Gutes Essen! Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen. Bereits zum vierten Mal wurde ein Artikel in der App Ubereats als verfügbar angezeigt, den ich bestellt habe – und jedes Mal wurde die Bestellung anschließend storniert. Nachdem das wieder passiert ist, habe ich mir notgedrungen etwas anderes ausgesucht. Daraufhin habe ich das Restaurant höflich kontaktiert und meine berechtigte Beschwerde geäußert. Anstatt Verständnis oder eine Entschuldigung zu erhalten, wurde ich unfreundlich behandelt und meine Kritik wurde sofort als persönlicher Angriff aufgefasst. Im Anschluss wurde sogar meine gesamte Bestellung storniert. Auch das Telefonat verlief leider sehr unangenehm – ich wurde eher angemault, als dass man sich um eine Lösung bemüht hätte. Fehler können passieren. Entscheidend ist jedoch, wie ein Restaurant damit umgeht. Leider habe ich hier weder Kundenorientierung noch einen professionellen Umgang mit berechtigter Kritik erlebt. Aus diesem Grund werde ich dort nicht noch einmal bestellen und kann das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

super lecker, komme immer wieder! Immer frisch und viele vegane und vegetarische Optionen! Wenn ich einen schlechten Tag habe, hole ich mir hier etwas zu essen, dann ist alles schon wieder viel besser😍

Shawarma war spitze und auch das Eis ist zu empfehlen (Pistazie)! Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Tische sind teils im Diner-Style aufgebaut, was ich angenehm finde, leider ist mir aber das Deckenlicht ein wenig zu ungemütlich gewesen.

Ehrlich gesagt war meine Erfahrung mit Ihnen sehr schlecht und unprofessionell. Beim ersten Termin haben Sie eine Darmspiegelung durchgeführt, aber trotzdem wurde mein Problem nicht richtig diagnostiziert. Stattdessen bekam ich ein Medikament für 15 Tage, das überhaupt nichts gebracht hat. Noch schlimmer war, dass Sie mir gesagt haben, ich solle mich melden, falls es nicht hilft – danach haben Sie jedoch überhaupt nicht mehr geantwortet. Nach großer Mühe habe ich erneut einen Termin bekommen und ungefähr anderthalb Monate gewartet, nur damit der Termin einen Tag vorher abgesagt/verschoben wird. So ein Umgang mit Patienten ist respektlos und zeigt mangelndes Interesse sowie fehlende Professionalität. Ehrlich gesagt bereue ich es, meine Zeit bei Ihnen verschwendet zu haben, und ich würde niemandem empfehlen, dieselbe Erfahrung zu machen.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hierher! Das Essen ist jedes Mal hervorragend besonders das Tagesmenü ist immer on top und überzeugt mit frischen Zutaten, viel Geschmack und liebevoller Zubereitung. Man merkt wirklich, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Ein Restaurant, das man einfach weiterempfehlen muss. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Habe ein Petersilie Salat bestellt Tabouleh Das leider sehr alt geschmeckt hat. Das habe ich dem Servicepersonal dann auch gesagt und dann hat mich ein junger Mann auch noch fies zurückgewiesen. Die Qualität ist nicht mehr so wie sie mal war meiner Meinung nach

Ihr seid die gütigsten Menschen. Immer wenn uns das Brot ausgeht, ob Sonntag, Samstag oder an einem anderen Tag, gebt ihr mir ohne zu zögern welches und steht mir bei. Hab gerade bei Uber Eats bestellt, mit der Bitte, mehr von dem salzigen Gemüse in die Box zu packen, die man in dem Angebot eh schon kostenlos bekommt. Ich habe einfach eine separate Box gefüllt damit bekommen. Wie korrekt kann man sein.

Alles verdient mehr als fünf Sterne. Das Essen und die Atmosphäre sind fantastisch, der Ort ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zur Qualität günstig, und das Besondere im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants ist, dass die Sitzplätze so gestaltet sind, dass man viel Privatsphäre hat. Alles TOP!😍😍😍😍

