Super delicious food, good and friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Chicken Madras was delicious and quite spicy. Served with white rice. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single sprig of green in sight. The room was very large and lacked ambiance.

I really enjoyed it. I had the Chicken Madras with rice and then the Garlic Naan. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The prices were really reasonable, too!

This Indian restaurant is top class. The boss and her staff are friendly and very accommodating; everything is explained to you if you have any questions about the individual dishes, and special requests are fulfilled without complaint. The food is authentic and simply amazing. From mild to spicy and hotter, there is something for everyone. If you can't find anything you like here, there's no help for that. We love Indian food and know restaurants from Dresden, Berlin and Hamburg down to the Black Forest. At most, four or five Indians can come close to Namaste when it comes to cuisine. So if you want top-quality Indian food, you can't miss Namaste Shiva in Trabern Trabach. Hats off, and keep up the good work and enchant your customers in the future too.

The food was okay; I've had much better butter chicken in terms of taste. Prices are reasonable, but the portions could be a bit larger. The atmosphere was good, but not truly Indian. It wasn't that busy, so the food came relatively quickly.

Indian restaurant in the pedestrian zone of Traben-Trarbach. Excellent food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Just what you'd expect. We highly recommend it and will be back.

The food was actually okay. I should have noticed when reading the menu, though, that the same sauce was used for all the dishes. Whether lamb, chicken, etc., it was always onions, tomatoes, and cream, with slight variations. I've been to India many times and love Indian cuisine. But this was Indian cuisine for German tourists. Nothing Indian. The staff—I assume it was the owner and his sons—could have dressed better. As a host, you don't need to treat your guests so shabbily. They also offer simple, good clothing. Never again for me!

Most restaurants close by 8:30 p.m., so I went to an Indian restaurant. The service was really aloof and rude. I've eaten a lot of Indian food, and I would never subject my body to this again. Traben-Trabach is beautiful; sitting outside was nice.

Nothing special, I was full. My butter chicken was curry chicken with a lump of butter in it. Basmati rice and a few pieces of chicken in red sauce with a pat of melted butter. A no-nonsense restaurant that thrives on tourists.

Friendly staff, good menu, nice wine. All in all, quite positive. The garlic naan was superb. The food was good; it had a lovely, deep flavor. However, it lacked a more rounded flavor profile. The main course wasn't complete without naan. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A real lifesaver in the evening! We were disappointed that no restaurant in Traben-Trarbach would serve us food after 9 p.m. – despite it being peak season. But here we were greeted with a smile, and the owner prepared a delicious meal for us even after the kitchen closed. You rarely experience such warmth and hospitality. Truly great service! Thank you so much – we'll be happy to come back!

The food was quite tasty, although we would have liked it spicier. The portions were okay. We had an appetizer, a vegetarian dish, and a meat dish. Overall, though, it was rather average. I did get a dirty plate, but it was quickly replaced.

Nice Indian restaurant for attractive prices!

My first time eating Indian food. The food was excellently prepared and tasted very good. The ambiance was rather plain and simple, but it's all about the food. The prices were also very reasonable.

A nice restaurant with Indian cuisine. The service was nice and the food was good. There were two of us there. I had vegetarian vegetable tandoori which was delicious. My husband ordered prawn tandoori but wasn't too impressed. You just have to like a lot of spices - it's just traditional Indian cuisine.

I am not an expert but this is my favorite Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Their Chicken Vindaloo is fantastic and they will turn up the heat if you ask them to. The staff are extremely nice and I think the prices are fair. While I stick to my one dish I have tried others and they are delicious as well. Highly recommend!

We stumbled into the restaurant by chance. After entering you were greeted in a very friendly manner and escorted to the table. Our meals (chicken curry and chilli chicken) were sensationally good. If we didn't have to travel so far, we would be there every 14 days. A clean restaurant with very friendly staff and tasty dishes. 👍👍

Very friendly boss and nice service. The lunch curry was ok, the chicken was a bit firm. Unfortunately the naan bread had no taste at all and the rice could have been hotter. I've had much better Indian food. Personally, the “interior” is too simple and a bit bland for me.

I spontaneously went to this restaurant for dinner with my girlfriend. It was okay. However, I discovered a maggot on the table at the end when the dishes were being cleared away. I mentioned it and showed the maggot. The waitress or owner was taken aback and became aggressive and did not respond to my explanations as to how this could be. She said absurd things like it came from the air or from the ceiling and compared it to hair, which shouldn't happen either! Something like that should NEVER happen! I also said she should check the kitchen or the dishes (I'm a hygiene officer) and she felt attacked and avoided everyone. Such outrageous, unprofessional, non-customer-friendly behavior is unacceptable!! My bill was not refunded nor was a waiver given. It could be that the maggot comes from the meat or rice or something similar. Came. Because there is a lot of seasoning, you can't taste bad meat. Please pay attention to what you get!

