Tolles Ambiente, wir waren Am Muttertag da, das Lokal war gut besucht aber alle waren sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr gut.

Wat een geweldig restaurant is dit! Sowieso als je binnen loopt, zie je allerlei snuisterijen en tierlantijntjes, alles wat verzameld is door de eigenaren de afgelopen jaren. Ze hebben een hele fijne kaart en er is voor ieder wat wils! Je kunt binnen zitten, maar ook boven op het tuinterras. Magisch als je daar ‘s avonds tussen al het groen en de mooie lichtjes zit. Tip: reserveer van tevoren! Dit restaurant is snel volgeboekt namelijk.

The old guild certificate is very rustic and individually furnished. Here you can find equipment, pictures and much more from every guild related to wine growing and everything that goes with it. We were there on a Friday evening with the family (make a reservation) and got a place on the first floor. Advantage: it was pleasantly sublime. Disadvantage: In my opinion, you were unfortunately treated a bit neglectfully by the waitress, who was extremely capable and friendly. Even though you were sitting directly above the bar, you couldn't draw attention to yourself by making noise. The starters, bread with greaves and the cream cheese duo were very tasty. Unfortunately you had to wait almost 60 minutes for the main course. In my opinion, that shouldn't be the case in a good restaurant. My in-laws' dishes were both very good. In our opinion, my wife's dish could have used a little more sauce. I ordered the grill plate with fried potatoes. The potatoes were perfect. The meat, hmm, in my opinion the pork was a bit too dry, the beef was on point and tasty, but the veal steak... Ui... In my opinion the meat had been frozen. At least that's how I felt about the texture. It also seemed very watery and tasteless to me. The crème brulee for dessert was fantastic again, even if it took an eternity to get the waiter's attention.

Who can get by with children's portions! Old half-timbered interior, very cozy.

We were there with our children aged 5 and 7. It was a great experience, the staff always made time for the children despite the stress. Because children are allowed to run around there, explore and ask questions. Nevertheless, you have peace and quiet if you don't have children. It simply has charm. We all ate very well. We'll definitely come again. We also wrote in the guest book, which is available there. Thank you very much 😊

Quietly located in Traben-Trarbach. The service is friendly and the design of the restaurant is great, rustic, clean and overall very nice. The food is okay. We waited about 30 minutes for the food, which is great. The food itself is okay. Unfortunately, the schnitzels are not freshly prepared and the potato soup was quite thin. Unfortunately, the meat of the schnitzel and the unbreaded turkey was too dry, this could be done much better.

We went here for dinner and were happy: when you're only in one place for one night and then you chose this great restaurant! Such a nice atmosphere - although it's a huge store, it's cozy thanks to the compartments. The schnitzel was a good portion, but it filled you up too much. Dessert was equally delicious. The staff was really well organized. If you spend the night in town, you have to eat here.

The “Alte Zunftscheune” is a really great location! Reception, rooms, service and food, everything was great! We had our “golden wedding anniversary” that day and our table was even decorated for us! Thank you for this wonderful evening, we were definitely not with you for the last time!!!

The service was incredibly friendly and courteous on two evenings. Although the restaurant was very busy, we were served very promptly and the drinks and food came very quickly. Our food was very tasty and we also asked if everything was OK - GREAT, that's how service works! A beautiful restaurant with a special ambience and great decoration - there is love in the details and a lot of work. My wife and I can recommend the guild barn without reservation! Please reserve in good time, ideally second shift from 7.30 p.m. as the restaurant is very busy.

Unfortunately, I noticed a few negative things at our dinner yesterday. But maybe first to the positive aspects: - The location itself was very nice. - The salad selection was good & tasty. - Dessert was fine. I didn't like the following so much: - There were about five songs playing on a continuous loop, which became annoying after a while. - Unfortunately the service was not very friendly and was rarely at the table. - Unfortunately, the poultry didn't taste good at all and the quality wasn't convincing. - The wine selection was also rather limited.

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern und deren Partnern zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Toll war zuerst, dass auch unser Hund herzlich willkommen war und gleich mit Wasser und Leckerlies versorgt wurde. Das Essen von allen war super gut und obwohl jeder ein anderes Gericht bestellt hatte, kam alles gleichzeitig auf den Tisch. Hierfür ein extra Stern!! Alle waren vom Essen und dem Ambiente restlos begeistert und wenn wir noch länger geblieben wären, wären wir sicherlich noch einmal gekommen. Wenn es uns wieder in die Gegend verschlägt, werden wir hier gerne wieder Essen. Bis dahin liebe Grüße.

