We managed to get a table at short notice on a busy Saturday evening. The food was delicious, with generous portions. The service was always attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was lovely. Despite the large number of guests, it wasn't too loud or uncomfortable. Highly recommended!

I celebrated my birthday at the Heidekrug. First, we went bowling, followed by a visit to the restaurant. Reservations (for both the bowling lanes and the restaurant itself) can be easily made via their website. The two bowling lanes are located in the basement and are modernly furnished. To order drinks, you can scan the QR code on the cutlery tray at the table and place your order remotely. Very convenient! The food portions are generous and satisfying. Everything tasted great. The noise level was a bit high due to a 1. FC Nürnberg match, but it was still possible to have a conversation. This is certainly different on days without a game. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Furthermore, the entire team, including the owner, is incredibly friendly. On top of that, I forgot to pick something up at the restaurant that evening: an envelope containing a gift certificate. An employee called me that same evening(!) and informed me that they would hold it for me so I could pick it up the next day. My sincerest appreciation and heartfelt thanks again!

Bowling with friends, and we fortified ourselves with a good meal beforehand. My schnitzel was perfect, served with delicious homemade potato salad. Highly recommended. Since participating in "Your Restaurant, My Restaurant," it's even busier, and the food is a touch better too. I'll be back.

We all ate Greek dishes, and they were all very good. I'm deducting one star for the tzatziki, because it was nothing like homemade tzatziki and tasted like something from a discount supermarket. I'm glad I didn't order an extra portion, as I usually do. Next time, I'll try the Franconian cuisine at this restaurant, even though the drink prices are very high. But then I'll just order one drink.

We went to "Heidekrug" for dinner this evening. After a long absence, we wanted to see for ourselves. We used to go there quite often and were always satisfied. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering, as many tables were occupied. We were then greeted warmly by the staff and, since we had a reservation, shown to our table immediately. Ordering drinks and food was quick and easy. The wait for the food wasn't a problem at all. It arrived promptly. The food itself was delicious, which my companion also confirmed. New customers kept arriving, and they were all treated kindly and courteously. The restaurant seemed to be very busy today. It was a bit more expensive than on our last visits, but it was worth the price. We will definitely go there again and happily recommend it to others.

I have to admit, I'm a difficult customer. I actually only enjoy burgers in very few places. Many slap a pickle on top, which I think is completely unacceptable. Here, I was also surprised that such a crime was committed, BUT I found the burger absolutely delicious. The meat was also really good and not too intense in flavor, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, and the service is friendly. The only thing I can criticize is that they only serve Italian desserts, considering it's a German restaurant (?). But otherwise, I was very satisfied.

On October 18, 2025, we celebrated a 60th birthday with a group of 29 people. We had more than enough space in the "Stube" room. The service there was excellent, as always. A very personable chef and very friendly waitresses, and the drinks were always brought and delivered very quickly. For dinner, we had the "Best of" buffet, and it was excellent; there was enough for everyone and quite a bit left over. The food also arrived on time. As a highlight, I recommend booking the bowling alley. The little ones had even more fun than the adults :) It was an all-around wonderful day there. Service, ambiance, food, bowling. Everyone was very satisfied.

This was my first visit, but certainly not my last. Next, we'll be holding our Christmas party in this cozy restaurant. Today was the kids' summer party. There was a Paw Patrol puppet show, bouncy castle, popcorn, cotton candy, and the kids could go bowling. 😎 A really great idea and very well executed 💪. We all had dinner together, and drinks came quickly even though it was very busy. The appetizer platter was very plentiful and had a great selection. For main course, we had kids' burgers (the same size as the adult ones), veggie burgers, and spare ribs. All very tasty. The ribs were perhaps even properly smoked and not oven-baked. The staff were super friendly and really relaxed with the kids - I heard there were 300 kids alone 😳. The atmosphere was typically Franconian, and the arcade machines (pinball and darts) and the bowling alley were cool. Whether it was really worth it in the end - I have no idea 🤔. It was our first time, and we'll be back, so maybe 😁.

We went to eat at the Kids Summer Party today. First, we had to wait an hour for our food after ordering. The food (cheese spaetzle, Schäuferle, and two different burgers) was absolutely delicious. Then the bill came, and we paid. Unfortunately, we realized too late that the prices were different from the menu. There was no bill. After we mentioned it again, we were told that eight items had increased by €0.60 since yesterday. However, there was no updated menu, not at our seats, outside, or online. This behavior is unacceptable, and it makes us doubt we would visit the Heidekrug again. There is a lack of transparent information for guests. Face painting, puppet shows, and the bouncy castle were great. Nevertheless, I cannot understand this kind of behavior. You shouldn't treat your guests like this.

We went to the children's party and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, the children's show was fantastic, and there were so many people there. Today we went to the kids' summer party at the Heidekrug with the whole family – and it was a complete success! There was an incredible amount on offer for the children: disco bowling, popcorn, cotton candy, a bouncy castle, and, as a special highlight, a 50-minute puppet show with Paw Patrol characters, which was very professionally executed and truly entertaining. The bouncy castle was, of course, the absolute favorite with the kids :-) While the little ones enjoyed the fantastic program, we adults were able to enjoy the delicious food in peace. What was especially nice was that with every drink, the kids got a really big kids' burger – and it was completely free! The entire event was free, which is something you can't take for granted these days. Despite the high demand and many table reservations, the service staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and superbly organized. A huge compliment to the entire team and the kitchen – you executed this with a lot of passion and professionalism. We really enjoy coming to the Heidekrug for dinner and are already looking forward to the next event of this kind. Thank you for an unforgettable day – not just for the children, but for us adults too!

