Ok, das gibt es bei mir nicht so oft, volle Punktzahl überall und ein lieber Gruß an den Graifen. Wir waren gerade bei bestem Wetter im wunderschönen Gräten gesessen und haben uns verwöhnen lassen. Ganz klar etwas hochpreisiger aber wie immer ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis die wichtigste Rolle. Und das stimmt hier wirklich, vom Brot mit verschiedenen sehr leckeren toppings, über die Hauptspeise und dem erlesenen Wein... Alles super und das Geld Wert. Service der Sein Handwerk versteht und super freundlich ist runden den Abend ab. Danke euch und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Ein HERVORRAGENDES Ess-Erlebnis! Erstklassiger Service und Speisen auf Sterne-Niveau, allerdings mit deutlich größeren Portionen ;-)

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male hier und können einen Besuch nur empfehlen. Das Ambiente im Garten ist im Sommer natürlich die Krönung, aber auch drinnen sitzt man sehr gemütlich. Die wechselnden Menüs sind perfekt abgestimmt und geschmacklich absolut top, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat stets gute Weinempfehlungen parat.

Vor zwei Jahren habe ich schon einmal das Restaurant bewertet und hoch gelobt. An der hohen Qualität der Speisen und am guten Service hat sich nichts verändert. Die Auswahl selbst ist leider auch gleich geblieben und die Karte ist, von ein paar saisonalen Wechseln, unverändert. Dafür sind die Preise extrem gestiegen. Für gefüllte vegetarische Nudeln als Hauptspeise sind € 34 schon eine starke Nummer. Schade, der Reiz eines Restaurants mit raffinierter Küche aber bezahlbaren Preisen ist dahin.

Wir haben heute das 4 Gänge Menü gegessen, es war fantastisch. Inkl. Weinbegleitung - einfach unbeschreiblich. Der Service ist excellence und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alle sehr zuvorkommend, und bemüht. Immer weiter zu empfehlen 👍🏻👍🏻

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen - dazu haben wir eine interessante Weinbegleitung bekommen. Location war ausserordentlich und das Personal professionell mit viel Leidenschaft.

Das Die Graifen Kulinarik ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren nach einer wunderschönen Radtour entlang der Mosel zum Mittagessen dort – und es hätte keinen besseren Zwischenstopp geben können. Wir saßen draußen in entspannter Atmosphäre und konnten die Auszeit richtig genießen. Die Küche ist gehoben, aber jeden Euro wert: kreativ, hochwertig und geschmacklich einfach top. Auch der Service war aufmerksam und sehr angenehm. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – wir kommen definitiv wieder! 🚴‍♂️🍷

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ​​lecker gegessen. Die Antipasti sind absolut empfehlenswert, unglaublich lecker. Aber auch alles andere war perfekt: gutes Essen, freundliche Leute, angenehme Atmosphäre. Super!

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Zum Glück haben wir uns für diese Location entschieden. Es war ein traumhafter Tag - die Location, das Essen, der Service - es blieb kein Wunsch offen.

Wir hatten hier köstliche Pasta mit Spargel, dazu ein gutes Glas Wein. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Allerdings fanden wir den Preis im Verhältnis zur Qualität etwas hoch. Alles in allem ein angenehmes Erlebnis, aber unserer Meinung nach könnte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis etwas besser sein.

WOW – was für ein Essen in Traben-Trarbach! ✨ Schon beim Reinkommen fühlt man dieses exklusive, besondere Ambiente – stilvoll, hochwertig und trotzdem unglaublich angenehm. Und dann das Essen… 🤯 Die Trüffel- & Scampi-Tagliatelle waren einfach next level – intensiv, perfekt abgestimmt und absolut auf den Punkt. Ein Gericht, das man nicht vergisst! Mega Pluspunkt: super hundefreundlich 🐾 – selten so entspannt und herzlich erlebt. Auch der Wein hat uns komplett abgeholt – top Qualität zu einem wirklich starken Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ganz klar: 5 Sterne sind hier eigentlich noch zu wenig. Wir kommen wieder! 🔥🍷

Jedes Mal ein absolutes "Muss" hier einzukehren wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Dieses Mal sogar draußen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Mosel gesessen. Das Essen ist fantastisch, das Ambiente kaum zu übertreffen. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Hervorragend!!! Das Essen war perfekt... Der Service war ebenfalls top! Super nett und aufmerksam aber nie aufdringlich. Die Weinempfehlung hat super gepasst. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, zum wohlfühlen. Für regelmäßige Besuche ist es leider etwas weit für uns. Sobald wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Die Graifen gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich – besonders der wunderschöne Garten im Sommer. Die Speisen überzeugen durchweg und der Service ist aufmerksam und professionell. Gerade als Gastronom schaut man oft besonders kritisch hin, doch hier gibt es für mich nichts zu beanstanden. Die einzelnen Komponenten sind hervorragend aufeinander abgestimmt und man merkt sofort, dass der Koch sein Handwerk versteht. Gemessen an der gebotenen Qualität ist der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt.

