It was very nice and also very tasty.

Last open day this year. Buffet was only offered. Get a seat without a reservation. Staff and management, all extremely friendly and accommodating. The food from the buffet was very tasty without exception. Everything was plentiful. And... there was already kale. Just great. We look forward to 2025. Kind regards to the team. Tatyana and Roger

You can reserve a table at very short notice on Sunday evening The selection of dishes is huge and the food was really delicious - the dog was welcome, the view of the Baltic Sea... friendly service. Absolute recommendation! As an allergy sufferer, I forgot to ask whether the vegan dish contained almonds and logically reacted on the way home. An inquiry the next day was dealt with quickly and in a very friendly and professional manner. Service goes far beyond what you are used to. We would definitely like to come back on our next vacation ❤️❤️❤️

Simply delicious schnitzel, a visit to the Baltic Sea holiday is a must!

First of all, we would like to thank Loki and Bruno for the nice hospitality. The friendliness and warmth was great!! We just felt comfortable. Both days of the weekend would be schnitzel🤭👍 The schnitzels of the individual variations were “simply” delicious. But the XXL made even me despair. The ingredients are fresh and the taste was great. The meat was tender, the vegetables were tasty and the sauces were great too. We are already looking forward to the summer holidays!! I can calm you down. Things continued to be delicious as usual in the summer and now comes the best... 🥁 We were here again in October and warmth was once again very important. The food was really good and the service here is simply good and with joy. We took a few more current photos and hope for next year. You really deserve your hibernation. 👍👍👍 In the summer of 23 things continued with complete satisfaction. Nice .. tasty ... good quality ... great portions ... super filling ... price really good. And it ends in the fall of 23 as always, keep it up with heart and mind As of October 2024, Matthias and his team have not let up. The menu has changed slightly and a few schnitzel variants have been added. We got a nice corner spot with Uschi and Loki, great with the dogs. Thomas served us really well and the schnitzels were great again. Very attentive hosts who rearranged their table plan especially when we asked us to come with a dog. The food, Holsteiner schnitzel with fried potatoes and fish platter with patata brava, was prepared to perfection and tasted great. The restaurant is modernly furnished, but loud due to the architecture. The team was always very friendly and guest-oriented.

The location of the restaurant is great. You have a wonderful view of the beach and the Baltic Sea. The selection of different schnitzel dishes is enormous. There are no wishes left unfulfilled. The portions are very large and it tastes simply delicious. The price-performance ratio is very good. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and competent. We have been there several times and always enjoy coming back.

The proximity to the beach and water, really great and the food, amazing. 5 stars for the kitchen, 5 stars for the service, 5 stars for the well-being 🥰 Ate there 2 days in a row. 1 day in the afternoon, quite empty and manageable, 2nd day in the evening quite full. If you want to dine inside in the evening, you must make a reservation. You can also go outside without a reservation. The portions are decent and you'll be full. The prices are completely good and fit the overall. Always happy again😊

Today we spontaneously had an appetite for schnitzel and were given a place with a view of the Baltic Sea even without a reservation. Reservations are recommended in high season. The welcome was very friendly and our dog was also welcome. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our order. The portions are very large and everything tasted excellent. We'll definitely come back 😊.

A great restaurant with extra good food, super friendly staff, or better said our 2nd living room

The vegan offerings in Dahme are very few and far between, so we were even more pleased that there are several vegan schnitzels on the menu here. We chose Wiener Schnitzel with salad and an extra side of fries. What can I say? It tasted divine: two thin schnitzels, golden and crispy, delicious fries and a large fresh salad. The restaurant is ideally located on the beach promenade and we could even see the sea from our seat at the back of the wall. The service was very friendly, asked several times and was quick. Since we ate here on our first day of vacation, we actually thought we had discovered our favorite restaurant right away. However, after eating we were asked to please put our 3 kilo dog, who was sitting quietly on a blanket on the chair, on the floor. This is an absolute knockout for us. Criterion and therefore a star deduction.

An experience for all schnitzel lovers. It feels like 80 different types and combinations, so there's something for everyone. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit. The evening was rounded off by the Berlin service, so there were no language barriers.