I ordered online and didn't eat there. The delivery was unfortunate in several respects, but what was most important to me was how the owner responded to my experience. That same evening, he called me personally after work, sincerely apologized, and immediately refunded the full amount. He also offered to let me see the true capabilities of his restaurant when I had the chance. His demeanor was very attentive and honest; you immediately realize that his guests' satisfaction is important to him. During the conversation, he explained that the delivery delays were due to Lieferando's corporate policy. He also openly discussed the packaging. The idea behind the aluminum foil is to allow guests to easily heat the food in the oven if necessary. At the same time, he admitted that this solution isn't optimal and announced improvements. The food itself, unfortunately, didn't impress me that evening. The steak and baked potato were wrapped in aluminum foil, which made them lukewarm and soaked with meat juices. The fries also suffered from this, and the order arrived significantly later than expected. My conclusion: It's probably best not to order online at this point. I can't judge the quality of the food on-site. However, the owner's dedication, openness, and commitment suggest that the restaurant has much more to offer overall.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant. However, the service at the all-you-can-eat menu was disappointing. Starting with the second round, the portions were smaller and served with less care, and the wait times between orders were far too long. At 8:30 p.m., we were informed that the kitchen was closing – despite our reservations at 7 p.m. For the third round, we received less food than we had ordered because they supposedly hadn't left – leaving one person without food at all. Furthermore, we were subsequently told that we had been offered chicken wings, which was definitely not the case. In the end, we were offered six shots of schnapps, which we declined, as we were all driving – that was all they could do. I would like to emphasize that the owner contacted me personally afterward. He made it clear that such an evening was not up to his standards and that he wanted to show us that things usually work differently. I greatly appreciate his personal commitment and willingness to set the record straight, and I see it as a strong sign that guest satisfaction is taken seriously here. Therefore, I can easily imagine giving the restaurant another chance.

Yes, how can I put it...the Heidekrug has a wonderful ambiance, the service is on point, but: (Reason for deducting one star) The food arrived super quickly, although my wallet rebelled a bit at €16.90 for three Franconian sausages with sauerkraut. Whether it was because I mumbled my order or I actually ordered medium-cooked sausages, I can't say; I wish they were a bit darker. It was still tasty, no question. The sausages were deliciously seasoned, and the sauerkraut went well with them, but the combination of medium-cooked Franconian sausages and €16.90 was a bit too much for my taste. That's not a deal-breaker, but I had to justify the deduction somewhere. So - my conclusion: Yes, you can eat well there if you have the necessary cash. The prices are generally noticeably higher than at other restaurants in the Nuremberg area. For example, the red Tucher costs €4.90 per sachet, which exceeds the usual €5 limit with a tip if you want to give a reasonable tip (and given the good service, which I would like to emphasize again here, the tip should be appropriate).

We ordered two burgers, fries, and onion rings through Lieferando. Unfortunately, one burger was missing. We were told to contact Lieferando—which wasn't really possible, as they only have a chatbot available. We were then promised that a driver would bring the missing burger within half an hour. After an hour and a half, there was still no one there. Finally, we received a call saying that no driver was coming after all—even though we had previously been told otherwise. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed Lieferando. As if Lieferando had forgotten to make the burger. We weren't offered any alternatives, such as reordering and getting a refund. Nothing at all. Of course, mistakes can happen, but next time, just make sure you don't forget anything—then problems like this won't arise in the first place. Having to wait two hours and then being fobbed off is unfortunately unacceptable. For us, this was the first and last time we order from here 👎🏻

I've rarely experienced such a harmonious place! The Heidekrug team impresses not only with the quality of the food, but also with their dedicated, attentive, and very friendly service. They can find the perfect space for every occasion. We celebrated a 100th anniversary in the hall and, with Mr. Häcker, were able to perfectly implement our wishes. Our guests have received nothing but positive feedback. Now all that remains is to try out the new bowling lanes. A surely great idea for a great time with family, friends, or colleagues. The service was friendly and very competent. There's also a bowling alley downstairs, which we can't rate. The parking situation is a bit tricky, but that doesn't detract from a visit. There are free parking spaces on the street. All in all, a great restaurant that invites you to return.

We stopped here out of curiosity to see the "Franconian-American" food on offer. Overall, it was reasonably okay, but something about the taste and subsequently our stomachs were off. The owner's embarrassing appearance on the TV series "My Local, Your Local" confirmed our suspicions: According to the owner, the Heidekrug uses a lot of frozen foods and convenience foods—i.e., ready-made products. An absolute no-go for us—and because the service also seemed a bit clumsy and untrained, we won't be coming back.

I was at Heidekrug recently and was pleasantly surprised! I ate a really good hamburger there: the patty was juicy, perfectly cooked, and at 200g, a decent size.
