Very tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. The service is really great, all requests were taken into account.

Quaint location, but we only had something to drink.

Super rustic, nice ambience, delicious food with seasonal menus and friendly staff, what more could you want! We've been here three times now and plan to come at least once a season to try out the seasonal dishes. The prices are a little more expensive, but you also get quality food. Top, top! It is advisable to make reservations, especially on weekends. Since the restaurant is located right in the old town of Köpenick, there are almost no parking spaces.

A pretty and well heated interior although noisy when there are people. The meals are of high quality and the service is quite good.

The food was excellent. The service was very accommodating. There were four of us with two children and all the food tasted very good. The atmosphere is very nice thanks to the vaults and the facilities are very cozy. It was very crowded and therefore quite loud. But it didn't bother us. Would visit the restaurant again and recommend it to others.

Traditional restaurant down in the old Köpenick town hall. Delicious food, good service, ambience itself is quite good. Unfortunately I had a bit of bad luck with the location of the table, as it looked a bit like the cat table, opposite the kitchen entrance, despite having made a reservation in advance. The food, however, was very good. The potato pancakes with salmon and lemon cream and the carpaccio are highly recommended.

Everything is tip-top! There is no reason to complain even a little bit here.

A really great restaurant. The food was also really very good. I had the “Ratsherrenplatte” and the smoked potato soup first. It seemed that the service staff were a bit distracted that Sunday and we waited quite a long time. However, our waiter Thomas apologized and was a very pleasant person. All in all a really great evening at the Ratskeller Köpenick.

The taste of the food was excellent. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the food. (Union Berlin had a home game) But it was very crowded that day. ...Pleasant atmosphere.

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. Food is delicious and special. Prices are high, but still justified. There could be a few more vegetarian and vegan dishes. Reservations are mandatory for more than 2 people :)

I have rarely eaten so well and the service is first class

The atmosphere in the cellar is very hearty, the food was very tasty. The service clearly reflected the shortage of skilled workers. Ordering drinks was very slow. The food was ordered as a buffet, so things went relatively smoothly.

Despite making a reservation at short notice, we had a very nice table for two. We were served courteously. Our starters and main courses were very tasty. The house lemonade tastes very good. We'd love to come back.

We wanted to stop by spontaneously on Saturday without a reservation. We were greeted very nicely and were given a nice table in a niche. The service staff quickly provided us with the menu cards and drinks were served very quickly. Freshly tapped beer - very tasty. The dishes were also delivered quickly - we recommend the smoked knuckle with perfect sauerkraut and spicy horseradish. The councilman's plate was also very tasty and very plentiful. Everything came to the table hot and on warmed plates. Thank you for the perfect lunch. We'd love to come back.

Good food - expensive - 1 hour wait for food has become the norm!

Never again! We were visiting Berlin and were really looking forward to the evening and the meal. Unfortunately, despite reservations, the staff was totally overwhelmed with 9 people. We were there at 7 p.m., the food came at 8:30 p.m. We had children with us who got the food at the end and the starter soup came after the main course. One meal (vegetarian salad) was completely missing. No apology, but the chef came to the table to bring us the missing food, he brought a schnitzel instead of the vegetarian meal, when we pointed this out, he became arrogant and didn't want to hear anything about the fact that we had a vegetarian among us and that's why didn't want the schnitzel, he even reproached us.

It's a good address if you're in Köpenick.

The waiter's communication was short and unfriendly. No greeting. Three tables were waiting for cards. After 10 minutes we left. We would have liked to try the food (even if it was for Swiss/pharmacist prices). But then the service has to be better.

I had an onion pie in this restaurant. I have never had such a delicious mean with onions before. It was so good, that I got a bit sad when it was over! Their craft beers are also very delicious. The service is very friendly, gives great recommendations. The atmosphere is very unique. Outside seating area is the best in Sommer. Inside of the building is really inviting for a winter night.

A full hour waiting time from ordering! You should bring a lot of money and time with you. Unfortunately a somewhat strange waiter (ironic?!). At least good location and good food.

Hello: Jazz is probably history now, but we also ended up stranded not far from the pier of the Stern und Kreisschifffahrt to try out the Ratskeller's cuisine. Bottom line: Highly recommended! We were accompanied by attentive and quick service and the kitchen passed our “test” with A. For example, CAESER'S SALAT (deliciously prepared crispy salad with chanterelles) is recommended, with portions at a moderate price. The proximity to the tram and BUS stop was hardly a problem, at least on a Saturday.

Our waitress - Lea, was by far the unfriendly person I have ever experienced in my life. I've seen a lot, but I've never experienced anything like this, even in third-world hovels. It could be that the lady is simply overwhelmed by this task... but that's not my problem.. right?? It doesn't even deserve one star... The food was okay but overpriced. Price and performance do not match.

If you sit outside in sunny weather, that's a good prerequisite. Of course you have to know that it is a place on the street and that you have traffic directly at your plate. But there is a lot to see. The food was great and the quantity was enormous. Another requirement is to be hungry. The service with friendly Berlin humor. In my opinion, this simply belongs here. definitely happy again

Berlin cuisine with style in a great ambience.

Very nice restaurant with very good, tasty food. Fresh ingredients, very well seasoned and good portions. The service was good, nice and attentive, despite the fact that she was alone. Price-performance is definitely right. The meat was super juicy and the vegetables were already crunchy. The apple spritzer was the best I've ever had!! The ambience was great, sat on the patio overlooking the river. Even the trams didn't bother us. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Very nice service from the lady with blonde hair, with whom we had a nice chat about Union Berlin, who were playing that day. 😊The lady also served us last year when we were on vacation for a few days in Berlin. Huge portion of food and very tasty. ✌✌

The price is a bit high, but rightly so. The quality is really good, with a very pleasant and down-to-earth atmosphere. I would definitely like to come here again.