In dit heimat museum kom je ogen tekort. Het is oergezellig en je kan er lekker eten. Een aanraderom een bezoek aan de overdekte kerstmarkt te combineren met een etentje in dit unieke restaurant. Ook op andere tijdstippen natuurlijk ;-)

The operators and staff in the Old Guild Barn are really very friendly and attentive. The food is super tasty and the portions are generous. Price-performance ratio is right here. We like coming here.

I would happily give the old guild barn in Traben-Trarbach 5 stars. There is a large selection of high quality and very tasty dishes here. I have been a guest here for many years and now know almost the entire menu. The prices for the dishes are quite expensive, but the quality of the individual dishes is extremely good. The guild barn also offers additional wines from the region. The waitresses are very friendly, quick and attentive. The restaurant has a large number of seats both indoors and outdoors. The old guild barn is very cozy and tastefully furnished and is centrally located directly on the new Rathausstrasse.

A quaint, beautiful restaurant that you simply have to see. You won't know where to look first... a journey back in time. We were thrilled. The food was almost secondary, even though it was very good and plentiful. The value for money was good, and the waitress was very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

Super fun! Good food, friendly people and nice that you can put together your own salad. The interior itself is a small museum. The terrace upstairs is lovely with some shade everywhere, ideal for warm weather. Open until 11am, so open a little later than an average German restaurant.

Great cozy and quaint restaurant. The menu isn't too full, so you can make a quick selection, which I personally think is very good. The food not only looks very good, it also tastes very good. Typical restaurant with a warm atmosphere.. a good meal in an astonishing place. Be careful to check carefully at the entrance, when your bank card is accepted (certain French bank cards are not accepted due to fees levied by German banks, the waiters will explain to you).. an ATM is just around the corner. the street to anticipate the blow. Otherwise, excellent address!

Keine Frage, das Essen war wirklich gut. Allerdings hat uns der Auftritt der Servicekraft, wahrscheinlich Inhaberin, nicht gefallen. Diese trat sehr dominant auf, forderte uns resolut auf, einen Platz am langen Tisch weiter zu wechseln, da sie sonst nicht durch käme zum anderen Tisch, hängte resolut die Jacke, die über dem Stuhl hing, an die Garderobe mit vermeintlich guter Absicht...sie würde sonst ständig darauf treten beim kellnern. Und Zeit zum Auswählen unserer Speisen ließ sie uns auch nicht wirklich...Wahrscheinlich war sie mit dem Kopf schon im Urlaub, da das Restaurant in Kürze schliessen sollte. Eigentlich hätten wir als Konsequenz kein Trinkgeld zahlen sollen, aber...

Dit was een van de beste restaurants waar we in de Moezel hebben gegeten en tevens een mooie locatie. We genoten van lokale specialiteiten, zoals Eisbein, leverworst en bloedworst met zuurkool en de lokale Federweißer. Ze hebben een uitgebreide kaart, dus ook volop andere keuzes als dit niet jouw ding is Het is een populair restaurant, dus reserveren is een must.

A consistently positive experience from the first to the last moment. The welcome was warm, the service was great (99% of all restaurants can take a model from this). The ambience was convincing across the board and the food was delicious.

We discovered this original restaurant by chance while walking and spontaneously tried our luck and managed to get a place!! We liked it so much that we made a reservation for the next day!!! Here you can tell that everything is done with love! It starts with the design and continues through the service, very attentive, friendly staff, and of course the food!! Wir haben heute hier sehr gut gegessen, wir hatten den Grillteller, alle drei Filets ( Kalb, Rind und Schwein) waren perfekt gebraten , die Beilage Pellkartoffel mit Kräuterquark und Speckböhnchen waren auch sehr gut, dazu einen wunderbaren Rosé vom Ort . Die Servicekraft war trotz vollem Haus flink und sehr freundlich, das Ambiente ist sehenswert 👍😀Reservierung empfehlenswert

We went out to eat and paid with our bank card, luckily we took the bill with us... The next day the following email came: You had dinner with us yesterday and I hope you had a nice evening. Unfortunately, it seems that you have paid your bill. Our waitress did this with her money. I would like to ask you to pay this bill to you. Best regards Easter Nadine I immediately sent the receipt back via email... Answer from Ms. Oster: You helped us a lot by still having the receipts. Now we can research with the receipt. That is exactly the amount that the service is missing. I I would like to apologize for your suspicions and would like to invite you for a small appetizer next time if you come to visit us again 😇. You definitely won't want to go there again. The harsh accusation that one cheated the bill is simply not possible.... And it is an impertinence to offer a small appetizer for this suspicion.... I really feel like my honor has been attacked.

