Wir kamen gegen 17 Uhr an, kurz nach der Öffnung, und die Bedienung fragte uns unhöflich, warum wir so früh da seien. Das Essen schmeckte, als wäre es nur aus Fertigprodukten zubereitet und war viel zu salzig. Besonders die Soßen! Die Aussicht war schön und der Preis nicht zu hoch, aber ich würde hier nicht wieder essen.

Wir waren begeistert von diesem Lokal. Das Essen war fantastisch, wir hatten verschiedene Burger, und alle waren super. Allein die Lage verdient 5 Sterne. Es war total gemütlich, und die Lage oberhalb der Brücke bot einen tollen Blick auf die Mosel.

Einen Tipp von der Unterkunft bekommen und wir waren glücklich, dass wir es gemacht haben. Ein tolles Restaurant, ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und alles selbst gemacht. Das schmeckt man. Selten so einen leckeren Burger gegessen. Überaus freundliches Personal und ein hervorragender Ausblick.. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einer Schulklasse bei der Brücken-Schenke essen. Trotz großem Andrang lief der Service Reibungslos. Kommunikation bei der vorherigen Anmeldung war sehr transparent. Für die Schüler war das ein besonders Erlebnis in der Brücke zu speisen. Der Besitzer war außerordentlich Gastfreundlich. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Brückenrestaurant in Traben-Trarbach und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen! ​Die Speisekarte glänzt mit einer riesigen und tollen Auswahl an verschiedenen Schnitzelvariationen – hier findet wirklich jeder Fleischliebhaber sein Highlight. Ich habe mich für das „Brücken-Schnitzel“ entschieden und es war einfach super lecker! Perfekt zubereitet, saftig und geschmacklich eine glatte Eins. ​Das absolute Highlight unseres Besuchs war jedoch der Tisch: Wir saßen im oberen Stockwerk direkt am Fenster. Von dort aus hat man eine wunderschöne, malerische Sicht auf die Brücke und die Mosel. Das Ambiente und der Ausblick machen das Essen zu einem richtig besonderen Erlebnis. ​Fazit: Großartiges Essen, freundlicher Service und eine unschlagbare Aussicht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit diesem Restaurant; ich habe sogar ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen, weil gerade ein Paar ging. Wenn Sie also spontan kommen, lohnt es sich, etwas zu warten. Die Preise sind angemessen, das Essen selbst ist zwar nicht kulinarisch außergewöhnlich, aber gut. Besonders der Blick von der Brücke ist wirklich fantastisch. Die Besitzer sind außerdem sehr freundlich.

Klein aber Oho! Wir waren zu 10. Das Ambiente war absolut gemütlich und in mitten dieses Kleinen Brückenbogen etwas sehr besonderes. Die Schnitzel und Burger haben uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt und der Chef war sehr sympathisch!

Ohne Reservierung direkt einen Tisch bekommen, auch weil wir sehr früh (direkt um 17 Uhr), da waren. (Keine Ferienzeit in Deutschland und mitten in der Woche, Ende April 2026). Trotzdem wird reservieren empfohlen. In dem Zeitraum in dem wir da waren mussten einige Gäste abgewiesen werden, weil alles belegt/reserviert war. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen! Bekamen einen Tisch mit schöner Aussicht auf die Brücke und die Mosel. Sehr freundlicher Service. Getränke kamen schnell. Auf die Burger musste man kurz warten, aber zurecht! Die Burger waren mega! Sehr lecker. Preise sind gut, gesehen der Lokalität und der Qualität!

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Wir waren am 2. Ostertag da und hatten nicht reserviert. Gleichwohl wurden wir freundlich empfangen und später auch bedient. Schnitzel und Hamburger waren sehr lecker. Die Lage des Restaurants ist außergewöhnlich.

Ich hatte ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis im Brücken-Schenke Burger & Schnitzelhaus. Das Essen war wirklich köstlich – alles schmeckte frisch, war hervorragend zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was das Erlebnis noch schöner machte. Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, ist die Lage. Er befindet sich in einem einzigartigen und fast schon magischen Gebäude mit einem Turm und einem Tor über einer Brücke – man fühlt sich wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn Sie in der Gegend sind.

Ein absolutes Muss in der Stadt! Der Blick auf die Brücke ist einfach atemberaubend. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Schnitzel waren köstlich, typisch französisch und nicht zu schwer im Magen. Uns wurde ein Digestif angeboten. Und für ein Gericht, Bier und diese Aussicht haben wir nur 20 Euro bezahlt!

Die Lage ist von außen sehr schön. Drinnen ist es allerdings recht hell, was die Atmosphäre etwas trübt. Dadurch ist die Sicht nach draußen eingeschränkt. Die Schnitzel hingegen sind fantastisch. Wer einen Salat dazu möchte, kann einen einfachen Salat bestellen. Ansonsten ist es eine tolle Lage, und man sollte früh da sein, da das Restaurant nicht sehr groß ist.

We had a wonderful evening at Brücken-Schenke yesterday with a group of 13 people! Although the restaurant was full, freshly prepared food was served without a long wait. The food is delicious, the restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is very friendly! All guests (including those at other tables) are politely asked if everything is alright, which is a sign of excellent customer service. We highly recommend this place!

Die Brücken-Schenke ist ein absolutes Highlight! Wir sind zu viert als Touristen angereist, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern – und hätten uns wirklich keinen besseren Ort aussuchen können. Die Burger und Schnitzel sind einfach nicht von dieser Welt. Ich hatte das Curry-Schnitzel und es war sooooo lecker – perfekt gewürzt, saftig und einfach ein Genuss. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Qualität und Liebe gekocht wird. Auch die Bedienung war der Hit: super freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Praktisch ist außerdem, dass es Parkplätze direkt unter der Brücke gibt. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

War heute am 15.01.2026 mit meiner Frau dort essen, es war sehr lecker , und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wenn wir dort Urlaub machen, werden wir dort auf jeden Fall wieder einkehren.

