A lovingly furnished restaurant with a lot of history. Very nice, quick and courteous, the food came very quickly, tasted excellent, the roast was soft, the sauerbraten as we used to know it. We were also offered sauce. And a taxi was kindly organized for us straight away afterwards. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was incredible delicious, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Every bite was a treat! On top of that, the service was exceptional. The staff, especially the lovely lady who attended to us, was so kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. Her friendly demeanor added such a personal touch to the experience. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back if I have a chance to visit this city again!

We had the Thuringian specialties pan twice, great. 2 Thuringian dumplings, 1/2 Thuringian bratwurst, 1 slice of smoked pork, 1 neck steak + sauerkraut + sauce + mustard. All very tasty. In addition, friendly service and, despite freshly made food, not too long of a wait. Price-performance is right.

Hello, the recommendation of the restaurant was worth it. I'm a guest in Erfurt, so to speak. I wanted a reasonable, good dinner. I definitely got that with the seasoned meat on steak. The waiter is very friendly and there is a really nice atmosphere in the cellar. Highly recommended.

We haven't experienced such great service in a long time. The lady who served us found us a table that was as comfortable as possible for someone with walking difficulties, had a very nice chat with us and offered to change a side dish. We felt completely comfortable and not, as is sometimes the case in other places, dismissed. And it tasted very good.

We stopped by spontaneously last night and actually wanted to eat something during the evening. Unfortunately all the seats were occupied, so we could only have a drink at the bar. If you don't make a reservation on Saturday evening, you're just staring down the tubes. After the second beer, something suddenly became available and we had the pleasure of an evening feast. The food was extremely tasty, the prices were quite affordable, the staff was always very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. I really can't say anything negative about it and would come back at any time. Many thanks to the entire team and all the best for the future!!

What a cozy place. Friday evening 6 p.m. All tables occupied. A short wait and we were allowed to sit down with a couple. The service was there very quickly and very friendly. The drinks came very quickly and were delicious. The food order followed and after 20 minutes we had everything on the table. Super tasty, very fresh. The dumplings were amazing. The dining room is comfortably furnished. The staff was very friendly despite many visitors. Keep it up.

Central location on Benediktsplatz. Quaint interior. Very friendly service - both times. The food was a poem! Sauerbraten with apple red cabbage and two Thuringian dumplings - wonderfully tasty, the sauce was topped up again. The roast wasn't sour, but it fell apart because of its tenderness. We were warmly greeted and the staff was very attentive (we had flowers and were immediately offered a vase). Everything was just right here: friendliness, attentiveness and the smile of the lady who served us the food. You gave my mother, whose birthday was that day, such beautiful, rustic moments. Thank you very much for that. ⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟 My, our next visit won't be for another 10 years and we'll be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend this restaurant experience. An absolute recommendation. You won't find any criticism of the quality of the food and service here. We ate sauerbraten and beef roulades - each with Thuringian dumplings and red cabbage. Both were excellent, just as you would expect from truly traditional Thuringian cuisine. The service was on point and courteous. There is one point of criticism for the location: outside you sit in the middle of the pedestrian zone and next to a street where cars occasionally drive. Reasonably priced for today's standards.

A fine restaurant in the middle of the city, right on the Krämer Bridge. We liked it so much that we went there two evenings in a row. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The cuisine is very good with Thuringian specialties. No newfangled frills, just solid home cooking. Vegetarians are also considered. Keep it up.

A completely successful visit! The Haus zum Naumburgischer Keller in Erfurt impressed us with delicious food and warm hospitality. The dishes came to the table quickly and tasted great. We can particularly recommend the specialty pan – an absolute highlight! Some of us recommend fried potatoes as a side dish instead of the dumplings. The staff was attentive and courteous without being intrusive. A big plus: our dog was warmly welcomed, even inside, and was even provided with water and treats. So the brewery is definitely animal-loving! The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. A real tip for anyone looking for good food and delicious beer in a cozy atmosphere - even with a dog! 🐕

I was there with my sister on July 31, 2024, I don't know how to describe it, we were so happy to have found a German restaurant and then it was the very best thing we have experienced in a long time. Disappointing, the environment is neat but not very distinctive, the staff is efficient. The menu is very limited, I didn't like the dishes at all, the meat is tough and not very tasty. The potato croquettes are frozen, tasteless.

We ordered sausages and pork steak with cheese. The nipples were brought with delicious potatoes with bacon, sauerkraut fried cabbage (I haven’t tried it before, but I didn’t really like it either), some fresh vegetables (I wanted more), carrots were dressed with a sweetish sauce (like sour cream). The steak was also served with some vegetables, as were the sausages, and the potatoes were served interestingly. Considering that we had previously lived in Turkey for six months, we liked it. But in fact, the food is ordinary, not wow.

Food was unique, well seasoned, meat was very juicy. Service was very nice. We had nothing to complain about. The boss can be proud of his employees. We will be back. Thanks for the good management.

A very nice restaurant with an outdoor area located directly on the Krämerbrücke. We were served very friendly, the drinks and food came fairly quickly. We once had the roulade with red cabbage and dumplings and the pork steak with spicy meat gratin and croquettes. Everything tasted delicious and we will definitely come back when we are in Erfurt.

Great people watching restaurant with really decent food. Unfortunately people smoke outside at the tables, so you risk being enveloped by smoke. Great beers, delicious roasted pork leg and yummy rot kraut. The apple kraut was a bit too sweet though.

We were guests here once during our vacation last year. This year we will be traveling to Erfurt again for a few days for the Christmas market. Then we will definitely come here again for lunch! The staff and food are simply great. There is no waiting time for drinks or food. The prices are also calculated fairly. We look forward to the next time in December :-)

Although it seems a bit "secluded", the staff were very attentive and we didn't have to wait long to make any further requests, even after we were provided with drinks and food. The food was very tasty - the sauerbraten is definitely recommended, but all the other dishes were also convincing. A big plus point for sauce fans is the extra portion of sauce!

A good restaurant with delicious Thuringian cuisine that invites you to linger in the area. Due to full capacity we had to sit outside, highlighting the need for a reservation. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the food during our visit was very long (approx. 70 minutes), probably due to the training of new staff. It would have been helpful if the service staff had informed us about this. But the service itself was very friendly. Despite the waiting time, the food was delicious, especially the sauerbraten is recommended. The dumplings were probably not homemade, but still tasty.

We were looking for German or traditional Thuringian cuisine and discovered this rustic restaurant near our accommodation. We came without a reservation at around 12 p.m. But then it suddenly became full. Location: Very, very well located at the beginning of the Krämerbrücke and between the small and larger churches, as well as the market square. You can sit inside and outside and watch the goings-on around you. Easy to reach on foot, not so much by car. The atmosphere: Woody rustic with its own charm for details. We immediately felt at home here. It is quaint, but not gloomy and lovingly decorated according to the season. Very tidy and the background noise is also very pleasant as there aren't too many people there. Staff: The nice woman who served us was really a treasure. She served us attentively and in a good mood and even asked, as if she had read our minds, if we wanted more for our sauces. I found that very remarkable. Thanks! Eat: We had sauerbraten and roulades. Very hearty and tasty. The dumplings also tasted good. Normally I don't like these at all, but these convinced even me :D Price: Absolutely appropriate given the local location, the quality and the meat additions. Plus, it simply tasted great. A non-alcoholic Hefeweizen, a Köstritzer, Sauerbraten and beef roulade together cost around €48. Miscellaneous: Animals and dogs are apparently allowed, which I think is great Thank you very much and I can only recommend a visit to everyone!
