Incredibly delicious and a super friendly team! I can recommend it wholeheartedly :)

I ordered today via Uber Eats. 1 kibbeh plate and 1 shish tawuk plate. The delivery was very fast for an evening delivery (half an hour), and for that, I give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the shish plate was cold, the fries were soggy, and the chicken pieces were very dry. That wasn't the case last time, so we ordered from Granatapfel again. Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars. My kibbeh plate was very good, but also lukewarm. Extras were included. I hope things go better next time, and then I'll give it 5 stars again.

The location is a prime one. The cafe is very clean and neat. But the restaurant could be better in terms of appearance. The guy working in the shawarma station is very respectful and polite. We ordered from the restaurant and we seated in the cafe. The guys in the cafe also good the food was very good and delicious. And served in clean plates.

Very delicious Arabic food – we really enjoyed it! Even our eight-year-old (rather picky) daughter loved it. The atmosphere really makes you feel a bit like you're on vacation – also thanks to the background music. It's a shame that Marburg is so far away. If we're ever in Marburg again, we'll definitely come back. Insider tip: The ice cream!

When I order online, the extra hummus or extra garlic sauce category is missing on the menu. Ordered via uber eats today and entered hummus as an extra in the info. It actually came with hummus but the garlic sauce was missing, as it said on the menu it should have been there. Maybe uber eats should include it. But everything was still very, very tasty. Mega fast delivery to Sarnau and very friendly driver.

Colorful waffle with pistachio ice cream, café, black tea bubble waffle special...all very tasty! Would love to come back. Next time we'll have something hearty beforehand. We liked it and felt comfortable!

I just have to write another review after receiving excellent care from this restaurant for months. The food is always fresh and you can tell that it is prepared with love and care. The restaurant has a really cozy, family atmosphere - the food tastes like it's home-made, almost as if your own mother cooked it. The prices are fair, the portions are generous (a whole shawarma for just €6.50!), and there are always great deals. As a student, I am of course particularly happy about this. My absolute standard dish is the Syrian shawarma - the chicken is super juicy, the sauce is nice and creamy, and the slightly sour cucumbers bring a perfect balance to the taste. Simply delicious! I almost always order manakish with it, preferably with peppers and cheese – spicy, cheesy, simply brilliant. The fried chicken is also a highlight: incredibly crispy and full of flavor. I also think it's great that there are always new dishes on the menu - so there's always something new to discover. One day I will leave this city as a student, but this restaurant will always remain a fond memory for me.

I can't count how many times I've ordered here - every time the food is incredibly delicious! The portions are more than generous and the taste always remains at the highest level. Ordered there 2 days ago. The taste was actually delicious, but a stomach ache started shortly after eating. I now have food poisoning. Since I hadn't eaten anything else all day (and neither in the following days due to the food poisoning), this food unfortunately remains the only reason I suspect of my illness. I threw away the rest of the food for this reason.

To be honest, after all, for years in this country, the first time I ate shawarma was by chance and I went upstairs to Top. Good luck guys

I had the pleasure of visiting the Pomegranate Restaurant and Café in Marburg and all I can say is that it is a true gem! From the moment I entered the restaurant I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lovingly designed furnishings and Arabic decorations create an authentic ambience that immediately immerses you in the culture. Aside from the amazing food this restaurant and cafe serves, the service is also top notch. The staff was friendly, attentive and really cared about the guests' well-being. You can tell that there is a real passion for gastronomy here. I highly recommend the pomegranate! Whether for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends or just a cozy afternoon with an Arabic coffee - you've come to the right place here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Actually, I don't like shawarma because I've had very bad experiences with shawarma. But this shawarma was sick delicious! After one bite I was already on cloud 10. Employees are also extremely nice and friendly. Definitely a shop for me that I will go to more often!

I have been ordering their food through UberEats this whole month, and I have to say they are one of the best restaurants in Marburg. The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, and they always have a lot of good deals on UberEats. My favorites are: - Fried Chicken: It's crispy and flavorful. The sauce is creamy, not too watery, and very tasty. The coleslaw that comes with it tastes amazing as well. - Syrian Shawarma: I love adding halloumi cheese to it. It's only €6.50 for a small shawarma, with an extra €1 for the cheese. The shawarma is filled with meat, crunchy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Even though it's a small serving, it’s quite filling and very tasty. - Babaganoush: It's tangy and delicious with bread. I love it! It’s rare to find a restaurant that serves this dish in Marburg. - Milkshake: Also very tasty. Personally, I love combining mango with yogurt, along with oat milk. - Manakish: I’ve tried most of the flavors and love all of them, especially the cheese one. - Waffle with Nutella and Fruit: Also nice. This has become my favorite restaurant in Marburg. I will definitely come back for more.

It couldn't be worse. The food doesn't taste good at all and before visiting this restaurant you should know that it is not Arabic or Syrian food. They use turmeric in all dishes, which doesn't taste good at all. The chef should take a cooking course beforehand, otherwise it would be better to stay at home. The service is miserable. The staff is extremely rude, and even though there were hardly any guests in the restaurant, it still took them a long time to respond to my requests. It is not recommended.

Dear café team, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my order that I picked up through the Too Good To Go program. The soup provided tasted good, but it contained a large amount of fat and had a suspicious smell that made me question its freshness. I also found a short black hair in the portion of rice, which is absolutely unacceptable. I ask you to pay more attention to the quality of the food and the hygienic conditions. IT IS WONDERFUL NO DOUBT! We had a gathering of 20 people and ordered a lunch. Appetizers and main dish were perfect and really more than expected . The food was delivered on time ( hot and fresh ) The quantity of the food was more than enough Nice looking dishes. For every Syrian who wants to eat good food and remember the restaurants of the Levant, visit this place. The preparation, the food, the good people, and every detail in the store will take you to Syria. I mean, if you want to remember the thyme and cheese manakish and drink the best cup of tea you will find there, the smell of fatayer misses your heart before you even eat it, as you miss the square and the smell of shawarma that smells like it. If you open your soul, you must indulge in this place, and if you are young and miss home-cooked food, you will eat the best food from the hands of Umm Muhammad’s aunt. May God grant her a long life and grant her peace of mind, O Lord. Honestly and with all honesty, it is one of the best restaurants I have visited in Germany.

I ordered “Kibbeh Labanieh with rice” and was completely thrilled! Not only did the food arrive incredibly quickly, but it was also nice and warm - a rare luxury when it comes to deliveries. Every bite felt like you were enjoying a lovingly prepared meal at mom's house🥹. The dish not only tastes excellent, but you can also tell that it is prepared with a lot of love and dedication. Quality and customer satisfaction are definitely important here. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly order again and again. Kudos to the team!

There is still good and cheap food here. You can get good dishes for around €5. Where is this still available today? I paid €8 for a sandwich plus a drink (cola). Where else can you eat and drink for under €10? You can't find food this cheap in many places anymore. The price-performance ratio here is unbeatably good. You can pay both in cash and by card. Thats how it is suppost to be. Conclusion: I really like coming here because there is very good and cheap food here.

The bubble waffles are particularly recommended. Mostly very lavishly topped with fruit. (Unfortunately More, sometimes less…) In the summer there was also homemade ice cream - unfortunately not in the winter. Still very tasty and recommended!

The absolute best shawarma I have ever eaten, even though I regularly eat shawarma on the go! The meat has nothing to do with wholesale frozen goods and you can see, smell and taste it. I can wholeheartedly recommend anyone who visits Marburg to eat there! The staff are super friendly, the falafel was juicy and delicious and you should write poems about the shawarma ;) Tip: Try the pomegranate sauce!!
