Unfortunately it's no longer particularly worth seeing. First of all, the service was really attentive and friendly and can't do anything for this rating. I was often in this restaurant when I was a student, but after another visit it will probably be the last time, the reasons for this are: 1. Outside seating area was absolutely filthy. Cigarette butts everywhere, and nowhere was there any evidence that a rag was occasionally used here. The yard was filled with folded furniture, pallets, etc. and it felt like you were eating in a storage room. 2. Misanthropic sayings in the toilet. Of course, the restaurant operator can't help what drunk guests put on the doors, but if something like "hate all men" isn't removed/pasted over, you have to assume that it won't bother the operators any further. 3. Food was just mediocre. One of our dishes was extremely salty (that's a matter of taste, but oh well), and one was relatively bland. We also had to wait almost an hour for tarte flambée, even though there were only two other tables occupied besides us. Really a shame.

Rustic beer garden in the inner courtyard. Super good spare ribs and tarte flambée. We have to come back to lots of different types of beer and creations.

The tarte flambée and ribs were absolutely great. When I couldn't decide on a meal, the waitress gave me very good advice. The drinks came quickly and were also great. Although the staff had a small celebration in the courtyard at the same time, the service was friendly, courteous and fast. The ambience is totally cozy and fits the theme of the restaurant. I would be very happy to come back.

We were there for the first time last night and we were really impressed. Service, food and ambience are simply top. We had tarte flambée, ribs and spaetzle, everything was excellent and the BEER... mega. We'd love to come back ☺️

Absolutely nice inn where you can enjoy authentic medieval flair. Here you can get good beer, really great mead varieties and rustic tarte flambée for your stomach. Both the outdoor area in the courtyard and the interior of the restaurant are extremely comfortable and have a great ambience. The service is extremely nice and quick. By the way, the audience is completely mixed. Conclusion: clear recommendation for this great location

4/5 🌟. The restaurant serves good German pizza (Flammkuchen) which is in thin crust and we ordered the pork rib that was recommended by the waitress. Unfortunately the menu is not in English and waitress does not speak English too, you may need to turn on your Google and start the searching before coming to the shop.

It's worth it for the atmosphere in the place. Also some benches in the garden. Food ok. There isn't too much variety but what we got was good. Service a little slow.

We liked the medieval vibe of the restaurant. They mainly served German customers and did not have an English menu. The waitress patiently answered our questions and confirmed that our orders were in line with what we had in mind based on the Google translated menu on our phones. We ordered a German pizza (Flammkuchen) with Black forest ham, onions, and mushrooms, which was cripy and tasty. We also ordered a salad with cheese (Salat Mit Schafskase) and finally the pork rib (Rippchen), which came with a salad (with mixed vegetables). The portion was larger than expected and the vegetables were very fresh. It was one of the few value-for-money places that we had meals during our visits to Munich and Regensburg. Both the waiter and waitress were very friendly. They only accepted cash payment. But there was an ATM a couple of minutes away. So it did not cause an issue to us.

Nice old furnishings, you can also sit outside, but only in the courtyard, not very inviting. We had no problems with the operation, everything worked well. There's not a lot of food on offer, but I think there's enough, lots of flavors of tarte flambée. Delicious beer, we were completely satisfied.

Anyone who is into medieval flair and mead will love it here. Very nice service, drinks from clay jugs and good food.

The ambience takes you back to the Middle Ages. Very pleasant. The food is delicious. The many different beers are a must for every lover. Unfortunately, the people working weren't quite there when I visited. The cook stepped on my dog, the waitress forgot everything straight away, the cashier couldn't do the math, although in my favor, but noticeably weak when adding 2 products together. Unfortunately, it's easy to walk past it. I didn't notice it for 5 years. I will definitely still visit there more often.

Schlechtes Essen und schlechter Service. Schmuddeliger Gastraum und stinkende Toilette. Hatte Bratwurst mit Kraut. Das Kraut war eiskalt. Reklamiert- aufgewärmt- dann kam die Bratwurst kalt. Meine Frau hatte Flammkuchen. War nichts besonderes. Das alles als kochen oder als Restaurant zu bezeichnen ist stark übertrieben. Extrem schlechte Erfahrung. Ich hätte auf den ersten Eindruck “hören” sollen und umkehren sollen.

Very friendly lady in service. Unfortunately, there was so much going on that she even had to run to get around. The salads, the baked bread and the dessert (yoghurt dumplings) were ok. Unfortunately we didn't like the cheese spaetzle. The toilets are really borderline. Rather dark, lots of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling everywhere... everything dusty... open power box.

