We liked the ambience. The beer was good… It was a bit noticeable that sauces almost only contain mushrooms, it must be a ready-made sauce because you couldn't leave it out. So there was a salad and pork knuckle. Both very good If I lived nearby I would be there more often. Just the changing cards with all sorts of exotic things like offal appeal to me

The service is friendly, the food came quickly, but the menu is reduced to two pages. There are more drinks than food. Exclusively 1 vegetarian salad and a pasta dish for a cheeky €18 each. The pasta dish with extremely coarsely chopped vegetables and only pure cream and some grated cheese was subpar. And that too for the price. No spices on it, nothing. There weren't even children's meals. The atmosphere is very rustic/rather cool. Absolutely not recommended.

Warm traditional environment, large portions and relatively cheap. The main disadvantage is that the catalog is not available in another language, so you have to use a translator to understand what to order or leave it to chance.

It's a nice neighborhood restaurant where you can feel good. The service is fast, friendly and the food is really good.

We were there for lunch today with 8 people. The staff was friendly and took care. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The rooms are beautifully decorated.

A great traditional restaurant with typical German dishes. We had black pudding with sauerkraut. It tasted great and you rarely find dishes like this on a menu anymore.

Unfortunately no luck. Went there for Christmas with the family. Even the reduced menu didn't really appeal to us. A very big drawback: there was no main course for a vegetarian in the group. But there wasn't much choice when it came to meat dishes either. Tuesdays after alcohol in the preparation could not be answered reliably. So all that was left was the schnitzel and that wasn't a revelation to say the least. The service could have made more effort: drinks were delivered twice in 3 hours. Oh well. It's Christmas, so people come like that. It's a shame actually.

Reduced menu for Christmas with (somewhat surprisingly) high prices. Venison goulash was impeccable, although some of the Viennese schnitzel at the table were somewhere between rare and medium rare. That doesn't work, especially with minors. Complaints were possible, but the mood was gone. This simply shouldn't happen and is extremely annoying when you're looking forward to Christmas dinner with your family.

We had dinner here at Christmas. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. There is a deduction for very stained tablecloths, which really doesn't have to be the case. Some music in the background would have been nice too.

We pre-ordered leg of goose & game goulash for 34 people but unfortunately everything went wrong - some cold food, we waited too long for the side dishes, the service was very slow and at some point it stopped serving us at all. Really not recommended Staff very disinterested Too bad

For years I have always enjoyed coming over for a delicious lunch. But now I need to vent a little. The food is delicious, no question. But you have a massive problem with fermentation flies. Even now in December, there are so many flies that are annoying when we eat. Please get this under control.

I went in hungry and thirsty and came out full and happy. I had a goulash from the weekly menu and spicy meat as a starter. The portions are great and the service is great. I'd be happy to go again as I still have to work through the menu. 😋

Super delicious food, German cuisine and sometimes unusual food, we like offal or horse week if you like it, I do, both very tasty.

We were extremely surprised that it was almost too full to get a table without a reservation. We were lucky! Service was very friendly and accommodating despite the stress. No train station flair even though the restaurant was full. Toilet clean, attractively designed and there is also a barrier-free toilet The FOOD was really good German cuisine, none of us had anything to complain about. The plates are generously filled but not overloaded... Unfortunately none of us had room for dessert but here too the offer is appealing. We'll be back, thank you for the lovely Sunday

Rustic pub atmosphere. The hospitality was friendly and accommodating. The food is home-style German home cooking and tastes good. Reservation is advisable.

We stopped here spontaneously and were warmly welcomed by the friendly service. The meal was excellent! We can particularly recommend the goulash with red cabbage and dumplings as well as the meatballs with fried potatoes.

Typical Berlin corner pub, here you only get something really solid on your plate. Berlin cuisine with pork knuckle and so on, highly recommended.

There's German cuisine here, quite simple dishes that you rarely cook at home. I ordered chicken liver with mashed potatoes. The liver was very cross-fried. Everything tasted very good.

I passed there on my bike and wanted a quick drink. After a quarter of an hour I drove on again without a drink because there was no service in sight. However, I don't know why I should give it another star!!

Classic GDR Dishes in an authentic East Berlin area, very tasty. Very much recommended. Tram station is close and it's also a good idea to talk a walk to the nearby stadion and further to orankesee.

Paid 2 wheat beers for 13€, that's outrageous. I couldn't find a drinks menu in the beer garden either. Food was ok. Still, I'll stay away.

We were invited to a youth consecration. There were around 100 people present. A warm/cold buffet was served, everything was very tasty There is also a large beer garden which many of us took advantage of. It was a very cozy evening

It was ok, the food was very sober and what was only available for us guests was ok but we would have had the whole menu to order for the funeral there were only 5 meals to choose from

My mother and I had a delicious dessert of apple rings and vanilla ice cream here on Mother's Day. It was really worth it and I can only recommend it. The service was very nice.

When Corona is over and the restaurant finally opens again, the rolling pin will be the best address for hospitality and German cuisine. Here it tastes like mother's with a freshly tapped beer 🍺. There are events with dancing, or you can sit comfortably outside in the beer garden. It's a neighborhood pub, as rustic as it used to be, with a lot of heart and Berlin snout.

