Absolutely fantastic!!! We arrived without a reservation. At first, they said, "Sorry, we're fully booked." BUT they offered to reset a table for us in five minutes. Just as the table was finished, the owner said we could have a window seat upstairs if we wanted. So we did. The vacated table was also reset, and we enjoyed our delicious meal with a view of the bridge and the Moselle River. Excellent service, great food, fair prices, friendly people, and a magnificent view. We'll definitely be back – and this time we'll try to make a reservation in advance. 😅

Yesterday, a group of 10 of us went to this restaurant and ordered 8 schnitzels and 2 burgers. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot one schnitzel when writing down the order, but the owner immediately prepared the missing schnitzel and a Coke, which were included in the bill (as compensation). The food was delicious and everything was freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly. All of our colleagues were satisfied (I can't comment on the person whose food was delayed), and we would gladly recommend it to anyone!

We had a wonderful evening at Brücken-Schenke yesterday with a group of 13 people! Although the restaurant was full, freshly prepared food was served without a long wait. The food is delicious, the restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is very friendly! All guests (including those at other tables) are politely asked if everything is alright, which is a sign of excellent customer service. We highly recommend this place!

Solid burger, great view, good value for money

The (perhaps) tastiest burger in town. For me and my wife, the tastiest burger in a long, long time. I had the Chef Burger and my wife had the "Hawaiian" model. Both were great with perfectly fried fries. The price/performance ratio is totally okay. A real tip... It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance by phone ;)

The schnitzel was very tender and delicious. It just lacked some vegetables or decorations. The atmosphere was great, and of course, it's a unique spot.

We went here for dinner and opted for a burger. The schnitzel also looked very good. The burger was a good portion size, with a 200g beef patty, and tasted wonderful. The restaurant is located in the old gatehouse, under which the traffic passes. From there, you have a good view over the bridge toward Traben.

Had really good experience in this place. The Staff really friendly and welcoming, food affordable and preatty tasty and view one of the best in Traben-trarbach, you can see the whole mosel and traben-trarbach, especially beautiful at noon.

Delicious 👍 Update: We were at the Brücken-Schenke well after lunchtime and received a warm welcome and service. We ordered burgers and fries. A child's special request was fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The burgers were very tasty, the homemade sauce and the fries served with it were delicious, which led to my son's first review before this update, after he briefly borrowed my phone... A visit is highly recommended. Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy the food, ambiance, and service while on vacation on the Moselle. Thank you for the lovely afternoon there.

I had a very good experience. The schnitzel was more than big enough, and the burgers were so delicious you practically didn't need the fries. Quality is more important than price. We'll definitely eat here again when we're in the area.

The burgers are outstanding and for a decent price, including fries. Reservation in advance is highly recommended due to a limited number of tables available in the bridge tower, which offers a great few of the Moselle river.

I personally really liked it because the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious if you like burgers, schnitzel, or salad. I'd recommend trying the grape juice, as it really tastes like fresh grapes and doesn't contain as much sugar as store-bought grape juice. Overall, the restaurant gets a 10 out of 10 rating.

A very nice location with a magnificent view! We were pleasantly surprised by the burger selection. I ordered a curry burger, my husband a Mexican burger. The attentive waitress also conjured up a sweet wine. The burgers were delicious; I think it was the best I've ever eaten. We can happily recommend this place.

Perfect service, the windows overlooking the Moselle were opened especially for us, and the best cheeseburger we've had in a long time. We were happy that we were allowed to bring our small dog. The "dog ban" isn't final. Small, friendly dogs are welcome. The owner just wants to avoid too many dogs causing unrest in the Engen Tavern. Those who can talk have a clear advantage: Just ask, and the friendly owners will surely find a solution that works for everyone! Thanks for the lovely evening.

The Brückenschenke is finally open again. There's a beautiful view from the restaurant we've known and loved for years. Fast, friendly service, and the best hamburger, cheeseburger, and chef burger in a long time. We'll definitely be back!

Clumsy service, extremely long waiting time, and sloppily prepared food. The dining area is also connected to the kitchen, so you leave smelling like a deep fryer for the rest of the day.

Reservations are incorrectly accepted. You have to pour your own drinks, and empty bottles are only cleared away upon request. Food orders are lost, and after 30 minutes, someone comes and takes orders again! The total wait time for food is over an hour. The food (burgers) is rather below average. Once and won't be back. The price/performance ratio is not right.

Hello everyone, taste, view and excellent service. The burgers, prepared according to the chef's special recipe, are delicious; I can recommend them to everyone.

The location of the restaurant is very spectacular. In the gate above the bridge, centrally located and with a great view. It's especially great when it's warm and the windows are open. The rooms are also chic, better than you initially think when you enter. The prices are my biggest drawback. They are a bit too high for me. The burger was tasty and good, but the fries that came with it were few, poorly seasoned and at €13.90 I would have expected a dip. I didn't even dare to try the schnitzels because they're all made from turkey meat and that's out of the question for me given the price. Service was ok, the waitress just didn't seem to understand that I gave her a tip.

The Brücken Schenke is worth a visit from the outside and inside. My meal was good. (Pasta in Gorgonzola sauce with broccoli and parmesan) But it could have been a little more. Burger with fries. (The burger meat was homemade. But the taste was reminiscent of the ready-made frozen goods from the supermarket. The portion of fries was also a bit small.) There are enough drinks. Unfortunately not enough sweet wine. Semi-dry and dry wines from local winemakers. Then why not sweet too? The staff tries hard. Unfortunately still not enough. I think the chef gave us the bill. If the tavern is full that doesn't work! Conclusion: We'll come back in a few weeks and see if anything has improved.

My son an I had a lovely dinner at Brücken-Schenke Burger&Schnitzelhaus. The setting is unforgettable—dining in a tower with a stunning view over the Mosel river. The schnitzel was excellent, simply and honestly prepared, with no arrogance—just good food. The Azerbaijani cook was warm and welcoming, clearly passionate about the food. A hidden gem worth visiting!

We ordered take out and we were pleasantly suprised. The Burgers, both meat and veggies, were very delicious and lovingly made! Fries were also very good! I can not speak to table service due to take out but the order, payment and wait time for the meal were all very pleasent. Best wishes to the new renters of the Brüchenschenke. We will be back.

Very unfriendly service and half of the menu not available. Generally a very small map and when asked whether there was another map, since the map on site did not correspond to the map on the internet, there was only an unfriendly answer that there was no current map on the internet. Went back without anything to eat.