Getting such high quality and delicious food for this price is a rarity these days. The staff is super friendly and will be happy to advise you if you are unsure. We can only recommend it with all our hearts.

A pleasant change from all the schnitzel restaurants. The outside of the restaurant is not very striking, you could easily walk past it, but it is definitely worth going inside! We had not made a reservation, but there was plenty of room and we were warmly welcomed. We had a delicious meal for a good price. There is a wide choice of tasty Indian dishes, both meat and vegetarian. The spiciness is (fortunately) adapted to Western tastes ;) but it is also possible to order the hotter variant. The restaurant is spacious and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. The service is friendly and helpful. Small point for improvement: the experience would be even more complete with some authentic Indian desserts on the menu.

Was recommended this place by our Airbb host. Liked it. Friendly folk, nice array of food which included vegan friendly items albeit not stated on menu we used the helpful allergy guide. Wish the curry had more sauce but otherwise all good here and nice that plenty of rice is included in your dish. So a good option in town for a veggie / vegan (trust me not many of those here). Disgraceful service, sorry it was the last time I was there.

We were here for dinner with five people. All five different dishes as well as the local drinks tasted excellent and were plentiful. The wine list was regional and balanced. The staff tried extremely hard and gave us a wonderful evening. An optimal price/performance ratio that can hardly be beaten. We Five could have posted this review five times!!!!! Highly recommended 😋😋😋😋😋

We ate at this Indian restaurant twice last week. Tastefully decorated. Lots of choice of very tasty food. Great atmosphere and excellent staff. Highly recommended to go there.

I enjoyed the food very much. I actually wanted to upload pictures with food but unfortunately the light suddenly went out and everything was gone. I forgot to mention, go in and just enjoy the food. Unfortunately I don't know what everyone else likes, but I would come back any time. Very nice people, can only be recommended.

Unfortunately, a somewhat strange atmosphere arose twice. Once we were standing in front of the menu three quarters of an hour before closing time and wanted to go in to ask if we could get something to take away, but it never got that far because we were intercepted right at the door, they would be closing soon, there would be now nothing. Maybe you ask your customers first before brushing them off so directly. The next day we had better luck, when we had finished eating (and it was actually another three quarters of an hour until closing time), this time we were told in a friendly but nevertheless demanding manner that they were about to close and that they wanted to call it a day ( actually much later according to the advertised time) and we should therefore pay straight away. Also rather questionable but good. Service was okay, but the food was very good.

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant after a boat tour on the Moselle. Even though it was very short notice, and on Saturday evening with the best weather, we still got a wonderful table on the small terrace. The restaurant is in a quiet location, no car noise, you can enjoy your meal in comfort. The meals were consistently incredibly tasty and great value for money. As a starter we had small, fried vegetable balls with three types of dip, delicious garlic naan bread and two tikka dishes with rice. Wonderful flavors, not too spicy, large enough portions and everything arrived quickly and very hot. Special mention should be made of the incredibly friendly and quick service, both by the boss and the other waiters! Thank you for the great evening, we'll be happy to come back when we're in the area again!

Even though we had not made a reservation, we were still able to get a table with the help of the staff who moved the reservation layout. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is superb, colorfully spiced and tasty, tender where it should be tender. The cappuccino is also excellent. We will remember our visit for a long time, highly recommended. Experienced worst customer service by far in a restaurant (anywhere). The staff was simply rude with very poor choice of words and does not know how to speak to customers. Would have been negative stars if possible. We regret going there and later reading reviews proves our point. This restaurant can simply be avoided.

Very good Indian food. Friendly staff. Price performance is right. The restaurant is very lovingly furnished. The dishes on offer are typically Indian.

The food was delicious, a nice woman served us and was very accommodating. An employee looked grim all evening, so I felt uncomfortable for a moment when I came in, but the nice lady was able to straighten it out straight away.

Food was completely to my taste! Extra spicy at my request, it wasn't overdone but still good 🔥🔥🔥! I would visit the restaurant again at any time and recommend it to everyone!

Zum zweiten Mal da gewesen, bekanntes fröhliches Gesicht getroffen. Die Lokalität ist komfortabel, gemütlich. Die Gerichte sind eine Einladung zum Olymp der Genuß das heißt: Alle Wünschen werden bedacht erfüllt. Die von der Küche beherrschen das Werk und sind jederzeit zu loben. Sehr empfehlenswert weil dort, ißt man original wie in Indien... 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Wir haben dort ein leckeres indisches Gericht bekommen und waren mit Preis und Leistung zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist eben wie in einem normalen Restaurant. Es könnte etwas gemütlicher sein für ein indisches Restaurant.

Super 👍🏽 freundliches Personal, tolle Beratung/ Empfehlung, Essen war sehr lecker. Vegane Speisen vorhanden und vegetarische Speisen können vegan abgewandelt werden. Also wirklich sehr individuell möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)
