A quaint restaurant with excellent Thuringian cuisine. It's accordingly well-frequented.

We stopped by today spontaneously and were very lucky to get a table. So, be sure to reserve in advance. The server was absolutely fantastic! You can tell he's "learned" his trade. The food came quickly and we all enjoyed it immensely. The roulade and dumplings automatically came with extra sauce. We enjoyed our visit and can wholeheartedly recommend the Naumburgian cellar.

A lovely place for a delicious meal... We sat downstairs in the vaulted room, which we really enjoyed... The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was equally delicious... We can wholeheartedly recommend the "Haus zum Naumburger Keller"

This cozy, rustic restaurant is located right next to the famous Merchants' Bridge. The ambiance is homely, just like the food on offer. The roulade and the sauerbraten are particularly recommended. Both are served with Thuringian dumplings and a fantastic gravy, of course. And you can always get seconds if you want. Unfortunately, the chef steadfastly refuses to reveal the secret of his sauce. The spiced meat is also highly recommended. There are also a few fish and vegetarian dishes on the menu, which I haven't had a chance to try yet. But they are surely just as delicious. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. Not just for the food, but also for the extremely friendly service. But: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, ideally even a few days in advance.

We stopped here spontaneously for lunch during our visit to Erfurt. The restaurant is rustically decorated and has a lovely, well-kept outdoor area. We had a very good meal (both roulades with dumplings and red cabbage), and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The prices are entirely reasonable for the quality and size of the portions. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with my predecessors. I was a guest at the Naumburgischer Keller on August 31, 2025. I politely asked if the Thuringian dumplings were homemade. The waitress with the thin, long hair was so annoyed by my question that she answered YES. She then complained to two men sitting at the door about how annoying the guests were again today. Afterward, however, I was confirmed that the dumplings were not homemade but delivered. If you visit Erfurt, you should definitely value homemade dumplings and, above all, friendly service. I recommend simply skipping the place. There are delicious restaurants nearby serving authentic Thuringian cuisine.

The waiters are on the ball and keep everything in order with a smile. Both drinks and food are served promptly. The dishes are homemade and lovingly prepared – you can taste every bite. They ask attentively if everything is okay or if you would like anything else. Cash payments are accepted at the table, and card payments are made at the cash register – hassle-free and uncomplicated. The value for money is unbeatable. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for good food and delicious beer in a cozy atmosphere – dogs are also welcome here! An inn you'll gladly return to.

During my visit on August 10, 2025, I was served a meal I hadn't ordered. As compensation, I was offered a cup of coffee on the house. However, the coffee wasn't served. After 20 minutes, I received the bill—without being asked. My overall impression: "It's not the customer who is king, but the waiter."

A very nice restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in an old-fashioned style with wood, giving it a homey and historic feel. Especially when you read the history of the building on the first page of the menu, you can see the connection between the architectural style and the decor. The outdoor area is also very nice, as you sit in a wonderful ambiance with a beautiful view of the Merchants' Bridge. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food is also incredibly delicious and definitely highly recommended if you want to eat something traditional. Additionally, you can tell that the quality of the food is absolutely fabulous, so there's absolutely nothing to complain about. All in all, I highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you're looking for something delicious to eat and very friendly service.

I think this restaurant is totally overrated. I sat outside and ordered a salad. The salad was poorly prepared; I could have done much better at home. That's really no reason for me to go to a restaurant.

If you're looking for good, home-cooked food of excellent quality and at reasonable prices, this is the place to go. The service is always very friendly and attentive. Whenever we're in Erfurt, we always come here for dinner. The best dumplings and sauerbraten, as well as the roulades, are simply delicious.

Despite being busy, the staff made every effort to accommodate our group. The food was delicious and the service was great. We'd be happy to return!

Seating outside, right at the Krämerbrücke exit, is very nice. The food is Thuringian home cooking, but quite good.

In short... Nice restaurant, centrally located, good food, good service. Everything was perfect that evening. You get what you expect... good, home-style cooking at fair prices. I'll be back and recommend it. Reservations weren't necessary during the week, but they're recommended.

We ate in a rustic setting; the waitress who served us was very nice and friendly. We both enjoyed the food (sauerbraten and Thuringian rösti), and everything came out quickly, as did the drinks. A very good restaurant in a top location with a sensational vaulted cellar. Very calm atmosphere. Nice service. The food is more than sufficient and really tasty. Here you can tell that cooking is done with love. People even ask if the sauce is enough or if you would like something else. We were very excited. The seasoned meat is also very large for its standards.

Good home cooking. As a starter we had onion soup and the spiced meat. Both very tasty. The main course was beef roulade, pork knuckle and the specialty pan, all with Thuringian dumplings. Everything tasted very good and was sufficient. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Happy to come back!

Very nice evening! We got tips from the very friendly staff about where to get the good mustard, the Thuringian pan was great and the building as a backdrop (regardless of whether it's in a half-timbered building or a rustic basement) is the cherry on top :)

You can recommend the Haus zum Naumburgischen Keller without any problems. Both the cozy atmosphere and the very good food rounded off the restaurant visit perfectly. Traditional German or Thuringian food is served. The sauerbraten and beef roulade with Thuringian dumplings and red cabbage were ordered. It should be emphasized that there was also an extra portion of sauce. Both tasted excellent. As a vegetarian dish, you can alternatively recommend the baked potato. For beer drinkers, we recommend ordering the Köstrizer Edelpils on tap, which is very drinkable and tasty. Here you get your money's worth. If you are staying in Erfurt, it is worth stopping here.

The service was friendly, but unfortunately the food didn't come to the table particularly hot. We would have liked to see the vaulted cellar, because the ambience upstairs was well-kept and tidy but not exceptional. You can't complain about the price here.

Spontaneously have lunch in the rustically furnished restaurant, right on the Krämerbrücke. The menu is clear and offers good, home-style Thuringian dishes. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The dish “Thüringer Rostbrätl” was really good and very filling. The drinks menu is also well stocked with several types of draft beer. Recommended.

We come here every year and now we unfortunately discovered that the roulade had become smaller and there wasn't enough sauce for the 2 huge dumplings. Last year people asked if you needed some sauce. Really a shame. But the food was very tasty!

The inn was fully booked at lunchtime during the Advent season, all seats were taken, which can quickly get hectic, but we were served excellently and attentively with very good food (roulade, goulash) and great service from Elisa. Many thanks again to the entire team at the inn!

Es war eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Keller und jeder von uns hat am Ende gesagt, dass die Bedienung, das Ambiente und das Essen TOP waren. Egal ob Rinderroulade mit Klößen und Rotkohl, Thüringer Fleischsülze, der große Salatteller mit Pute oder Rächerlachs mit Reibekuchen - es war alles total lecker.