It was busy at the moment (large group for a celebration), the service was very busy; May occur. Still very nice service with time for a laugh. Tarte flambée was excellent and especially the one with cheese was very stomach filling. Unfortunately there were no dwarves or trolls that evening, so it was more of a peaceful evening without fights among the scum of Ankh-Morporg. But it was OK, blood spatters are difficult to polish out of armor. On the Google reporting system that objected to my review: "The Mended Drum" comes from the novel cycle "The Discworld" by Terry Pratchett. In this dive bar, the scum of the city "Ankh-Morpork" meet up and have nightly brawls (which is what scum does at night). It's culture and not violent fantasies... At least not from me.

There is no English menu but the lady is kind enough to explain in English about what can be offered. Order ribs and pizza. Ribs is but dry and spice and herbal smell is strong. The pizza is thin version like cracker, I like it but a bit salty.

The food deserved six stars. We had the bratwurst with sauerkraut. There is also homemade bread. Grandma couldn't have done a better job with the sauerkraut either. The beer and mead selection is also impressive.

Hello everyone. So first of all, the food and service (operation) were 1a. We had tarte flambée, salad, ribs and meet with hemp flavor. For dessert and to warm our hands, we enjoyed flaming yogurt dumplings with honey and walnuts. Everything to the point. Everything was super tasty and very nicely arranged and the ambience rounds everything off and it would be really fun to eat there. But guys... it was cold as hell. This no longer has anything to do with the Middle Ages when many guests sit at dinner wearing jackets. You no longer feel like eating. You're freezing...The food got cold relatively quickly. When we asked, it was suggested to us that the heating had probably been defective for a long time and that this was often complained about by guests. Do something people. It's really more than unpleasant and you're happy if you can pay and go. We wanted to go somewhere warm. The fun of eating was quickly over. Yes and something else. If you don't feel like cleaning the coffee machine (we were told that after we asked for coffee, it wasn't worth it to dirty the machine because it would take a lot of effort to clean the machine.) then please take coffee from the menu . Toilets: a bit old, but they serve their purpose. Unfortunately disinfectant is empty. In summary: Food top. Service (heating, coffee, etc.) can still be improved. Otherwise, I'd be happy to go again in the summer.

The place was packed when I went there on Saturday evening. They set me at a table with another group, but the waitress asked them before politely if they would be ok with it. Later on another group joined the table, therefore this is standard and it also creates a very nice atmosphere. There are not a lot of free seats. I got a good explanations about the different drinks and got the "Götterdrunk" and the spare ribs. All was very nice and a decent portion! And they were quite quick as well! I would go there again.

Sehr netter Ausklang des Tages. Gemütlich. Das Essen ist einfach aber gut. Prima Sauerkraut und interessant gewürztes selbstgebackenes Brot. Endlich mal Cider! Bekommt man leider nur selten. Hier gibt es eine schöne Auswahl.

Waren das zweimal da und es ist jedesmal wieder ein Erlebnis, das Essen ist lecker und der Met ist in seinen einzigartigen Variationen unglaublich, wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

Das mittelalterliche Feeling wird gut rübergebracht. Die Einrichtung ist entsprechend passend. Gefallen hat mir die Wahl des Geschirr. Die Getränke werden im Ton-Humpen serviert. Das Essen auf Ton-Tellern. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Bieren und Biermischungen hat mir besonders gut gefallen. Die Rippchen waren sehr gut! All das zu einem angemessenen Preis. Leider kann man in dem Lokal nicht mit Karte bezahlen.

Wenig Auswahl, Hauptsächlich kann man wählen zwischen Flammkuchen und Flammkuchen. Es gibt davon sehr sehr viele verschiedene Variationen. Bedienung war freundlich. Es war ziemlich voll, man kann sich kaum richtig bewegen. Mir ist der Laden zu rustikal.

Ersteinmal zu den drei mal fünf Sternen. Ich war das erste Mal da (vor 10 Jahren zählt nicht). Irgendwie war zwar wenig los, aber der Service war etwas gestresst. Ohne Reservierung bekamen wir aber trotzdem einen Platz! Bestellen, Getränke, Essen wurde schnell aufgenommen und gebracht. Der Riesling zu den Ripperl kann ich definitiv empfehlen. Dann war auch irgendwie der Stress weg, also auch fünf Sterne für den Service. Mit dem Rollator geht's, Rollstuhl wird wohl schwierig, aber machbar. Vielleicht sehen wir uns da ja mal.

