On December 19th We had our Christmas party from the Hotel Carat here, the food was great, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We can only recommend you.

Waiting time despite reservation was 2 hours. Food was lukewarm and not as tasty as expected. Was very disappointing. Table ordered for 1:00 p.m. and food was served at 3:00 p.m. The wait was very tiring and we had actually planned our Christmas coffee at this time. That was nothing and the quality wasn't that great either. However, the service was very friendly, it wasn't her fault. It was supposed to be a nice family reunion, but unfortunately it wasn't at all due to the circumstances. It's a shame and never ever. Actually a real disgrace.

Pier 37 is located directly on a small stream. We found a place at short notice and were greeted and looked after in an incredibly friendly manner. The food was fantastic and definitely worth a visit. Whether dishes with meat, fish or vegetarian, there is something on the menu for everyone. I would love to come here again.

Very nicely located restaurant with quick service and a wide, tasty selection of food. Unfortunately it was too cold for the tables outside. But the overall ambience and service made up for it. We'd be happy to come back next time we're in Erfurt.

Ich war an einem Wochentag zum Mittagessen im Pier und wurde positiv überrascht. Der junge Mann vom Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Auswahl der Speisen war ausreichend und vielseitig, es wurden saisonale Gerichte und Getränke angeboten sowie eine gute Anzahl an vegetarischen und sogar veganen Gerichten. Die Sitzplätze im Außenbereich sind toll - ruhig und trotzdem zentral, mit Blick aufs Wasser. Ich hatte den Kartoffelstrudel (aus der Saisonkarte) und geschmacklich kann ich guten Gewissens zugeben, dass es mit das beste Essen der letzten Tage und Wochen war. Vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Glück und einen guten Tag erwischt oder die schlechten Rezessionen basieren bedauerlicherweise auf einem schlechten Tag. Wie auch immer - Geschmäcker sind zum Glück verschieden. Ich habe das Mittagessen auf jeden Fall sehr genossen und werde mit Sicherheit noch einmal im Pier 37 einkehren.

Pier 37 is a chic restaurant with a great selection on the menu. There is something for everyone. The service is very good, exactly right actually. It's a little pricey, but what you get is definitely worth the price.

A great place with a nice, reserved atmosphere. When the weather is nice it will certainly be very nice on the terrace by the water - we were there in the rain and therefore sat inside, unfortunately with high volume and bad air (there doesn't seem to be any air conditioning). The service was top: very attentive and friendly and at the same time pleasantly reserved. The food: starters great, main courses mixed (we skipped desserts after the main course experience). Starters: “Erfurter Würzfleisch” and “Pier mal drei”. Both taste well developed and are nice on the plate. We didn't have a third starter because there was no vegetarian/vegan alternative (my son didn't want soup). Main courses: “Wiener Krüstchen”, “Lemony Sesame Tagliatelle” and “Braised Ox Cheeks”. The vegan tagliatelle was good, a little bit lemony, but rich and tasty. The pasta was also al dente. The Wiener Krüstchen (a kind of Viennese schnitzel) was tasty, the meat was not plated enough - but still just firm, not tough. The ox cheeks were tender, the dumplings were unspectacular (probably bought in due to the very uniform texture, shape and size) and the glazed carrot sticks were barely glazed, especially. a. in a variety of sizes and therefore partly overcooked, partly al dente and partly raw food-like. Too bad. The presentation of all three main courses was rather old-fashioned - no comparison to the more modernly presented starters. This does not correspond to the price-performance ratio by any stretch of the imagination. The way the main dishes came along, every hobby cook can produce it themselves at home. Overall, unfortunately only 3 out of 5 stars. Good average.

Absolutely recommended! We were immediately offered a table without a reservation. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and we immediately found a place for our large electric wheelchair. The food was just perfect, I have never eaten better salmon. All in all a perfect visit to the restaurant, thank you for that!

A very cozy atmosphere in the old town of Erfurt right on the water. We only consumed drinks, but we were very satisfied. The restaurant is well maintained and of high quality. We'd love to come back for a real meal.

Nice ambience of a former mill on a small river. The waitresses were friendly and attentive, the food was good and the portions were decent. You didn't have to wait long either. Highly recommended :)

The food was OK, I would have expected a little more for the price. The service was friendly, helpful and we didn't have to wait long. The ambience was basically great, but the chairs were uncomfortable at some point.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Leider war der empfohlene Wein deutlich zu warm. Im ersten Lösungsversuch wurden Eiswürfel gereicht. Gut gemeint aber leider verwässert der Wein. Die Vorspeise Ruccola Salat mit Parmesan war frisch, aber leider fehlte das Dressing. Die Tomatensuppe überzeugte uns. Der Hauptgang eher nicht. Das Risotto schmeckte breiig, der Fisch war leider nicht glasig. Die Nachspeise wurde liebevoll dekoriert angerichtet und schmeckte sehr gut. Tolle Location mit Potenzial.

