Very friendly, great food and drinks from regional manufacturers 👍🏻

During a visit to Erfurt, we stopped at this rustic restaurant after making a reservation online. Since the weather was very summery, we were able to eat our delicious meal in the cozy beer garden. The service was friendly and attentive. The sea bass served with spinach and mashed potatoes could have been a little juicier. But it tasted very good. The shredded chicken was excellent. You can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

We've been coming here often for lunch for two years. So far we have been very satisfied. Today, however, my husband and I were very disappointed. We had ordered 2 seats outside, there was a table for 2 and a table for 4 still available. However, the 2nd seat was without a parasol and in such heat the table didn't work at all. According to the waitress, we weren't allowed to sit at the table for four. (because it was a table for 4 and not a table for 2). There wasn't even a reservation sign on the table. Do you have to understand that? Okay, we just went in. I had ordered a chanterelle cream soup as a starter, but when the soup arrived I was more than disappointed. The soup was more like, how should I put it, a water soup, very, very thin for a cream soup. I pointed this out to the waitress and she replied yes she is thin. The disappointment came with the bill, even though I had barely touched the soup, it was on the bill for the full price. Of course I asked the waitress about it again, and her answer was that she had forgotten to take it off 🙈. Not even a goodbye was said at the exit. Very, very unfortunate!

Excellent home cooking (pleasantly large portions), extremely courteous staff and a beautiful outdoor area. The roulade was the best we have ever had in a restaurant. The next time we are in Erfurt, Kromer's will be on the program again!

Unfortunately, unfortunately only three stars. The food and ambience are excellent. Unfortunately the service is lacking. The boss is very accommodating and found a nice place despite the full house. Unfortunately, the employees or temporary workers don't have the same service mentality. When we presented the daily specials at the next table, our waitress turned to us and said that the same applies to her. That's pretty much how it went. The temporary worker, who had just started working, spent the first half hour celebrating the start and the drink she mixed herself. The worst thing we found, however, was that the colleague at the bar poured the ice for the drinks into the glasses by hand. Unfortunately, at some point the food takes a back seat. Very unfortunate.

The ambience is really nice! The service was terrible: we had to pay for drinks that we didn't order/drink. The lady from the service was very angry and unfriendly, no clarification possible! My napkin dumpling salad was inedible for me. Conclusion: There are much better addresses in Erfurt!!

Restaurant with a very nice atmosphere in the old town of Erfurt. The beer garden is small but very tasteful and away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. The selection of dishes is small but fine. The beer from a home brewery is absolutely delicious. The very good service rounds off a great experience perfectly. Always my pleasure.

Despite having full reservations, we weren't turned away, and that was a good thing. The veal liver refined with cherries was a culinary delight, the service was super nice and full of recommendations. Just the perfect restaurant and definitely worth the money. Definitely a must for us next time you visit Erfurt, 6 🌟 stars.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier gewesen und waren sehr begeistert. Meine Frau durfte den frischen Spargel genießen (Note 1+). Die Männerportion sollte ein auf den Speisekarten eher selten zu findendes Rindertartar sein...ohne Worte.....ein TRÄUMCHEN!!! Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Mit größerer Gruppe gestern dort gegessen und getrunken. Wir haben gut gesessen, der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr lecker und die Getränke gut gekühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Ein kleines Manko: keine Kartenzahlung möglich…war das wirklich „nur heute“? Dafür sah die Hinweistafel zu professionell aus 😉

Very nice vaulted cellar! Unfortunately, the noise level is really high due to the construction, so you need a lot of beer to lubricate your voice! This must be taken into account when choosing the means of transport on the way back! Thank you for a lovely evening in Erfurt!

If we could give more stars we would. This place leads by example across all points: food, service, atmosphere. Highly recommend you make a reservation as they’re always booked out. That says it all! Locals and visitors, it’s a favourite. Steffen, the owner, hands on which is impressive. His staff are in good form, always polite and professional. Always a good sign when staff are happy. Food! Don’t get me started. Everything on the menu is so incredibly delicious but when you come in May, you got to go seasonal with the asparagus dishes. Kromers’s is a beautiful restaurant and I can’t wait to come back next year.

Service sehr gut, schönes Ambiente in Garten, EG und im Keller. Wein zu hochpreisig für die Qualität. Essen: Cordon Bleu (Note 2) - saftig, sehr gute Bratkartoffeln, kleiner Gurkensalat etwas fad. Spargel mit Schinken (Note 1) - weich, guter Geschmack, leckere Soße. Warum dann nur eine 3? Der Raum ist akustisch ungenügend gedämmt. Dadurch ist es mega-laut. Wir hatten das Pech, eine angetrunkene Männerrunde von 11 Personen und eine Reisegruppe mit 8 Personen zeitgleich im Lokal zu haben. Das war nicht auszuhalten. Daher sind wir (trotz sehr schönem 2er Tisch) sofort nach dem Essen gegangen. Auch die Bedienungen sagten leider zu den Krachmachern überhaupt nichts.... schade. Wir würden uns daher überlegen, ob wir überhaupt nochmal kommen.