Wir waren heute am Frauentag mit der ganzen Familie hier – zuerst zum Frühstück und später noch zum Mittagessen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm und ruhig. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gleichzeitig gemütlich, sodass man gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Das Essen war sehr gut. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch die Gerichte zum Mittag waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr gelungen und schön angerichtet. Auch die Auswahl an Speisen und Weinen hat uns überzeugt. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und auf die Gäste gelegt wird. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen!

Einfach ein Genuss 😮‍💨 ich hab in super vielen Restaurants gegessen, aber hier wurde ich extrem positiv überrascht. 🫶

Essen war sehr gut. Haben kleines Menü bestellt ( Trio Suppe, Entenbrust, Crème Brülle). Als Vorspeise hatten wir Wildschwein Schinken und natürlich ein leckeres Wein dazu. Personal und Service war sehr freundlich. Und Ambiente auch top. Ich empfehle es weiter beim nächsten Besuch gehen wieder hin. Im Sommer ist bestimmt ein toller Garten zum Genießen.

Waren heute hier. Buchung sehr freundlich. Empfang sehr freundlich Ambiente sehr geil. Essen:; ich hatte im Vorfeld gesehen das es Kalbsbäckchen gibt. Leider wurde an diesem Tag die Karte geändert. In dieser tollen Location ist das kein Problem. Unsere Mega freundliche und vor allem kompetente Fachbedienung hat es geschafft das ich mein Kalbsbäckchen bekommen habe. Vielen Dank 🙏🏽 Wir wollten eine Weinempfehlung und die selbe Bedienung (leider hab ich den Namen vergessen) hat uns fast ein Weinseminar bereitet. Jeder Gang war sooooo lecker. Ein Kompliment an die Küche 👍 Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Selbst als wir die letzten waren durften wir in Ruhe auf unser Taxi warten. 100% Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder 🥰

Great food with very competent service and an incredibly beautiful view. Edit: 2025 Apparently, there was a change of management here, which didn't really do things any good. We were here for dinner at the open wine cellar in 2025. While in recent years it has always been a perfectly celebrated experience, this year unfortunately has declined somewhat. The service was friendly but understaffed, and no longer consisted of skilled staff, but rather some unskilled employees, which was immediately noticeable in the quality. The food was still very good, but it was always lacking that last detail in terms of perfection. Especially considering the significant price increase, this is unfortunately no longer proportionate, which we very much regret, as it means our tradition is disappearing.

Excellent food (tagliatelle with truffles, arugula, and spinach, served with a white Burgundy. A delicious little accompaniment from the kitchen before that), the cozy outdoor area with mature trees and a wonderful view of the Moselle. The service was both attentive and pleasant. I am very satisfied and would gladly return.

After waiting five minutes, I chose a seat myself, only to be snapped at for not being allowed to find one myself. Our goal was to eat something, but with great difficulty, we only managed to get a wine list thrown in our laps. We waited over fifteen minutes for a waiter to appear and order a drink. Another fifteen minutes passed before he arrived, even though only three other tables were occupied. The restroom was clean, the interior looked cozy and casually chic, and the food smelled delicious. It was a shame about the service. When it came to pay, they couldn't find the bill, and I almost had to explain how the ATM worked myself.

At first glance, this place gives the impression of being charming, with a nice outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. We were told that all outdoor tables were reserved, only to be suddenly offered one as we were about to leave. From there, the service was extremely disappointing. We experienced long waits just to place an order, and at one point were completely forgotten about and had to order again. On top of that, there was a clear sense of preferential treatment towards certain guests, which felt very unfair and unprofessional. Overall, it was a frustrating visit, and I would recommend finding another place to wine and dine! :)

An enchanting oasis overlooking the Moselle River. Design and tradition are wonderfully combined here. Whether in the playful garden with its local slate look or in the country-style interior, the service was charmingly attentive and prompt. The food consistently delivered what was promised and, moreover, impressed with its top quality. The wine tasting was an exquisite journey through the region and its centuries-old history. A definite must-go

Quiet garden terrace with professional service and kitchen

Absolutely love it, great place to unwind, love carpaccio and salads, wine worth mentioning too. Be aware though-food portions are really big! If planning to visit during the weekend give a call first, because place can be reserved for wedding.

