After we came together with our families for dinner after our civil wedding 4 years ago, no other location was an option for us when we started planning our wedding celebration this year. Found through Google search and visited for the first time. The first impression was good, the menu and the drinks menu were well presented, which made the dishes on offer etc. something you wanted to try out. Delicious regional cuisine and top service For the first, but certainly not the last, time we went to the "Emils - Wirtshaus im Stümpelstal" in Michelbach last night and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything is great, even more than that... absolutely unobtrusive, very attentive and friendly service, very nice ambience and absolutely delicious food - "LOAD & SOUL" ... the red onion chutney in particular was my personal favorite and simply delicious. - The “PASTA PFIFFI-KUSS” with fresh chanterelles and Grana Padano is also refined. We felt very comfortable and ate very well. Therefore five stars and a clear recommendation - we will be happy to come back.

I can only recommend the restaurant to everyone. The menu is varied and the food is excellent. At lunchtime I sat outside in the shade under large parasols. The naturally cloudy draft beer served in a stein was delicious. The roast beef from the region was particularly tender and tasty and the fried potatoes were as they should be. I would be happy to come back at any time.

Very nice surprise in the historic heart of the village of our ancestors. Arriving by chance at 2 p.m., we were received with a smile and attentive service throughout the meal. The chef knows how to enhance a simple oyster mushroom omelette and serves his dishes generously. Lots of salads and raw vegetables to accompany. The terrace and the garden are also very pleasant. Worth the detour, we will come back on our next visit to Marburg.

Six of us had dinner twice in the evening. Everyone ordered different food. It came at the same time for everyone. We couldn't fault the quality; nor the service. Hardly any waiting times. Will be back and would be happy to recommend. Today we are testing the café at the market at lunchtime. Here we had to wait a bit for the hot food; but it was still OK. Our children loved the concept :-) I gave up my drink incorrectly; but transformed directly into a wish - without discussion. We can also recommend CAFÉ at the market for coffee, ice cream and snacks.

Today we had dinner at Emils again. Emils is now our absolute favorite restaurant with German cuisine. The food was again of very high quality and impressed with its freshness. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We love it and would love to come back.

The location is very quiet. Sitting in the cozy beer garden you can have a good chat and not be disturbed by any noise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious, the drinks are cool. - All in all there is nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back.

We recently used the restaurant's delivery service. First of all, a big compliment to the homepage and the really well-designed ordering system. Everything went smoothly and you could pay via Paypal. The food was delivered on time and everything was packaged very well. The biggest surprise was the food. Even in the boxes, the food was beautifully presented and looked very appetizing. But we were blown away by the taste and how fresh everything tasted, despite “delivery”. All dishes were still warm. We were all very satisfied and even thrilled. If the food here tastes so good, I'm very curious about the experience directly in the restaurant. It's nice that there are places like this.

Today we were at Emils Wirtshaus for the umpteenth time and had reserved a table for six people. Three different starters were ordered, all of which were beautifully presented and very tasty. The main course was dominated by the “Head Forester” at our table. An “Emils and a pork dish” complemented the main course. The dishes were all really tasty, the meat was very tender and juicy. Unfortunately there were no Wirthaus fries today, as it says on the menu. At the end we had various desserts and coffee. The inn is a great location and definitely a recommendation! Today we spent a wonderful evening in the garden of the Emils inn. We didn't have a reservation and still wanted to dine outside in these summer temperatures. However, the open and friendly, communicative young man in service was imaginative and offered us the last table in the garden. The friendly service and the delicious food were convincing, as was the interesting and imaginative menu, which is very creative in wording and presentation - for us the inn concept is convincingly traditional and progressive at the same time. We love coming back regularly.