Einfach eine Institution in Regensburg. Super Getränkeauswahl und leckeres Essen. Der Service ist immer herzlich und die Bar ist einfach super gemütlich

Tolles Ambiente und netter Service. Trotz, dass unser Essen vergessen wurde kann ich nur fünf Sterne geben. Als wir die Mitarbeiterin danach fragten, hat sie sich umgehend gekümmert. Im Schichtwechsel kann das mal passieren. Die Umgebung mit der passenden aber dezenten Dekoration und den Schaffellen auf den Bänken hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Met... ach der Met! Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und wichtig: es gibt veganes Essen und veganen Met!

Eine kleines Restaurant in mittelalterlichem Flair. Es ist sehr urig und authentisch mit Bedienungen in entsprechendnen Outfits und Getränken in Tonbechern. Die Getränke haben alle super geschmeckt und v.a. die Auswahl an Met ist beeindruckend. Als wir das erste Mal da waren und wir uns nicht entscheiden konnten, haben wir sogar extra ein paar Stamperl zum probieren bekommen (gratis!). Die Bedienungen sind allgeimen alle sehr nett! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn ich mal wieder in Regensburg bin!

Corbian wo bist du gewesen? Mit dir ist die Trommel erst komplett. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Tolles Ambiente, völlig unerwartet. Man fühlt sich ins Mittelalter zurück versetzt. Alles top und der Service von Corbian unschlagbar. 100% 5 Star!

Nur 20 Meter trennen die Welt der geflickten Trommel vom Trubel und der Hektik des belanglosen Alltags. Doch einmal dort angekommen, fühlt man sich nicht nur aufgrund des Ambientes an einen anderen Ort versetzt. Traditionell bestellt man hier einen Humpen (oder zur Not halt auch mal nur einen Becher) Met und einen Flamkuchen nach Wahl. Hat sich über viele Jahre bewehrt, schön dass es Euch noch gibt!

Ein Restaurant in einem Hinterhof mit guten Essen, so würde am "zur geflickten Trommel" am besten beschreiben. Es gibt Flammenkuchen in süß und deftig und selbstgemachtes Brot, welches durchaus sehr lecker ist. Wer Mittelalter Flair mag ist hier genau richtig und alle anderen bereuen einen Besuch auch nicht. Einzig und allein eine Brotzeit mit Wurst und Käse vermisst man, also gerade wenn man schon selbstgemachtes Brot anbietet.

Früher war der Laden mal echt gut, mittlerweile ist er aber wirklich nur noch durchschnittlich. Vor allem das Personal ist oft unfähig. Es werden Bestellungen vergessen, verwechselt und man sollte am Ende auch die Rechnung gut kontrollieren. Wir hatten auch schon mal zu viel drauf stehen (und wurden dann noch dumm angemeckert, als ob wir vergessen hätten, was wir bestellt haben). Der Met ist ganz gut. Wir werden in Zukunft nicht mehr hingehen.

Mitten in der Altstadt von Regensburg findet man versteckt diese Urige Taverne. Man fühlt sich sogleich aufgrund von Anbiete, Musik und Personalkleidung sofort in einer anderen Zeit wo es noch Ritter und Prinzessinnen gab. Sehr freundlicher Service, tolle Getränke und leckeres essen mit typischer Musik im Hintergrund. Es empfiehlt sich unbedingt zu Reservieren. Leider müsste allerdings an der Sauberkeit etwas gearbeitet werden. Die Fälle auf denen man sitzt waren bei uns leider ziemlich verschmutzt (abklopfen würde da schon reichen) und vor allem auf den Toiletten sind sehr große Spinnweben an Wänden und Decken. Das finde ich hat mit urigkeit oder ambiente nix zu tun.

Ho chiesto spiegazioni alla cameriera, che ha ammesso di essersi dimenticata, ma ormai la cucina era chiusa (erano le 21.30), e se volevo mangiare dovevo andare da un altra parte. Quando siamo usciti, abbiamo visto che la cucina era ancora in piena operativitá.

Wer auf Flammkuchen steht (auch vegan möglich!) Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ein Punkt abzug (leider) wegen Missverständnissen mit die Bedienung, die uns sachen gebracht hat, was wir nicht bestellt haben. Aber das passiert scho mal.

Wir waren hier mit 10 Leuten Für einen Geburtstag. Es war voll. Sowohl ripperl als auch Flammkuchen kamen zügig und waren alle frisch zubereitet, lecker und heiß. Meines Wissens der einzige laden in Regensburg in dem es mehr gibt bzw..soviele Sorten. Ansonsten gibt es bier und eine wechselnde Tagessuppe, die auch meist überzeugen kann. Der Laden ist speziell, aber für Freunde von gutem Essen und guten Getränken gut geeignet! Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder!

