Gasthaus "Schwarzburger Hof" in Erfurt

We've eaten at the Schwarzburger Hof several times, including on November 1st, 2025. The service was, as always, very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious again, although I must say that the salmon pasta tasted fantastic, but you had to search for the salmon pieces on the plate. I see some room for improvement there. Otherwise, we are always happy to recommend the Schwarzburger Hof.

We got into the restaurant using the Schlemmerblock discount booklet. The food was very good and the service very attentive. I would gladly recommend this restaurant.

Despite pre-ordering, we waited 1.5 hours for the food. Then there were several incorrect bills. There's still a lot of room for improvement here.

Nice ambience, friendly staff, I had the house burger and my companion had the Thuringian dumplings with mushrooms, it was OK but didn't blow us away.

The special house burger is a bratwurst in a bun with sauerkraut for €14.90. The mushroom variation was a mix of Knorr mushroom pan with canned chanterelle mushrooms and fresh mushrooms, along with really sticky dumplings that weren't Thuringian-style. The best part was the beer. Sorry, for €16.90 you expect more! It could be better!!!!!

It was our regular in Erfurt. Highly recommended: Tio Papa Rum, Domi Beer, and Caipirinha. We enjoyed the snack box! Great bar staff.

A quaint pub with good food and good staff.

I've been wanting to stop there for a long time when I'm in Erfurt. Bottom line: I wasn't disappointed, and it won't be my last visit.

A chance encounter that paid off. We wanted to eat regional food and were completely satisfied with the culinary delights here. My highlight was the Handkäse (cheese), which I'd wanted to try for months, and then it was on the menu and tasted amazing, too 😍 And the brown sauce with the dumplings tasted like grandma used to make. The service also deserves 5 stars; we received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, attentive, and open to special requests. That's what I wish for everywhere. Price-wise, I found the restaurant to be on the lower end; we haven't eaten this cheaply in a long time 🙈, especially not in a state capital city center. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Erfurt again!

Good, home-style cooking! I had the Mutzbraten, which was excellent! I could have used a bit more salt, but that's always a matter of taste! Very large portions, even men will be more than satisfied here! Very good value for money! Great atmosphere, very cozy, and I especially want to highlight the staff! Super friendly and attentive! You don't find that everywhere these days! Keep up the good work!! All in all, we recommend it 100%!!👌👍

The farmer's breakfast and vegetable stir-fry were surprisingly poor. The classic Thuringian meat dishes were within the expected range. The price didn't match the quality of the food. The service was friendly, attentive, and listened to our feedback.

Today was February 7th. there around 6 p.m. Order Baked schnitzel. The chef probably doesn't know salt or spices. A retirement home would be happy with it. When asked about this, a waitress described this dish as an absolute hit. Probably everything over 70. Was the last time!

Yesterday all four of us were able to enjoy an excellent leg of goose in a rustic atmosphere. The perfect service from the attentive and very friendly staff rounded off the evening. On December 11th, 2024 I spontaneously went to dinner with my colleague at the Schwarzburger Hof. Despite Christmas time and ordered seats, we were not turned away and were given a nice seat next to the counter. The ambience is very lovingly chosen and takes you back to your own childhood. While waiting for the food you ordered, which was reasonable despite the well-filled dining room, you keep discovering small and large things from the past and putting a smile on your face. I chose Schnitzel Au Four as my dish and was very happy with it. It tasted very good and you could tell the love for the fresh preparation of the dish. The staff is very accommodating and the prices are very moderate. I was very impressed and it won't be my last visit to the Schwarburger Hof. I would like to thank you for the loving hospitality and wish the entire team a peaceful Christmas and a good start into the new year.

Excellent food and drink in a pleasant atmosphere. And friendly staff.

Ambience nicely done and quaint. Food flop, seasoned meat from the can, thin dry schnitzel and Camembert with cranberries frozen goods like from the supermarket. Dumplings small and mushroom sauce salty. Drink Juice KiBa was very good, overall everything was very expensive and the quality of the food wasn't great. The service is always quick but makes sure to ask every 5 minutes if you would like anything else.

