Gasthof Vroni in Inzell

A beautiful inn with typical Bavarian charm! The food was excellent. The portions were generous, and the service was warm and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, and everything was super clean. Despite the crowds, service was quick. I'd be happy to come back – highly recommended!

We stayed with Vroni again for a week after the renovation in September. The new apartments are fantastic. We immediately felt at home; all the apartments were furnished to a high standard and with lots of love. The Slapnik family is incredibly friendly and personable. The service and food in the restaurant are 👍🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀.

We had dinner at the inn, with a table reservation. The service was very friendly, we didn't have to wait long for the food and drinks, and the food was delicious and plentiful.

I RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND!!! Delicious Bavarian food, everything fresh, juicy, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth. I found this restaurant by accident while looking for a place to eat dinner. I read in one of the comments that it's best to make reservations, but I figured it was after the summer season and before the winter season, so the restaurant would probably be empty. Be warned – when I walked into the restaurant with my fiancé, I was shocked. There were maybe three empty tables; if there were more, you'd better call ahead and book a table, it's worth it! Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile by one of the three waitresses. I felt like she was my aunt waiting to feed me. When she learned I didn't have a reservation, she told me to follow her and showed me two small tables I could choose from. We quickly got our menus, and after 5 minutes, the lovely waitress, Auntie, took our order, and after another 3 minutes, we had our drinks, despite the room being full. The menu included a wide selection of dishes. Delicious Bavarian food. The portions were large, enough to fill you up, or even overeat you. Price - hmmm, I'd pay even more for this kind of food. :) I really recommend it!!

We spent a wonderful week in a fantastic apartment and would have loved to stay longer. The apartment was comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you could wish for; we lacked nothing. We met very friendly hosts. The whole experience was made even more special by the delicious food at Gasthof Vroni. We will definitely be back!

A very long wait of over an hour, and unfriendly service with the response, "You have to be patient with the doctor." The inn also seems dated. However, the food was excellent, especially the cordon bleu. Unfortunately, the poor service outweighs the good impression of the food.

The restaurant is quite okay. The staff is very friendly and on the ball. The food is also good, especially the Kaiserschmarren. The ambiance isn't quite as cozy. It's unfortunately a bit dated.

I can only give it 5 🌟!! We spent our two-week vacation in a beautiful, very clean apartment! Everything we needed was there! The food at the inn was also very good!! And not to forget the very friendly and welcoming hosts!! This house truly leaves nothing to be desired!! Highly recommended!!

Located just off the main road in Inzell, this place was quite busy on the Saturday night that we went. Despite this and the lack of English language proficiency, the waitress was excellent with her service and recommendations. We went for typical Bavarian meals including soups in July. All the dishes were extremely tasty and the side salads had a magical potato puree in it that was phenomenal. The price did not break the bank either. Great place

After our positive experience, we were happy to return for dinner a second time. A good and extensive selection of dishes was important on both visits. The price and taste were good, and there was nothing to complain about. The service was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive.

A typical Bavarian restaurant with a beer garden/terrace. The food is all delicious and freshly prepared, and it arrives quickly. The staff is always friendly, even when they're busy. Our dogs were also welcome.

Wir waren am ersten Urlaubstag mittags dort eine Kleinigkeit am Essen. Das war hervorragend, deshalb entschieden wir uns dort auch zum Abend einzugehen. Allerdings mussten wir reservieren, was ja kein Problem war. Abends war unser Platz, der mit Namenszettel reserviert war, von der Bedienung einfach vergeben worden. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob uns das recht ist und bekamen einen Platz in der Mitte. Keine Karte direkt bekommen, nach fadtc15 Minuten kam eine Bedienungen und fragte nach Getränken. Dann bekamen wir auch endlich die Speisekarte. Nachdem die Getränke fast leer waren, nahm eine andere Bedienung auch endlich einmal unsere Bestellung auf. Das Abendessen war im Gegensatz zum Mittag nichts besonderes und eine recht kleine Portion. Ich beobachtete an diesem Abend, dass wir nicht die einzigen waren, die lange auf eine Bedienung warten mussten. Sie waren total überfordert.

Restaurant review: We had the beef goulash, the venison goulash, and a children's schnitzel today. Everything was delicious, and we were all more than full. The service (dressed in dirndls, as is appropriate) was very friendly, and we felt very comfortable the entire time. The price is reasonable for the food and the quantity. Thank you very much.

We are currently on holiday in Inzell with my Parson Russell Terrier, Timmy. We ate at the Vroni restaurant on Sunday and Monday. We were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious 😋, and the service was really friendly. When we went to eat at Vroni on Monday - my Parson Russell Terrier, Timmy, was with us, of course - there was some commotion with two large dogs; Timmy was scared of them. We were immediately given a different table - a big compliment to the friendly waitress who reacted immediately. This meant that we and our Parson Russell Terrier, Timmy, were able to enjoy our meal in peace. I also thanked the waitress very much for the different table. It's not a given that you get a different table. We're going to eat at Vroni again on Thursday, just like we did on Friday, before our holiday ends on Saturday and we go home. I can really recommend the Vroni restaurant to everyone. The food there is excellent.