Wir hatten für ein Geschäftsessen einen Tisch für mehrere Personen reserviert. Aufgrund von unterschiedlichen Anreisezeiten mussten wir die Gruppe aufteilen und hatten dadurch viele Extra-Wünsche (extra Tisch, Essen für einen späteren Zeitpunkt bestellt etc.). Unsere Wünsche wurden wie selbstverständlich aufgenommen und umgesetzt. Das ganze Team vermittelt große Gastfreundschaft und zeigt ein tolles Engagement. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend und die Preise sind fair. Wir waren schon öfters hier und das Restaurant ist egal für welchen Anlass immer unsere erste Wahl in Erfurt.

We were here for the umpteenth time. And what should I write? With a bit of luck we got a table in the nice courtyard and immediately found something on the changing menu. The super nice service brought delicious food. We can only recommend enjoying a great evening here in summer (or in April with warm temperatures). Thank you that you exist.

Food: Classic Thuringian dishes, such as beef roulade or sauerbraten. But also other meat dishes. Plus fish and vegetarian dishes that sound delicious. Focus on regional and seasonal products. Good portions. Price/performance is absolutely right. Everything seems fresh and homemade. Roulade nice and juicy and tender, red cabbage coarsely grated and tasty. Dumplings as they should be. Plus an extra portion of sauce. That's what I like about Thuringia. Drinks: good selection. Here too, a lot from the region. Beer, lemonade, juice and spirits are from the region. Prices here are absolutely okay too. Service: very friendly. Always asking if everything fits. Very fast Ambience: Nice outdoor area. I sat in the vaulted cellar. Maybe there's still a little room for improvement here. Card payment possible

One of the best meals I've ever eaten. I ordered a large chicken leg with fries. It was big. The chicken leg had an almost crispy skin, the meat was just as excellent, nice and juicy and not too little. The salad and dressing were not just some cheap stuff, but a very high quality side dish. I can only recommend eating there, I would like to give it 100 stars. And the crowning glory was the food from these older “beer mugs”. Just perfect.

A DREAM!! Been there by chance. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. A culinary poem and service fit for kings. Thank you very much for this great lunch. Refined and well seasoned, from the soup to the main course to the dessert it was a dream. The appropriate (house recommendation) wine accompaniment was the crowning glory. The restaurant was full on Saturday lunchtime, which was only evident from the fact that the guests were very loud. The service was confident and professional and the kitchen prepared every dish with great attention to detail. Waiting time, quick because it still has to be cooked. My wishes have been met here and I would like to say thank you again for this lovely lunch. From my side, this restaurant is not only fully recommended, but it is also worth traveling to Erfurt for.

We were guests at Kromer's last night Rather small restaurant with a very small home-style menu and a beautiful courtyard. Great location in the city center, close to the cathedral. You just have to park a little outside. Unfortunately, the beautiful vaulted cellar was closed and so we sat in the small but cozy guest room. Reservation absolutely necessary. The service was very friendly, prompt and polite. The food was very good, everything was homemade. Priced high, but justified. The pork cheeks are super tender, the vegetarian portobello mushrooms are very tasty. Only the red cabbage was too “clovely” for me personally. The children got their food before us and were unfortunately already finished when our food arrived. Still a great evening with delicious food in a lovely atmosphere - would go there again.

Mhhh…. Looking for a good restaurant with local cuisine. Judging by the reviews, it's one of the best in town. The service was great, the ambience was OK and the lighting was too dark (I could barely read the menu). The starter was really good. Then came the main courses... The fried potatoes were over-salted, the homemade red cabbage (really now?) and the dumplings made by a well-known Thuringian manufacturer were also a lot better... The meat and schnitzel were OK... It seems like a real shame for many people good classic food like you don't know from grandma... I really expected more...

Whenever I'm in Erfurt on business I come here to eat! The daily special today was so incredibly good! I haven't eaten as well as I did today in a really long time! I can only recommend it!

Order couldn't be found so we had to wait. The restaurant was well attended, it is known for its good cuisine and friendly staff. It was very loud in the dining room. I was looking for a place for a small birthday party. However, I refrain from doing this because with 10 invited guests we would have to sit in the bedroom. The vaulted cellar can only be ordered for 20 people or more.