I really liked it here. I find the atmosphere very interesting, to my taste and very nice. There are household items from the past in every corner. It's like being in a small museum. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food tastes good, good portions, well seasoned for me. But it wasn't exceptional, hence four stars. I would heartily recommend the restaurant. The food was very tasty but the two hour duration was too long for me.

Just had a drink here, but I felt very comfortable. The place was full, so we sat down at the bar first. After a few minutes we were offered a table for four, even though a table for two would have been free. I thought that was very nice and attentive, but we still took the table for two out of consideration for other guests. The beer was good and we especially enjoyed the small house schnapps. I think the decoration in the back room is great, there are all sorts of everyday objects hanging from the ceiling - great :-) We played cards here for an hour and it was great. I can't say much about the food, but it looked very good.

We had a really nice evening here, the food was fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly, relaxed and funny. Photos were also taken at our request. We were completely satisfied and recommend the restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Quaint pub, but very dark. Reading the map becomes so difficult. Or does the dim light have a deep meaning 😉 Staff friendly, but not that competent/business savvy in the hospitality industry. If you wanted something you had to call, even though there were only about 10 guests present. Food tasted okay, but more like goulash that had been thawed or reheated.

We were there for Valentine's Day. There was a glass of champagne for everyone and a tulip for the ladies. A nice, good middle-class restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Toller Service, leckeres Essen! Nur an das schummerige Licht muss man sich erst gewöhnen. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit wirklich freundlicher Bedienung.

Super Service trotz vollem Lokal

Das Ambiente ist wirklich toll, allerdings mussten wir leider 1 1/2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Dies lag wohl an Krankheitsausfall, aber war trotzdem etwas zu lang. Mein Räucherlachs waren leider die kalten Räucherlachsscheiben, was so am besten in der Karte stehen sollte. Die Bedienung war allerdings durchweg sehr freundlich, wodurch ich es wahrscheinlich trotzdem nochmal probieren würde.

Wir waren nur 4,5 Tage in Erfurt, aber zweimal im Schwarzburger Hof. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, das Essen war sehr gut, besonders der Mutzbraten 👌👌👌sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn wir noch mal nach Erfurt kommen, dann werden wir auf jeden Fall dort wieder einkehren. 👍

Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir nix gegessen haben. Sonst schönes Gasthaus und sehr freundlich.

Mein Mann und ich sind dieses Wochenende zu Besuch in Erfurt, nach einer langen Tour durch die Stadt wollten wir unbedingt noch etwas essen und sind dabei auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Das Personal war freundlich ( obwohl die Kellnerin etwas tolpatschig war. Beim Servieren der Weinschorle hat sie beim einschütten erst einmal etwas verschüttet und belächelte sich dabei ). Das Essen war sehr lecker, gute Portion die keinen Grund zum nörgeln liefert. Die Bratkartoffeln waren gut gewürzt und richtig schön knusprig. Es war wirklich wirklich lecker. Ein Besuch ist es aufjedenfall wert! Preisleistung ist absolut gegeben.

Lokale Gerichte und gute Bier- und Schnaps Auswahl. Das Ambiente gespickt mit Erinnerungen. Der Service war schnell, aber kurz angebunden. Der Braten war gut, die Sauce war wenig würzig, das Schnitzel etwas trocken. In Summe gut.

Nous avions réservé pour deux personnes le soir en milieu de semaine. Le restaurant a pour décoration un bric-à-brac de choses diverses et variées qui fait tous son charme. Pour dîner nous avons pris une Thüringer Bratwurst avec des pommes de terres sautées et de la choucroute ainsi qu'une salade avec des œuf aux plats. Pour accompagner le tout de la bière et des cacahuètes pour grignoter. Le service était très aimable et les plats sont arrivés rapidement. Les portions étaient plus que suffisante et nous n'avions plus faim en sortant. Le rapport qualité/prix était vraiment correcte. Je recommande ce restaurant pour les personnes voulant passer une bonne soirée tout en savourant la cuisine allemande.
