We discovered Emils in our almost unused voucher book when we were in Marburg and we were not disappointed. Very nice welcome, very tasty food and nice ambience, would love to come back!

Very friendly, attentive service. Cozy, somewhat rustic, but still modern-looking atmosphere, which we really liked. The food was pretty good too. Apparently we were unlucky when it came to the quality of the meat. The veal cheeks were a huge portion, but unfortunately laced with too many flax and rinds. The complaint was acknowledged, nothing more. Too bad.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Waldschlösschen. Es hat einfach alles gepasst: toller, sehr zuvorkommender Service, hervorragende Speisen bei denen sehr hochwertigen Produkte verwendet wurden, gemütliche und entspannte Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einen ganz herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team und bis bald - denn wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Small nice restaurant. We sat outside on the edge of the market square in early summer (June). Very comfortable. The service staff was a bit overwhelmed but very nice. The schnitzel was good. The asparagus cream soup was very tasty.

The food is very tasty, the service is okay, the atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned but it is clean. However, going out to eat there spontaneously is not possible, only with advance notice.

If you like good home cooking without chi chi and frills, this is the place for you. Price performance is great.

Dear Yvonne, it was a wonderful evening! All of the food was of the highest quality and I really didn't miss a course. It was a pleasure for me to dine again after a long time with a restaurateur who still knows something about his craft. I would be happy to come back privately on my next visit!😋

The rump steak was not medium rare, but rather bloody, the fries that were on the same plate were soaked in blood, there were small bags of mayonnaise like at the chip shop, the schnitzel was covered with mushroom sauce, which was done by frying it until it was crispy beforehand if it then got soggy becomes. They didn't respond to my complaint at all. The whole restaurant looks old. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time.
