Delicious food, although somewhat expensive. The only thing to highlight is the attitude of the lady who served outside, too rude until when you pay you tip her, then she gives you a half smile thanking you.

The food and the place are good, but the hostess (the lady wearing glasses 'welcoming' you to the restaurant) is so unkind!, clearly she dislikes her job and leave in customers a negative impression.

Nice place but the waiters are very unfriendly and rude. The weak food. When going to pay by card, the waitress herself tipped the maximum without giving us the option to choose what amount of tip we wanted to give. I don't recommend it

If you're ever in Nuremberg, you definitely have to go to the Bratwursthäusle. The waitresses are very nice and really quick. The real Nuremberger is the tastiest thing you can get, whether with potato salad or sauerkraut. We also take sour Zipfel and Nurembergers with us on every visit.

The best sausages and they also make them in a traditional way.

I liked this place and we stopped there for at least three days. Their specialty is Nuremberg sausages with a side dish and of course a good beer. I just didn't like some waitresses who were very rude and always in a hurry to be able to use the table with more people. Once they told me I could sit but only for 45 minutes. Otherwise very local atmosphere and great food. I recommend the sausages and potato soup.

Bustling traditional German eatery with pleasant service and simple but delicious dishes. Grilled Nürnberg sausages and potato salad - both a must try. Boiled sausages in pickled onion soup was refreshing and good to try for those who have a sour palette. Lovely wait staff, very busy so expect to share a table at peak meal times. Everyone’s lovely about it so don’t worry.

Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and good food! We tried the sausages, sauerkraut, potato soup, the bread and cheese platter and a couple of bread rolls to go with the sausage and sauerkraut. All of it was great and the sauerkraut in particular was very tasty!

Waitress very unfriendly, nice that she manages 12 bratwursts alone. But if you would like to share these with two people, then this should not be the waitress's responsibility. In addition, being pointed out that other guests wanted to eat “properly” here was a real disappointment. If I wanted to be insulted for €30 per person, I would go to another establishment in Nuremberg.

The entire store was full of smoky flavor. The sausage had a strong smoky flavor, and the sauerkraut was like warm white kimchi. The potato salad was cold and tasted like it was mixed with butter. Anyway, I tried it once in Nuremberg and am satisfied.

Of course all hell breaks loose here at lunchtime, but we still got a table quickly. The service staff were very friendly and quick. It all worked out great. If you like Nuremberg bratwursts and can tolerate a bit of commotion, this is the place for you. We'd love to come back.

There were a lot of people and it looked busy, so the service wasn't that great... the food was delicious. I ate Schweinhaksen and sausage, and it was salty and delicious.

Bit of a mixed bag this place. Sausages were lovely and service was great - as was the vibe inside although I sat outside. However, the pretzel was rock hard (not sure if that’s how it’s meant to be done) and the beer pour on the lager might be (respectfully) the single worst beer pour I have ever seen. It was a half pint but ended up being MUCH less than that once the bubbles had settled - see the picture (I had not had any of the beer at that point).

What can I say) unexpectedly amazing. Let's start with the fact that the place itself doesn't offer many dishes. Essentially a quick menu. So we decided to try the grilled sausages and leave. But... when they arrived, we tried and ordered another larger portion, pork knee and another portion of sausages. The beer is good by the way. They cook sausages on the grill, the smell is just explosive)

Best Nuremberg wurst in Nuremberg! Very casual atmosphere! A bit chaotic at times due to the number of people who want to dine-in or takeaway. I suggest going to the counter and takeaway.. it is cheaper and quicker... Do not walk too far with your roll since you'll probably want one more when you have done!

Very tasty food and tasty cellar beer on tap with great service

A very nice place in the very center of the old town. It has a large terrace and the service is fast. The food is very similar to other typical places, a lot of sausage and the occasional meat dish. We are not very adventurous with food so we ordered some grilled sausages and some beers. They come accompanied by salad or bread. When you enter you will surely see a lot of people outside the establishment eating bread with sausage, apparently they don't serve that inside, you have to come from the street to order and leave.

Recommended for tourists. Rustic gastronomy with charm, but a small, limited menu. Mainly bratwurst

I had Nuremberg sausage and pork shoulder, and it tasted a little different from Haksen, so I recommend it. The staff was friendly and helped me find my seat quickly. It seems like a lot of locals come here and there are a lot of tourists, so I recommend it if you're thinking about a restaurant. Beer is also delicious!

The Nuremberg sausages were ok but nothing special, and we thought the potato salad didn't taste like it was homemade. Unfortunately, all of this was available at an overpriced price! In addition, we didn't receive particularly friendly service on the day we were there. It's a hectic mess as is typical of tourist restaurants. Or maybe we had a very bad day. But we won't be coming back again.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The restaurant is such a warm and cosy place with the grill in the middle, surrounded by tables and the smell of sausages being cooked! My wife and I both had the roasted pork shoulder with dumpling which was amazing! We had a side of sauerkraut too and we were very full after our meal! The beer and atmosphere was great and the waitress that served us was very welcoming and professional. If I lived in Nuremberg I could spend a lot of time in this place! Would definitely visit again.

I have been here in 2021. Today I came here again. The food was so delicious, wooden flavor sausages, boiled Schweinshaxe, pork shoulder. All food was so great. I have to say I’ve lived in Germany for 5 years this was the best. But the service sometimes gets very slow and busy. I got ignored so many times.

Very nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the choice of dishes is small, but the dishes are tasty and very quickly prepared (each order took us no more than a few minutes). A purely tourist restaurant with high prices and rather mass processing. After 90 minutes, we were politely asked to leave despite having a reservation, even though we kept ordering more drinks after our meal. It is very cozy inside the restaurant, the service staff is attentive. Unfortunately I can't recommend the food. As a real Schäuferlefan, I was very disappointed. If you charge €21 for a relatively small Schäuferle with dumpling and no side salad, it should at least be freshly prepared. The meat was hard and fibrous in the lower part, as if it had been kept warm for a long time, the dumpling was not fresh, but warmed up and hard, the sauce... well, it went like that. Only the crust of the Schäuferle was as crispy as it should be. All in all, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of cuisine. I wouldn't want to eat there again, even though I come from the surrounding area of ​​Nuremberg.

Absolutely the address for traditional Franconian hospitality. And the Nuremberg Würstel Spitze, you immediately notice proper craftsmanship. Unfortunately it's a bit far away but it was important to me to show my daughter the shop.

We went to the restaurant today around 5 PM after a local recommended it. The place is really beautiful, and we were excited about the food and drinks. Sadly, our experience was very disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. When we walked in, a tall male staff member was surprisingly rude. We assume this is was racially motivated as we are a group of international students. We asked if we could sit outside, and he said we could sit anywhere. But once we got settled outside, a friendly female waitress told us we couldn’t stay there. We were willing to move as she was nice, but then the guy came to our table and told us, in a very unfriendly way, that we could not sit here without explaining why or offering to help us find another table. It was frustrating to be treated like that. We’re a diverse group—Europeans, Asians, Africans, and Latin Americans—and we all felt unwelcome. It’s such a shame because the restaurant seems great, but one person’s attitude really ruined it for us.

You immediately feel welcome here. There aren't many dishes on the menu, but we didn't expect there to be. There were two of us here and we enjoyed the bratwursts, which were freshly prepared right in front of our eyes on the beech wood grill, with potato salad and sauerkraut. The taste of the sausages is really very good. You can taste and see that these sausages were made by hand. Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was very friendly and we didn't have the feeling that we were being rushed to get the seat free. We will be happy to come back here and enjoy our sausages. All we can say is: keep it up!!!!