I don't expect a 5 star restaurant from a Schnitzelhaus. For us, the schnitzel (I had schnitzel hot) with fries and salad were very good and tasty. Portions good and the price okay. The service was quick and had nice sayings. A visit to a restaurant that puts you in a good mood! What more could you want?!?! And the beer tasted good too. 😉

After the extensive renovation period, we went to visit the schnitzel chef Matthias and, as expected, it was good and plentiful again. The only downside was the service, which seemed totally stressed. The rest is highly recommended

The restaurant is located directly on the beach and has a beautiful view. The service is quick and very nice. The schnitzels are good and the portion is generous, but for 5 stars that certain extra is still missing. The price of the food and drinks is reasonable. So if you're in Dahme and want schnitzel, you're in good hands at Kum-Luk.

The schnitzels were okay. Unfortunately a bit cold. What I don't expect from a 20€ schnitzel. What didn't work for me personally was that the waiter (out of "fun") made a big deal out of the fact that we had ordered vegan schnitzel. If something like that is offered, I would like to be able to order it without the whole restaurant knowing. Unfortunately, that was very unpleasant for us and is somehow no longer appropriate.

Essen war sehr enttäuschend. Schnitzel waren sehr trocken, bei allen drei Varianten die wir bestellt hatten. Fertigsoße und Bratkartoffeln aus der Tüte. In den Bratkartoffeln befindet sich auch mal eine Pommes, für welche man immerhin nicht nochmal extra zahlen musste. Aber hierbei stellt sich die Frage, wie kann das passieren? Werden die Beilagen, für welche man bei jedem Gericht extra zahlen muss, einfach zusammengeschüttet? Auch die Pommes, einige waren einfach doppelt frittiert, andere nicht. Dies ist eine Frechheit. Dann das Schnitzel, wofür man 20 Euro zahlt ist total überteuert und trocken. Unfreundliche Bedienung. Auf unsere bitte, die Reste des überteuerten Schnitzels bitte einzupacken, antwortete sie "wieso denn wenn es nicht geschmeckt hat?" Das habe ich noch nie erlebt, und das obwohl es vor vielen Jahren noch wirklich zu empfehlen war. Alles in allem, war dies wohl unser letzter Besuch.

Very tasty food and great portions

Hello everyone, Here is our impression of the food last week. We still know the Kum-Luk, it was up near Zedano. At some point it moved down to the north beach. You've gotten bigger and honestly, in my opinion, that hasn't done you any good. Now to our experience. We were with you on Saturday, August 10th, late in the afternoon. Dear Matthias asked us if we had reserved, unfortunately we didn't, we only arrived that day, but he still found a table for us outside. Matthias, however, should have poured straight wine at that moment by saying that everything could take a little longer, that the service is overloaded or that the kitchen is just going under. It's no big deal if you find out about it at the beginning. Because you either prepare for it or you go straight away. But we would have stayed. Now, in chronological order. After about 5 minutes at the table, the order was taken. After about 12 minutes our drinks arrived. After about 40 minutes, the 2 drinks we had ordered shortly before arrived. Shortly afterwards, Matthias moved from service to the kitchen. He had changed his clothes. The reason for this was probably that the kitchen was afloat, because dishes arrived outside that were not complete or for several tables that were also not complete or arrived far behind us. After over 90 minutes our food arrived. Unfortunately my wife's medallions were cold. My schnitzel dish was hot. Guess since mine was over baked the other dish had to wait. Very unfortunate. So we weren't really happy with the evening. Lg ingo

The food was very tasty. The staff very nice. The price is completely OK.

Food was very disappointing. Schnitzels were very dry, in all three versions we ordered. Ready-made sauce and fried potatoes from the bag. The fried potatoes also sometimes contain fries, which at least you didn't have to pay extra for. But the question arises, how can this happen? Are the side dishes, for which you have to pay extra for each dish, simply thrown together? Also the fries, some were simply double fried, others not. This is an outrage. Then the schnitzel, for which you pay 20 euros, is totally overpriced and dry. Unfriendly service. When we asked her to please pack up the leftovers of the overpriced schnitzel, she replied "why if it didn't taste good?" I've never experienced that before, even though it was really recommended many years ago. All in all, this was probably our last visit.

