waitress said, she clean the table for me. Hey! That is your basic job in the restaurant!

Centrally located in Nuremberg. The pork knuckle was delicious and the sausages were very tasty. They were very quick to seat us, even without a reservation. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff were incredibly attentive and eager to help, even without speaking Spanish.

A very popular little place, but the sausages weren't crispy enough for us and weren't hot enough. The sauerkraut and potato salad were lukewarm and very mildly seasoned. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were allowed to sit in a separate booth.

The sausage stand near St. Sebald was very busy; we could only find a seat outside after a long wait and had to wait a while for our food. However, we were compensated with freshly prepared dishes and even extra fresh pretzels. The food itself was tasty and well-seasoned, although we felt the portions were a bit small for the price. Afterwards, we ate somewhere else.

We were there over the weekend, and the waitress told us that "Drei im Weckla" (three sausages in a bun) could only be ordered for takeaway, which I found very strange and questionable. We had, however, eaten there during the week. The waitress was also rude, and the customer service was very disappointing overall and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. The sausages were tasty, though, but I'm not sure if it's really worth a visit.

The Nuremberg city sausage and the grilled sausages were delicious! However, be careful with the potato salad; I don't know if it was just my sensitive palate, but it had an extremely spicy flavor (kind of like wasabi)... 😅🥲 The restaurant's interior is quite crowded and busy, so you can't really have a conversation at a normal volume and generally have to speak a bit louder. The staff also seemed rushed at times and were a little hurried, but otherwise, they were friendly. ☺️ Personally, I found the prices a bit high, especially considering the rather small portions. I also found it a bit odd that it seems to be customary in the restaurant to sit at a table with strangers (or rather, to be seated together by the staff). Of course, this isn't a criticism if it's the restaurant's concept, but rather an interesting observation and a potential pitfall for unsuspecting guests. 😂

I visited this restaurant for lunch because I wanted to eat Nuremberg sausages. The interior has a warm, cottage-like atmosphere. The sausages, grilled to perfection in the central grill, were fragrant, flavorful, and delicious. The food overall had a nice salty flavor that went perfectly with beer. It was so delicious that I ended up returning during my stay in Nuremberg.

When you think of German sausages, you think of Nuremberg sausages, and when you think of Nuremberg sausages, this place has a long history and reputation. I ordered six bratwursts (Rostbratwürste) and chose potatoes as a side dish, and they were surprisingly delicious. It's not for nothing that they've been famous and in business for so long. The salty, spicy flavor and delicious texture made it the perfect snack. The beers I paired them with were Tucher's Urbräu Hell and Kellerbier Naturtrüb. The Helles was definitely a decently tasty style, and the Kellerbier had a unique red appearance and flavor, typical of an unfiltered beer.

The place is wonderful, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to treat Brazilians differently. While locals could take their drinks outside, we were not allowed to. Also, if you stay at the table for more than two hours, they politely let you know that your table has been reserved for other customers soon — making it clear that it’s time to leave.

A cult place on the way to the castle, where people go mainly for Nuremberg sausages prepared on a beech wood fire. Very lively authentic atmosphere, good Munich beer Augustiner.

Delicious Nuremberg sausages straight from the grill, served with perfect side dishes. The beer was tasty, even though it surprisingly came from Munich. The service was very friendly and extremely efficient.

Always a must when visiting Nuremberg. Unfortunately, it's very crowded. But the sausages are fantastic.

The Bratwursthäusle, while a typical tourist spot run by Tucher, actually serves some of the best bratwurst in Nuremberg, alongside Zum Gulden Stern and Bratwurstglöcklein at Handwerkerhof. They also offer them to go in a bread roll. The only thing I didn't like was the smoked version; the sausage from Zum Gulden Stern is much better suited for that. But that's just a matter of taste.

This was one of the most memorable sausages I had in Germany. While the taste itself wasn't entirely different, the texture felt incredibly homemade, which was surprising. Rather than the sausage being perfectly ground, the meaty texture lingered in every bite, reminding me of real, ground beef. The potatoes were tender, and the sauerkraut was a nice addition.

A famous sausage restaurant in Nuremberg. After eating, I felt that it was a bit too salty. Eating sausage alone for a long time would be a bit greasy. It has a charcoal grilled aroma. It is recommended to buy the takeaway version of the sausage with bread for a higher CP value.

