We visited Dahme years ago and loved the food. Whenever we're in the area on vacation, we go there for schnitzel. It's a quaint restaurant with a beautiful view of the North Sea.

What a fantastic restaurant, with superb service from the staff. The chef was really very nice and made an effort to find a table for the two of us, even without a reservation. The portions are very generous, enough to satisfy everyone. There's a very large selection of all kinds of schnitzel. Thanks for the great evening, keep up the good work. All the best for the next season.

The ambiance is designed for mass appeal, not particularly cozy or pleasant, but they make up for it with their good food. We went there twice. The portion sizes were really generous, the fries a bit too salty, but they were really tasty. Highly recommended.

First of all, we would like to thank Loki and Bruno for their warm hospitality. The friendliness and warmth were fantastic!! We simply felt at home. We had schnitzel both days of the weekend🤭👍 The various schnitzel variations were "simply" delicious. But the XXL even made me despair. The ingredients are fresh and the flavor was top-notch. The meat was tender, the vegetables flavorful, and the sauces were fantastic. We're already looking forward to the summer holidays!! I can reassure you. The summer continued as delicious as usual, and now comes the best part... 🥁 We were here again in October, and warmth was once again a top priority. The food was incredibly good, and the service is simply excellent and friendly. We took a few recent photos and hope for next year. You truly deserve your winter hibernation. 👍👍👍 In summer 2023, we continued with complete satisfaction. Nice... delicious... good quality... top portions... incredibly filling... really good price. And it ends 23rd as always in the fall, keep it up with heart and soul. As of October 2024, Matthias and his team haven't slowed down. The menu has changed slightly, and a few schnitzel variations have been added. With Uschi and Loki, we got a nice corner seat, great with the dogs. Thomas served us excellently, and the schnitzels were again amazing. This time there was gyro schnitzel, stuffed with spicy... Cheese Clarissi or something like that🙈, and cheese and bacon schnitzel with cream sauce. Very tasty👍👍 Upgrade October 25 It's like arriving at a friend's house😃 After the warm welcome, there was room for two plus two😉 and the menu is also well-stocked for vegetarians, which my dear wife was especially pleased with. Her vegan schnitzel is perfect for her in terms of taste and texture, and my fisherman... okay, maybe I'm boring, but it tastes simply amazing, and we were more than full and satisfied. After dinner, we can recommend Aunt Ella, and anyone who wants to can now enjoy a very good selection of whiskey. Matthias has a great selection there. 👍🏻👍🏻

The food, service, value, and ambiance were all good, and the food was good and plentiful. The only downside to the service was that the Coke arrived unopened, wasn't opened, and was somewhat limited. We will eat there again.

Quaint. Huge portions of schnitzel, delicious fried potatoes. Delicious cocktails, kid-friendly, coloring sheets, child seats. Very friendly service, rather simple ambiance. What's shell? Excellent value for the location.

It was planned for the last evening. I was very surprised by the selection of sauces for the vegan schnitzel. Super tasty and the devil's daughter sauce was really hot. The schnitzels were really well prepared. I definitely have to make them with more fat. It already tastes great, but if you fry them properly in fat like a meat version, it's fantastic. Thanks for your effort with vegan products. Keep it up. I wish there were a lot more Dahme. (For vegetarians, replace the cheese with a meat-free alternative = vegan. So easy.)

Based on the many 5-star reviews, we went to Kum Luk today. It wasn't 5 stars for us; the older gentleman at the counter wasn't very friendly. When I walk into a restaurant, he should approach me and not wait... and then rather brusquely say I could speak to him. His colleague and the manager, on the other hand, were very friendly; perhaps we caught the wrong moment, or perhaps it's the Nordic coolness and normal. 5 stars for the service go to the VERY nice waitress, who noticed everything and apologized immediately! The food: The schnitzels are very generous, the hunter's sauce is well seasoned (pepper!). The fried potatoes were good. The wait from ordering to serving was less than 15 minutes... The ambiance seems a bit chilly; they could have done a lot better. The tables and chairs don't quite match the rest of the style, making it feel a bit like a cafeteria. But that's also a matter of taste.

