The Dutch-speaking waiter was very friendly. He also had a lot of knowledge about the wines. Also gave a lot of information about the production of the wines, etc. I might have forgotten it, but the food was very tasty. The food is shared dining. We had bread with the meat and cheese plate. Then the Patatas bravas, mussels and pork devil. Then to finish, a crema Catalana with a dessert wine. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Hier heerlijk met vrienden buiten op het terras gegeten. Verschillende kleine gerechtjes met heerlijke en verrassende smaken. Vooral een op witte wijn georiënteerde wijnkaart, maar nauwelijks keus aan rode wijn. Heel vriendelijke bediening door een Nederlandse ober. Soms even wachten want het was best druk. ‘s Avonds een feeëriek uitzicht over de Moezel!

Truly an absolute pearl located on the Moselle. We ended up at Jan's by chance and this couldn't have been a better ending to our little honeymoon. Perfect wine list that matches well with the dishes served. We will definitely go back again to see what delicious wines are on the menu. We also really enjoyed the wide choice of dishes without meat. Highly recommended and worth the detour!

Echt een absolute parel gelegen aan de moezel. Per toeval bij Jan terecht gekomen en dit had geen betere afsluiting van onze kleine huwelijksreis kunnen zijn. Perfecte wijnkaart, die goed aansluit op de gerechtjes die worden geserveerd. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug, om te kijken wat voor lekkere wijnen er dan op de kaart staan. Ook de ruime keuze aan gerechten zonder vlees beviel ons enorm. Echt een aanrader en het omrijden waard!

Beautiful wine shop, located directly on the Moselle. Seating on the terrace and a rustic indoor area. Very good wine selection, good food and a nice atmosphere. A real recommendation.

Het is even zoeken naar de ingang, maar eenmaal binnen word je heel gastvrij ontvangen. Menukaart vol Spaans/Europese to share gerechten en gerechtjes met een Aziatische twist én voortreffelijk worden gecombineerd met uiteenlopende wijnen uit de Moesel. Topper voor ons was de aubergine met een halfzoete Riesling. Maar ook de croquettas, gamba's en gestoofd rundvlees (met een witte wijn!) waren top. Fijn hoor om eindelijk eens níet in een van die vele traditionele gutbürgliche Küche te eten. Van harte aanbevolen!

Today we went to Die Mosel Vinotheek & Winebar to have a delicious meal with good wine. The interior is beautifully decorated, but with the nice weather we sat outside with a beautiful view of the Moselle and the Traben district. The menu is based on shared dining dishes and tapas style.  Everything is freshly prepared and it was all very tasty. Bread, croquettes, dates in bacon, a meat and cheese board and delicious spicy beef with various fried vegetables. Naturally completed with very tasty local wines.  Very attractive, inside and outside with very good service, nice music and a beautiful view from the terrace on the 1st floor. P Unfortunately, Google Maps sends you into the wrong street because the entrance is really on Moezelallee.

You will receive very good advice when choosing your wine. However, we didn't eat anything here. Inside it looks very quaint.

Very nice wine bar on the Moselle with a beautiful terrace with a view of the Moselle and an even better interior. Super friendly and relaxed service and mega delicious tapas. Quality of the tapas is really very good. The wine selection is more Riesling-heavy but fits the region. Everything is ok in terms of price. Nice wine shop to have fun and enjoy.

Me and my wife went here yesterday for the second time in the last month. The wine is fantastic, the food and the chef are fantastic. The staff is super friendly. Big thanks to Jan, who made the evening great just like last time. This is the best restaurant in Traben Trabach.

Always looking for the best locations on the beautiful Middle Moselle, I found them here again - of course thanks to my local special agent Lina. Dedicated team, great ambience, I generally like tapas with wine. Since it is also a wine retailer, the quality of the wines is predictable, I check further.

We would also like to say that we believe that the price-performance ratio is simply not right... It's a nice, rustic location, but we often go to absolutely good Spanish restaurants and the tapas that are available here are tasty and good, but charging 8 euros for 8 bouquerones and 16 euros for fried eggplant, which was admittedly very good .50 euros is already a house number... Even 5 bacon-wrapped dates for 9 euros is simply not proportionate, or are we looking at it the wrong way? It was delicious, but I would recommend something different for dinner...

We ended up here in the late afternoon to drink some wine. Super nice terrace close to the water and very friendly service. The waiter gave us many tips to get to know the region. Top!

Und was war ich? Die Arroganz des Service hält leider mit dem eigenen Ansruch nicht mt! Für über 39 jährige nicht empfehlenswert. R. N.

I highly recommend this place for wine lovers, but it's not just for enthusiasts—it's a haven for anyone seeking a unique experience in the area. The atmosphere is truly remarkable, and you might even have the chance to meet some of the most intriguing winemakers around. It was a very pleasant evening, the service was very attentive, the food nothing special (luckily the Moselle doesn't offer you much) Very interesting place with Mosel wines, known and unknown, the latter were the ones that surprised me the most. A place that can help you discover some small producers.

We felt very comfortable in the cozy, family atmosphere. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Even without a reservation and on Easter, a place was kindly set up for us. The prices for wines and tapas may seem a bit expensive, but I think they are justified. We loved the wines that were served to us. We were particularly impressed by the olives marinated in orange peel.

