Delicious food. Kuzbasi highly recommended.

I just have to write another review after receiving excellent care from this restaurant for months. The food is always fresh and you can tell that it is prepared with love and care. The restaurant has a really cozy, family atmosphere - the food tastes like it's home-made, almost as if your own mother cooked it. The prices are fair, the portions are generous (a whole shawarma for just €6.50!), and there are always great deals. As a student, I am of course particularly happy about this. My absolute standard dish is the Syrian shawarma - the chicken is super juicy, the sauce is nice and creamy, and the slightly sour cucumbers bring a perfect balance to the taste. Simply delicious! I almost always order manakish with it, preferably with peppers and cheese – spicy, cheesy, simply brilliant. The fried chicken is also a highlight: incredibly crispy and full of flavor. I also think it's great that there are always new dishes on the menu - so there's always something new to discover. One day I will leave this city as a student, but this restaurant will always remain a fond memory for me.

RECOMMENDATION! We were there during a weekend trip to Marburg and had an exceptionally nice evening! The meal was an absolute delight from the starter to the dessert to the drinks. The atmosphere is very inviting. We felt so comfortable that we stayed there the whole evening. The owner and the service staff were super nice and accommodating. It was just perfect all around, thank you for the lovely evening! If we are in Marburg again, we will definitely come back! :)

Food was good, the duck was a bit tough, the coconut sauce with rice and chicken breast was very tasty, the drinks took longer than the food. Spring rolls were tasty but a bit expensive. All in all 4 out of 5 stars.

Best burger far and wide. I haven't even had a burger like this in the USA. Meat from the butcher in the neighboring town. Price performance top. Boss is a great guy. Everything perfect.

The colleague makes everything very fresh and pays attention to hygiene. They have wonderful shawarma there. But my Achi never has Sauda Shawarma there. >:(

It was our first time eating at Emils and we'll be back 👍🏻 The staff was very accommodating and nice, even though the restaurant was full (make sure to reserve a table), everything exuded a calmness that made you feel very comfortable. The food and dessert were very tasty.

We ordered lahmacun with veal and it was like a taste explosion in our mouths! Upon request, we were given a glass with ice to accompany the drink. So really great service!