We arrived on Wednesday at 5 p.m. sharp for the schnitzel buffet, including a table reservation. The buffet opened, a long row of hot-looking containers, salads in small glasses, and desserts like rice pudding with cherries or just cherries. The fried potatoes were lukewarm, as were the vegetables. The schnitzels all tasted the same (they were different types of meat) and weren't really hot. Two people, including two Cokes, cost over €60. That was it for us, very disappointing for a lot of money...

Top-notch food, top-notch staff, top-notch location! Delicious schnitzel dishes with excellent fried potatoes. Plus, warm, humorous, and attentive service. Excellent draft beers. We'll be back!

A lovely restaurant with a covered terrace on Dahme's north beach, specializing in schnitzel. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre and too greasy. Side dishes were charged extra, so a vegan schnitzel with side dishes and no salad easily cost over €20. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right here. But because the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great, I'm still giving it 4 stars.

We absolutely recommend it! You can choose the side dish and the size of the schnitzel. The staff is very friendly and responds immediately if a child's chair is needed or a group needs a larger table. The food and the cocktails were delicious.

The schnitzel buffet is quite expensive, but everything is really delicious, the taste is good too, and the schnitzels are always tender, so I'm not sure whether it's processed meat, i.e. pre-formed pressed meat.

For people who are really hungry and love schnitzel!

We went there for the schnitzel buffet. There are two versions: one for those with a light appetite and one for those with a big appetite. If you're really hungry, you can go back as often as you like. The schnitzel selection is very extensive. Various sauces, vegetables, salad, and dessert. Fried potatoes (the chef needs to work on that a bit), but I'm not sure what the girolles are doing at the schnitzel buffet. All in all, it was good, but the food could have been warmer.

I highly recommend Kum Luk. The chef is very nice and the staff is friendly. A perfect view and delicious food at a reasonable price these days.

Last Sunday, we celebrated a thoroughly successful birthday at Kum-Luk on the North Beach in Dahme – and all in fantastic summer weather. The location is right on the beach, which alone creates a real holiday feeling. We had exclusive use of the front terrace area for our celebration – with the best view of the Baltic Sea and plenty of space for all our guests. The entire team on site was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the day. It was immediately apparent that hospitality is a top priority here. We were well-served with cool drinks, and even special requests were easily fulfilled with a smile. The evening then saw the culinary highlight: super delicious food, especially the schnitzel, for which the restaurant is known – crispy, juicy, and prepared with love. The side dishes were also fresh and flavorful. In between, we rounded off the day with a dip in the water or a relaxing moment in the beach chair next door (which can be booked separately) – the sea is literally on our doorstep here. Conclusion: A fantastic location with a stunning view, excellent food, and a great team – perfect for celebrations or simply a special day by the sea. We'll definitely be back!

Many schnitzel variations, even gluten-free breading with an extra deep fryer. Many sauces, however, are not gluten-free. Variations in the breading, horseradish, sweet mustard, or wasabi would also be interesting.

The food was delicious, but the portions had changed significantly compared to last year (a schnitzel platter for two people). Cordon Bleu was no longer on the menu, nor were the side dishes. These had to be ordered separately (the price of the platter remained the same), and they were smaller than last year and cost extra per portion. Otherwise, it was delicious but unfortunately expensive.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends who vacationed in Dahme last year. The service is very good, and you're served promptly. The food was delicious and plentiful. The overall price-performance ratio is reasonable. We'll be back in Dahme next year and will, of course, eat at this restaurant.

