From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the enchanting ambiance: stylish, cozy, and yet absolutely festive. The atmosphere in the igloo is unique – something truly special that immediately creates a wonderful mood and makes the evening truly extraordinary. A huge compliment goes to the service: attentive, friendly, professional, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We felt perfectly cared for at all times. Drinks were always prompt, requests were immediately fulfilled, and yet everything remained relaxed and informal. The absolute highlight of the evening was the menu. Every single course was a delight – perfectly balanced in flavor, high-quality, creative, and beautifully presented. You can immediately tell that the food is prepared with passion and attention to detail. The menu was simply fantastic and elevated our Christmas party to a whole new culinary level. The organization beforehand and the evening itself were outstanding. Everything ran smoothly, professionally, and without stress – exactly as you would want for a company Christmas party. The igloo is something special. We felt very comfortable. The Dagobertshausen Christmas market is simply a must-see and must-experience. We'll be there every year.

The decor and Christmas decorations were very nice and harmonious; four out of five main courses were very good, one was too spicy and hot, so we could only eat half of it. The lack of lactose-free milk or alternatives was somewhat disappointing.

A perfect visit, as always. Although no table was available online, we were able to get a wonderful table for my wife's birthday. The table was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The service was calm and attentive. This is the kind of dining I envision. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Service: Several glasses of red wine were spilled while being poured, including some onto my husband's white shirt. A spoon fell while serving cutlery and broke a glass. Another (used) spoon fell onto my dress while the table was being cleared. Otherwise, the quality of the food, the decor, and the ambiance were excellent. We would gladly return!

Is the Dagobertshausen estate with its Waldschlösschen (Forest Castle) just a dream? No! It's the dream!!! It's our dream come true: a romantic autumn visit in 2025. Upon our arrival and the warm welcome from the reception staff, we immediately noticed: the staff here are highly skilled and perform their jobs with passion, friendliness, and professionalism! Everything in the Waldschlösschen restaurant was decorated and set with an autumnal theme. - Fantastic! A true feast for the eyes, and we instantly felt at ease. We gave it our highest praise, and also for the very inviting estate with its historic ambiance and terraced grounds (which are truly unique). The beautifully maintained, park-like grounds are perfectly suited for many events (e.g., country outings). ... But now the question of all questions arises: Can the chefs' open kitchen arrangement live up to the hype? YES SHE CAN!!! - A dream come true! We were served magically arranged menus of the highest caliber. A delight not only visually, but also culinarily. A delicate interplay of flavors (a touch of sweetness with balanced acidity), subtle umami flavor, perfect cooking time, and beautifully presented portions. For us, this is cuisine of true "Michelin-star quality" at absolutely fair and affordable prices. The high praise is more than justified. The Waldschlösschen is worth every trip and should be at the top of everyone's bucket list or to-do list. Everyone should experience and enjoy such an outstanding experience, such a dream come true, at least once in their life. From the welcome with mulled wine, through the appetizers and main courses to the dessert, everything was perfectly coordinated. A big thank you to Sadik and Stefan, who served us so kindly and professionally. It's not exactly cheap, but worth every penny. We'd love to come back next year to enjoy another such evening.

We went there for dinner yesterday, and before that we visited the lovely pre-Christmas market. We were so impressed with the food in the igloo last year for my 40th birthday and really wanted to try dining inside again. The service, the ambiance, the value for money—everything was just perfect! We've already booked again for my next birthday. I had the delicious pasta with Alba truffles, and my husband had the braised ox cheeks. Mmm, yummy! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the seating is very comfortable. Simply the best restaurant in Marburg and the surrounding area! Atmosphere: Simply unbeatable in the summer, with a playground for our daughter practically right next to the tables but far enough away so no one is disturbed; in the winter and fall, it's simply incredibly cozy and stylishly decorated! Service: In a word, perfect. Stefan and Korashy are always in a good mood, always have the right saying and, above all, the right wine recommendation. Price/performance: By no means cheap, but the portions are filling enough to fill you up, and the quality is always simply amazing. Review: The only criticism is that the restaurant is almost always fully booked, sometimes even overbooked, which can sometimes lead to longer waits for the main course. Overall, simply our favorite restaurant, where, thanks to Stefan and Korashy, you feel like you're with "friends."

A lovely evening during our stay at the Hotel Villa Vita Rosenpark was our plan. It was to be a four-course meal in a beautiful atmosphere for me, my husband, and our therapy dog. We received a very friendly welcome and were escorted to a lovely spot and a perfectly decorated table. Unfortunately, after the exquisite appetizer and the delicious pumpkin cream soup, I developed health problems, forcing me to forgo the main course and dessert. The host offered to take the food home, so I could enjoy it the next day. Even then, it was still a delight. My husband was so enthusiastic about the meal that he has already planned a visit to the Waldschlösschen on his next visit to Marburg. We can, would like to, no, we must recommend this restaurant to connoisseurs. We would especially like to praise the excellent, polite, and friendly service. A highly professional team. Thank you very much. We will be returning.

The culinary experience was an absolute highlight: The cuisine is of a level you wouldn't have expected here – creative, perfectly crafted, and simply sublime in taste. Later, we moved inside, and there, too, the ambiance immediately captivated us: cozy, warm, and stylish at the same time. In conclusion: If you value good food, a great atmosphere, and first-class service, you shouldn't miss the Waldschlösschen. A clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back!

The location, atmosphere, and food are absolutely fantastic. You can even make a 550 km drive in your motorhome and treat yourself to this. Hofgut Dagobertshausen also has a fantastic, large parking lot where you can park your motorhome. The service loses one star. The staff can't be blamed for the numerous wasps, but they could have warned us about them beforehand. Despite a veritable invasion of wasps, they didn't even offer to change tables. We skipped dessert because the wasps would have taken it over in no time. What was also unfortunate was that, despite ordering an appetizer, no more bread was brought. That's also unfortunate when you have spreads. But overall, it's definitely worth a visit.
