Restaurant Chef Sinan in Marburg

A star for the greeting from the kitchen. This soup tasted excellent. Saturday evening 7.30pm meal with voucher book...we were the only guests until 9pm...that says a lot. ....our portions were small ....the potato wedges were arranged very clearly...so we immediately ordered a portion, which unfortunately didn't come ....we then had to order them again. The service was busy behind the counter on the cell phone... The sea bream we ordered was fried too dark, therefore dry and tasteless... We sat outside and asked the waitress to clean the table. It was very dusty and we also looked in vain for a nice decoration at the table. Only an ashtray...I hung my bag on the chair...when I reached for it I reached into tall nettles right next to me..... All in all very bleak...unfortunately not too recommend...it's a shame...we were really looking forward to this evening...

Unfortunately the food was not as described on the menu. The Sinan Burger was a completely normal burger, there was no hummus to be found, nor was there any eggplant salad to be found anywhere. The dip sauce advertised was ketchup and not as shown on the menu... It was tasty but nothing more

I advise everyone to go to Chef Sinan Restaurant. Mashallah, the food is very good and wonderful, cheap and the treatment is the best. Nice place on the street, calm, nice view, and cleanliness in the place. God willing, may God grant them success and provide them with the widest doors.

It was our first time eating here. The food was super tasty, good quality and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly good. I wanted a small drink for our 2 year old daughter, but this was somehow not possible. She was then served a cocktail glass. Then we ordered a small dish without a side dish for our daughter, unfortunately we were charged the full price of the dish in the end. We ordered ice cream for dessert, a few minutes after placing the order we were told that they hadn't made any ice cream yet, as they probably make it themselves. That was already at 1:30 p.m. - the restaurant opens at 12:00 p.m. For the main course, the menu showed delicious potatoes/potato wedges, but unfortunately there were only fries from a bag. As tasty as the meat was, we probably won't come here again.

An upscale restaurant, more than good reception, and very normal prices

We were here for the first time yesterday and became aware of the food through the voucher book. We really liked/tasted it. The menu is digital on a tablet which is ordered at the service. We were warmly welcomed, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the chairs are comfortable. At the beginning there was soup on the house. The timing went well and there was no idle time so we had to wait a long time for the starter/main course or dessert.

Always worth a visit! The food tastes very good, requests for changes are fulfilled flexibly and the prices are reasonable. The interior design is certainly not to everyone's taste, but it is appropriate. We were here for the fifth and certainly not the last time.

Frankly speaking, it is one of the cleanest and best restaurants in all of Europe. There is no advertising or payment. I am speaking on my conscience. The food is fresh, good and very delicious. The service is excellent, smiling faces and a nice atmosphere. The bathrooms are not cleaner and more upscale than this. I have traveled a distance of 300 kilometers and the atmosphere is frankly equal. Excellent prices. But to be honest, I notice that unfortunately there are no sweets in the buffet, upon request.

Great selection of food (makes you want more), cozy/familiar atmosphere and fair prices! We haven't eaten such incredibly delicious burgers in a long time. Unbedingt ausprobieren, wir können es von Herzen empfehlen. Qualitativ sehr hochwertiges Essen mit toller Auswahl an Speisen, für jeden etwas dabei und trotzdem mal etwas anderes. Zudem sehr gemütlich, sauber und eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Weiter so 😍

The trip to the remote part of Marburg is definitely worth it because of this restaurant. You can take a short trip to Iraq and enjoy original Arabic dishes. I found the tabbouleh with lots of parsley and the starter plate with baba ganoush particularly tasty. Although my main course was only lukewarm, the prawns were very tasty and generous in size, although the rice took some getting used to with its mix of extra noodles, peas and spices mixed into it. I can't recommend the homemade ice cream. According to the menu it should be pistachio ice cream, but it is made of coconut, nuts and chocolate. A bit of pistachio dust on top...not good. The lemon soda was great sour and refreshing, the Arabic mocha was okay. We would receive absolutely friendly service and care. Very nice atmosphere.

The host was very welcoming and ever smiling. Food was amazing they even gave us soup on the house . Toilet very clean with ladies essentials just incase you need them. I can highly recommend them.

We went for dinner because of very good reviews. By 8pm the minced meat kebab was already sold out, which was disappointing! The starter (mix plate) and homemade bread were good and tasty. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the main course was very bad. The meat was cold. Lamb and chicken were dried. The rice portion for €18.50 was quite small. There are definitely better options in the region.

The food was very tasty and we had a free starter platter before the meal even with bread. The starter platter consisted of 3 different homemade spreads and very good aromatic olives, one better than the other. Thank you very much for that. We'll be back, no question... LG

We went here for our wedding anniversary. There was parking nearby. The restaurant was easy to find. There's comfy seating outside and inside. As you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff. The place is beautiful and simple. The chairs are especially very comfortable to sit in. The menu is very modern as they give you a tablet to look at. They have a good selection of items - some traditional Iraqi food and the others are German dishes. It's a good combination in case you go there and not sure what to order. I'm pretty adventurous so I was looking forward to tasting how Iraqi food tastes like. The food came right away so it wasn't a long wait. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious. I think the portion was too much for me and so, I brought the half back home. We also ordered desserts and we loved it. We will definitely return. Thank you for the great food, great ambience, and great service!

