I ate here, the restaurant was not clean. The food was cold and not well prepared. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Small restaurant but convenient and good and quiet food

I have been ordering their food through UberEats this whole month, and I have to say they are one of the best restaurants in Marburg. The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, and they always have a lot of good deals on UberEats. My favorites are: - Fried Chicken: It's crispy and flavorful. The sauce is creamy, not too watery, and very tasty. The coleslaw that comes with it tastes amazing as well. - Syrian Shawarma: I love adding halloumi cheese to it. It's only €6.50 for a small shawarma, with an extra €1 for the cheese. The shawarma is filled with meat, crunchy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Even though it's a small serving, it’s quite filling and very tasty. - Babaganoush: It's tangy and delicious with bread. I love it! It’s rare to find a restaurant that serves this dish in Marburg. - Milkshake: Also very tasty. Personally, I love combining mango with yogurt, along with oat milk. - Manakish: I’ve tried most of the flavors and love all of them, especially the cheese one. - Waffle with Nutella and Fruit: Also nice. This has become my favorite restaurant in Marburg. I will definitely come back for more.

It couldn't be worse. The food doesn't taste good at all and before visiting this restaurant you should know that it is not Arabic or Syrian food. They use turmeric in all dishes, which doesn't taste good at all. The chef should take a cooking course beforehand, otherwise it would be better to stay at home. The service is miserable. The staff is extremely rude, and even though there were hardly any guests in the restaurant, it still took them a long time to respond to my requests. It is not recommended.

Dear café team, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my order that I picked up through the Too Good To Go program. The soup provided tasted good, but it contained a large amount of fat and had a suspicious smell that made me question its freshness. I also found a short black hair in the portion of rice, which is absolutely unacceptable. I ask you to pay more attention to the quality of the food and the hygienic conditions. In my opinion the best restaurant in Marburg. Since I don't eat meat, I can only speak about the vegetarian dishes, but homies told me that the shawarma is also extremely good. The music is great, it's very cozy and clean and the staff is super friendly. Also, I don't know if I've ever gotten my food so quickly anywhere else. And for all that, such good prices? <3 Oh, and the café is at least as good. If I could I would just move in there :D <3

IT IS WONDERFUL NO DOUBT! We had a gathering of 20 people and ordered a lunch. Appetizers and main dish were perfect and really more than expected . The food was delivered on time ( hot and fresh ) The quantity of the food was more than enough Nice looking dishes. Very reasonable price 100% satisfied, it is not only my opinion, it also the opinion of my 20 gusts. Granatapfel earned their 5 star rating.

We had an event and I ordered mansaf, rice, freekeh, and appetizers. Praise be to God, the food was meat and chicken, and the taste was wonderful. The appetizers were fresh and very delicious... May God bless you and increase you.

For every Syrian who wants to eat good food and remember the restaurants of the Levant, visit this place. The preparation, the food, the good people, and every detail in the store will take you to Syria. I mean, if you want to remember the thyme and cheese manakish and drink the best cup of tea you will find there, the smell of fatayer misses your heart before you even eat it, as you miss the square and the smell of shawarma that smells like it. If you open your soul, you must indulge in this place, and if you are young and miss home-cooked food, you will eat the best food from the hands of Umm Muhammad’s aunt. May God grant her a long life and grant her peace of mind, O Lord. Honestly and with all honesty, it is one of the best restaurants I have visited in Germany.

I ordered “Kibbeh Labanieh with rice” and was completely thrilled! Not only did the food arrive incredibly quickly, but it was also nice and warm - a rare luxury when it comes to deliveries. Every bite felt like you were enjoying a lovingly prepared meal at mom's house🥹. The dish not only tastes excellent, but you can also tell that it is prepared with a lot of love and dedication. Quality and customer satisfaction are definitely important here. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly order again and again. Kudos to the team!

There is still good and cheap food here. You can get good dishes for around €5. Where is this still available today? I paid €8 for a sandwich plus a drink (cola). Where else can you eat and drink for under €10? You can't find food this cheap in many places anymore. The price-performance ratio here is unbeatably good. You can pay both in cash and by card. Thats how it is suppost to be. Conclusion: I really like coming here because there is very good and cheap food here.

I recommend this place for everyone. Whenever I feel sad and hungry, I come here and the world turns to me again in bright colors. And don’t worry about prices, worry that you still haven’t eaten in this place.

The bubble waffles are particularly recommended. Mostly very lavishly topped with fruit. (Unfortunately More, sometimes less…) In the summer there was also homemade ice cream - unfortunately not in the winter. Still very tasty and recommended!

The absolute best shawarma I have ever eaten, even though I regularly eat shawarma on the go! The meat has nothing to do with wholesale frozen goods and you can see, smell and taste it. I can wholeheartedly recommend anyone who visits Marburg to eat there! The staff are super friendly, the falafel was juicy and delicious and you should write poems about the shawarma ;) Tip: Try the pomegranate sauce!! Greetings to the friends who were there with me, I owe you something xD

Waren mittlerweile das dritte mal da und Essen war immer sehr gut. Kann ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Was ich noch hervorheben ist das sehr nette Personal. Heute habe ich doch tatsächlich mein Handy auf dem Tisch liegen gelassen und als ich nach ca. 10 Minuten wiederkam hat man mich schon erwartet und das Handy überreicht. Vielen Dank! Sowas ist heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich.

Die vegane Falafelrolle war mit 5,50 EUR günstig und schmeckte sehr gut. Der Service war freundlich. Es gab sogar ein kostenloses Falafel-Bällchen als Vorspeise. 💚 Aus Umweltschutzgründen könnte man die Alufolie künftig noch durch eine umweltfreundliche Verpackung ersetzen und auf der Speisekarte die einzelnen veganen Speisen als vegan kennzeichnen.

The food was so good. The service was great. The place has air conditioning which is a great advantage in hot days in Germany. The food seemed lile home cooked food with great quality and sense of healthy (low fat) food.The Fatoush salad was Sooooooo good and the portions are honestly more than enough.
