The food at the RIFF restaurant at the Rissbach campsite was truly excellent. You wouldn't necessarily expect it at a campsite, but the burgers were incredibly delicious, with some great, unusual ingredients on a fresh and original bun. They also served various wines from local wineries and regional beer. The value for money was also good, and the service was friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

After a very strenuous hike, we stopped at the Riff Schnitzel & Burgerhouse at our campsite – and it was just what we needed! We spontaneously wanted to make a lunch reservation for 10 people. The team was super friendly and even offered to push tables together – unfortunately, we didn't have enough time. So we ordered takeout for 8 p.m. The food was ready on time, hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious (and all the burgers were vegetarian)! Large portions at a fair price – perfect after a long day in the vineyards. Highly recommended – we'll be happy to come back if we're in the area again!

TOP burger. The last comparable one I had in the US. No pre-made patty, super bun. If you're in the area, definitely try it!👍

Great schnitzel and burger variations, generous portions, and excellent flavor. Reservations are recommended, as they're fully booked every night. Otherwise, you'll have to be extremely lucky to get a table. The service is very friendly, and the rustic ambiance is a feast for the eyes. If you're staying longer, you simply have to try your way through the menu. The Federweißer tonight was excellent. We can only give it 5 stars. 😋

We often order takeout since we live locally. The schnitzel and burgers are amazing. Super tasty and generous portions. The salad is always fresh, and there's a very good selection of dressings. The service (on the phone) is always friendly. There's always a different burger in addition to the regular menu, depending on the season. For example, in the fall, there's the Riesling Burger. Soooo delicious in a seed bun. The price/performance ratio is right for the quality.

We got food today, so we didn't eat in the restaurant. It's clear that you have to make compromises with takeaway. But we were very disappointed. 1x schnitzel "baked" with Gouda and hollandaise sauce? Put a slice of cheese on top and smeared with hollandaise sauce, that was it and nothing more, and then over €18. 1x schnitzel with mushrooms and onions. 🙈Canned mushrooms and a bit of fried onion, that was it and nothing more, over €17. The biggest outrage, the Greek salad. Lots of greens, a bit of feta and black olives, almost €17!!! Well, we love to cook and we want to do well. It's always difficult to eat out, and today it proved to us again: it's better to eat at home. So, in the end, the taste was okay but much too expensive. The price-performance ratio isn't right for us here. Nothing against high personnel, food, and energy costs, but you don't have to overdo it.

The campsite restaurant advertises burgers and schnitzels. But it's incredibly extensive; there's plenty of choice in how they're presented. They also have delicious salads and even something for vegetarians. The drink selection is also excellent. We enjoyed it; you wouldn't expect such an extensive menu at a campsite. If you're in the area, highly recommended! Excellent value for money.

We had our first Mrs. Piggy Burger in 2021 and have never forgotten it because it was so delicious back then. Today it was that time again. We were nearby, and the unforgettable Mrs. Piggy Burger was just as delicious as it was four years ago. We will of course come back next time we're on the Moselle! The campsite restaurant is otherwise freely accessible. We stayed at the neighboring camper site, about a kilometer away. The food is good and there's quite a selection, but the service could be better. They're generally friendly, but having to ask four times to pay is a bit much. I was about to walk away, but you don't.

The schnitzel with fried onions and mushroom bacon was incredibly tasty and fresh. The burgers are also highly recommended. Every meal comes with fresh, delicious fries. The portions are large and the price is definitely reasonable. The service from two friendly ladies was excellent. We'll definitely eat there again. Highly recommended.

Went here for dinner with friends. The playground is great. Nice indoor area for the kids to do crafts and play. Food is good. I expected a bigger schnitzel though. One of those really big schnitzels that takes up the whole plate. The Jumbo schnitzels are bigger.

The ambiance is adequate for a campsite, but there's still room for improvement if desired. The staff are friendly and hard-working. The food is good, and anyone who wants more should go to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Next time, we'll try the schnitzel.

Used it twice as guests of the campsite. The schnitzel and its preparation were good. The sauces weren't homemade and were rather bland. The atmosphere was more like a high-end snack bar, but the prices, especially for drinks, were too high for the setting and the value for money. Staff were extremely friendly.