We came here spontaneously today, the staff is very friendly 👍. Our daughter got something to paint straight away to shorten the waiting time. The food is super tasty and was at the table quickly. We would love to come back 👍👍

Very good schnitzels, always a must on vacation

Das Kum Luk ist seit Jahren mit einer der Gründe, warum wir uns immer wieder auf den Sommerurlaub in Dahme freuen! Nicht nur wegen des guten Essens - der Besuch dort macht einfach riesigen Spaß! Dieses Jahr waren wir in den zwei Wochen drei Mal da, und es hätte noch öfter sein können. Wir sind in diesem Urlaub mit elf, beim dritten Mal sogar mit 14 Personen im Restaurant gewesen. Beim letzten Besuch hatten wir ein paar Nachzügler, die das Essen eine halbe Stunde später bestellten. Trotzdem kamen alle Speisen gleichzeitig an den Tisch, und alles war frisch zubereitet. Die Portionen sind sehr üppig, wer nicht so viel mag, kann alles auch als kleine Portion bestellen. Und wenn jemand trotz der großen Auswahl an Schnitzel-Variationen noch einen Sonderwunsch hatte, war das auch nie ein Problem. Inzwischen sind wir insgesamt mehrere Dutzend Male im Kum Luk gewesen, und wir haben immer hervorragend gegessen und uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt! Jeder, den wir mit hierhin genommen haben, war vom Essen begeistert! Das Personal war immer freundlich und ist immer wieder für einen Spaß zu haben. Dafür können wir uns nur herzlich bedanken! Wir wünschen Euch bis zum nächsten Jahr eine gute Zeit, und wir freuen uns schon wieder auf den nächsten Besuch im Kum Luk!

Great schnitzel, nice staff. Completely satisfied. After 5 years of Kum-Luk an update: Schnitzels are still great and the service is also very good. Have been here on every holiday for 5 years and have never been disappointed. Now it's almost like coming home. A holiday without Kum-Luk is actually only half a holiday. So even after 5 years it remains 5 stars and an unreserved recommendation: if you want the best schnitzel from Dahme, you have to come here.

This year we particularly liked the innovation with the separate side dishes, so everyone can decide for themselves what they eat or, unfortunately, leave it behind. A schnitzel restaurant that offers alternative vegan options is something unusual. We were a bit skeptical about the prices and the implementation but the food was simply great!!!! The service was very friendly. The view of the beach and sea is great. We can only recommend the vegan versions, which can also be combined with vegetarian versions if desired. The decision to have to (or should) order the side dishes separately on the grounds of reducing food waste is generally a good idea. However, side dishes were ordered all around and mostly cleared away later. Therefore it is purely a price increase. The food was ok. The service relaxed - flaky as always.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the other positive reviews. Schnitzel Jäger style, quality of the meat is not the best, food was lukewarm, sauce lacked spices and was very watery, if you focus on quantity and not quality, you've come to the right place. For the price you can get better food in many restaurants in town or on the promenade. A pity.

Super tasty and the portions are big too. Since we didn't manage to do everything, they only packed the schnitzels for us, even though I said "please pack everything", so don't be surprised if the food ends up in the trash.....

We were in this restaurant for the first and last time today. My Zurich schnitzel was drowned in cream sauce that was only lukewarm or almost cold. After I complained to the extremely unfriendly waitress, she took my plate away without a word and returned shortly afterwards with the plate. Not a word of apology or anything like that. After "tasting" the sauce again, it was only slightly warmer (far from the hot sauce that I expect as a guest). The employee then came again and asked in a tone that could hardly be surpassed in impertinence, "What's wrong again?" The sauce had just been warmed up in the microwave (!!!)... Absolutely not recommended!

Went to Kum-Luk for the 4th time today, they offer a large selection of schnitzel variants and a lot more. I can highly recommend the schnitzel, whether with fried potatoes/bacon or fries, the portions are large and absolutely tasty. We will certainly come back on our next stay

Delicious schnitzels in a very good size. Side dishes are added separately, but that makes perfect sense, so everyone can decide for themselves what they want with it or whether the schnitzel is enough. At the same time, you are doing something for the environment and your wallet
