Quite a nice atmosphere, a good concept with the individual composition of the burger. But: The fries tasted of old grease, and the meat was heavily seasoned and covered in large chunks of jelly. I quickly lost my appetite. I won't be going back!

We received a friendly welcome right away. A cool location, very clean, and clean restrooms. The menu was easy to understand. There's also something for vegetarians. The food was ready promptly and the set menu was great value. The burgers were fresh and delicious. The fries were heavenly. We'd go back anytime. Full marks.

We discovered Shaky Shake by chance today while walking through Marburg. The 7-star rating on TripAdvisor on the outside board made us curious to see what it was all about. So, we went straight to the fun. We were greeted very warmly by the waitress right at the front counter. They explained the process to us, and then we chose one of the many comfortable seats in the quaint restaurant. The burgers and fries were very, very good quality. You could choose your own ingredients. We will definitely be back.

A nice place for a quick snack. The burgers taste really fresh, and the student discount is a plus, of course. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's definitely recommended for a shake or a quick bite.

A truly charming little burger restaurant in the heart of Marburg. We stumbled upon it by chance; we were simply hungry, and we stopped in spontaneously. The food really impressed us; everything was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be back. A quick note for new visitors: they only accept cash. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted. But the food is definitely worth it.

We were there for the first time today. We thought the food was absolutely delicious. We both had the cheeseburger as part of the menu. The fries were also great! We'd love to come back. The staff was also very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for both the service and the ambiance. No card payments accepted. The chairs outside seemed very wobbly and dated. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. 👍🏼

I don't usually write reviews, but this is just something you need to know: Not offering card payments in the middle of town is completely incomprehensible these days – especially in a store that's otherwise equipped with digital ordering and pickup systems. It doesn't make sense at all. I almost felt sorry for the staff: it was clearly their first day, completely alone, and obviously without adequate training. The cash register, the technology, the processes – nothing worked smoothly. The advertised discount wasn't even deducted... You can't treat employees or customers like that. The food was okay, but the entire process and organization behind it are, unfortunately, disastrous.

It’s a pleasant spot to stop for a beer when when you’re walking by the river, but I don’t understand the rave reviews. Beer selection was minimal and they don’t seem to believe in using glasses.

First of all, there is no card payment, which was unfortunately not clear before ordering and was only stated when paying. I had the bacon-cheese-chicken burger, which was very tasty, but it only had a quarter of a slice of bacon on it and the chicken patty was very, very thin and sparse for 9.50 euros. Self-service doesn't bother you and the ambience is Mexican in order.

Were in the city, not at the train station. Definitely recommended for a meal in between. Smelled a lot like chip fat in the store, airing it out would help. Of course, it is also the furniture that attracts the smell. But we can help you there too. The taste was great, but unfortunately I forgot a sauce. And it wasn't a homemade patty, but still ok. The ambience was cozy there, the hygiene is debatable... but would come again.

Wow, so price-performance-wise Definitely the best you can get in Marburg. The waiter was super friendly and very welcoming. For €12 you get a top burger with fries and a drink and then even a student discount. I can really only recommend the store. The burger tasted great.

Burgers are ok - unfortunately too many rolls and not enough meat - too little sauce therefore too dry In my opinion, anyone who doesn't allow card payments or ApplePay these days makes a dubious impression and has probably missed the connection to modern gastronomy. For delicious burgers and, by the way, great BBQ ribs, I definitely recommend taking the short detour to the Chevy Diner. 👍🏼

Me and a friend just ordered there because the restaurant was recommended to us. Unfortunately we were more than disappointed. The burgers all look really good in the pictures, but what we received was worlds away. (I have to say that I canceled the mayo because it wasn't vegan. So there was only mustard and ketchup as a sauce, which is absolutely fine) With a 10€ burger I expect at least a slice of tomato or gherkin, but there was nothing on it, not to mention the one ridiculous lettuce leaf. In addition, the crispy chicken burger was more of a schnitzel bun. My girlfriend's fries weren't convincing either, mostly soft and not quite cooked through. The side salad was okay, but I expected more dressing than just pouring olive oil over it (I then canceled the “dressing” and mixed some myself). I absolutely cannot recommend the store, at least if you order for delivery. The chefs probably try harder when you order in a restaurant as a guest. Unfortunately the 30€ was a waste of money, next time I'd rather order from Basic Kitchen!

The burgers were delicious, you could taste the freshness! You can choose all off your own toppings (for you picky people haha). The fries where also perfect! The staff was really nice and helpfull (as we did not speak german). We really recommend this place!

We were here around lunchtime. The store is attractive both visually and in terms of price. Essentially you build your own burger, which is very convenient. The man at the checkout mumbled completely and didn't really explain how the order was processed. There is no table service here. Apart from the fact that the man just talked to us with Airpods in his ears, he also just looked very demotivated.💀 However, I have to say that the taste is, in my opinion, below average. The fries tasted like old fat and my burger patty tasted burnt :( I also didn't like the ketchup and mayonaise on the burger because they were very dominant. But you can choose your sauces. But I thought it was cool that ketchup and mayo were free and you could take it yourself. But I didn't think it was cool that there was only one cubicle free in the women's toilet where someone had diarrhea before and didn't clean it up💀💀💀 Maybe this is all complaining at a high level, because you have to remember that a burger only costs €7-10 here, but the service and the toilets are things that tend to put you off :(

Very tasty food with very nice service who, when I thought I didn't have enough money, wanted to waive the remaining money, even if I had enough, which was a very nice gesture.

Actually super tasty, but unfortunately when you pick them up they always manage to put the mozzarella burger all the way down. Today it was still fine, most of the time it looks like it has been chewed. Putting extra emphasis on putting the request at the top is ignored every time.