A true insider tip on the Moselle! We had the great pleasure of dining at Die Graifen in Traben-Trarbach – and what can I say? It was fantastic all around! The pasta was cooked to perfection, lovingly presented with fresh arugula, fine cheese shavings, and high-quality ingredients. What was particularly nice was that there was a version with both a light sauce and a tomato sauce – both delicious! The ambiance in the garden is simply gorgeous – an idyllic, tranquil spot overlooking the Moselle, framed by vineyards. Lovingly set tables, shady spots under large parasols, and plenty of greenery make the visit a little holiday moment. The service was friendly, attentive, and very warm. Anyone looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere with a view is guaranteed to be happy here. Highly recommended – we'll be back!

We've rarely had such a pleasant meal and enjoyed such excellent food. The small but fine menu features a selection of excellent wines. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Family-run restaurant. Excellent food and excellent wines. The staff is extremely friendly. We particularly enjoyed the cozy conservatory. The garden with its view of the Moselle River is also a wonderful place to enjoy your meal.

The food and service were exceptionally good. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the evening (Saturday) because a wedding party was celebrating in one area and a huge group was sitting in the other part of the restaurant. This made the entire restaurant extremely loud and uncomfortable, preventing us from enjoying our evening as much as we would have liked. We found this very unfortunate.

Delicious food. The pasta with shrimps was very tasty, but the other main courses were also very tasty.

Mixed feelings experience. We had their full 5 course dinner hence this review will be related to the experience of the entire concept, as it differs from a la carte orders. Service: it was very inconsistent. It all started really great! We did not have reservation and staff managed to get us beautiful table. We are truly grateful to our waitress who made it happened. We started dinner relatively early, so while the restaurant was just getting full the service was very attentive, timely, and well executed. Once the restaurant got full and rush hour began everything dropped. Waiters seemed tense and stressed, orders were overlooked (our wine for main course never came) and food delivery timelines were compromised. Not sure if the kitchen was struggling or the service, but something seemed not working. Maybe because there is an option for set menu and a la carte orders which makes kitchen life very challenging. Food: every other dish was great and others were disappointing. Their salmon tartar was amazing! Beautiful umami flavors set us up for very promising start. Then ravioli with ricotta came. The ravioli itself was so thick that ricotta got kinda lost, and in the middle there was just thick chunk of pasta. Sauce was well prepared and matching. Fish dish was great. The steak was extreme disappointment - it was overcooked :( we addressed it with the staff eventually. Deserts were great. My crème brûlée was amazing!!! In conclusion, a lot of great potential to the place, flavors are there but execution needs improvement as well as service.

The restaurant is super nice inside. The garden is good. The service is terrible. We sat for half an hour and didn't even get a drink, let alone table service. Guests who arrived after us already had their drinks by then.

The ambiance and service were pleasant overall. We chose the 4-course menu, which unfortunately didn't meet our expectations in every respect. The avocado in the appetizer was unripe yet processed, and the sauces for the appetizers seemed unbalanced and could have used more seasoning. The main meat course was excellently prepared – unfortunately, the wait staff couldn't tell us what kind of animal liver it was, which was a shame and meant I didn't get to try it. Clearer communication would have been welcome here. The red wine from Louis Klein deserves special mention – since the winery doesn't offer red wine itself, this was a successful alternative. The strawberry slice for dessert, on the other hand, was visually appealing but rather disappointing in terms of taste. Considering the menu price of €100 per person, I would have preferred more refinement and attention to detail in several aspects. The large, multi-tiered clearing cart that was pushed through the dining room also seemed rather out of place in the upscale setting. Overall, in my opinion, the menu price would be more appropriate at €60.

Op 01 mei is er veel dicht in Duitsland vanwege de nationale feestdag ‘dag van de arbeid’. Bij toeval kwamen bij dit mooie pareltje terecht. Het was een mooie, zomerse avond waardoor we buiten op het grasveld werden geplaatst. Ze hebben twee menu’s: een 3-gangen en een 5-gangen. Je kunt ook andere gerechten kiezen van de kaart, waardoor er voor iedereen een passende keuze gemaakt kan worden. Het eten was voortreffelijk! De bediening zeer vriendelijk (ook voor de hond) en het plekje aan de rivier zorgt ook nog voor een schitterend uitzicht. Het voor mij zeker de 5 sterren wel waard.

Many things were closed in Germany on May 1, but by chance we ended up at this restaurant and they made extra room for us; actually all tables were occupied. We had an excellent meal and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly (also to the dog).

Wir möchten uns bei dem kompletten GRAIFEN-TEAM für die phantastische Silvester-Party von ganzem Herzen bedanken! Location, Essen, Getränke, Service und Musik waren wunderbar! Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen im Alter von Ende 20 bis 60 Jahre - und wirklich alle hatten Spaß an diesem Abend, für jede Altersgruppe wurde etwas geboten.

