We had three things as a starter, ox cheeks and fried liver and black pudding with fried potatoes as the main course. We haven't eaten something so delicious for a long time. The ox cheeks were so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary. The taste of the liver and black pudding was outstanding. This is still an old craft prepared with love. Nice, clean hotel that has an ideal location, for example to go to the wine night market like we did.... comfortable beds, soft mattresses in the king-size bed, bathroom, shower, toilet not big but that's all we need for 2 nights... breakfast It was very rich, everything you need was there, the chairs were perhaps a little too uncomfortable as they were kept in a modern style... but that's a matter of opinion... the overnight stay isn't exactly cheap, but if you live outside and need taxis, it ends up being expensive just as much. It's a popular town and the number of rooms is limited... especially during Advent...

We stayed here for 2 days in connection with a visit to the area and a visit to the Christmas market. Perfect location, quiet and peaceful area, walking distance to everything happening. Newly renovated and great rooms and the hotel in general also very good, very good beds. Fantastic and friendly hosts with very good service and openness. Breakfast is served in a very good and personal way in the restaurant. Highly recommended and a must experience.

Rustic restaurant with very charming innkeepers. You can still see parts of the old prison. The food is simple and without any fuss, but very tasty. The menu is rather small, but leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to schnitzel variants, there are a few regional and seasonal dishes.
