Well, overall, the staff seems overwhelmed. Just taking the order takes a while! Then the food takes a while, then the drink. A second order probably wouldn't be good. Maybe it depends on the time of day, but the owner should probably keep that in mind. Next time, I'd rather go somewhere else.

I don't usually write reviews, but I've never experienced anything like this before: We (Dörte Becker Band + entourage) wanted to discuss our performance the following day after the rehearsal. But: According to management's instructions, putting tables together isn't allowed at Köpi. Huh? We're coming with 10 people and, of course, want to sit and chat together. No chance... Apparently, this revenue can be waived. Confirms my negative experience at KöPi three weeks earlier: grumpy staff, beer mats thrown listlessly on the table, smiling costs extra! So we simply walked 10 meters further to Franky's, where the tables were no problem at all, the staff were funny and cheerful - and everyone's food was great 🤗. Bye, bye KöPi...

The view, location, service, and food were all above average. Prices are reasonable, too. Only the restrooms could use some renovation.

Very nice on the promenade, right by the water. We sat outside early in the evening. Friendly service, hardly any wait. We had a paprika schnitzel and a curry frikadelle. Both were really delicious, and the fries were nice and crispy. Unfortunately, the salad lacked dressing; it was watery. I think they have a very well-diversified selection of dishes. Prices are a bit on the high side. Delicious!

Went with a few office colleagues for dinner had a good time. Their zwickel bier was good. I really liked it. Tried a few other options, too, like the Benediktner weissbier it was also good, but the zwickel bier was the best. For dinner, I ordered Schnitzel with potatoes and salad.

The food and service were good. We stopped here spontaneously during a bike ride. The food and drinks are priced at a premium. The restrooms were clean, but as soon as you walk downstairs, you're greeted by an unpleasant toilet smell, and even the numerous air fresheners don't help. The owner should get to the bottom of this.

Disappointing Experience with Table Reservation – Lack of Customer Service I tried to reserve a table and received a call back. Unfortunately, the phone call was very disappointing. The gentleman on the phone seemed extremely annoyed and made this abundantly clear. Instead of engaging in a solution-oriented conversation or offering alternative dates or options for the desired seating, I received only rude replies. I found this way of dealing with a potential customer absolutely unacceptable. Because the whole thing was getting tiresome and I felt unwelcome, I immediately canceled my request. It's a shame when the first contact with a customer is so negative. Friendliness and helpfulness should be a given, especially in the service industry. You can't win customers that way.

The food is solid, the location is very nice and the service is virtually non-existent. The waiting times really leave a lot to be desired and one of the waitresses was too lazy to take my order the way I would have liked. Didn't want a salad with my dish because I don't eat it anyway "No, we don't do that here, just pass it out" I don't know what's so hard about leaving out the salad but okay, long live food waste

Nice inn with a pleasant atmosphere. We were only there for a beer - the König Pilsener was well tapped and tasted excellent. The service was friendly, but could have been a little more attentive that evening. Overall, a very nice place to enjoy a beer in a relaxed atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

Wide range, friendly staff, maximum culinary delight

I haven't been a guest at the inn yet and, based on my experience with the service, I definitely never will be. Last Friday my mother-in-law was out with my two-year-old son in the Ruhr when he got severe stomach pain, wouldn't stop crying and didn't want to ride his balance bike anymore. My mother-in-law then asked in the restaurant in question whether she could store the walker bike in the inn for about an hour, as there was no way she could carry both of them home. The employee then replied that this was only possible for paying guests. He saw how desperate my mother-in-law was with my crying child in her arms and then became rude when she dared to ask if she could leave the bike for just a short while. I think that's an absolute nonsense and a reason for me never to want to be a guest there. She was then allowed to store the bike in the police station.

A menu where everyone can find something. Small dishes, home cooking, delicious fresh salads, large schnitzels and steaks. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. Price/performance is right.

I think it's the best shop in Mülheim. Nice design and cool team! The price seems a bit high at first, but the portions are very large and the quality is great! Therefore the price-performance ratio is great! I can only recommend it!

We were there on a Friday. Since the weather was very nice, we decided to sit outside. The beer was well chilled. The food was average at best. The service, in the form of an older gentleman, somewhat overweight, with short hair, was completely unacceptable. Initially, every guest is addressed informally, regardless of age. But on top of that, the gentleman is also rude, very patronizing, and simply impossible. Such behavior is damaging to business and simply cannot be tolerated. The second star goes to the young lady who also worked in the service department.

Great inn right on the banks of the Ruhr. The food is great and there are also special menus depending on the season. As the name suggests, there are König Pilsener but also other varieties such as Benedictine. The staff is very nice and accommodating. If you want to eat then you should make a reservation. Just drinking a beer is fine without it. If the weather is good you can also sit outside.

The dips were versatile and flavorful, a perfect complement to the bread and a real treat. The service was friendly, attentive and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here, which made the evening even more pleasant. Anyone who visits the Pilsener Wirtshaus can look forward to an authentic, cozy and all-round culinary success. Nice service, it's nice to sit on the Ruhr. Now to the food: Baked ciabatta with dips (10.90!) overpriced. Bavarian wooden trough (ordered for 2 people, hard to do alone). Portions huge, but the food is okay, nothing more. Soggy fried potatoes, mini meatballs from the discount store. Cooking looks different... Too bad. I don't think I'll eat there anymore

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and really delicious food. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star because some of the chairs were very dirty, even though there wasn't much activity yet. I first had to clean my seat with a napkin so I could sit down. That could still be worked on, but otherwise I really recommend it!

We came at 12.30 with 10 people to have a nice day and empty our cheese. Although according to the opening times it is supposed to be open until 11 p.m. we were asked to pay at 9:30 p.m. After we pointed out the opening time, the waiter told us that they had house rights and could close whenever they wanted. If we didn't accept that he could call the police. At this point we had already eaten over €600. When we pointed out the opening times, we only pointed out the house rules. It's a shame that a catering company can so easily ruin a group's lovely evening This business is not recommended

Was on a business trip and unfortunately it is closed a lot on Mondays. I went to this inn and was really impressed. It's right on the water, but unfortunately everything outside was full. The food was excellent and I got a small portion. Service friendly and quick.

Once and never again. We waited ages for the food. We've been waiting for the beer for 15 minutes now. It's Monday evening, 4 waiters are serving outside, pretty haphazardly. Don't want to know what it's like on the weekend when there are a lot of guests. Ants run across the table in droves. Food is ok if you don't have high expectations. Location is actually nice, but the service........

It is located directly on the harbor promenade with a view of the town hall. Nice staff, service was good. We only had something to drink so unfortunately I can't say anything about the food.
