Soups are very good, asparagus dishes are very good. Thuringian bratwurst is good.

The food has deteriorated considerably. The roulade was overcooked, hard, and dry. Asparagus was good. It used to be a top choice, but now it's only a third choice. Tourist prices are OK. We won't be going back.

We wanted to eat typical German/Thuringian cuisine, and we were definitely not disappointed here. We had the dumplings with red and liver sausage filling and the Thuringian plate. Both dishes were simply fantastic! The service was also very polite, warm, and attentive, and we were seated in a beautiful dining room. Everything was perfect :-)

Absolutely, the beer garden is great and everything is ready for the season. Dumplings with gravy and the other small delicacies, between €2.50 and €6.00, are top-notch in terms of taste and value. It's also in the middle of town and still quiet at the moment. Don't worry, there's plenty of space.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Erfurt. In one part it is self-service, in the other part it is a little more classy, ​​there is service and there is a good selection of food and drinks. We always sit in the rustic part. There is simple, good food there. We love: a Thuringian dumpling with sauce. The beer garden and restaurant are highly recommended. The staff could be a bit friendlier.

I can only warmly recommend this restaurant. If you like German cuisine as much as I do, you are in very good hands there. Although the food and ambiance are good, there's unfortunately no reason to give it many stars. After getting a table here years ago, we tried to reserve a table online the last two times. There was no response, and when we called the restaurant, we were only told not to book. No explanation was given. I'd expect the booking system to say "fully booked" or something similar. Sorry, that doesn't make for a good place to stop by.

Undisputedly number 1 for me!! Everything was just right here. Service friendly, courteous, not intrusive, but attentive. The food was simply great, we had lots of different dishes - we all ate everything up! Drinks are also very well maintained. A must if you want to enjoy food in a great atmosphere in Erfurt!

We celebrated a big birthday. Everything was very good. The only "drawback": it closed at 10 p.m., which is certainly due to the lack of staff.

The ambience of the restaurant as well as the food are quite good. Unfortunately, you have to make significant compromises when it comes to service. What was particularly noticeable during our visit were the deficits in the organization. In principle, it should not be the case that a guest has to eat his meal with his plate on his lap because the waitress was unable to provide an additional table to remedy the situation. In addition, after a complaint, the restaurant management denied this fact, even though 12 people could confirm this.

The food was very tasty, the service was bad. The service staff was annoyed because we wanted to add an eleventh chair to the ten people at the table, which was quite possible given the space in the room. We moved together on the bench. There was a loud exchange of words. And when a twelfth club friend came, one of us had to put the plate on her knee and eat like that. The room was not fully occupied and there were chairs in the next room.

I had roulade with a dumpling, sauce and red cabbage. Unfortunately the roulade was very dry and relatively small, the dumpling and the red cabbage tasted good. At a price of just under €27 for the dish, I expect a different quality. The service staff was very positive and was very attentive and friendly, keep it up. Conclusion: Price performance for the food is not quite right, at least with the roulade. The atmosphere is really chic and the staff is top. Will I come back again? I'm not sure yet. I wish you a great start into the new year.

Went there spontaneously for lunch today shortly before the kitchen closed. I was served very friendly and quickly. Food was very tasty (turkey medallions) and sufficient. Radler nice and cool, pleasant taste I'd love to do it again.😊

Service and atmosphere were good. The food tasted very good. However, the €28 for the goose parts served was either too much for me, or too little for the price on the plate.

On November 11th Goose breast (martini) was offered. Anyone who has never eaten one will think twice about it in the future: the goose breast is tough, the sauce has no taste at all, and the price is €30. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to this evening. We (Erfurters) will definitely not go there again.

What a wonderful beer garden, both in summer and with a beer in the beer garden. As well as in winter, with a mulled wine in the self-designed Christmas market. This restaurant is always worth a visit.

Even without a reservation, we were able to get one of the coveted seats. The staff are TOP and super friendly. In any case, we had a lot of fun. The food (filled dumplings) was delicious, even if we know them differently in Meiningen. But we were very satisfied and above all there were NO caraway seeds in the sauerkraut. I hate that and that's why everything is great. We'd love to come back.

A historic restaurant in the center of the city of Erfurt. Good Thuringian food is offered here with really big dumplings. The space available is a bit sparse, so it's better to book in advance. During the week you are a little more lucky to get a place. Tastes excellent and highly recommended.

Erfurt's old town has been excellently restored and is always worth a visit! Despite many reservations, space was still found for us. Of course we chose a Thuringian classic. Very good, highly recommended, great restaurant with very friendly staff.

Of course we wanted to eat Thuringian specialties and after a short search we came across a nice location. Very nice beer garden. Super nice service who brought us our drink orders quickly. Typical local recommendation... Thuringian bratwurst with sauerkraut and Rostbrätel with potato pancakes and onions... the pancakes were not homemade but a finished product, which was confirmed after a short inquiry, but that did not detract from the taste and presentation of the products.

Sitting in the courtyard is very pleasant, especially on a warm summer evening. The home-style cuisine was consistently good, except for the extremely fatty “Röstis”. But the very good and friendly service made up for it…clear recommendation.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews for the food, we were in the beer garden with a group of 9 people, which is currently cozy. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. The sauerbraten didn't see any vinegar, how you can cook in such a tasteless way is a mystery to me as a chef, the red cabbage isn't worth eating, the toilet is a sludge. For the roulade, almost burnt, dry with the aforementioned red cabbage and also the toilet. Then there was also herring, which was somewhat edible. Thanks, we'll never come back here again
