It's a shame that this great German restaurant is being taken away from us, I don't think there's anyone who would take it over. Such a shame. Please look for a successor for what, in my opinion, is the best German restaurant in Munich.

Hunter roast meat ok, sauce soggy, spaetzle soggy, no taste, mushrooms too. For 21 euros, it's a complete flop. Several Christmas parties (clubs etc.) = not enough cooks!! Good thing they're closing!

Always a pleasure to be a guest for many, many years, including with my pensioner colleagues. Very friendly hosts from the landlord, manager, waitresses, etc. The food is always very good and quick!!! Own car parking space and also easy to reach with public transport. Completely satisfied!!!

Nice Bavarian economy with nice and fast service. The food was rather average, the prices were at Munich level, so a bit more expensive. Unfortunately, the Wiener-style schnitzel is better elsewhere and the carp was small, so it wasn't perfectly fried in some places and dry in other places. It was definitely better a year ago. Ok for a baked carp outside of Franconia, I don't know where there is a better one in Munich. But in Franconia they are a whole lot better. Update 2024: The baked carp and salad were very good. Our service was very nice. It's a shame that it closes at 10:00, we would have liked to stay longer.

We were there to drink a few lager, it was just a great atmosphere and you were personally welcomed by the boss. I can only recommend it. I can't say anything about the food, but it certainly looked delicious. Clear recommendation.

Very nice and rustic. The duck was a little too crispy for me but far from burnt. In between all the cellars were gone for several minutes, which was very strange.

Originally only purchased a consumption voucher (€10 per person) to avoid waiting for a parking space at the zoo. Had a very tasty dinner. Service and friendly and on point.

The two of us were there spontaneously on a Sunday lunchtime. A friendly waitress welcomed us and sat us at a table in the almost full restaurant, which was completely ok. The drinks came quickly, good beer and nice glasses. Our food also came quickly. The grill plate was good, but as a dish it was a bit dry. Small potatoes as a side dish without sauce are not ideal. Maybe the idea was to spread the huge piece of herb butter over the potatoes too. The other dish was a Schäufela, well prepared, with nice sauce and potato dumplings. If it had stayed in the oven a little longer it would have been perfect. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and the service is impeccable.

Write questionable political statements on the menu and on a sign on the street. Unpleasant.

Highly recommended — service attentive, friendly and quick, food good (good home cooking, as they say) and plentiful, relaxed atmosphere. An all around pleasant experience. We stopped here on a hike - on Sunday afternoon of all days, i.e. h. lots of day trippers and reserved tables. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed and given a pleasant seat. The food was soon on the table. Roast pork the way you want it, with two crispy pieces of rind, very good sauce, dumplings and red cabbage. I wasn't that hungry, so I just ordered a salad... "just" - because what came was a real surprise: an unexpectedly large and unexpectedly tasty salad plate with lots of wonderfully fried mushrooms, lots of green leaves, great bread and lots and lots of pumpkin seed oil …. mmmmmmmm! The beer was good anyway, and the coffee too. Unfortunately we were too full to try any cakes or desserts. This traditional inn, beautifully located in the countryside near the Isar (beer garden in summer!) is worth a visit, great value for money. Of course, it always tastes particularly good after a walk, but with a bit of luck you could also get a parking space here, as this is certainly a very good place for a coffee and cake visit with possibly more infirm family members and friends. By the way - although I don't think it's a minor matter: despite being busy, the toilets were spotlessly clean. This is also really pleasant.

Food looked very good, unfortunately we didn't get to try anything. The older waitress came to us quite quickly to take the drinks and, preferably, the food straight away. However, we were still deciding, even a minute later when the drinks were served. Apparently this was a problem because we were then ignored or overlooked for over 30 minutes, I'm not sure. We decided to leave hungry.

Nice ambience in the countryside. However, the service is a disgrace. We ordered something to drink, which came quickly. Afterwards we were ignored for half an hour and didn't get a chance to order our food. After the waitress came and asked if we wanted anything else, we paid and left. Absolute shame, rain until 6 p.m. today. Arrived there, offered to dry the chairs and table themselves... No, no more eating in the garden today... Went there 10 times in the last 3 months and were on the way to becoming regulars. But to be told that I can no longer get any food outside in the middle of summer even though everything is dry... outrageous! Then we'll eat somewhere else in the future... Strange, apparently restaurateurs in Germany have problems, but here financial success seems to lead to wealth thanks to the zoo, which drives away guests... Nice parking at the very nice Biegarten! Costs 30 EUR which you can eat/drink up! Quiet place with shade for some places. Take into account that it is very narrow to enter the place as there are parked cars along the entrance. We have a fully integrated Pilote, 7.49 cm. Super tight to get in! Otherwise highly recommended!

