What a wonderful beer garden, both in summer and with a beer in the beer garden. As well as in winter, with a mulled wine in the self-designed Christmas market. This restaurant is always worth a visit.

Even without a reservation, we were able to get one of the coveted seats. The staff are TOP and super friendly. In any case, we had a lot of fun. The food (filled dumplings) was delicious, even if we know them differently in Meiningen. But we were very satisfied and above all there were NO caraway seeds in the sauerkraut. I hate that and that's why everything is great. We'd love to come back.

A historic restaurant in the center of the city of Erfurt. Good Thuringian food is offered here with really big dumplings. The space available is a bit sparse, so it's better to book in advance. During the week you are a little more lucky to get a place. Tastes excellent and highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Erfurt. In one part self-service, in the other part a little more classy, ​​there is service and there is a good selection of food and drinks. We always sit in the rustic part. There is simple, good food there. We love: a Thuringian dumpling with sauce. The beer garden and restaurant are highly recommended. The staff could be a bit friendlier.

Of course we wanted to eat Thuringian specialties and after a short search we came across a nice location. Very nice beer garden. Super nice service who brought us our drink orders quickly. Typical local recommendation... Thuringian bratwurst with sauerkraut and Rostbrätel with potato pancakes and onions... the pancakes were not homemade but a finished product, which was confirmed after a short inquiry, but that did not detract from the taste and presentation of the products.

Sitting in the courtyard is very pleasant, especially on a warm summer evening. The home-style cuisine was consistently good, except for the extremely fatty “Röstis”. But the very good and friendly service made up for it…clear recommendation.

When the weather is good you can sit in the lovely courtyard. The roulade was very tasty, the Thuringian dumpling as it should be.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews for the food, we were in the beer garden with a group of 9 people, which is currently cozy. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. The sauerbraten didn't see any vinegar, how you can cook in such a tasteless way is a mystery to me as a chef, the red cabbage isn't worth eating, the toilet is a sludge. For the roulade, almost burnt, dry with the aforementioned red cabbage and also the toilet. Then there was also herring, which was somewhat edible. Thanks, we'll never come back here again

We were there for lunch. It was tasty, but the portions were relatively small for the price. A good selection on the menu, the atmosphere is very nice. The service was okay, although it seemed quite stressed, which was certainly due to the busy lunch table.

We had lunch here because we happened to see that there was also a vegan option. Unfortunately, typical German food in restaurants is very rare and we were even more pleased that there were Thuringian dumplings! The food itself was tasty, but overall it seemed a bit incomplete. Maybe you could counteract this if you served red cabbage or something similar with the dumplings and not just dumplings. Then we would give 5 stars :) The service was great. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and even offered us a place in the shade. Highly recommended :) If the vegan dish is supplemented a bit, we would be happy to come back!

When we talk about, we deal each persons personality and I think this Cafe has been the best so far in all cafes i have visited in the Province. I find it cozy because I feel at home and the ambiance was astonishing.

The price/performance ratio for the food and drinks is absolutely right. Four stars instead of five because the food we had was really good, but not outstanding. If you want to eat typical Thuringian food, this is the place for you.

This time we didn't visit the restaurant but the beer garden. Self service but no problem. Very friendly staff at the drinks and food counter. Bratwurst extremely tasty and absolutely brilliant the dumpling with sauce!!!! The atmosphere is rustic, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and yet so central. We were thrilled. Highly recommended for an eating and drinking break during the city tour!!!

A tip for every tourist who wants good Thuringian cuisine or for real Thuringians who want to really enjoy the local cuisine again. The dumplings are so good that I considered returning to Thuringia - that alone would make it worth it. The service is quick, attentive and sweet. Our child was treated with love, there was always a relaxed attitude and every special request was fulfilled. The Rostbrätel and all dumpling dishes are recommended without exception.

Spontaner Entschluss, dort zu essen. Wurden freundlich begrüßt und sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Die Servicekraft ist mega nett und authentisch! Gegessen haben wir schon lange nicht mehr so lecker - wie früher bei Mama! Obwohl es mittags stressig war, wurde Sauce nachgereicht und für ein freundliches Wort gab es dennoch Zeit. Danke für die Erfurt-Bereicherung :)

Wir waren heute mal wieder im güldenen Rade. Leider hatten wir vergessen zu reservieren, was an Tagen wie heute, mit Weihnachtsmarkt u.s.w zu empfehlen ist. Eigentlich war alles ausgebucht. Aber als wir erklärten das wir an unserem Hochzeitstag immer hier essen, machte man es trotzdem möglich für uns. Das Essen war spitze, das Ambiente wirklich urgemütlich und das Personal trotz des ganzen Rummels extrem freundlich. Vielen Dank besonders an Frau Schneider. Wir können euch nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
