How justified is it to charge €7.50 for a Mettbröchen with onions? Or is it a special luxury Mett? The house bread with 3 dips for €12.90 is also an absolute bargain!!!

Nice service, it's nice to sit on the Ruhr. Now to the food: Baked ciabatta with dips (10.90!) overpriced. Bavarian wooden trough (ordered for 2 people, hard to do alone). Portions huge, but the food is okay, nothing more. Soggy fried potatoes, mini meatballs from the discount store. Cooking looks different... Too bad. I don't think I'll eat there anymore

You can easily go there! It's not like the food in a good restaurant, but the food isn't bad. You can sit comfortably with friends indoors and outdoors! Thumbs up

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and really delicious food. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star because some of the chairs were very dirty, even though there wasn't much activity yet. I first had to clean my seat with a napkin so I could sit down. That could still be worked on, but otherwise I really recommend it!

We came at 12.30 with 10 people to have a nice day and empty our cheese. Although according to the opening times it is supposed to be open until 11 p.m. we were asked to pay at 9:30 p.m. After we pointed out the opening time, the waiter told us that they had house rights and could close whenever they wanted. If we didn't accept that he could call the police. At this point we had already eaten over €600. When we pointed out the opening times, we only pointed out the house rules. It's a shame that a catering company can so easily ruin a group's lovely evening This business is not recommended

Once and never again. We waited ages for the food. We've been waiting for the beer for 15 minutes now. It's Monday evening, 4 waiters are serving outside, pretty haphazardly. Don't want to know what it's like on the weekend when there are a lot of guests. Ants run across the table in droves. Food is ok if you don't have high expectations. Location is actually nice, but the service........

Was on a business trip and unfortunately it is closed a lot on Mondays. I went to this inn and was really impressed. It's right on the water, but unfortunately everything outside was full. The food was excellent and I got a small portion. Service friendly and quick.

It is located directly on the harbor promenade with a view of the town hall. Nice staff, service was good. We only had something to drink so unfortunately I can't say anything about the food.

On a sunny day we sat with friends on the Ruhr Promnenade, with a view of the Ruhr and the town hall of Mülheim. There is also boat rental. Was very nice and cozy. Can be recommended.

Very nice location, great service and good food

Deep-fried schnitzel (dead-dry), fries and fried onions from the ready-made package for approx. 22 euros including mayo/ketchup from the tear-off do-it-your-self package. At least with the fried onions you could have defined the difference between a tavern and a chip shop. Unfortunately missed it! The positive aspect is the beautiful location on the Ruhr and the fact that family-friendly products such as currywurst/chips are on the menu. The sinks on the women's toilet scream for renewal.

The price performance is right. The selection of food and drinks is good.

As usual, the food and service were very good and plentiful. The drinks were nice and cool depending on the weather. It took a moment because of the full house, but that wasn't a bad thing. The team can't do more than work. This time we were in the “winter garden”. It falls off a bit compared to the beer garden and the inside, but it was also completely ok. See you ;-)

We can't say anything about the food. Eight people were there and sat outside in the beer garden. Location is nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant is modern. The service still has potential for improvement.

Nice location due to the surrounding area. But it's system gastronomy, which you unfortunately notice in the dishes. The drink prices are also outrageous. Then it's better to go to a restaurant that cooks with love and creativity and doesn't serve canteen food at excessive prices. No thanks...I'd rather support the small restaurateurs who still run their restaurants with passion and love. Quantity is not always great! Oh...and it would also be nice if the table could be cleaned with a damp cloth between table changes. For me, sitting in the dirt and grease left over from the previous ones has nothing to do with good gastronomy...sorry but unfortunately a bit disgusting. Food really canteen level at prices that promise really good food...not like that. There are good alternatives where chefs work with passion and can really cook. Even at McDonald's it tastes better and that's saying something. It stank in the toilets. So I really don't need something like that, only the location on the Ruhr is great, but there are plenty of alternatives that are also on the Ruhr and have great cuisine and are not a fairground like Köpis. Never again... Conclusion: A lot of money for zero quality. Mass processing probably sums it up.