Had ox cheeks, meat was very tender, dumplings and the vegetables were also delicious Restaurant was very full, so the meal took an hour. The waiter was very attentive that evening.

Ambiente toll, Service hervorragend! Die Wienerschnitzel/ (natürlich Kalbfleisch) mit Bratkartoffeln einfach unterirdisch ( für 24 Euro pro Person) das Fleisch war so dünn geklopft, dass die schacklose Panade eh alles dominierte und doppelt so dick war wie das Fleisch, es hat mir den Besuch verdorben.

Unfortunately, I remember that you have to walk over a bridge to the restaurant that has steps and that unfortunately excludes me because I walk with a walker and can't climb stairs with it and unfortunately there are still many restaurants in Erfurt that are for people with disabilities Rollator or wheelchair cannot be reached. I would be very interested to know when we locals with disabilities will be integrated into our city? Many toilets in many restaurants in Erfurt are also not handicapped accessible. We talk a lot about integration, it would be very nice if we, people who have always lived and worked here, could finally go out to eat and not always be excluded because of stairs or impossible toilets

Das Essen war sehr gut (ich hatte Ochsenbäckchen mit Klößen und Gemüse, manche Burger oder Blumenkohlsteak). Sehr reichlich, dass man gut satt wurde, frisch und schön angerichtet. Vorher etwas Brot mit Aufstrich vom Haus. Schönes Ambiente. Etwas Zeit muss man mitbringen, bis das Essen kommt. Jedoch 1 Punkt Abzug, weil der „Aperol Sprizz“ mit einem Alternativlikör („Aperitivo“) gemixt wird statt mit dem Original „Aperol“. Das geht gar nicht meiner Meinung nach.

A beautiful building with a lot of atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, a convincing menu that offers something for everyone, good bistro cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients and a wine list with a good selection of wines from the region (Saale/Unstrut). We had a lovely evening and will be back at the next opportunity, as it was unfortunately too uncomfortable to sit outside, so we'll do that again.

We've been there several times now and have almost always gotten a table because not only is the cuisine excellent, but the staff also makes everything possible possible. Very good regional and cleverly combined cuisine of high quality. Keep it up!

Unfortunately very inflexible service! 4:55 p.m., two tables occupied, the rest reserved. You are offered a table in the drafty passage. When I asked when the reserved tables would be occupied, the answer was 6:30 p.m. Over 1.5 hours in advance, you can't flexibly book the tables. 2 people after about 70 euros less sales! What a shame! Then please don't complain if the guests stay away!

A restaurant in the building of an old mill directly on the Gera. In summer you can also sit outside here. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The menu has something to offer for every taste. We had different burgers and they were simply delicious.

We haven't experienced such nice, attentive staff in a long time. We love going out to eat and it tasted great at Pier 37. The salad was colorful and lovingly prepared, the ox cheeks with the spicy sauce were so delicious. The staff was really cute, in a good mood and always on hand. We'll definitely be back.

Very good food and excellent service

Maybe we had a bad day, but somehow things didn't go so well. It was said in advance: the table is reserved from 6:30 p.m., I said jokingly that if the food isn't ready shortly before then 2 hours should be enough (reserved for 4:30 p.m.) Without giving any spoilers it was 5:50 p.m when we got the food and that's why everything was a little rushed. It was also cold at times - we didn't want to complain about that anymore because we had had a few complaints beforehand, warm beer, the wrong soda... But the most annoying thing was the waiting time. We had a starter, so of course that changes, but there was easily 50 minutes between serving the starter and the main course. We were 7 people. Well, unfortunately that led to a mixed feeling, so we decided not to have dessert because of the time.

Service is nice and the atmosphere is ok. The food looks fancy but is medíocre at Best.

Always a pleasure to be here. The food is absolutely great and so is the service. We eat here regularly as a large group and are always satisfied. The service is always cheerful and friendly. The only tip here would be if the meal takes a little longer (which was announced to us) to give a little update every now and then. Makes waiting somehow more relaxing. Because it was cold, we sat inside this time, but you can also eat outside right by the river like you're on vacation.

Reserved for a class reunion with a few people. Great ambience, good location on the river, fast, friendly service. The menu is regional with good quality food in all of our orders. Top for me : the beef tartare! Unfortunately, it is rarely found in restaurants anymore. We would be happy to come by again at the next meeting in Erfurt.

I really liked it, it's been a long time since I've eaten a real tartare, top quality. Went there with a larger group - around 20 people, no problem, top service, an attractive menu, recommended. We had a long table set up for us on the first floor.