Shameless, unfriendly service (can't remember ever not leaving a tip before) and the food was below average to bad. At least you can sit comfortably with children thanks to the numerous play options.

We went there for dinner after visiting the zoo. The crusty roast was okay, although I would have expected more crust. The Kässpätzle, however, was pure flour mush with cheese, and as if that wasn't enough, it was also carelessly prepared. (Without any garnish...so no chives or anything else) That's why only 1 star for "food"!!! Service was very "unfriendly" from the start and first brought the wrong drinks and then was annoyed when we pointed it out. The prices are also way too high! Absolute impudence!!! For such prices you can actually expect something. (Quantity, taste, friendliness...) The price/performance ratio here is not right at all!!! Conclusion: Food 1 star, ambience 2 stars, staff minus 5, price/performance minus 5 Not recommended!!!

Nice place, atmosphere really nice and traditionally Bavarian. I have eaten at Siebenbrunn several times and have to say that sometimes the food is really good but experience has shown that it can sometimes be bad. I had the best roast beef and ox there last year, as well as great roast pork and Schäufele a few months ago. The schnitzel was once served cold. Recently, however, I had roast pork for lunch, which unfortunately was not only served lukewarm, but was also quite tough. But the taste is delicious I also had the impression that the soups were not traditionally cooked, but rather made with lots of flavor enhancers and canned vegetables. I only really liked the cream mushroom soup. Staff very nice.

I haven't felt as comfortable as I do here in the beer garden for a long time. It's really crazy how much the old Munich feeling has been preserved here. Thank you a thousand times 😃

Beware this place doesn't take credit cards. Waitress doesn't care to mention before you order because "her boss doesn't like it when people pay by card and doesn't want them to tell customers in advance"

We were on our way to zoo and we took their parking because everything else was full. You pay in advance for the parking, but you get a coupon with which you can pay for food in the restaurant. Big garden, big parking, you can come with the dog, service was ok. You can choose from classic Bavarian specialties, and they also have a kids menu. At the end it is just standard bavarian restaurant, nothing was exemplary, but all in all worth a visit. Prices are moderate to high.

Sour tips can only be found here! So: The Franconian restaurant in Munich. The service is usually friendly, prices are high, but a trip home is more expensive. The boss is unique. Conclusion: Everything is great, except that vegetarian dishes from the daily menu are really expensive compared to the other dishes.

We were there today. When you wanted to order an iced tea for the children, an older lady rolled her eyes and said very unkindly, "It's not available!" Ok kp...then we wanted a currant with water for the children because it was a problem whether big or small and she rolled her eyes again and said how friendly she couldn't be a little friendlier or whether she was okay with everything It's hard otherwise we leave...ultimately we left, we've never seen anything so unfriendly!! A job in the office or somewhere where she doesn't have to talk to anyone would definitely be better for the lady!!!!

Food was good and came quickly. The beautiful inn rounded off the visit well. The dog was allowed in too and got a pair of wieners. Unfortunately my beer was forgotten with my meal, but still charged, that's outrageous. Therefore deduction for the service.

Good traditional Bavarian food. The customers are often local, therefore a guarantee of quality in the food. We arrived with the camper and they welcomed us with simplicity, giving us availability for an overnight stay. A convenient square to place the camper, 4/5 vehicles will fit there (only place without services other than the restaurant bathroom). Games in the restaurant courtyard. At a certain time the children outside stopped playing and absolute peace descended.

Well, first of all, I find the price-performance ratio to be bottomless, even for Munich standards. Then blaming the government's fiscal policy (probably the increase in VAT for restaurateurs to the normal pre-Corona level) and energy prices for an additional day of rest cannot be surpassed in terms of ridiculousness. Finally, describing Russia on the map as the harmonious neighbor from the East is also not to be outdone in terms of cynicism, given the thousands of deaths in the course of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. You notice that you're not dealing with the most intelligent people here

Friendly welcome, we had reserved a table for 4 people. Free RV parking when you eat in the restaurant. The prices are quite high even for Munich standards. Schäuferle now costs €26.50, roulade costs €24.50, the beer costs €5.10. The carp is not recommended, tasted musty. Our cellar was friendly but not very attentive.

Very, very pleasant, excellent beer garden with really friendly, competent staff. Even in stressful situations. I had the cream lamb with wild garlic spezle which was very tasty and my daughter had the small roast pork. She was also very satisfied 🥰👍❤️ And the price-performance ratio is also right.