The menu offers a very wide selection. Our schnitzels were a delight. The quick and friendly service is also worth mentioning.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews and received a truly warm welcome. We chose a lovely outdoor spot with our dog. After our long walk on the beach, we were given a relaxed spot to settle in with our dog. It wasn't that busy during our visit. Drinks were brought very quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. Throughout our entire stay, they made sure we didn't lack for anything! The food was delicious, and we were definitely full. 🙃 I would have liked some music outside... but my husband didn't mind. 😅 We definitely recommend Kum-Luk and would love to come back. 👍

I don't quite understand the euphoria surrounding the Schnitzelhaus. Let's take it one step at a time. The decor is rather cold, reminiscent of a dining hall. It's simply geared toward the masses. No flair. The service, all the staff super friendly, top-notch. The selection of schnitzel dishes is huge. Now for my choice: a garlic schnitzel. Thickly topped with onions and cheese. After two hours, I didn't leave the bathroom for two days. Something was wrong with the food. What a shame. My son had the Holstein-style schnitzel, which was very good.

I can only recommend it. The food is incredibly delicious. We'll be going there more often now. Whether it's busy or not, the quality doesn't suffer. Amazing

The schnitzel buffet on Wednesdays is fantastic. We've been to Kum-Luk several times over the past few years and have always been impressed. The schnitzel buffet is truly fantastic, offering excellent value for money. There's something for everyone: turkey and pork schnitzel, and cordon bleau. Side dishes include potato gratin, croquettes, seasonal vegetables, and plenty of delicious sauces. Plus, salad and dessert. If you don't get full, it's your own fault.

My daughter suffers from celiac disease (gluten intolerance) and this restaurant was recommended to me and we were not disappointed...there was a special fryer for the chips and the gluten-free schnitzels were great..if the waiter couldn't answer a question, she asked the kitchen...we've often experienced things differently..we will definitely be back, everything was delicious and everyone there was very nice...keep it up!!!

We arrived relatively late on Saturday, around 8:30 p.m., and were lucky that we were still able to order food. The staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is simple, sometimes a bit noisy. The portions are a reasonable size and well-presented. The quality is okay, though the late hour may have been our problem. I'm giving it 5* because of the friendly service.

Good and plentiful food at fair prices and very child-friendly. I've never seen children's cutlery and gummy bears on the children's plates when setting the table before. Furthermore, the outdoor area is completely covered with parasols. So we sat comfortably in the shade and dined with a view of the sea. Simply fantastic! Update from July 31, 2024 Like every year, we were guests at Kum-Luk again on July 18, 2024. Nothing has changed. Family-friendly, the chef personally looks after the well-being of the guests, and his colleagues are highly motivated and always in a good mood. Incidentally, it's still the same "colleagues" as on our first visit many years ago. For us, this is a sign that everything is harmonious here, even behind the scenes. An important point for us and rather the exception these days. Therefore, a compliment to the boss and also to his employees, who loyally and faithfully support him and the Kum-Luk. We look forward to our next visit.

At the end of the Dahme promenade is the Schnitzelhaus. The selection of schnitzels is huge, and the portion sizes are generous! I like that you can order side dishes separately, depending on your hunger and appetite! Our dog was welcome, and we received very friendly service! We had the Champion Schnitzel and the Garlic/Onion Schnitzel. Both were delicious, and the meat was very tender. Personally, I felt there was too little garlic for a garlic schnitzel ;-) The price/performance ratio is good. So, this is another clear recommendation.

The restaurant is simply but efficiently decorated. A regular haunt for many. A good, varied selection (including schnitzel) at a good price-performance ratio. And it's delicious, too. We'll be back.

Absolutely. Kum-Luk is a must on any Dahme vacation. Friendly service, good food (just let me know if you have gluten intolerance). My family and I haven't had a negative experience here so far. Always happy to return.

The food was delicious, the staff were great and enjoyed their work, and the kids were extremely child-friendly. A high chair was brought out immediately, there were plastic cups for the kids, and the little ones were generally welcome guests.
