The website offers reservations by email. We have lunch reservations for 6 p.m. When the four of us arrived on time, they shrugged their shoulders and said it had been canceled by email - unfortunately not. If you offer reservations by email, you must respond promptly or not offer it at all.

Here you can get the tastiest schnitzels in the city and the conditions are very friendly. Reservations would be an advantage as there are a lot of people going.

We were there spontaneously and all 5 of us had a really delicious meal. Incredibly large selection and friendly service. Whenever we're in the city again, we'll be happy to come back 😃

I've been there twice so far and the food was tasty both times. Unfortunately the waiting time was a bit long the first time and we had to wait longer before we could order. The second time everything was fine, we were served quickly and asked every now and then whether everything was tasty. The ambience is too dark for my taste, especially in the evening. A few more lights would be nice and might make the atmosphere more comfortable. Would come back at any time.

All I can say is everything was super delicious, the food was nice, the service was nice, the atmosphere was...

I think it's a shame and unworthy of a RESTAURANT if you tell your guests that you have to order a drink with every meal.😳 Our two children, 10 and 16 years old, would have liked to order Dinoschnitzel from the children's menu. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible for our older one. "He's already too old. You have to pay attention to the economic viability because of the Corona requirements."!!!🙄 OKAY. However, it would be nice if you let the guest know in advance. For example, a note on the children's menu about the maximum age or on the menu the NUMBER of DRINKS you MUST ORDER. We have never had to experience something like this in any other restaurant and were very disappointed. My son then ordered a senior plate😉 Hospitality looks different. The guest is not king here, all you want is your money! But there are many other good restaurants, e.g. "To the rough Gottlieb" right next door.😉 PS: Your answers to not so good reviews: "I complained about it to Google" 😂😂😂 ... that's what reviews are for I have described our LAST stay as it unfortunately was. Critical ability and self-reflection do not seem to be their strengths! You have probably often been annoyed by a bad review of your business on the Internet!?

There were four of us in the restaurant and the service was friendly and quick. The seats in the beer garden are very quiet in the back yard. The selection of schnitzel variations is very large here, so there is something for every taste. The picture shows the bachelor schnitzel with bacon-wrapped beans, fried potatoes and a fried egg. I can only recommend this.

Excellent food, but a lot for a normal eater. It hurt my heart to leave it there, but I would have burst. Recommendation 1A for me.

Incredibly delicious schnitzels. The menu has such cool and sometimes crazy creations that it is simply very difficult to choose. I would have loved to try all the dishes. But not only the schnitzels are incredibly tasty, the fried potatoes were also delicious. Prices are definitely justified and I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, nice and courteous service and the food was super tasty. The selection of schnitzel dishes is huge. The Lisa Marie dish in particular tasted very good.

The food was, as always, very tasty. The service was good, considering the fact that there was only one waiter for the entire outdoor area, who worked hard. He took care of the orders, the operation, the cleanliness and the service and on top of that he still had a smile on his face and always had a cool saying up his sleeve. The ambience is classic. Everything is a bit tight, but comfortable.

Why has it become fashionable to serve burnt food? For several years now, countless restaurants have been allowing this nonsense. At least my partner only had charred spots on the underside. My “schnitzel” had burnt remains even under the breading. Even if you don't clean the pan, which would already be ridiculous for a €27 schnitzel, I have no idea how you can do that. Still, it's a mess that too many people are content with - otherwise the restaurants would either have to close and put a lot of effort into the preparation.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was extremely rude, almost rude. He wanted to call it quits (even though it was well before the online closing time). He asked us why we wanted to order more (!) and then suddenly there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke... What a shame!

A great location in the middle of the old town of Halle. I found the small backyard particularly impressive, which ingeniously serves as a beer garden and open-air restaurant. Very cozy, super friendly staff and super delicious schnitzel variations that leave nothing to be desired. Vegetarian alternatives are also on the menu. You can hear kitchen noises like the schnitzel being knocked and the dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. A hot tip for people who prefer German cuisine. And what's great is that this restaurant is open from midday until evening. 5 stars for this location!

A nice restaurant with a beer garden in the courtyard. Ideal for warm summer days. The food (you should like schnitzel) is delicious and the portions are huge. But you can also have a double portion or senior plate. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. Price/performance is right. We felt very well looked after and would love to come back!