What can I say...full stars. Best restaurant in all of Inzell. Tried the entire menu, everything tasted great. The goulash soup was the best I've ever eaten. Service was friendly and quick. Pepper loin with fries and a small salad. There is no better way to prepare a piece of meat. To the point PERFECT!!! The side dishes were also very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. This year (2024/2025) we were in Vroni for the first time since the holiday apartments were renovated. What can I say, 10 out of 10! We have appreciated the menu and the extremely friendly service for decades! Thank you very much to the Slapnik family and the whole team! Very friendly, uncomplicated and professional!

I can't rate the rooms because I wasn't there, but the food is great and the price is reasonable. Real German cooking is still done here, with love.

Very unfriendly. Despite a reservation, a chair was missing and two people had to share the front end. You didn't feel welcome from the start and the food wasn't worth it. The place has much better to offer.

Review expressly refers to a visit to the restaurant. We made reservations at very short notice, only on the day of our visit. Reservations for the evening are recommended, the restaurant was very busy. The map is extensive and regionally adapted. Children's meals are also available at very fair prices. The service is friendly, fast, attentive and courteous. Empty glasses are recognized, further requests are asked immediately, tables are only cleared when everyone has finished eating. The dishes we ordered, including Gröstl and Cordon Bleu, all arrived at the same time and were really tasty.

Reserved a table 2 weeks ago. I would strongly recommend it to everyone - as people really stand at the door and wait. Nice quaint shop. Good selection of food and drinks. We had 1x CordonBleu with fries, 1x Leberkase with fried potatoes and 1x Original/Classic Goulash with dumplings. All 3 dishes were ready after about 20-25 minutes. Excellent quality. The service was very polite, very nice and always had a funny saying. That's how it has to be. Good value for money…

During our week-long vacation we were already guests for dinner 4 times 👍... Service is quick and friendly 👍, service is great, food tastes great 👍... and I even got the meal I personally wanted 😄... I just wanted to try the delicious bread dumplings/ only with sauce....and my wish was fulfilled....by the boss herself 🌻..2 days in a row....thank you very much 👍👍👍🫶... Important to know: always pre-order...!!!!! Highlight on the last day or at the end: we both had a liqueur on the house... Dear Vroni and team... many, many thanks to all of you!!! Keep it up🫶👍and good luck with your new project!!!

We wanted to try the inn because we were looking for a German restaurant. Parking is available on site but we were intercepted right at the entrance and asked if we had reserved? Unfortunately not and it was so fully booked that we wanted to try it again the next day with a reservation. That worked too. The question was still asked of every new guest who arrived and many had to leave if they didn't agree to a time slot or there were too many of them. Basically it speaks for itself, especially since there is a large selection of restaurants in the area. The waitress in a dirndl brought us the menu straight away, was friendly and had a sense of humor. Drinks and food came quickly and the food was very good and plentiful. Yes, we were a bit shocked at the price at first, but on the other hand, where else can you get a meal for less than €17? It's a holiday and given the quantity and, above all, the taste, the price was reasonable. There was also a children's menu if someone had smaller children or was hungry and it was cheaper there. In terms of selection: daily menu with roast, fish, dessert, vegetarian. Regular menu with other pan and roast dishes, vegetarian, fish, dessert, children's menu... We ordered: Cordon Bleu, meatloaf with mushroom sauce, Swiss sausage salad (there was a bit of a lack of cheese here) with lettuce and lots of sausage. At the end I treated myself to a drop swirl = exquisite! The waiter who brought the food in between didn't have a traditional costume but sweatpants, but that made it authentic in the country since my host in the village also wears whatever he feels like. So go, support the restaurant and enjoy it. We can only recommend it.

The Gasthof Vroni is a beautiful inn in the center of Inzell, i.e The menu offers typical Bavarian specialties. From roast pork to knuckles and cheese spaetzle, everything your heart desires. The quality of the food is very good, as evidenced by the always well-filled restaurant. Table reservation from > 2 strongly recommended for people. The employees are very friendly and always kept an overview, but one point of criticism: A service person should always be responsible for the entrance area, as a guest already at the table it is very unpleasant when you get the feeling of a well-filled station hall. However, this point is not intended to detract from the quality of the inn; it is possible that the coordination was only bad on that day (10.08.24). Gladly again at any time!

Very, very tasty food and very friendly service

It was the first time in 9 years that we were back in Inzell and, just like back then, the Vroni was one of our main points of contact. What's new is that you MUST reserve tables, otherwise you have no chance of getting a place. At later times you would have to wait an hour for your food, but at 6 p.m. it was much quicker. The quality was top as always. The size of the portions too. Attached is the size of the children's Wiener Schnitzel, impossible for a child to eat. Unfortunately, we know this differently from other restaurants.