The classic for a hearty bratwurst meal

For dinner, I walked here all three nights of my stay from the Le Meridien Grand Hotel (very nice) to make sure I had my fill of the famous Nuremberg little bratwursts - I order 8 each time. I was solo so I was placed at a table immediately where I could chat with those at my table. I had wonderful conversations, especially since I could speak German. The last evening I asked if they were with a travel group because they kept talking to other people. They said no, they live here and come every Friday - so looks like I picked a good place to visit since the locals love it too.

I loved this typical German restaurant in the center of Nuremberg. Following the recommendation of a day tour guide, we experienced it inside. The terrace is beautiful, and it's tempting to be there with the view of the church and town hall. Inside, you really get the experience of this cozy place, with the open kitchen in the center, typical dishes, and delicious German beers. I hope to return!

We were there a while ago when we visited my family. When I'm home in Bavaria/Upper Palatinate, it has to be traditional cuisine. I finally had sour bratwurst again. Unfortunately, I can't get them in Magdeburg, and I can't quite get my mother's way. We had a great meal.

Not German stuff, also not prepare in German way… the service is a joke, I made a change and it was like a drama, I was treated poorly… plus OF COURSE, you cannot pay with card on Wednesday 🤣, only cash… how unfortunate 🤣 I had to pay cash 🤣🤣🤣 I won’t come back for sure !

If you're a fan of rude treatment, this is the place for you! Here, you'll witness waiters arguing with each other because no one wants to serve your table (the reason remains unclear). They'll then refuse to take your order and advise you to leave if the waiter doesn't like your order. A waitress will forget part of your order, and if you remind them, the food will simply be thrown onto the table. In the end, you'll be expected to automatically tip when you pay the bill. However, if you're not a fan of this kind of service, choose another restaurant—thankfully, there are plenty of them in the city.

An absolute must when visiting Nuremberg. Delicious sausages, served traditionally in zinc plates, in a rustic atmosphere. A restaurant that is aware of and committed to its traditions. Despite high occupancy, fast service is available, and for those in a hurry, takeaway is available.

We received a warm welcome and were seated at a table with other people. We really enjoyed the atmosphere; the Bratwursthäusle is very busy. The food was very tasty. However, I have to complain about one thing: the very friendly Asians were not served very friendly. Another waitress was very annoyed, and another slammed her plate down on the table. This was very unpleasant for us at the table.

A Nuremberg institution. The Nuremberg sausages from the wood-fired grill are sensationally delicious. The "Drei im Weggla" (Three in a Roll) is particularly recommended. The rest of the food and drinks on offer are also highly recommended. The restaurant is often very busy, so reservations are recommended. In addition to the main restaurant, there is also a larger outdoor area, which is very busy in good weather. Always happy to return.

After wandering around and trying to get dinner at a restaurant, we stumbled upon this delightful place. We were able to get in without a reservation and were seated almost immediately in an empty spot. Here you share a table with strangers, which I think is great. We spent a long time with a super friendly older couple. The place looks small from the outside, but inside it's quite large. The service was very good, although when it's full, it might take a while to serve, which is a very pervasive experience. The beer was delicious, and for dinner we ordered one of Nuremberg's typical dishes, French pork shoulder with a potato dumpling. My companion ordered potato salad, which was much tastier than the dumpling. The meat was delicious, falling off the bone on its own, and the crust was like a giant bacon rasher. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone. Payments can be made in cash or by card.

I visited around 2pm on a Monday, and while there were plenty of people, there was no wait. I ordered grilled sausage and pork knuckle, and personally, I thought the pork knuckle was incredibly delicious. It had a distinct flavor from haksen or colegno, and was more similar to Korean pig's feet. The Toocher beer was, as expected, delicious.

Waiter’s unbelievably rude. Much better places around for same price. Oh also the worst head on a beer I’ve ever seen, it was actually laughable. Like 50% beer 50% head.

Terrible service. The waitress was rude to the customers. Moreover, she was swearing in Greek right in front of us. But we also understand Greek, so we had to tell her exactly what we thought of her. The Franconian soup was decent, as were the sausages with cabbage. But the service was awful. We asked for some bread, and were refused — which was quite strange :) I absolutely do not recommend this place, despite its popularity.

Incredibly delicious shoulder of pork, tender as butter and full of flavor. A large dumpling is included, and you'll definitely be filling! Accompanied by a fresh Augustiner beer on tap, and the price is reasonable considering the location!