We booked a New Year's Eve menu and spent a very nice evening at Kromer's with our friends. The menu was very good, lovingly put together and there was a charming story from the boss about every menu item.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Platz geführt, zu unserer Überraschung war ein Kamerateam vor Ort und hat vereinzelt Gäste interviewt. Die Vorspeisensuppen waren ein Traum. Zum Hauptgang gab es hervorragendes Kachelfleisch und Kalbsleber. (Ich habe selten so gute deutsche Küche gegessen) Wir haben dem Inhaber ein Bier aus unserer Region mitgebracht, es wurde sich herzlich gefreut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragendes Essen und Service, sehr zu empfehlen

Die Karte ist überschaubar- aber dafür ist jedes Gericht ein wahrer Leckerbissen. Daher kann man hier auch mehrmals einkehren und genüsslich schlemmen.

Ein Restaurant, bei dem man schon auf der Karte bemerkt, dass alles gut durchdacht und ehrlich verkauft wird. Das Essen ist großartig (hier sind sogar die Klöße ein Gedicht), der Service gut. Der Chef selbst ist immer mit dabei und wagt auch ein Schwätzchen mit den Gästen. Danke euch, dass ihr solch ein Restaurant betreibt, in dem man bei jedem Detail die Liebe bemerkt, die darin- und dahintersteckt. Hier ist es den Gastgebern wichtig, den Gästen ein sehr gutes Essen zu einem fairen Preis zu bieten. Danke an die Küche und den Service, es war wieder mal ein gelungener Abend bei euch. Ich komme unbedingt wieder. Und wieder.

Wir waren eine größere Runde und alle sehr begeistert. Der Service war freundlich und auf Zack. Das Essen war ein Traum. Ich bin jetzt noch hin und weg. Ledeglich die Akustik im Kellergewölbe war etwas laut und störend, was aber auch an einem recht lauten Nachbartisch lag.

Am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag durften wir das erste Mal den ausgezeichneten Service und das wunderbare Essen im Kromers genießen. Wir haben heute in Familie am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag zum Mittag gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen gerne wieder. Trotz vollem Haus war der Service super freundlich und hatte immer ein nettes Wort für die Gäste. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis und alles Gute für das gesamte Kromer‘s Team.

Ich war vor ca. drei Wochen spontan dort essen und habe meinen Besuch dort sehr genossen. Es ist ein Erfurter Traditionslokal sehr schön eingerichtet. Es war recht voll, aber ich hatte Glück und habe noch einen Platz bekommen. Mit mehreren Personen sollte man aber sicher vorher reservieren. Mein Tartar war etwas ungewöhnlich gewürzt (ich kenne es nur mit Ei, Salz und Pfeffer, evtl. noch mit Kapern und Sardellen separat dazu). Hier war zusätzlich zu Ei, Sslz und Pfeffer noch Meerrettich und noch etwas anderes dabei und es war schon angemacht... sehr interessant und lecker, aber ich persönlich ziehe es vor, wenn die Zutaten separat gereicht werden und der Gast es sich nach Belieben mischen kann. Das Nussbrot war große Klasse. Die Bedienungen (alle recht jung) war freundlich aber einen Tick unaufmerksam. Ich muss aber auch dazu sagen, dass es extrem voll war... und dafür haben die jungen Damen es echt gut gemacht!

Waren zu einer kleinen Weihnachtsfeier dort. Trotz Fülle im ganzen Haus hatten Chef und Service alles im Griff und das Essen war wie erwartet gut.

Liebes Team des Restaurants und Gewölbekellers Kromer’s, wie schafft man es die Qualität, das Ambiente und die Lust an so einem tollen Lokal gleichbleibend über 5 Jahre (so lange kennen wir Euch) so hoch zu halten? Endlich konnte ich auch einmal das Kromers besuchen, und es hat sich gelohnt. Im rustikalen aber dennoch modernen Gewölbe lässt es sich gut aushalten und auch feiern. Der Service war flott und das Essen lecker!

Wir waren nicht zum ersten und nicht zum letzten Mal im Kromers. Spontan reingeschaut und einen der begehrten Tische bekommen. Das Servicepersonal war super lieb, aufmerksam, schnell und echt engagiert. (selten heut zu Tage) Das Essen war echt grandios. Wir waren am 10.11.23 das erste mal da und waren begeistert...Hier wird der Service auch noch gelebt, alle sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Von der Speisekarte wird man nicht erschlagen, da sie übersichtlich ist, was ich aber als sehr positiv empfand. Das Essen ist wirklich klasse...es klingt einfach ist aber liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich auf einem sehr hohem Niveau. Es ist ein liebevolles Lokal wo man einen sehr schönen Abend verbringen kann...wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal da.
