Very bad food. Made cheap. Schnitzel from the fryer, fried potatoes served almost raw, salad in the small pot that was on the plate. Overall everything is ready for a lot of money. An outrage. Never again.

Nice atmosphere, but drinks and food are way too expensive

Nice location, reasonable prices. I don't go there to eat. 2 bottles of water and a cyclist total over 18 euros. For me, the price-performance ratio is no longer right!

Great food, friendly service, great and modern atmosphere. But the prices... almost 12 euros for a currywurst with fries is too much - even if the portion is right. We are not on the Kö 😉

The food was very, very good. The service left a lot to be desired. We were in a large group and had to organize the glasses for the pump ourselves and were then given warm glasses for the pilsner

Cozy atmosphere, great service. The boys and girls welcomed us old men politely and correctly, but then we were quickly on first name terms. Good feeling! Solid brewery kitchen with attention to detail. Good mix of homemade food and very, very good convenience products. Apart from the espresso - unfortunately a sentence with an X - I don't know what could be done better. We will definitely and happily come back!

Cozy location right on the Ruhr (city center) where you can sit outside when the weather is nice. I have already tried a few dishes on the menu and can say that they tasted very good. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, therefore deserves the 5 stars.

Extremely long waiting time to then be served by an absolutely rude waiter. We got up and left! We wanted to speak to the boss, he was in the kitchen and didn't have time! Never again ! Never experienced anything like this! Definitely not recommended! It's a shame that you can't give minus stars!

The beer was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, we were rather disappointed with the food. The currywurst was a maximum of 5 degrees warmer than ice cream and very flabby. The baked potato was also only lukewarm and extremely soft, almost mushy...

Service very slow, eating is not recommended 🙈 The location of the terrace is of course great, the interior is great and the toilet is clean.

Good pub food in a nice atmosphere with courteous waiters. Without fault, but also without much differentiation from many others. I had the pulled pork burger and the Wirtshaus schnitzel the next day. Both were very good. The fried potatoes could have more flavor.

Wow, what happened? Last night we wanted to have a beer. The tables outside were pretty dirty, as were the chairs. Well no matter. We waited 30 minutes for our first beer. We were immediately told that we had better order a second one straight away as the receipt list would be very long. Nobody wiped the table, which had grease stains from previous guests. Well... it quickly got cooler and we wanted to sit under the covered outdoor area. When I was asked if that would be ok, I had to clear the table first. We did it ourselves 30 minutes later. Needless to say, the second beer took forever. But the bird has locked the toilet. The garbage was scattered everywhere because the bucket was overflowing and the smell was reminiscent of highway toilets. Approaching the person responsible ended in, yeah, we'll see. For now, we'll avoid the actually great location.

I was there with a friend who also recommended this location to me. Very friendly staff and very fast service. Once there, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful rooms.

We were very disappointed with the food. Goulash was totally hard and inedible. Curry sausage tasteless and all dishes cold. Unfortunately, there was no response to our comments. 🤷 Crossed off our restaurant list for now. .

I have been here several times with my family and it has always been very good. We enjoy the good and delicious food there, especially at Christmas. I can only recommend!

Very tasty food, I had the celery schnitzel. The spare ribs were also very tasty and I also tried the vegan burger. Everything tasted good.

I frequent this location frequently and can't understand some of the bad reviews from individual stories. The location is a tavern with home-style food and - as the name suggests - beer from König Pilsener. If you want something a little better, you can also order a small selection of IPAs by the bottle. The service is good and quick. If it gets busy, you just have to wait a little longer - like in any other location. You have to keep in mind that this is not a fancy place. If you're looking for something like that, you're welcome to drive further to Düsseldorf or something similar. If you want the ambience of a pub, you will be well served here with good food and delicious drinks. Therefore: Just don't let the dubious reviews of the individual fates unsettle you and form your own opinion.

Seven of us were in the store on Mom's birthday. After ordering, it took a relatively long time for the food to come to the table. The kicker: my friend had a screw in her food! When we asked the waiter about it, he didn't respond at all and only came back after a minute. "Yes, the pan broke while serving the food and then it's possible that the screw somehow got into the food." The head waitress didn't even begin to apologize. There was a round of drinks on the house, but the way the incident was handled was really not right. A screw in the food, something like that is really great. Hence two stars. Food is average, the fries are weak.

Best restaurant in Mülheim, very tasty schnitzels and good beer. I can only recommend.

Rustic brewery restaurant where mainly hearty home-style cuisine is served. The quality is impeccable, the service is friendly and fast. The highlight is the location directly on the Ruhr promenade with a view of the water. Heart, what do you want more.

The hot chocolate came in a giant glass, I spilled half of it on myself, don't come.

Definitely expandable and room for improvement. For me personally, the food is too atypical for a brewery or tavern. No unique selling point to be found. Prices have come down and are guaranteed to rise. All in all, I can say: Our group of 10 guests no longer want to come here in the future.