The name says it all here! You can really dig in here. The ambience is super rustic and invites you to linger and enjoy home-style cooking. Here you can enjoy good home-style cooking with delicious Moselle specialties. The service was very attentive and didn't leave you languishing for long. Be sure to try the crème brulet for dessert. On a good evening you can easily spend 35 euros per person here. Definitely again!

We were there on a Friday from 8pm, the service was polite and attentive. We sat further back in the rooms. Very cozy. The food tasted very good. We hardly had to wait and the portions were sufficient. We will definitely come back again. It's worth reserving a table online in advance.

If you like traditional German food, this is the place for you. But a table reservation is mandatory! We ate here twice and both times we were full of praise! The waitresses were quick and very friendly. We cannot give a review of the rooms as we only visited the restaurant.

I have never experienced such impudence. We had to leave the restaurant with two crying children. We were not allowed to order dessert because we had exceeded the time for the main course. The food in this restaurant is served in a two-hour shift. The fact is that it took three quarters of an hour between the starter and the main course. These are operational processes over which the guest has no influence. We actually should have gotten the dessert for free because of the long waiting time and the male waiter was extremely unfriendly. We will never visit this restaurant again. Nevertheless, an apology from the owner would be appropriate.

Beautiful location, good food, nice waitress BUT food in a two-shift system (5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.). We weren't allowed to have dessert. After all, we would have been late. (Yes, part of our group arrived at 5:35 p.m.) However, the fact that there was a good hour between the starter and the main course was not our fault. When we wanted to pass this on to the boss as a criticism, we were rejected very unfriendly and harshly by the male staff: “Stand there and wait, the boss is coming soon”. Anyone who treats their guests like this should probably reconsider their career choice. We definitely won't eat here again!

A very nicely decorated restaurant with an affordable, attractive menu and tasty dishes. Unfortunately, the service from the staff was very substandard: they seem to pay more/only attention to the regular guests. It could be that we were just unlucky, but I read more similar comments. TIP: if you want to eat there, make a reservation via the website! It is often very busy!

We spent a very tasty evening in this restaurant. The interior is very rustic and invites you to linger. The dishes are of very good quality! Likewise the wines/drinks. Unfortunately, we have to make a clear deduction in the service, which was consistently attentive but extremely cool. We come from the catering industry ourselves and have rarely seen so little joy/smiles. It's similar in telephone contact; people are obviously relying heavily on the fully booked tables. In principle it's a good sign, but this behavior put us off. We didn't feel very welcome during the visit. As a result, we chose other restaurants during our trip to the Moselle (with much friendlier service) and would not recommend this restaurant despite the good food. Another point of criticism that we rarely address is the (stroppy & unprofessional) responses to similar reviews. Really a shame for an actually great restaurant with actually great food...

We ate very well there. The side salad offered was fresh and could be put together yourself. The Loretta pan I chose was very tasty and plentiful. I was able to easily swap the intended spaetzle for mashed potatoes. I would eat there again at any time. I can't say anything about the rooms because we didn't live there.

Absolutely recommended inn. We had dinner there on our last evening in Traben-Trarbach and were really impressed. We had a nice spot on the roof garden, which was really beautifully kept. Service was great and the food was really great too.

It's okay, but to be honest we expected more. The restaurant is really quaint with all the “nonsense”, but despite having a reservation, we sat at a very narrow table below a loudly creaking wooden staircase, where someone was walking down or up every minute. It wasn't really a relaxed atmosphere. The staff seemed very rushed, which didn't make things any better. The food was okay, but nothing more. We had two meat dishes and a large salad. The salad bar is (as already written in another review) really old school and the selection is quite manageable and monotonous. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back again.

Very cozy restaurant. We sat in the courtyard. This is very beautifully planted. The food was also very tasty and the service was very nice. We were lucky that we got there early, otherwise a reservation is definitely recommended.

The beautiful decor of the jet restaurant and the tasty dishes for a fair price ensure a pleasant experience. Definitely worth a try. The menu is as you would expect in many places in Germany. Limited but solid.
