Beautiful environment, all in wood. Excellent typical German cuisine from the region. I recommend trying the fantastic Käsespätzle.

You will find a unique atmosphere here. The servers are also in a good mood. The four of us got a table on the first floor. Our meal, a small turkey steak (it wasn't that small!) with spaetzle and cream sauce, tasted perfect. It could only have been hotter. The small salad was also a decent portion. The prices here are still moderate. Later, after a walk, we came back and ate a sweet tarte flambée with apple, cinnamon and sugar. Everyone was very satisfied.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A culinary highlight! This restaurant offers Swabian cuisine at the highest level. The Maultaschen were homemade and perfectly seasoned, the onion roast was tender as butter, and the spaetzle was simply a dream. You can taste the attention to detail in every dish! There is also warm service that makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and typically Swabian – just the thing for connoisseurs! If you love traditional German cuisine, you shouldn't miss this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived after the hike with a large group and quite hungry. The restaurant is magical and very individual, the service is great and the food is very tasty. We'd love to come back.

We were there for the second time today after a hiking trip nearby and were completely thrilled again. No matter whether it's sliced ​​meat, juicy, tender goulash or onion roast... the food is simply so good. Plus delicious draft beer. The two waitresses were quick, attentive and very welcoming. And did I already mention the ambience with the tree in the house and 2 floors oO Full 5 stars.

The ambience was great. The food wasn't as hoped, it's very bulky and not worth the long journey we took. We had seen the Stadt,Land,Lecker report from back then and had high hopes for it. We would wish that the spaetzle, for example, were homemade... Well, all the best anyway

Ambiance - a dream! Good food, very busy, be sure to reserve the table. We ordered Swabian plates, spaetzle are a dream, unfortunately the meat was "too cooked" and therefore dry. Maultaschen were a bit bland. Salad was very tasty, potato salad is very, very good. But there is a lot of choice of dishes to suit every taste.

For the first time the drinks were brought incorrectly which wasn't a bad thing, everyone has a bad day. However, the food also arrived incorrectly (misunderstood or something else) and at first you complained and felt like you had to teach your customers what was wrong, because the customer is king! Unfortunately it's a shame because I lost my appetite as a result. My meal, schnitzel with potato salad, was actually delicious, but my partner's meal was catastrophic (roast roast). It wasn't seasoned front and center even though it was a very expensive dish. Very disappointing because we were actually happy and unfortunately we went home with sad faces! We will no longer enter the store and will definitely not recommend it to anyone else!

Ich war kürzlich im Krabba-Nescht essen und war leider enttäuscht, da die Qualität der Speisen nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprach. Optisch sieht das Essen zwar ansprechend aus, doch geschmacklich bleibt es weit hinter dem Eindruck zurück. Die Käsespätzle waren geschmacklos und ließen jegliche Würze vermissen, sodass sie kaum Genuss boten. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war ebenfalls enttäuschend – das Fleisch war zwar in Ordnung, aber es fehlte deutlich an Geschmack und Raffinesse. Die Maultaschen in der Suppe waren dagegen gut zubereitet, allerdings war die Brühe viel zu salzig, was das Gericht unausgewogen machte. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Ambiente, das wirklich angenehm und einladend ist. Auch der Service war in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht herausragend – freundlich, aber ein wenig reserviert. Fazit: Wer ein schönes Ambiente sucht, wird hier fündig. Kulinarisch gibt es jedoch noch viel Luft nach oben, insbesondere bei der Würze und Abstimmung der Speisen. Leider ist es momentan kein Lokal, das ich weiterempfehlen würde.

Food was good, service was very nice, the ambience is unique with one small problem: the benches are sometimes too high.