Very bad food. Made cheaply. Schnitzel from the fryer, fried potatoes served almost raw, salad in the small pot that was on the plate. Overall everything is ready for a lot of money. An outrage. Never again.

Nice location, reasonable prices. I don't go there to eat. 2 bottles of water and a cyclist total over 18 euros. For me, the price-performance ratio is no longer right!

The food was very, very good. The service left a lot to be desired. We were in a large group and had to organize the glasses for the pump ourselves and were then given warm glasses for the pilsner

Cozy atmosphere, great service. The boys and girls welcomed us old men politely and correctly, but then we were quickly on first name terms. Good feeling! Solid brewery kitchen with attention to detail. Good mix of homemade food and very, very good convenience products. Apart from the espresso - unfortunately a sentence with an X - I don't know what could be done better. We will definitely and happily come back!

Extremely long waiting time to then be served by an absolutely rude waiter. We got up and left! We wanted to speak to the boss, he was in the kitchen and didn't have time! Never again ! Never experienced anything like this! Definitely not recommended! It's a shame that you can't give minus stars!

The beer was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, we were rather disappointed with the food. The currywurst was a maximum of 5 degrees warmer than ice cream and very flabby. The baked potato was also only lukewarm and extremely soft, almost mushy...

Cozy location right on the Ruhr (city center) where you can sit outside when the weather is nice. I have already tried a few dishes on the menu and can say that they tasted very good. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, therefore deserves the 5 stars.

Good pub food in a nice atmosphere with courteous waiters. Without fault, but also without much differentiation from many others. I had the pulled pork burger and the Wirtshaus schnitzel the next day. Both were very good. The fried potatoes could have more flavor.

Wow, what happened? Last night we wanted to have a beer. The tables outside were pretty dirty, as were the chairs. Well no matter. We waited 30 minutes for our first beer. We were immediately told that we had better order a second one straight away as the receipt list would be very long. Nobody wiped the table, which had grease stains from previous guests. Well... it quickly got cooler and we wanted to sit under the covered outdoor area. When I was asked if that would be ok, I had to clear the table first. We did it ourselves 30 minutes later. Needless to say, the second beer took forever. But the bird has locked the toilet. The garbage was scattered everywhere because the bucket was overflowing and the smell was reminiscent of highway toilets. Approaching the person responsible ended in, yeah, we'll see. For now, we'll avoid the actually great location.

We were very disappointed with the food. Goulash was totally hard and inedible. Curry sausage tasteless and all dishes cold. Unfortunately, there was no response to our comments. 🤷 Crossed off our restaurant list for now. .

I have been here several times with my family and it has always been very good. We enjoy the good and delicious food there, especially at Christmas. I can only recommend!

Very tasty food, I had the celery schnitzel. The spare ribs were also very tasty and I also tried the vegan burger. Everything tasted good.

I frequent this location frequently and can't understand some of the bad reviews from individual stories. The location is a tavern with home-style food and - as the name suggests - beer from König Pilsener. If you want something a little better, you can also order a small selection of IPAs by the bottle. The service is good and quick. If it gets busy, you just have to wait a little longer - like in any other location. You have to keep in mind that this is not a fancy place. If you're looking for something like that, you're welcome to drive further to Düsseldorf or something similar. If you want the ambience of a pub, you will be well served here with good food and delicious drinks. Therefore: Just don't let the dubious reviews of the individual fates unsettle you and form your own opinion.

Seven of us were in the store on Mom's birthday. After ordering, it took a relatively long time for the food to come to the table. The kicker: my friend had a screw in her food! When we asked the waiter about it, he didn't respond at all and only came back after a minute. "Yes, the pan broke while serving the food and then it's possible that the screw somehow got into the food." The head waitress didn't even begin to apologize. There was a round of drinks on the house, but the way the incident was handled was really not right. A screw in the food, something like that is really great. Hence two stars. Food is average, the fries are weak.

Rustic brewery restaurant where mainly hearty home-style cuisine is served. The quality is impeccable, the service is friendly and fast. The highlight is the location directly on the Ruhr promenade with a view of the water. Heart, what do you want more.