On Sunday January 28th, 2024 the weather was good and the outdoor area was well attended. So I certainly understand longer waiting times. I don't understand why there were two wrong drinks after more than 45 minutes that had already been circulating around the outdoor area for 10 minutes. The service was disinterested and unfriendly. I definitely won't come back.

Erster Sonnentag, volles Haus, Terrasse geöffnet, sehr freundliche und zugewandte Bedienung mit Sonderwunscherfüllung. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Wir kamen spontan ins Wirthaus .trotz viel Betrieb super Atmosphäre. Tolle Bedienung und lecker gegessen. 😋

The Beer is great, the food not the worst (but also not the best) and the staff is friendly.

Wir waren mit über 40 Personen im KöPi Essen und es war super. Der Laden war brechend voll ubd trotzdem blieben keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen wurde an alle innerhalb von 10 Minuten (nachdem das erste Gericht verteilt wurde)serviert,so dass alle zur selben Zeit essen konnten.Geschmeckt hat es allen,kurzfristige Änderungen an den Gerichten waren überhaupt kein Problem. Zudem war der Service mega freundlich,fix und stets darauf bedacht, dass alle zufrieden waren und auch alle Getränkewünsche stets zügig erfüllt wurden. So geht gut organisierte und funktionierende Gastronomie 👍👍👍👍👍

Alles bestens, nur wir konnten nicht lange bleiben. Hatten spontan was trinken und snacken wollen. Man gab uns für 1 1-2 Std. einen Tisch.Hier ist es empfehlenswert zu reservieren.

Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Nur bei der Rechnung war ich unangenehm Überrascht. Es geht mir um folgendes Problem. Habe bei der Bestellung gefragt ob man auch das Essen was ich haben wollte auch als Senioren Teller bekommen kann. Da ich wusste das die eigentliche Portion mir zu viel ist. Denn es muß ja auch nicht sein das die Hälfte der Portion übrig bleibt und dann weggeschmissen wird. Das mache ich immer wenn ich die Größe der Portion kenne. Da meine Frage mit ja beantwortet wurde, hab ich also diese auch bestellt und bekommen. Es reichte mir locker die Portion. Es war von allen etwa die Hälfte der normalen Portion. Die Größe und der Geschmack waren Prima. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Bis ich die Rechnung bekommen habe. Ich habe nicht damit gerechnet das ich den selben Preis bezahlen würde wie für die Normale Portion. Es geht mir nicht um den einen oder anderen Euro mehr oder weniger wenn ich Essen gehe, aber den selben Preis für eine ca halbe Portion finde ich schon fast abzocke. Gruß von einem Gast der nicht oft aber gerne gekommen ist und den Sie wohl verloren haben. Und ich weiß das ich nicht der einzige bin dem das nicht gefällt und demnach beim nächsten Mal woanders hin geht zum Essen. Ich weiß ein Gast ist euch wohl egal. Aber ich bin ja nicht der einzige. Und das wird ja auch weiter erzählt.

Essen, Service und Ambiente waren perfekt. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, die Kinder haben was zu Malen bekommen und das Essen war super.

Ein super Service mit viel Spaß an der Arbeit. Gute Portionen zu soliden Preisen! Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in Mülheim sind!!

Echt geweldige service en eten, Duitsland op zijn best!

Top Adresse! Die Speise- und Getränkekarte ist abwechslungsreich und die Gerichte sehr üppig für verhältnismäßig wenig Geld! Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat immer einen lockeren, lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen. Das Ambiente ist schön rustikal aber dennoch gemütlich. Toll sind natürlich die Tische an denen ein eigenes Fässchen angeschlossen werden kann und man seine Getränke selber zapft! Klare Empfehlung!

Eine absolute Empfehlung. Super Service und geniales Essen. Es wurde extra ein zusätzlicher Tisch dazu gestellt, da alle Plätze besetzt waren. Das nenne ich Kundenservice. Gesamthaft betrachtet eine Eins mit Stern. Weiter so.

Angenehmes Ambiente und der Service ist in Ordnung. Empfehlenswert sind die Rippchen, die wirklich vom Knochen abfallen.

Vom Namen her könnte man denken es wäre ein Abklatsch von dem in Duisburg. Tatsächlich ist es von der Qualität her anders rum. Habe selten ein so gutes Schnitzel gegessen. Preise sind in Ordnung und Ambiente direkt an der Ruhr ist auch schön.

Großes gut besuchtes (voll an einem Montagabend) Lokal. Service immer allgegenwärtig, Essen kam zügig und schön angerichtet an den Platz und war zu dem sehr lecker.

Schöne Lage an der Ruhr. Das Wirtshaus ist gemütlich, stylisch eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Klar, man sollte Köpi mögen, wenn man hierher kommt. Gezapft sehr lecker, Essen erfreulich gut, Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, Ambiente sehr nett und stets gut besucht. Getränkepreise sind eher oben angesetzt, darüber sollte man sich im Klaren sein. Lohnt sich trotzdem!
