Café Luftsprung in Nürnberg

The potato dumplings were quite good, but the price was steep for the relatively small portion. Can only speak for vegan and vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately, the fries were very soft and tasteless. The restaurant is cozy. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time for food (> 30 minutes)

This is a place I've been coming to every time I come to Nuremberg since 2015! The squid salad here is really delicious - (The original size is also generous) I wasn't completely hungry that day, so I ordered a smaller size for lunch and it was still delicious. I was even more satisfied because the server was friendly! Totally recommended.

I like to go there in a central location. Food is delicious and varied. Lots of small tables - ideal if you're traveling as a couple. However, when the restaurant is full, it is very loud.

Very nice restaurant and great service. However, the food didn't convince us. The venison ragout was swimming in sauce and was a bit chewy. The roast pork was too hard for me. But the friendliness of the boss and the staff was convincing and the criticism was accepted. Thanks!!!

A great find based on a random Google Maps search when were in the area. Portions were generous with good flavor. I was thrilled to find a long salad menu after several days of meat and carbs!

There were two of us doing the aerial jump and it was the first time for me. The menu is Franconian, but interpreted in a modern way in contrast to the classic breweries. The selection is so great that it took me a while to decide. The absolute tip for me: A schnitzel the size of an elephant ear with potato salad at an unbeatable price. However, I decided on a few potato wedges and a salad with fried vegetables. Both were super tasty. My companion chose the pumpkin soup and the glass noodle salad. The service was great and the ambience was timeless. I have already recommended you...great

The schnitzel was really delicious! There was Schäufele on the Sunday menu today and that also tasted very good! The employee who served us was super nice. We were more than satisfied.

Been coming here more often recently! Because I was traveling abroad for a long time on business. So far every starter and soup has been great in terms of taste and value for money! The chef can cook and from what I hear he has been here for 7 years! Hold on to him!!!! Had carrot ginger soup today, made me sweat! Tasteful and intense!!! House rigatoni with mushrooms and minced meat… Super tasty, be careful, portions are large! Service is always friendly and helpful when you have questions! Luftsprung still the same owner for 20 years! My respect and hats off to you for that! Time has stood still here and the appropriate background music makes you forget time! It doesn't always have to be the latest and stylish, but it has to have soul! Keep it up…♥️♥️♥️

This is the second time I have visited the restaurant. The food was really great every time and the portions were very large. You will definitely be full. In summer you can sit outside nicely, the restaurant is not very modern inside but is typically German rustic. Price-performance ratio is very good! For dessert I ordered a brownie with ice cream. Unfortunately it was more like a cake, but it still tasted good.

Great restaurant. We've been there a few times now and we're always happy to come back. Our insider tip is the schnitzel and the lemonades. The waitress always has a smile on her face. Within an hour we finished eating and even had dessert. There are few places where the service is so good.

After a walk through Nuremberg, stopping at this restaurant was a nice end. I can only recommend the very cozy atmosphere, the attentive service and the delicious food. Everyone was full and everyone enjoyed it. I've been coming here for years and I'm still thrilled.

The Luftsprung is located directly on the banks of the Pegnitz. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are rustic and cozy. The always friendly and fast service ensures a quick and uncomplicated process. The orders are processed quickly. The menu contains more than you initially think. The food is visually very appealing. Taste good too.

We celebrated our 70th birthday at Café Luftsprung today. I've never been there before. I liked it so much that I decided to go back for sure. The food (salad with falafel) was very tasty and plentiful. The spritzers refreshed me and tasted fantastic. And the service was top notch. Attentive but not intrusive, quick and friendly.

The waitress and waiter are very pleasant, friendly and quick. Just as you wish. The food is very good ! The only small negative point: it's a shame that there are only 3 apricot dumplings.... At 10 euros. I would have wished for more. Still definitely recommended.

Sweet restaurant in Nuremberg and really tasty. The service was very, very nice and accommodating. The food is delicious. The spaghetti bolognese was a bit slow in taste, but still edible. However, I wonder why it is so expensive. The salads and food look great, but I'm wondering if it's a cafe or a restaurant. The prices are almost comparable to other fine cuisine in Nuremberg and I am visiting a restaurant where I am happy to pay this price, but not for a café. For me, the price/performance ratio is not right for a café. It was still a nice visit to Café Luftsprung.

I like coming here, it's a comfortable place to eat. The furnishings are also pleasant and the ambience is very nice. Pet-friendly restaurant and staff, even with a large dog!

Stumbled into this inconspicuous café in wintry Nuremberg because soup was offered on the table. What we got was an amazing soup, for me wild mushroom cream with basil foam. Super tasty, large portion and plenty of bread. Great. Warmed up from the inside, we head back to the Christmas market :). Great recommendation!!

We loved dinner at Café Luftsprung! Great, diverse menu with many vegetarian and vegan options. The staff was very friendly and responded well to an error in the order. Unfortunately, the pasta in one dish was overcooked, a minor weak point. Otherwise everyone was completely satisfied.

The apple ice cream things were great. Everything was great except the atmosphere. The place is quite dark and the tables are close together. Accordingly, there is no personal space. Because I didn't hear my friend and couldn't discuss anything. Because the people at the neighboring tables were talking louder. But everything is great if you just eat for a few minutes and don't talk.

Waited for three quarters of an hour until the order was taken, not only at our table but also at everyone else's, with normal operations (!), the food was completely over salted, which is why I had it returned, the replacement food was a mini portion. The absolutely relaxed and unmotivated service didn't care about the feedback... The fact that I also gave a tip here still annoys me!!! Definitely never again 👎👎👎