The burgers were delicious. Everything was fresh. Super tasty fries. The kids were given pens and a coloring book to pass the time while they waited. We'd gladly go again.

Right next to the campsite, great value for money. Burgers, schnitzel, and fries tasted very good. Friendly service. We were very pleasantly surprised.

The burger was okay. The fries were very good. But for the price, I would have expected a slightly better atmosphere. In my opinion, it has a basic campsite chip shop feel. We also found the wait for the food to be quite long. It could definitely be better.

We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights and ate at the Schnitzel and Burgerhouse Riff on both evenings. You should make a reservation, the restaurant was/was full and we made a reservation and the service ladies came immediately to ask what we wanted. We are not burger fans and on the first evening we decided to have schnitzel gratinated with feta and tomatoes and schnitzel gratinated with ham and Gouda. On the second evening, schnitzel Viennese style and a salad with chicken strips. Plus wine spritzer, bitter lemon and really good wheat beer from Machern Monastery. All dishes were fresh, beautifully decorated, the schnitzels were tender and the salad was crisp. Everything is very tasty and the fries are really great. In short: small, fine restaurant with great service, nice ambience and delicious food with a good price-performance ratio. Highly recommended. Thank you for the 2 lovely evenings

Nice service and schnitzel was delicious. Price-quality is perfectly fine. Ordered a delicious schnitzel wiener art. 16.50 euros is a fair price for the home-made, good-tasting piece of meat. No longer the giant schnitzels like before, but more than enough for the average eater. Dessert and drinks were fine, also in terms of price. Food was served quickly in our case.

After a very friendly welcome, we ate a Jägerschnitzel and a Chilicheese Burger. Both dishes were really good. I haven't had such a good burger in a long time, and according to my husband, the Jägerschnitzel was just as good. On top of that, the lady with the light blue hair was very, very likeable. We'd love to come back.

Naja, Essen vor Ort sahh sehr gut auf den Tellern aus. Ich denke wer dort vor Ort was isst wird zufrieden swin. Essen zum mitnehmen ins Wohnmobil ehe nicht empfehlenswert und zu geuer. Der Burger ist lecker und reichlich Pommes dabei ok aber für knapp 50€ 2 Burger und Campingnons too much. Die Champingnons alleine für 7,50€ eigentlich frech. Schade. Hat aber geschmeckt und deshalb 3 Sterne.

There were 6 of us with a dog 🐕 we had a good spot in the corner. Drinks came very quickly. The food took a little longer, but you can wait a few minutes for good food. We all decided on burgers. It was plentiful and filled us all. Free parking spaces were available in the immediate vicinity. The toilets are opposite and are shared with the campers. Dogs are very welcome here 🤗

We ate there several times with a group. Burgers delicious, unfortunately sometimes lukewarm. Served fun on “Euro pallets” with checkered greaseproof paper. Patties were always well done. Schnitzel was delicious, but the homemade hunter's sauce according to the menu was a convenience product, which you could clearly taste. Always a very long waiting time, at least 45 minutes. Staff very friendly.

Perfectly crafted burgers that are always made from fresh ingredients. A variety of side dishes for every taste. Nothing has ever been forgotten when ordering (we always order take-away) and it was always well packaged so that the food arrived home hot. The ambience is that of a campsite restaurant but that's a matter of taste. Nice, courteous service and short waiting times. Always my pleasure!

We were invited from the campsite to the “culinary” 3-course menu in the “restaurant” Riff. They present a pre-salad as a starter, which is actually part of the main course. And either burger or schnitzel as the main course, but the side dishes (french fries/curly fries) cost extra. And for dessert, when the outside temperature is around freezing point, ice cream. And the whole thing in chip shop quality! Pre-made schnitzel and mushrooms from the freezer bag. And a quality wine with it. This either insults the wine or shows its quality (which I cannot and do not want to believe in this region). I'm not only disappointed, but frankly horrified! Only the young waitress was friendly and tried hard, for that we get 4 stars. The alleged boss came out of the kitchen in not exactly clean sweatpants. It was extremely cold in the restaurant because the double-wall slab ceiling is permanently open to the thickness of the beam. So I can't fully understand the positive reviews. And the standard reply sent by the campsite shows me that I was probably not the first to complain.