Sehr teuer, Speisen ( Fleisch, Pommes... Mit orientalischen Soßen) ab 22€!! Aufwärts. Die Terrasse zur Straße hin mit wackeligen Tischen ohne deko, und verkehrslärm, Essen nicht besonders angerichtet, eher Teller überfüllt, das Restaurant kalt und hell eingerichtet, Bier ohne Schaum und fad im Geschmack. Löffel für espresso und sossenschalen.... Fehlanzeige. Für den Preis erwarte ich mehr! Einen Tag später lediglich einen orientalischen espresso und ein 0,2 Wasser für 7€!!!!!!!!. Sry, zu teuer für Imbiss Ambiente. Zum zahlen muss Gast an die Theke. Zu Ihrer antwort: Ihre Preise passen nicht zum Ambiente und zur Präsentation der Gerichte. Und wenn Ihre Angaben stimmen zum Preis von Wasser und espresso, dann hat man mich um 1€ beschissen, danke 😎

Das Essen war besser = gut als es die Selbstbeweihraeucherung des Chefs im Internet und vor Ort erwarten ließ. Das arabische Eis war sehr gut, das irakische Bier dagegen gewöhnungsbedürftig, erinnerte mich entfernt an russisches Kwas.

Essen wie im Irak! Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant in einem kleinen Ort, in dem nicht mit einer solch speziellen und köstlichen Küche gerechnet wird. Qualitativ hochwertiges Essen mit typisch irakischen Gerichten, freundliches Servicepersonal, tolles arabisches Ambiente und Chef Sinan, der gerne und offen mit seinen Gästen plaudert. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall :)

Richtiges gutes orginales Irakisches essen. Chef Sinan ist ein ausgezichneter Irakischer Koch👍

Haben zwar keine Bilder vom Essen gemacht, aber können die vielen positiven Rezensionen nur bestätigen. Burger und Shawerma waren top, mit sehr guten Beilagen und sehr lecker. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller (Humus/Tabouleh/Auberginen- und Rote Beete Salate) ist ebenfalls mehr als zu empfehlen, denn auch hier merkt man den Anspruch an Frische und Qualität m.E nach. Wenn man /Zutaten/Kräuter und Gewürze herausschmecken kann, dann hat die Küche alles richtig gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr nettes kleines Lokal mit Außenbereich zur Straße hin. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, die Speisekarte ist auf dem Tablet und mit Bildern von jedem Gericht, das hilft sehr, wenn man sonst keine genaue Vorstellung hat. Das Essen war köstlich! Das Hühnchen sehr saftig und zart, der Reis klebt nicht und ist aromatisch, alles gut abgeschmeckt. Der Zitronen-Minz-Saft war sehr erfrischend. Auch der Nachtisch ist gut. Die Bezahlung erfolgt im Restaurant an der Theke, Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Ich fand die Preise angemessen für Qualität und Menge des Esens. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.

Aussuchen der Speisen per Tablet scheint Trendy zu sein, wenn's dann mal funktioniert, leider keine Hintergrundinformationen im Tablet zu den Gerichten. Das Essen war ok, leider kaum gewürzt, fad. Service darf besser sein, öfter mal vorbeikommen und nach Getränken fragen.

Sehr schön, tolles Essen und ein ruhiger und schöner Ort

Chef Sinan ist einzigartig. Ein Stückchen Orient im Herzen von Schröck. Klar kriegt man dort nicht das was man sonst überall bekommt, aber man bekommt dafür Speisen die man sonst nirgendwo bekommt. Tee bis zum abwinken, minutenfrisches Fladenbrot bis man nicht mehr kann und freundliche Behandlung bekommt man für umsonst. Und für Preise die der Qualität angemessen sind darf man authentisch Essen. Wir sind da einmal die Woche seit über einem Jahr und werden das weiter so halten.

Unsere bestellten Speisen waren alle geschmacklich sehr gut. Tolle Orientalische Küche. Der Service war auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Getränke haben etwas auf sich warten lassen. Anstelle der Speisekarte gibt es ein Tablet, bestellen aber herkömmlich. Außerhalb der Speisekarte gibt es seit kurzem noch „normales“ Bier und auch Wein! Hier hat man sich doch nach den Wünschen der Gäste gerichtet. Ein Sternchen Abzug gibt es für die Gemütlichkeit. Wir fanden es sehr hell und etwas kühl, auch von der Temperatur

Vandaag gearriveerd op ons vakantie adres. Zochten via internet een lokaal restaurant. Zijn op goed geluk gegaan. Allervriendelijkste ontvangst en een tafel voor twee voor ons. Hoewel de keuken Arabisch/Duits was zijn we gegaan voor Arabische gerechten. Prima hoofd gerecht en zoet dessert. Geen uitgebreide drankkeuze, maar dat deerde niet.