I can only recommend this restaurant because I really like the good home cooking! The staff (including the boss) is super friendly. Since the choice of food varies regularly, it never gets boring. Not only can you eat deliciously on site, I often order my dish and can usually come and pick it up 15 minutes later!

Unremarkable restaurant. We saw the advertising in the football stadium and were excited. Food OK but not great...pretty expensive for the quality. Service staff either didn't speak German or had communication problems...weren't even asked if it was tasty.Won't come back a second time...

The occasion was a small class meeting. The food was great and affordable. The waiter was very nice and we weren't asked to leave after the restaurant closed. Very cozy atmosphere. A successful evening in every respect. 😊

We don't eat there in the afternoon anymore! The food, the kitchen, was probably still cold and they hadn't expected any guests, that's what it looked like and tasted accordingly. Cold fried potatoes, schnitzel, not at all crispy on all plates, totally light, not a bit of frying fat or butter on the schnitzel and the fried potatoes. No smoke rising from the plates, no roasted aromas. None of the plates gave the impression that they had been freshly prepared. Warmed up in the microwave is how I describe what was served to us. Only after complaining could it be seen that the schnitzel had at least seen the inside of the frying pan. And then the price is 27 euros per person and one drink!!!! Definitely not a recommendation, price and performance are disproportionate.

Quite rustic Berlin “pub” with German cuisine. Recommended...

Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe zum Abendessen im „Nudelholz“ und hatten vorher reserviert. Unser Tisch stand im Durchgang zum Saal und im Weg zu den Toiletten. Sehr ungemütlich. Der Service war sehr gut, freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Speisen waren, positiv ausgedrückt, langweilig. Die Preise dafür hoch. Ein kleines Bier 4,50€, Hefeweizen 6,50€, Der Matjes für 22,50€ war gut, die Schnitzel gingen so und die teuren Wildschweinmedaillons für 29,50€ total trocken. Wir hatten unter Kietzgastätte deutlich mehr an Qualität und Gemütlichkeit erwartet. Schade, viel Geld für mäßige Qualität!

Home cooking at its finest....but..... chicken liver for just under €20....!!!!!!....well

We have finally found a restaurant where everything really fits. Very nice service, great food even with theme weeks and a nice beer garden for the warmer season. We've been there several times and we like it.

What happened to the good old rolling pin is what the headline should say. Prices like in upscale restaurants, the quality offered is mediocre and the worst thing was the cleanliness of the toilets!!!! For reasons of decency, I won't post the pictures, but they are available if needed. I also imagine being greeted differently as a guest and appropriate clothing that fits the restaurant would be appropriate and would certainly improve the first impression. The food was great as expected. Good, down-to-earth home cooking. All tables were occupied, but the food came quite quickly. However, the drinks were always a long time coming. The waitress seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and didn't know the special menu... But still, it was a nice evening. We will come back.

Die Gemütlichkeit und Freundlichkeit empfand ich nicht so schön. Die Tischdecke war schlecht gemangelt .Das Essen war super. Da es sich um einen 30.Geburtstag handelte,hatten wir im Vorfeld um einen dekorierten Tisch gebeten,aber das wurde abgelehnt.Schade eigentlich... Wir waren zu dieser Zeit die einzigen Gäste🤔🤨

Service war super. Essen hat geschmeckt, rechtfertigt aber nicht den Preis z.Bsp. für ein Steak of four von 25,50€. Schade, kann man sich als Normalo nicht mehr leisten!

Silvesterparty 2023/2024 war super. Unsere Servicekraft Jule - eine Perle. Gut gelaunt, sehr umsichtig und flink. Immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht hat sie alle Wünsche erfüllt, Klasse 👍

Заказали столик на Рождество за почти пол года. Но это заведение не подготовилось к приходу гостей: -наш стол стоял прямо в проходе,было очень тесно и все ходили буквально " по головам". Хотя дальше в зале было много свободного места,где можно было бы поставить стол. -шницели и гуляш закончились,а в рождественской мини менюкарте были только суп,рыба за 34евро и утка... Не советую

Eine echte Kietzgaststätte mit ungemütlichem Flair. Die Gerichte sind einfach und sehr gut 👍.

Sehr leckere deutsche Küche. Abwechslungsreiche Kost durch diverse Themenwochen z.B. Wildwoche, Pferdewoche...

Waren von Freunden schon mehrmals hierher eingeladen, aber jedesmal sehr wirsch bis letztens sogar unfreundlich bedient worden. Speisen mittlerweile sehr hochpreisig bei durchschnittlicher Qualität und Menge. Beim eigentlich urigem Ambiente, könnte man aber auch mal wieder Staub wischen. Eigentlich möchten wir hierher nicht noch einmal eingeladen werden.

Sorry aber die unfreundlichste Bedienung die ich je erlebt habe .. auch wenn ich nur ein kleines Pils konsumiert habe & das zum 2. Male .. das ist inakzeptabel für einen Menschen aus Österreich .. Johnny .. ☝️

Endlich mal wieder deutsche Küche. Grad in Hohenschönhausen ist das leider Mangelware
