For a restaurant that mainly deals with schnitzel and steaks, there is a lot of room for improvement.

The "Schnitzelwirtin" is very centrally located, not far from the market square, and easily reachable on foot. The restaurant has its own unique style and is very cozy. Reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is always packed, regardless of the time of day. The selection of schnitzel variations is incredible. The name says it all. The schnitzel dishes we ordered were very generous and absolutely delicious. The price was also reasonable. The staff was always courteous, very friendly, and attentive. A visit to the "Schnitzelwirtin" is a must when staying in Halle.

The schnitzel, the main course, was exceptionally good. The soups and salad dressing could be improved.

The selection of schnitzels is really huge. They come in all sorts of variations, so there's something for everyone. I had the Swiss schnitzel and thought it was very good. The large salad was really huge; you could definitely get full from that alone.

We were in Halle to visit the wool fair, after which we headed downtown. A spontaneous search for a restaurant in the city center led us to this schnitzel restaurant. A restaurant where the schnitzels are audibly pounded, the service is super friendly, not to mention the enormous and curious selection of schnitzel dishes. We decided to go, and from the very first bite, we both exclaimed "mmmmmm." We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back in Halle for the "Schnitzelwirtin" in the near future. Unfortunately, the food on our visit was a disaster. The soup was lukewarm. Then the "almond sauce," which is a simple gravy with almonds, which I personally find disgraceful. The highlight, however, was the "fiery lecho," which was inedible because it was so spicy that even my lips went numb. When the friendly waitress was clearing away and saw that almost all of the lecho was left, she asked if it was that spicy AGAIN. I can't understand something like that at all when it's known that nothing will be done or changed. Anyway, it was definitely our first and last visit there. But the waitresses were very friendly.

I went there for the first time today with my colleague, as it had been recommended to me by many people from Halle. Getting a table there is like getting bananas back in the GDR days. It takes a lot of getting used to. Nevertheless, the wait was worth it. You're literally overwhelmed by the selection of schnitzel dishes; there's a plentiful selection. You can also try other variations. Not just a classic schnitzel. No, there's also an international twist, or for those who like spicy food. Our servers were very friendly and relaxed and got along quite well with us as a group of men. The price-performance ratio is really great. It was a very successful team evening with good food and good service; even a simple portion is enough to fill you up. The restrooms could have been a bit more spacious, but that's the only criticism. Furthermore, four positive points were that all seven dishes were served at the same time, even though the last one was ordered a bit later. This meant we could all eat at the same time. We'd be happy to come back.

Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Plenty of schnitzel selection. BUT The starter's seasoned meat was too runny and the meat was simply too dry. Unfortunately, the main course was completely oversalted, and the breading on the schnitzel wasn't crispy at all; it was rather soggy. It's a shame, the food was much better.

Went here for lunch with friends today, having made a reservation by phone. The food was very tasty, plentiful, and there was no long wait after ordering. The fresh chanterelle mushrooms on offer were also delicious. Very friendly service. The beer garden in the courtyard was also clean and tidy. We'll be back.

We came here on a recommendation and were immediately met with an unfriendly welcome. We were shown to our table quickly. The second server was quick to hand out menus, but without a greeting. Drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious. An iced chocolate we ordered during the second round was slammed onto our table without a word. So, what can I say? I wouldn't eat here again. Good service should be the top priority. What a pity...

Until recently, it was my absolute favorite restaurant in Halle, which I recommended to all my friends and went with many of them. I spontaneously wanted to go there with a friend to celebrate my birthday. We drove all the way from Leipzig for it. We were turned away at around 8:30 PM because the kitchen was closing early today due to the heat. The kitchen normally closes at 9:00 PM, and I wouldn't have complained if it had been 10 minutes earlier, or if we had shown up with eight other people. But there were !two! of us who knew right away what we wanted and so on. I understand that it was very warm that day, but closing half an hour earlier and then rudely telling us we should have called is ABSOLUTELY NOT OK! This has been my favorite restaurant for a long time, which is a real shame.

A truly large selection of schnitzel variations with flexibility for special requests such as other side dishes, etc. Very fast service and excellent food quality (Friday afternoons, wait time for food less than 20 minutes for three people). During peak times such as Friday evenings, it is advisable to make a reservation, as senior citizen groups regularly dine in the restaurant during these times. (Seniors receive special discounts.) For schnitzel lovers, a visit is a feast.

A huge selection of different schnitzels, making it really difficult to decide. I opted for one of the four (!) Cordon Bleu varieties and didn't regret it. It took a bit longer, but when we heard the chef pounding the schnitzels in the kitchen next door, we knew they would definitely be freshly prepared. The wait in the small beer garden was worth it. We both had truly delicious schnitzels with excellent sides and fantastic sauces in a separate sauce boat. There were also several beers on tap to choose from and, of course, various other drinks, all at reasonable prices. We'd love to come back!

We're visiting Halle, and I had this restaurant in mind beforehand. It looked very unassuming from the outside. When we walked in, I realized everything was booked. 😮 But since the weather was great, I politely asked if we could sit in the beer garden. And? The food was truly delicious – I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel with fries, and both were crispy, fresh, and well-seasoned. I was absolutely impressed by the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite live up to the standard. The staff seemed rather unmotivated – not unfriendly, but not particularly attentive or welcoming either. This somewhat spoiled the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Overall, though, it was a nice restaurant with good food. If the service were a bit more engaging, there would be nothing to complain about.

The food was very tasty and the combinations were very interesting, but unfortunately overpriced for the supposedly double portions! On top of that, the schnitzel with asparagus cost almost €23, and then came with three stalks of asparagus. The service seemed more annoyed than anything else!

We've been able to stop by the "Schnitzelwirtin" restaurant many times and always love the very varied, creative schnitzel variations. In this cozy restaurant, or on the very quiet, spacious terrace, you'll receive friendly, prompt, and courteous service from very friendly staff. Today we had some unusual requests, more vegetables, etc. 😉... and these were fulfilled exactly 👍 Since people sometimes tend to be a little less hungry, the "senior portions" are a good option. Our satisfaction is reflected in the fact that we've already made further reservations. (We highly recommend these.) We wish the entire team continued success, good luck, and all the best.

It was our first time there and we were thrilled. At first glance, it seems a bit unassuming, but then it hits the spot with such good service and food. I can't describe it any other way. You can hear the kitchen regularly pounding out the fresh schnitzels, which are super delicious and crispy. Nothing was too greasy, over-seasoned, or under-seasoned. We had a delicious meal at Schnitzelwirtin in Halle! The choice of schnitzels is extensive and varied, something for everyone. The schnitzels were perfectly prepared: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and richly topped or served with delicious side dishes. What also stood out very positively is the attention paid to children. They were given crayons to color their own children's menu and a fun game to keep them entertained while we waited for the food. This allowed us to relax and enjoy our dinner. An attractive place with good service and real German hospitality. Definitely recommended if you are in Halle and fancy a good schnitzel!

Die Panade dadurch viel zu feucht. Die PreiselbeerSahnesoße war nicht schmackhaft. Viel zu süß und die blanke Sahne. Das Letscho eines anderen Schnitzel- Gerichtes scharf, viel zu scharf. Für unseren Geschmack wohlgemerkt. Wir als Paar werden nicht wieder kommen. Preis - Leistung hat viel Luft nach oben.