Es war eine tolle Veranstaltung mit Sektempfang, Austern, Lachshäppchen, Entenpastete und div. weiteren Leckereien. Die Hauptspeisen, u. a. Fisch, Roastbeef etc., waren perfekt zubereitet und die verschiedenen Desserts - hier war mein Highlight die Topfenknödel mit Sabayone - köstlich. Das in Verbindung mit dem bezaubernden Ambiente im großen Saal und vor allem das freundliche, professionelle Servicepersonal haben das Event zu einem unvergesslichen Abend gemacht. Der DJ mit seiner Lightshow hat den Abend abgerundet und uns bis in die Morgenstunden ins neue Jahr begleitet. Wir sind im nächsten Jahr wieder dabei!

We were there last night and were just thrilled! Beautiful ambience, great service and above all very fine food!!! We don't go out to eat that often anymore because we go home disappointed too often. But this time it was excellent!!!! And at the end we bought delicious wine so that we can enjoy the wonderful evening with friends at home!!! If we end up in the region again we will come back!!! Thanks to the great team. Keep it up!

This was our second time there and there was a significant drop in performance compared to our first visit last year. Price-performance is no longer justified. The ambience is very nice, typically cozy and clocky, as you would expect on the Moselle, good beer garden, beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. The waitresses are friendly, but only partially competent. There is a one star service deduction because an ordered dessert was forgotten. Ok, it can happen. The real problem this time, however, was the quality of the food. Here you eat with your eyes in mind, every meal is wonderfully beautifully prepared, but for the high price it only tastes very average: the pasta with shrimp only has three shrimps, little taste, the salad is very well marinated, but the grilled vegetables as a starter unimaginative. The dessert (creme brulee & tiramisu) wasn't really edible. Creme Brüllee was burnt and we had to return it, the second one was just ok. Tiramisu looks great, we left it. Wine solid, selection of drinks good. We paid around €200 for three adults and two children, clearly too much for the food that this time tasted only slightly below average

Nach einem Ausflug an die Mosel und einem Besuch in Traben-Trarbach habe ich schon im Voraus zwei Plätze reserviert. Das Restaurant ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Wir hatten einen Tisch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen im Aussenbereich. Man sitzt i.d. Nähe einer viel befahrenen Straße, was manchmal zu einer unpassenden Lautstärke führen kann. Wir haben Salate bestellt. Für mich war es geschmacklich fast ungenießbar wegen der Bitterstoffe. Auch wenn es ein Salatteller war verlange für fast 20€ eine gute Qualität.

The food here is really delicious. Great ambience. However, we found that the portions were too small and there wasn't enough choice. I also don't like places that have 100 dishes to choose from. There wasn't enough here for our taste. And the portions. Even I, a “light eater,” didn’t really get full. Too bad. Of course we could have ordered a starter and a dessert. But you have to get tired of the dish.

Nice welcome, great ambience, very tasty food

Das Ambiente ist geschmackvoll, zeitgenössisch und ungezwungen. Service war etwas überfordert, da viele Gruppen gleichzeitig anwesend waren und wir im Aussenbereich außerhalb der Girlandenbeleuchtung - so schien es - etwas vergessen wurden. Dafür war das Essen großartig. Von der ausbegackenen Foccaccia, über eine Vorspeise „Gelbflossenthun-Tatar“ bis zu hin zu Kalbsbäckchen ( sehr üppige Portion) oder Loup der Mer als Hauptspeise war alles sehr sehr köstlich. Merci an das Team.

The truffle pasta wasn't very tasty. However, the salad with the goat cheese was great 🤩. The service was very friendly, but we had to ask twice because they forgot that we wanted to pay and forgot to bring the wine.

Die Speisekarte und die durchwegs sehr guten Bewertungen haben hohe Erwartungen geweckt. Aber der Kellner war unprofessionell und das Essen knapp mittelmässig. Das rosa gebratenen Fleisch war well done, der Teller und das Essen kalt. Unser Besuch fand Mitte Juni 2024 statt. Hier muss ein Wirtewechsel stattgefunden haben! Immerhin wurde unsere Beanstandung professionell mit einer Reduktion des Preises erledigt.

Highly Recommended! Very special ambience, unrestricted view of the Moselle from the front part. The rear part is flooded with light through the glass roof. Very nice and individually furnished. The food: a poem! We had Viennese-style veal schnitzel with asparagus and homemade bearnaise as well as homemade tortellini filled with ricotta on asparagus, spinach and pesto with pine nuts. Everything was absolutely excellent. The owner is extremely friendly and personal. A clear recommendation! We'd love to come back!

The lamb was magical. The sommelier offered a wonderful wine that went perfectly with the meat. Respect to the cook for the meat!!!! Thank you to the girls in the hall for your attentiveness and warmth.
