It was busy at the Flat on Friday, but the service handled it well. Food was good. Recommended roast and meatloaf.

A very nice location directly on Lake Eixer. Christian Horneffer constantly has new ideas for locations and events and he follows through with them. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious. We really enjoy being there.

All in all a lovely evening was spent there, ending at the bowling alley.

The four of us ate here and had a hearty meal with dessert and coffee. Since only a third of the seats were occupied, we stayed seated longer and talked without ordering because it was already 10 p.m. When the waitress treated us very unfriendly, we decided to leave. It's a shame because my husband and I were in the restaurant for the first time. So it was the last time for us.

Great restaurant, very tasty good food. Unfortunately the restaurant will close on October 31, 2024 It will definitely be missed. Such quality of food is really a loss😢😢😢

Traditional goose meal. Price/performance is not right. Goose menu for €66 with liquid goose fat and a simple cheap roll, as well as small goose and meat portions.

The steak was to die for. Buttery soft and exactly on point.

We always enjoyed going out to eat at Schützen. The location is fantastic right on the Murg and in summer you can sit on the bridge. Since the change of tenant, the prices have risen slightly. In the photo there is a Mediterranean salad for €17.50 (I personally find it too expensive) the service staff is very friendly and attentive.