Someone recommended this restaurant to me, and I took our whole group there. Not easy to find, rather hidden deep in the courtyard, with no sign easily visible outside (there is one within the arcade). They have an open eating area outside and inside. A little medieval themed, not bad. Every thing else is modern. Our group had a variety of meals; our ribs were just excellent and plentiful, with a wonderful sauce, salad, and bread (baked there). The dish with sausages was also delicious. Mostly, however, they have the flammkuchen, a kind of flat pizza with a range of a bit weird herbs. Not everyone liked them. They played some medieval music in the background; bathrooms have medieval names (a bit incorrect; I am a medievalist and know). Service was fast and friendly, prices very modest considering the amount of food. The 'medieval' beers and meads were quite good.

Uriges Ambiente bietet diese Jahrhunderte Jahre alt wirkende Kneipe. Die Einrichtung ist nett gemacht. Nur die Eingangstür ist aus den 1960er Jahren und verhindert damit die Perfektion der Illusion. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich, jedoch schnell überfordert. Die richtige Dosierung des Service fehlt. Das Essen ist nur Mittelmaß. Der Schwerpunkt der Küche liegt auf Flammkuchen.

Sehr uriges Lokal, perfekte Zeitreise aus unserem Alltag. Ausgestattet mit alten großen Holztischen und Holzbänken. Mit Abstand der beste Flammkuchen und sehr guter Met. Flammkuchen wird auf großen Holzbrettern serviert und die Getränke klassisch im Steinkrug. Preis Leistung echt fair. Gerne wieder.

There were three of us, and we had a good time. They mainly have Flammkuchen, which is a kind of pizza. It’s large but very thin, not as substantial as a pizza, but very delicious. There is a medieval theme going on, dungeons and dragons kind of thing, with some people being dressed up, but it didn’t affect us. Prices are very reasonable.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe in der Trommel zum Essen und waren insgesamt echt sehr zufrieden. Schade war, dass nicht alle von uns Ripperl bestellen konnten, obwohl wir an einem Freitag und auch recht zeitig da waren. Zwei der Gruppe mussten also was anderes nehmen und alle nach uns kommenden Gäste hatten ebenfalls Pech. Dafür ist das Ambiente zum wohlfühlen, es gibt eine große Auswahl an zum Teil ausgefallenen Getränken, vor allem viele interessante Sorten Cider. Die Service-Leute sind sehr unterschiedlich - ein Mann hat uns total nett und locker und offen bedient, eine Frau hingehen wirkte eher genervt von uns und hat bei dem Versuch meiner Freunde, ihre anti-Stimmung mit ein paar Scherzen aufzulockern, die Augen verdreht und sich raushängen lassen, dass sie uns eher blöd findet. Was natürlich ihr gutes Recht ist, aber keiner hat ihr was getan, da muss man nicht so krass für schlechte Stimmung sorgen - zumal im Service. Augen auf bei der Berufswahl. Ansonsten war alles lecker und wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Climb down a few steps and find yourself in a medieval cellar. Large wooden tables and benches covered with cowhides combined with the right decoration make this a special place. Food and service are good and so are the prices. Flammkuchen is our recommendation.

Cozy pub and looks like you are in a medieval place! Even better ... you feel like you are in a sort of like ...”Pirates of the Caribbean” pub... Beers are served in a ceramic mug... Very nice place and staff... Even with our poor German, they understood us and tried to help us... For sure, they also speak English, no worries.

Auf Empfehlung einer Einheimischen sind wir in diesem Keller gelandet, und haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, durften uns aber lang genug mit an einen Tisch setzen um mit unseren Flammkuchen fertig zu werden, die Getränke wurden dann am Tresen gelehrt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam, Speisen und Getränke lecker und reichhaltig.

Durch viele, im Nachhinein unverständliche Bewertungen neugierig, reservierten wir und fanden in netter mittelalterlicher Atmosphäre einen Tisch. Dann begann das Drama: Getränke kamen relativ schnell, das Essen , Flammkuchen ( sehr viel mehr gibt es auch nicht), kam nach ca 1,5 Std., halbkalt. Selbst das zahlen dauerte eine gefühlte Ewigkeit. Beim hinausgehen stellten wir fest, was auch bestätigt wurde, dass der Boden des Flammkuchens fertig geliefert wird, so dass im Lokal nur noch der Belag ergänzt und dann alles gebacken wird. Mehr wäre in der winzigen Küche aber auch gar nicht möglich. Also eine Enttäuschung auf der ganzen Linie! Besser fernbleiben!!
