I would like to advise schnitzel lovers not to go to this restaurant because the schnitzel was fried to death, the breading was not as if it had been tacked on, but the fact that a master's letter was posted gave me the feeling that this master was sick and the assistant prepared the schnitzel. The service for a large group is poorly organized because drinks and food could not be served at the same time. However, the ambience is very nice.
A great restaurant with lots of charm!
The Rebstöckle in Neuhausen impresses with excellent regional cuisine and lovingly prepared dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, and the service is warm and attentive. Highly recommended – I'd love to come back!
We've eaten there twice now, the first time on a Sunday for lunch.
It was very busy but it went quickly, the service was very friendly and the food was very good.
Unfortunately the second time it was exactly the opposite, it was more than empty and the waitress, let's just say, had no idea what she was doing, it all took a long time, then the food came and it was, well, hunger drove it in.
And yes, we had the same dish as the first time.
And I myself come from the catering industry and such differences are never good.
Since we had to travel 40 kilometers, we decided not to come again, which was a shame
It shouldn't matter when you are there, the quality should be the same
The four of us ate here and had a hearty meal with dessert and coffee. Since only a third of the seats were occupied, we stayed seated longer and talked without ordering because it was already 10 p.m. When the waitress treated us very unfriendly, we decided to leave. It's a shame because my husband and I were in the restaurant for the first time. So it was the last time for us.
This restaurant is now permanently closed.
Here we had delicious Bohemian specialties such as Prague roast pork with sauerkraut and Bohemian bread dumplings and excellent cream roast beef Svickova. The atmosphere is very homely and cozy with several rooms in an old half-timbered house. The service is friendly and attentive and they serve good Czech Pilsner. You have to come back then.
Great restaurant, very tasty good food. Unfortunately the restaurant will close on October 31, 2024
It will definitely be missed. Such quality of food is really a loss😢😢😢
Good home cooking with moderate prices.
The service is friendly.
In summer I think the ambience on the bridge is very nice.
Update 3/22/25
We were looking forward to a good meal, but unfortunately we were seriously disappointed. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly.
The schnitzels we ordered were obviously frozen, dripping with fat and had nothing to do with freshly prepared dishes. The pork medallions were even worse: some of them were undercooked, and one of the pieces had a sour taste - absolutely inedible.
We complained about the pork medallions and got this dish new without any problems.
Unfortunately, some pieces were still raw again. (Not pink)
Overall the experience was disappointing and we will definitely not visit this restaurant again. Unfortunately not a recommendation!
We liked the ambience. The beer was good…
It was a bit noticeable that sauces almost only contain mushrooms, it must be a ready-made sauce because you couldn't leave it out.
So there was a salad and pork knuckle. Both very good
If I lived nearby I would be there more often. Just the changing cards with all sorts of exotic things like offal appeal to me
We were here for the cabbage tour. The atmosphere was great. The cabbage buffet was delicious. Service attentive.
Unfortunately, the alternative meals came much later and the seating was very tight, which wasn't so nice..