Very harmonious atmosphere and super friendly service. Food concept a bit unclear. Top bread. tapas, often of Spanish origin and then comes Thai-style chicken as the main course. Definitely worth a trip.

Good concept, good quality in the kitchen and cellar and an example of what gastronomy on the Moselle can look like. Trendy, tasty and entertaining = gastronomy with an experience factor.

There is great local wine, perfect advice and a cozy atmosphere. We tried a lot of the dishes and they were all consistently above average to great. The miso eggplant blew my mind! I hope to come back when the weather is better and also be able to enjoy the terrace. Thank you for the great evening!

Rustic ambience with a modern touch, very friendly and attentive service and, if you ask, you can find out interesting information about the numerous wines on offer here. There is a nice selection of delicious tapas and sweet desserts. There isn't anything for those who are really hungry, but I think everyone should be aware of that when visiting a wine shop. The focus is clearly on the wines and without having tried everyone on the menu, I would say that there is something fine for every taste. In short: you can spend a lovely evening here and the restaurant is at the top of the list for our next visit to Traben-Trarbach.

Great place to have something to eat or drink. Products are of high quality and gluten-free bread is possible. Beautiful view over the Moselle on the terrace or cozy inside. In short, highly recommended to visit.

We were there for the first time and were very excited. The service is very courteous and present. The atmosphere is very pleasant, everything fits together and there are many details to discover. The selection of wines is also very interesting, from wineries from the surrounding towns to Moselle wineries a little further away and there is still a lot to discover for Mosel connoisseurs. When it comes to eating, it's important to embrace the concept and always order something that everyone can eat - this way you can turn an evening in a wine bar into a culinary experience.

Went there for the Moselle Christmas market two years ago and we really liked it

Incredibly rustic, cozy and yet elegant atmosphere in the wine shop! The hosts make a very nice impression and impress with their competent advice. The food is something very special. Fusion cuisine (Europe-Japan) with dishes that are rarely found elsewhere. The great wine and great service complete the experience! 5 totally deserved stars!

The food was interesting and the decoration was beautiful. However - being super polite, our sommelier has clearly never been anywhere else other than the Mosel! On his suggestion we ordered a local red wine - no trying, and was flabergasted to see him put the dregs of the wine in my glass and top it up with a new bottle. No tasting it first and needless to say it tasted bitter and all the tannins were floating around making it look like fruit flies in a swamp :-( So decided on a second glass of Merlot (who can seriously get that wrong?). He arrived and just started pouring in the same glass!!!! No fresh glass or pouring a little water in to clean the glass beforehand. Have truely never seen anything like this before. I know for a fact that due to a particular hotel that is frequented by International guests just down the road people stop by but if you love wine and know something about it, this location is definitely not for you.

Essen fantastisch, Weine ebenso, faire Preise und ein sympathisches Team in entspannter Atmosphäre. Schade, dass ich nicht gleich um die Ecke wohne - ich wäre definitiv Stammgast!

A beautiful wine bar on the Mosel. The patio area has a French vibe and views of the Mosel. The inside is even better, very inviting decorations and a lit up Mosel river winding on the floor. The tapas are fresh and delicious. The wine selection is outstanding and the service is friendly. Jan is very knowledgeable about wine and really took the time to find out more about us and what we liked in wine. He offered superb recommendations. A wonderful place for a romantic night out or a day of drinking wine with friends.

Was für ein Erlebnis, wir sind noch immer total beeindruckt von diesem tollen Restaurant mit dem super Service, der klasse Weinkarte und der elegant gestalteten Speisekarte. Wir hatten einen sehr, sehr tollen Abend und werden nicht das letzte Mal hier gewesen sein. Tolle Bar mit schönem Außenbereich. Wir haben eine tolle Weinempfehlung bekommen und ein paar Austern genossen. Die Karte hatte noch viele interessante Angebote bereit. Wir würden definitiv nochmal wieder kommen. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Tolle Adresse!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr gutes Essen, nettes Personal, direkt am Wasser. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl, vor allem an Tapas! Wir konnten draußen sitzen. Der Innenbereich hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Selbst das Interieur in den Damen Toiletten hat Style!

Wir hatten gestern einen phantastisch schönen Nachmittag in „Die Mosel“. Einfach ein ganz toller Gastgeber, toller Service, super Weine mit klasse Empfehlungen, sehr leckeres Essen und ein super schönes Ambiente. Absolut Daumen hoch 👍

Ein winziges Stück Fisch ohne Beilage für 22€, für das die von mir erbetene Aïoli ( da ich auf die dazugehörige Chorizosauce verzichtet habe) extra bezahlt werden mußte, finde ich komplett überteuert. Die extra bestellte Beilage Patatas Bravas kam lange vor dem Fisch. Der Ausblick auf die Mosel ist offensichtlich exklusiver geworden, obwohl die Mosel weiterhin in gleicher Weise dahinfließt.

Super leckeres Essen, sehr gute Qualität, tolle Weine und top Personal.

Sehr aufmerksamer Ober, alte Villa mit Havannachic. In Teilen ueberteuert. Nahebei das Restaurant des Hotels Bellevue, gleicher monetärer Einsatz bei deutlich gesteigerter Qualität.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Tolle Gastgeber, super Lokalität, wir kommen gerne wieder.