Habe via Too Good to Go ein Ticket für eine Überraschungsbox gehabt und war dementsprechend das erste mal dort. Mein erster Eindruck bleibt leider mein letzter. Kleiner Laden mit recht wenig Platz. Relativ unkoordiniert und nicht sonderlich kommunikativ jeder schreit auf arabisch herum für Menschen mit sensiblen Ohren eher weniger gut. Hatte jemandem mein Ticket gezeigt und dann joa keine Ahnung. Eine halbe Stunde beim routieren des Personals zugesehen. Einer schob ständig ein Stück Kuchen auf dem Tresen umher. Keiner schien so wirklich wohin zu wissen. Am Ende wurden mir einfach 3 Boxen hingeschoben und mit einem Wort gefragt ob ich mein Ticket entwertet habe. Das Essen ist jetzt auch nicht so lecker. Ich hatte Reis der leichte Fäden zog war schon etwas matschig. Und eine Art Zucchini Fleisch Pfanne (?) das einfach bitter und sauer schmeckt. Da waren noch kleine helle Stücke drin die hart waren ich dachte erst es wär Käse oder sowas in der Art aber leider nein denn es waren pure Fett Klumpen. Ich glaube nicht das, dass so sein soll...mir schmeckts nicht. Und in Box Nr.3 war dieses eine Stück Kuchen das ständig von A nach B geschoben wurde. Da es offen herum stand und verbrannt aussieht glaube möchte ich den Geschmackstest lieber weglassen. Anscheint ist laut Inhaber meine Angaben hier nur falsch und scheinbar eingebildet. Für mich erst recht ein Grund nicht mehr wieder zu kommen. Meine Wahrnehmung ist weder getrübt noch falsch. Man sollte sich sowas vielleicht ein wenig zum Anlass nehmen Fehler einzuräumen stattdessen bezichtigt man einen Kunden mit einer Antwort auf eine ehrliche Rezension als Lügner. Da meine Bewertung vom Inhaber gemeldet wurde weil sie nicht sachgemäß und wahrheitsgemäß wäre, gehe ich mutmaßlich davon aus das man hier keine Unangenehmen Bewertungen haben möchte die einfache Tatsachen schildern.

Very delicious food; I especially like the tabbouleh and the sandwiches. My girlfriend says they have the best falafel in town. The atmosphere is more practical than cozy. The seating areas are very comfortable, though. In the summer, they also have ice cream.

What I find truly remarkable is that the quality has been top-notch from the very beginning and has even improved over time. You can really tell that the work here is always done with passion and attention to detail. The moment you walk in, you feel completely at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the oriental decor is designed with great taste and heart. It's almost like a little escape from everyday life. The food is simply wonderfully fresh, aromatic, and authentic. Whether I was there alone, with friends, or for a special occasion, it was always a hit. The service is also consistently friendly, attentive, and warm. You always feel welcome. For me, Granatapfel has long been more than just a restaurant; it's a place you'll always enjoy returning to. And I'm already looking forward to my next meal.

The restaurant itself is unsuspicious looking from the outside, the food is really good though. We sat outside, next to a busy street, hence it was a bit loud (but it was our choice to sit there, so that's on us). Really liked it ☺️

I ordered today via Uber Eats. 1 kibbeh plate and 1 shish tawuk plate. The delivery was very fast for an evening delivery (half an hour), and for that, I give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the shish plate was cold, the fries were soggy, and the chicken pieces were very dry. That wasn't the case last time, so we ordered from Granatapfel again. Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars. My kibbeh plate was very good, but also lukewarm. Extras were included. I hope things go better next time, and then I'll give it 5 stars again.

The location is a prime one. The cafe is very clean and neat. But the restaurant could be better in terms of appearance. The guy working in the shawarma station is very respectful and polite. We ordered from the restaurant and we seated in the cafe. The guys in the cafe also good the food was very good and delicious. And served in clean plates.

Very delicious Arabic food – we really enjoyed it! Even our eight-year-old (rather picky) daughter loved it. The atmosphere really makes you feel a bit like you're on vacation – also thanks to the background music. It's a shame that Marburg is so far away. When I order online, the extra hummus or extra garlic sauce category is missing on the menu. Ordered via uber eats today and entered hummus as an extra in the info. It actually came with hummus but the garlic sauce was missing, as it said on the menu it should have been there. Maybe uber eats should include it. But everything was still very, very tasty. Mega fast delivery to Sarnau and very friendly driver.

