Very delicious food and very friendly service.

I ordered a steak, which was stringy and dry. Instead, I got a schnitzel with a tasteless mushroom sauce, which was dry. It's a shame, as it was recommended to us, something we won't be doing.

We went there for dinner with eight people and were very satisfied. The food was very good, the staff attentive, and everything was perfect. The ambiance also deserves 5 stars; we felt very comfortable there. I recommend making a reservation, otherwise I'll probably go there for nothing.

Great fun restaurant in an old wine cellar

I found the service very snippy and not particularly service-oriented. The bottle of wine was simply slammed onto the table, without being poured for tasting or anything like that; we had to do everything ourselves. The food was okay, nothing special. Dessert was extremely small and exorbitantly expensive. We won't be back!

We had dinner by reservation, and I understand why: a very good and generous dinner. I highly recommend it. We also stayed in one of their apartments. I hope to see you soon.

For us (four people), it was an experience to dine here. The restaurant consists of several cellar vaults, beautifully furnished with antique objects. The reservation via email worked perfectly, and we were even lucky enough to be able to dine in without a reservation once. The waiters are incredibly friendly and attentive, and truly hardworking. (The boss is lucky to have such hard-working, wonderful staff.) The food... A poem!!!!! This is by far one of the best restaurants we've ever visited. The food was excellent. The meat was cooked to perfection, the fried potatoes were very seasoned and crispy. The old cellar alone is worth a visit. The collection of antiques not only shortens the wait for the food but is also very interesting. The two ladies who served us were very nice, accommodating, and in a really good mood. We'll be back.

We ate at this truly romantic (outdoor) restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic. The best (during our time) in Traben-Trarbach. The desserts were also amazing. After dinner, we were "sent" to the cellar. It was amazing what we could see there. A truly wonderful evening with fantastic food.

Delicious German dishes made with regional ingredients. A salad buffet is available for a small fee. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are required; your table will then be reserved for you for 1:30. The restaurant is beautifully decorated; the interior takes us back 150 years. We dined here for five days and hope to enjoy the delicious dishes again next year. Thank you!

We had a dinner reservation. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. We each had a pan—a really large portion each. We were there with our baby and felt that even the little one was absolutely welcome. They have great high chairs available.

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the positive review. We wanted to sit outside and were told: "Because of the rain the last few days, we don't feel like getting wet (it was dry until we left)." The veal schnitzel was very thick and not worth €26.90. We wouldn't come again.

The restaurant was actually a disappointment! The food was fresh and well-prepared, but very bland (even the salt and pepper on the table were missing). You get little to no vegetables with it, and the service was subpar. It felt very rushed and impersonal. We waited a long time, and ultimately, we skipped dessert (the table was only half cleared, and we had to ask for the dessert menu ourselves). I think we were a bit unlucky that evening; perhaps some of the staff were sick or something. The restaurant wasn't very busy, after all.

I can't say anything about the rooms; we only went to the restaurant to satisfy our hunger. We became aware of the Alte Zunftscheune through a Google search. The pictures of the ambkente attracted me, and yes, the ambiance is truly worth seeing, and the service staff are very friendly and attentive. However, I didn't particularly enjoy it. I had hoped for fresh, seasonal produce, but was unfortunately disappointed. I had a farmer's potato with a mushroom side salad and cheese sauce topping. Apart from the side salad, which consisted mainly of pickled white beans, carrot strips, and coleslaw, it was edible. Leaf lettuce and 1/6 of a tomato slice were also part of the side salad. For just over 15 euros for this plate, I would have expected more, such as more fresh and crispy side salad and not the pickled stuff. My friends enjoyed it. She had a jacket potato and he had a beef neck steak (a man's thing). This neck steak with fried potatoes looked really good and was a decent portion.

We visited with our baby and toddler, and everything was just perfect. They had all sorts of things to keep our little one entertained—busy boxes with toys, small table games, coloring pages and pencils. There was even a toilet seat reducer and, of course, a changing mat for the baby. It's clear that kids are more than welcome here. The children menu reflected this too. For us adults, it was also a wonderful experience. We sat on the rooftop terrace, which was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere. Small shoot-out to our lovely neighbours who included our toddler to their fun. The food was classic German—fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The wine was lovely, and the service was warm and friendly. When my husband was gone with our baby they noticed and asked if the dessert should be bought to him downstairs. A real gem for both young and old!

We recently happened to be standing in front of the Zunftscheune in Traben Trabach. Even from the outside, the place was very lovely and tastefully decorated with plants and decor. Since it was just before the restaurant opened and more and more people wanted to visit, I quickly made a reservation by phone. We were lucky and, along with another couple, got a lovely table on the beautiful roof terrace. We were served excellent food and had a very lively conversation with our random acquaintances from Büsum. Later, as we left the restaurant, we discovered a cozy, beautiful vaulted cellar. The Alte Zunftscheune was the absolute highlight of our Moselle trip.

We went there last night with a larger group to eat. We had a reservation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We were informed of this when we made the reservation, so it was perfectly fine. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to go again.

The drinks arrived very quickly – that was great! Unfortunately, we then had to wait almost an hour for our food. It's a shame that this wasn't communicated in advance – we could have been better prepared. The first server was also rather rude, which made the start a bit unpleasant. The food tasted okay – a solid 3 out of 5, but nothing particularly outstanding. What also surprised us: card payments are only possible with debit cards – VISA is not accepted. In times when many online banks only issue VISA debit cards, this is no longer up to date. Overall, a mixed visit – with better service, clear communication, and a modern payment system, they could have done much better.

After a lovely first evening at the restaurant, we visited for the second time. A reservation was confirmed for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. So far, everything was fine. However, the announcement that a table would be changed to accommodate a second person at 7:15 p.m., and the bill arrived five minutes later, was more like a mass-processing operation, and it turned out to be our last visit. Very annoying.

Wat een geweldig restaurant is dit! Sowieso als je binnen loopt, zie je allerlei snuisterijen en tierlantijntjes, alles wat verzameld is door de eigenaren de afgelopen jaren. Ze hebben een hele fijne kaart en er is voor ieder wat wils! Je kunt binnen zitten, maar ook boven op het tuinterras. Magisch als je daar ‘s avonds tussen al het groen en de mooie lichtjes zit. Tip: reserveer van tevoren! Dit restaurant is snel volgeboekt namelijk.

The old guild certificate is very rustic and individually furnished. Here you can find equipment, pictures and much more from every guild related to wine growing and everything that goes with it. We were there on a Friday evening with the family (make a reservation) and got a place on the first floor. Advantage: it was pleasantly sublime. Disadvantage: In my opinion, you were unfortunately treated a bit neglectfully by the waitress, who was extremely capable and friendly. Even though you were sitting directly above the bar, you couldn't draw attention to yourself by making noise. The starters, bread with greaves and the cream cheese duo were very tasty. Unfortunately you had to wait almost 60 minutes for the main course. In my opinion, that shouldn't be the case in a good restaurant. My in-laws' dishes were both very good. In our opinion, my wife's dish could have used a little more sauce. I ordered the grill plate with fried potatoes. The potatoes were perfect. The meat, hmm, in my opinion the pork was a bit too dry, the beef was on point and tasty, but the veal steak... Ui... In my opinion the meat had been frozen. At least that's how I felt about the texture. It also seemed very watery and tasteless to me. The crème brulee for dessert was fantastic again, even if it took an eternity to get the waiter's attention.