It was our first time eating at the Schnitzelwirtin restaurant. Price-wise it was okay. The hospitality was good and nice. The food was okay too. Questions regarding intolerances were of course answered and what was left was well packaged to take away. I would say 4/5 - Schnitzel Förster style (unfortunately no picture - with potato wedges and mushrooms) and schnitzel with cauliflower (with probably ready-made potatoes - they were relatively watery, floury and didn't taste particularly good - reminded me of some from the jar) However, after a while we were bothered by the wait staff running past us as they were busy serving us and every now and then the smoke from the staff wafting towards us from the corner. (The idea of ​​the smokers' corner not being visible is still really good)...then we caught a loud child at the next table (even though we are totally child-friendly... he just had a really loud voice and was a little tiring 😅) eating in a relaxed manner It didn't work out so well for us personally that day. We'll just try a different seat next time :) We will be back :)

There is very good food here. Service and price performance is right. We love coming here, but unfortunately it's difficult to get a table, without a reservation there's hardly a chance.

I arrived in Halle tired and hungry, and found this restaurant a few steps away from where I was staying. I would have been happy with an average meal, but instead I got a delicious dinner of aspargus, schnitzel and potatoes, served by a most welcoming waitress who put up with my very elementary German. I liked it so much that I went back for lunch another day, and had an excellent dish of pasta with a pesto-like sauce with more asparagus and an outstanding dark beer. And it’s a very good value. Highly recommended.

I recently had dinner at the Schnitzelwirtin. First of all, the two service staff were very courteous and friendly. The food, on the other hand, was an absolute disgrace. 250 grams of asparagus, partly woody and overcooked, ready-made potatoes and holondaise sauce from the pack for an unbeatable €15.50. Without meat and still more expensive than dishes with meat. The tables were carelessly placed in the courtyard, with large different parasols/party tents above them. A stuffed animal was stuck on the fence. I ate there for the first and last time. Too bad about the money.

The two of us were in the beer garden. Nice restaurant with a cozy beer garden. Very extensive schnitzel menu. We were warmly welcomed and the food was plentiful and good. The service was a bit slow...but the bottom line was that the food came out again. We would love to come back and can definitely recommend the schnitzel landlady.

There was a very beautiful and delicious book there. The employees were all very friendly and nice. The food tasted very tasty and the portions were generous and the price/performance ratio was also completely acceptable. Parking is a bit difficult, it is better to travel by train. I can only recommend a visit there. It would be good to reserve in advance.

We ate here for the second time today and the food is absolutely delicious. The schnitzels are very soft and the breading is crispy. There are no gristles or bits of fat in the meat and the choice of dishes is overwhelming. - Very wide range of flavors. The waitresses are super friendly and work quickly and neatly. All in all a 10 out of 10. It's just a shame that the restaurant doesn't exist in Leipzig. ;b

Delicious schnitzel in a variety of variations

Schnitzelwirtin in Halle, Germany, is fantastic! I had a veal cutlet (Cowboy style)that was so tasty, it felt like it was melting in my mouth. The sides were great, and they happily gave me two extra eggs. The service was awesome, and everyone spoke English and made me feel welcome. Sitting outside in the beautiful weather just added to the whole experience. Definitely recommend it!

It was very disappointing, the potatoes weren't fresh, the asparagus didn't taste like anything at all and wasn't soft or woody. It was done again, but the same result. I would have expected that you would at least only pay half the price, but full price. But everyone else enjoyed it, only mine was really inedible, except for the schnitzel, what a shame!!!!

The food was plentiful, and what's good is that there are identical dishes in smaller portions.

Als mir mein Freund gesagt hat, wo er mit seiner Frau und mir essen gehen will, wenn ich wieder zur Schmerztherapie bin, konnte ich nicht fassen wie viel Variationen es dort gibt. Das Essen war dann ausgezeichnet. Vom Fleisch über die Beilagen war alles top. Dieses Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert.

Were there on a Friday. With pre-order! Small restaurant, everything schnitzel. Making a choice is difficult. Everything looks good. Three types possible: senior, normal and large. Makes a good impression. Accordingly the prices: approx. 10, 20, 30 €. Drinks also still in the “normal” range. All schnitzels taste very good. There are obviously schnitzel specialists in the kitchen. Service very friendly. I can only recommend. Depending on the audience, it can get a little louder. PRE-ORDER ensures a safe spot!

We stopped here for lunch and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The restaurant was pretty full and only 2 empty tables smiled at us and luckily we got one. The nice and courteous ladies were quick and fulfilled our every wish. The schnitzels here are more than tender and taste one of the best I have ever eaten. The large portions are worth the price.
