The Dutch-speaking waiter was very friendly. He also had a lot of knowledge about the wines. Also gave a lot of information about the production of the wines, etc. I might have forgotten it, but the food was very tasty. The food is shared dining. We had bread with the meat and cheese plate. Then the Patatas bravas, mussels and pork devil. Then to finish, a crema Catalana with a dessert wine. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

We ate very well here. The goulash here is excellent. Only recommended... We were there twice in 2024 and again ate very well. Keep it up, we'll be back in 2025.

The opening times don't seem to be entered correctly. We stood in front of a locked door.

We were greeted personally by the super nice chef (we were very early) and later the service took over. The food was absolutely great, very tasty and freshly prepared! I've never had such delicious Schupfnudeln before, and the cheese spaetzle was also great! Even the fried onions were homemade! We were very satisfied and will definitely come back! Thanks so much

We were there last night and were just thrilled! Beautiful ambience, great service and above all very fine food!!! We don't go out to eat that often anymore because we go home disappointed too often. But this time it was excellent!!!! And at the end we bought delicious wine so that we can enjoy the wonderful evening with friends at home!!! If we end up in the region again we will come back!!! Looking for a relaxing place, well-kept accommodation and good cuisine, we found what we were looking for here. The statements on the homepage are sincere, honest and correspond to the facts. Ms. Milferstädt and Mr. Michels live for what they do. We had a very well-kept room and decided without further ado to let our taste buds be pampered there in the evening. We had three things as a starter, ox cheeks and fried liver and black pudding with fried potatoes as the main course. We haven't eaten something so delicious for a long time. The ox cheeks were so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary. The taste of the liver and black pudding was outstanding. This is still an old craft prepared with love. I am very satisfied with the hotel overall. I booked the room there on the same day of the overnight stay and received good and important information very quickly. The room was very clean and inviting. I also found the concept of food consumption to be well thought out. Highly recommended!

We were warmly welcomed, but then forgotten relatively quickly. We sat in the back of the restaurant, where rarely anyone stopped by. The waiting time was about 1 hour until the food was in front of us. - the mayonnaise I ordered never arrived and when asked they said “I’m sorry, the store is completely full at the front” The pepper schnitzel was certainly not fresh. 1/2 knuckle was fine.

We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights and ate at the Schnitzel and Burgerhouse Riff on both evenings. You should make a reservation, the restaurant was/was full and we made a reservation and the service ladies came immediately to ask what we wanted. We are not burger fans and on the first evening we decided to have schnitzel gratinated with feta and tomatoes and schnitzel gratinated with ham and Gouda. On the second evening, schnitzel Viennese style and a salad with chicken strips. Plus wine spritzer, bitter lemon and really good wheat beer from Machern Monastery. All dishes were fresh, beautifully decorated, the schnitzels were tender and the salad was crisp. Everything is very tasty and the fries are really great. In short: small, fine restaurant with great service, nice ambience and delicious food with a good price-performance ratio. Highly recommended. Thank you for the 2 lovely evenings

A very nice and quaint restaurant. The food was a poem. There is a salad bar there with a very large selection. A very nice guest room inside. The fish is even taken out of a tank in front of your eyes. The view from the terrace is beautiful.

The beer was lukewarm and therefore undrinkable. The service was poor, the communication with us was very short and grumpy. By the way, the atmosphere outside is great!