Unfortunately I have to give three stars, which are entirely dedicated to the building and the restaurant itself. There were five of us who had dinner and had made reservations in advance. During the week around 6 p.m. everything into the residential area is parked with cars, very annoying. We waited a long time for food, so one meal arrived cold and one completely oversalted. You can do something about the cold, but you can't do anything about it being too salty. The person left hungry. In response to our comment, they said, “I’m hearing that for the first time.” It doesn't matter how often you hear it, if it's too salty for the customer, then you have to behave accordingly. We didn't accept a schnapps, and unfortunately we weren't offered an espresso or a small dessert. Since the restaurant is really beautifully designed, we might come back when there is less going on. Unfortunately it was a negative experience.

We were there with 39 people, the order was for 40 people. We had to free a table, but we had to sit so tightly that there was only room for 36 people. The boss was unfriendly and not flexible, because the free table was not occupied and was free until we left the restaurant. So absolutely not recommended.

Been there for the first time. Quiet location, nice atmosphere and the service was very nice and friendly. We had cheese spaetzle, spaetzle with gravy, a sausage salad and the knuckle. All dishes were delicious, I liked the crust on the knuckle, nice and crispy :) We'd love to come back.

Super interesting design, great atmosphere... the open different levels make it very cozy... even though there wasn't exactly a lot going on, the staff had things under control and we were served quicker than we thought... the food was good, I I had tripe myself, unfortunately you can't get it anywhere these days... if the portions were a little bigger I would have given the food 5 stars... but still great value for money

Great, exceptional ambience. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre! The fried potatoes were streaked with fat and fried for too long. We returned them and didn't have to pay for them! The pork schnitzel was tough and tasteless. The fries were good. (canteen level) The tarte flambée was baked too short and was served cold. But taste ok. The salads and soups before were delicious! There is nothing to complain about in terms of service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It may be better during the week.

What should I write about it? I was just thrilled. Ordered food for children, in what felt like 5 minutes the children had their generous portions. We were a large group and the food came at the same time. Tastes perfect and normal portions. The Krabba Nest is worth a trip.

Quaint restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. We were here in a large group of 23 people. Nevertheless, it went very quickly and we all had our food at the same time. The dishes were super tasty. My highlight is pumpkin orange soup and onion roast

The restaurant is really unusual and very nice - but the food has gone down a lot, but the prices have not. The staff are friendly and don't seem stressed, even if there are a lot of guests and that's usually the case - so it's better to reserve a table. Conclusion: Great restaurant, great outdoor area, nice seating. Price/performance ratio when it comes to food, a few adjustment screws should be turned, then everything would be great again!

A quaint place, with great food

I've reviewed many restaurants on my travels, but this is the height of inhospitability. Even after 15 minutes of waiting (yes the staff noticed that we were waiting at the table for service), none of the serving staff came down to take our order. We then got up and left. I can't recommend the restaurant because the staff shows no interest in serving the customers.

The Krabba-Nescht definitely scores points with its rustic, original Swabian ambience. Here you immediately feel as if you have been transported to another time - cozy, warm and charming. The staff's friendliness also helps you feel welcome. Unfortunately, the kitchen can't quite live up to what the atmosphere promises. The onion roast was particularly disappointing, as it was more reminiscent of a simple roast. I expected a lot more, especially given the prices, which are on the higher end. All in all: A visit to Krabba-Nescht is worth it for the cozy ambience and the authentic Swabian feeling, but you shouldn't have too high expectations when it comes to food. Unfortunately, the onion roast in particular has lost its former glory.

Es empfiehlt sich, frühzeitig zu kommen. Es gibt zwar jede Menge Parkplätze, aber diese sind aufgrund der Größe des Lokals bald voll. Die Bedienungen sind nett und aufmerksam. Das bestellte Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker. Der Rostbraten war, wie gewünscht, medium und der Salat frisch und gut angemacht. Es wird Brot zim Salat serviert, aber wenn man eine Beilage wie Pute oder Maultaschen dazu hat, ist dies überflüssig. Kann gerne auf Nachfrage nachgereicht werden oder vorher fragen, ob es gewünscht ist. Der Biergarten ist gemütlich, das Lokal innen zünftig eingerichtet. In den Toiletten könnte etwas mehr Licht sein. Diese waren aber sauber und ok.
