Charming little restaurant. There are only two tables and you feel like you are being cooked for in the private kitchen. Ruby takes loving care of every guest and puts a lot of passion and love for the food and the guests. I've never experienced anything like that before. Absolute recommendation.

This is an easy 5 stars. My wife and I visited from the USA for the first time and were looking for a place that could give us a good introduction to Mosel wine. Well, look no further, because they have a well curated list and are very enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge. Add in the tapas style plates with a large variety of interesting choices and you have the perfect ingredients for a lovely visit. Great ambiance too!

The opening times don't seem to be entered correctly. We stood in front of a locked door.

We ate here for the first time between Christmas and New Year. Since the restaurant has relatively few seats, you have to reserve a table well in advance; spontaneous visits are unlikely to work. But our joy was even greater that it finally worked. Our conclusion: Delicious Austrian food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly, attentive but unobtrusive service. It's also great that you can choose from 2 sizes for the dishes. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful and large selection of wines from the region and Austria. We will definitely come back. Update 2024: We have now eaten at Litziger Lay several times and it has been wonderful every time.

Looking for a relaxing place, well-kept accommodation and good cuisine, we found what we were looking for here. The statements on the homepage are sincere, honest and correspond to the facts. Ms. Milferstädt and Mr. Michels live for what they do. We had a very well-kept room and decided without further ado to let our taste buds be pampered there in the evening. We had three things as a starter, ox cheeks and fried liver and black pudding with fried potatoes as the main course. We haven't eaten something so delicious for a long time. The ox cheeks were so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary. The taste of the liver and black pudding was outstanding. This is still an old craft prepared with love. Nice, clean hotel that has an ideal location, for example to go to the wine night market like we did.... comfortable beds, soft mattresses in the king-size bed, bathroom, shower, toilet not big but that's all we need for 2 nights... breakfast It was very rich, everything you need was there, the chairs were perhaps a little too uncomfortable as they were kept in a modern style... but that's a matter of opinion... the overnight stay isn't exactly cheap, but if you live outside and need taxis, it ends up being expensive just as much. It's a popular town and the number of rooms is limited... especially during Advent...

Value for money 11/10. Super tasty food at a more than fair price (crispy fried duck on fried noodles with sauce for just €10.20). It couldn't be better! The gentleman who served us was very nice. The menu is filled with the most important and delicious dishes. 4 stars for the ambience: it was a bit cold in the restaurant (winter and we were the only guests there) otherwise also great. Conclusion: I can recommend it to everyone and would love to come back more often.

I spent last weekend with my other half at this lovely hotel. It’s a perfect hotel in a beautiful and quiet location with wonderful staff. The lady and gentleman at reception were both very nice—the lady kindly waited for us to check in at midnight and even microwaved our food in the morning. I would love to go back and explore more of this beautiful place, especially the two museums located right in front of the hotel. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Rustic restaurant with very charming innkeepers. You can still see parts of the old prison. The food is simple and without any fuss, but very tasty. The menu is rather small, but leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to schnitzel variants, there are a few regional and seasonal dishes. However, if necessary, you should reserve a table in advance.

It says open on the internet...we walk 45 minutes to the restaurant...we arrive...winter break!!! Is it so difficult to state and improve it on the internet???? Annoying🥴

Rustic, beautiful restaurant that you have to see. You don't know where to look first... a journey back in time, we were thrilled. The food almost became a minor matter although it was very good and plentiful. The price-performance ratio was right, the lady from the service was very friendly. We'd love to come back.