Wir waren heute zu siebt dort Essen. Meine Frau und ich hatten jeweils einen Burger. Sie hat außerdem einen Tee bestellt der gar nicht auf der Karte war, den es aber trotzdem gab. Der Service war sehr gut und besonders zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich dort willkommen und als Kunde geschätzt. Der Koch kommt selbst und vergewissert sich nach dem Wohl der Kunden. Zusätzlich schmeckt das Essen sehr lecker und die Preise sind unschlagbar günstig. Sollten wir nochmal in der Gegend sein, kommen wir sicher wieder!

Wir haben glücklicherweise vom Wein Nachts Markt mit einer kurzfristigen Reservierung noch einen top Zweier Tisch direkt am Fenster bekommen. Das Ambiente ist fantastisch, aber das beste kam als wir unsere Burger bekommen haben. Top frisch zubereitet, heiß, saftig und kreativ serviert. Es war eines der besten, wenn nicht der beste Burger den ich je gegessen habe. Und da ich beruflich oft in USA bin, hab ich schon einige Burger probiert;) Auch Chef persönlich und die Bedienung super nett und zuvorkommend. Kurzum ein gelungener Abschluss eines schönen Tages an der Mosel! Nochmals riesen Kompliment an den Chef. Macht weiter so!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My husband and I ate here yesterday. The view is simply beautiful. The food was delicious, the price was right, and the service was exceptionally friendly.

We went there spontaneously on December 6th with four people without a reservation. It worked out perfectly; everyone was very nice, attentive, and friendly. We all had a schnitzel dish, everyone was extremely satisfied, and it was incredibly delicious. You can hear the schnitzels being pounded in the hallway—just as it should be! 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🤗 Absolutely top-notch and highly recommended! 🤗🤩👌🏻👌🏻

Absolutely fantastic!!! We arrived without a reservation. At first, they said, "Sorry, we're fully booked." BUT they offered to reset a table for us in five minutes. Just as the table was finished, the owner said we could have a window seat upstairs if we wanted. So we did. The vacated table was also reset, and we enjoyed our delicious meal with a view of the bridge and the Moselle River. Excellent service, great food, fair prices, friendly people, and a magnificent view. We'll definitely be back – and this time we'll try to make a reservation in advance. 😅

Yesterday, a group of 10 of us went to this restaurant and ordered 8 schnitzels and 2 burgers. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot one schnitzel when writing down the order, but the owner immediately prepared the missing schnitzel and a Coke, which were included in the bill (as compensation). The food was delicious and everything was freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly. All of our colleagues were satisfied (I can't comment on the person whose food was delayed), and we would gladly recommend it to anyone!

Solid burger, great view, good value for money

The (perhaps) tastiest burger in town. For me and my wife, the tastiest burger in a long, long time. I had the Chef Burger and my wife had the "Hawaiian" model. Both were great with perfectly fried fries. The price/performance ratio is totally okay. A real tip... It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance by phone ;)

The schnitzel was very tender and delicious. It just lacked some vegetables or decorations. The atmosphere was great, and of course, it's a unique spot.

We went here for dinner and opted for a burger. The schnitzel also looked very good. The burger was a good portion size, with a 200g beef patty, and tasted wonderful. The restaurant is located in the old gatehouse, under which the traffic passes. From there, you have a good view over the bridge toward Traben.

Had really good experience in this place. The Staff really friendly and welcoming, food affordable and preatty tasty and view one of the best in Traben-trarbach, you can see the whole mosel and traben-trarbach, especially beautiful at noon.

Delicious 👍 Update: We were at the Brücken-Schenke well after lunchtime and received a warm welcome and service. We ordered burgers and fries. A child's special request was fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The burgers were very tasty, the homemade sauce and the fries served with it were delicious, which led to my son's first review before this update, after he briefly borrowed my phone... A visit is highly recommended. Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy the food, ambiance, and service while on vacation on the Moselle. Thank you for the lovely afternoon there.

I had a very good experience. The schnitzel was more than big enough, and the burgers were so delicious you practically didn't need the fries. Quality is more important than price. We'll definitely eat here again when we're in the area.

The burgers are outstanding and for a decent price, including fries. Reservation in advance is highly recommended due to a limited number of tables available in the bridge tower, which offers a great few of the Moselle river.

I personally really liked it because the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious if you like burgers, schnitzel, or salad. I'd recommend trying the grape juice, as it really tastes like fresh grapes and doesn't contain as much sugar as store-bought grape juice. Overall, the restaurant gets a 10 out of 10 rating.

A very nice location with a magnificent view! We were pleasantly surprised by the burger selection. I ordered a curry burger, my husband a Mexican burger. The attentive waitress also conjured up a sweet wine. The burgers were delicious; I think it was the best I've ever eaten. We can happily recommend this place.

The Brückenschenke is finally open again. There's a beautiful view from the restaurant we've known and loved for years. Fast, friendly service, and the best hamburger, cheeseburger, and chef burger in a long time. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect service, the windows overlooking the Moselle were opened especially for us, and the best cheeseburger we've had in a long time. We were happy that we were allowed to bring our small dog. The "dog ban" isn't final. Small, friendly dogs are welcome. The owner just wants to avoid too many dogs causing unrest in the Engen Tavern. Those who can talk have a clear advantage: Just ask, and the friendly owners will surely find a solution that works for everyone! Thanks for the lovely evening.