I just have to write another review after receiving excellent care from this restaurant for months. The food is always fresh and you can tell that it is prepared with love and care. The restaurant has a really cozy, family atmosphere - the food tastes like it's home-made, almost as if your own mother cooked it. The prices are fair, the portions are generous (a whole shawarma for just €6.50!), and there are always great deals. As a student, I am of course particularly happy about this. My absolute standard dish is the Syrian shawarma - the chicken is super juicy, the sauce is nice and creamy, and the slightly sour cucumbers bring a perfect balance to the taste. Simply delicious! I almost always order manakish with it, preferably with peppers and cheese – spicy, cheesy, simply brilliant. The fried chicken is also a highlight: incredibly crispy and full of flavor. I also think it's great that there are always new dishes on the menu - so there's always something new to discover. One day I will leave this city as a student, but this restaurant will always remain a fond memory for me.

Ordered there 2 days ago. The taste was actually delicious, but a stomach ache started shortly after eating. I now have food poisoning. Since I hadn't eaten anything else all day (and neither in the following days due to the food poisoning), this food unfortunately remains the only reason I suspect of my illness. I threw away the rest of the food for this reason.

Actually, I don't like shawarma because I've had very bad experiences with shawarma. But this shawarma was sick delicious! After one bite I was already on cloud 10. Employees are also extremely nice and friendly. Definitely a shop for me that I will go to more often!

From the moment I entered the restaurant I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Aside from the amazing food this restaurant and cafe serves, the service is also top notch. The staff was friendly, attentive and really cared about the guests' well-being. I have been ordering their food through UberEats this whole month, and I have to say they are one of the best restaurants in Marburg. The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, and they always have a lot of good deals on UberEats. My favorites are: - Fried Chicken: It's crispy and flavorful. The sauce is creamy, not too watery, and very tasty. The coleslaw that comes with it tastes amazing as well. - Syrian Shawarma: I love adding halloumi cheese to it. It's only €6.50 for a small shawarma, with an extra €1 for the cheese. The shawarma is filled with meat, crunchy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Even though it's a small serving, it’s quite filling and very tasty. - Babaganoush: It's tangy and delicious with bread. I love it! It’s rare to find a restaurant that serves this dish in Marburg. - Milkshake: Also very tasty. Personally, I love combining mango with yogurt, along with oat milk. - Manakish: I’ve tried most of the flavors and love all of them, especially the cheese one. - Waffle with Nutella and Fruit: Also nice. This has become my favorite restaurant in Marburg. I will definitely come back for more.

It couldn't be worse. The food doesn't taste good at all and before visiting this restaurant you should know that it is not Arabic or Syrian food. They use turmeric in all dishes, which doesn't taste good at all. The chef should take a cooking course beforehand, otherwise it would be better to stay at home. The service is miserable. The staff is extremely rude, and even though there were hardly any guests in the restaurant, it still took them a long time to respond to my requests. It is not recommended.

Dear café team, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my order that I picked up through the Too Good To Go program. The soup provided tasted good, but it contained a large amount of fat and had a suspicious smell that made me question its freshness. I also found a short black hair in the portion of rice, which is absolutely unacceptable. I ask you to pay more attention to the quality of the food and the hygienic conditions. For every Syrian who wants to eat good food and remember the restaurants of the Levant, visit this place. The preparation, the food, the good people, and every detail in the store will take you to Syria. I mean, if you want to remember the thyme and cheese manakish and drink the best cup of tea you will find there, the smell of fatayer misses your heart before you even eat it, as you miss the square and the smell of shawarma that smells like it. If you open your soul, you must indulge in this place, and if you are young and miss home-cooked food, you will eat the best food from the hands of Umm Muhammad’s aunt. May God grant her a long life and grant her peace of mind, O Lord. Honestly and with all honesty, it is one of the best restaurants I have visited in Germany.

I ordered “Kibbeh Labanieh with rice” and was completely thrilled! Not only did the food arrive incredibly quickly, but it was also nice and warm - a rare luxury when it comes to deliveries. Every bite felt like you were enjoying a lovingly prepared meal at mom's house🥹. The dish not only tastes excellent, but you can also tell that it is prepared with a lot of love and dedication. Quality and customer satisfaction are definitely important here. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly order again and again. Kudos to the team!

There is still good and cheap food here. You can get good dishes for around €5. Where is this still available today? I paid €8 for a sandwich plus a drink (cola). Where else can you eat and drink for under €10? You can't find food this cheap in many places anymore. The price-performance ratio here is unbeatably good. You can pay both in cash and by card. Thats how it is suppost to be. Conclusion: I really like coming here because there is very good and cheap food here.