I have eaten here several times with my family. The food was always good. However, today I urgently had to go to the toilet because I came home from a gynecologist's appointment. I'm pregnant. And then I was refused because I wasn't a guest, with a huge sign saying so at the entrance. I even offered money, but I was still not allowed to use the toilet. Luckily the baker next door let me use the toilet; I had also bought something there.

In the summer we sat outside in front of the house and ate a spaetzle pan. Very friendly and quick service. The spaetzle pan was more of a salad with spaetzle - but it tasted good. You sit next to the tram - but it doesn't really bother you.

Good German cuisine in a historic atmosphere. Worth seeing! Good beer, freshly tapped. Unfortunately, no more music events. That's too bad. One point deducted for that.

I really enjoy eating here. Can't complain about anything. I really liked the knuckle with smoke flavor. Add a draft hefeweizen and I'm happy. Ambience also very nice. I'd rather sit inside than outside.

Beautiful town just outside Berlin!

Very friendly staff and a plate cooked with love. You notice that there are cooks at the stove and not ready-made products being slapped together. It's nice that even the cheaper meals for the little ones maintain this quality and there is something healthy for the children!

The old town of Köpenick not only offers a good restaurant but its old town is also worth seeing and is located right on the water where you can also rent a boat and is easily accessible by public transport

In my opinion the best restaurant in Köpenick. Always very tasty, my recommendation is double-decker and land duck. There is a season ticket. The service is very professional and child-friendly. The terrace with a view of the water is also very nice. But proud prices.

Once again and unfortunately far too rarely, we eat at the Ratskeller Köpenick been. Food and service perfect, as well as the ambience. And anyone who complains about the moderate prices should eat somewhere else when the quality of the food is this high. We were sitting outside here in the Köpenick summer. Very nice service and excellent German cuisine. Haven't been here in ages and will be back more often!

I expected more. Service still ok. Ordered food steak, two pieces on the plate, one fried to death and the second medium rare. When asked, it had apparently fallen apart, why different height. Wine which we ordered after 10 minutes not available or not found as stated. Table ordered via One Table. Wedding anniversary, not here again, sorry, unfortunately not recommended.

The food was very good and tasty. You also absolutely can't complain about the ambience. Only the service definitely leaves something to be desired. You had to actively call the waitress several times to find out that the colleague was responsible, who you then had to actively call over again, sometimes several times. Actually, it's a shame. The restaurant was only mediocrely busy at the time, so it was rather incomprehensible.

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Bewertungen, aber nach diesem Erlebnis muss ich es um andere Gäste zu warnen. Wir sind gestern spontan im Ratskeller eingekehrt. Vorweg, das Restaurant ist wunderschön, gestaltet und es lädt wirklich zum verweilen ein. Wir hatten ziemlich Hunger, leider hielt es die junge Dame mit den rosa Haaren die uns bedient hat, nicht für nötig nach dem wir platziert wurden uns die Karten zu reichen, so das wir mehrmals drum bitten mussten. Nachdem wir endlich die Karte hatten hat es ewig gedauert bis wir bestellen, konnten. Bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung hat die junge Dame penetrant nach kalten Rauch gerochen. Scheinbar ist eine Zigarette wichtiger, als Gäste zu bedienen. Das Essen kam nach ungefähr 20 Minuten, was völlig angemessen war. Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung nur leider war der Zander etwas kalt. Leider konnten wir dieses nicht beanstanden, da sich die Kellnerin nicht hat blicken lassen. Und das schlimmste kam zum Schluss. Nachdem wir zum Abschluss noch ein Espresso bestellt hatten, der nie ankommen ist wollten wir zahlen. So wie es scheint, war der Dame das Trinkgelt von 2,30€ ( was bei diesem Service schon mehr als genug ist) zu wenig, was sie lautstark mit einem „pfff“ äußerte, uns den Rücken zu drehte und einfach ging. Sowas ist an Unfreundlichkeit und Dreistigkeit nicht mehr zu übertreffen. Wir werden das Restaurant jedenfalls nicht mehr besuchen und dieses auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

We were in a larger group for dinner here. The food came little by little, the last meal only after I remembered. Freshly prepared, I dare to question it. Visually well presented. For good eaters, the portions may be manageable.

Huge portions, delicious food, friendly accommodating staff and a beautiful timeless decor. It regularly gets crowded around lunchtime, but there is still no chaos - we like to come here often! :)

Great place to view life in Altstadt Kopenick from the terrace. Good, friendly service and delicious food. From the terrace you can see the jetty of the tour boat, so it's a great open-air waiting area.

The restaurant is really great, so I like to come back again and again. The food is incredibly tasty and, from my point of view, appears to be handmade, without any convenience. The Ratskeller itself makes a rustic/noble impression. The outdoor area is beautifully designed as far as possible, but unfortunately it is quite noisy due to the tram stop. Unfortunately, the chairs are very narrow and you are forced to squeeze your legs together. This is particularly uncomfortable for strong people. The service was very friendly and accommodating and wasn't above joining in on the jokes. That was very exhilarating.

You should definitely make a reservation as it is always full and you want to have a reasonable space. But in times of need, you have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food even in the smallest corner.

We were there for Ascension Day in the best spring weather and we were well entertained on the terrace of the Ratskeller. Thanks to the friendly service team! It wasn't our first visit there...we'd love to do it again. We recommend!

Hello everyone, we were in the Ratskeller once unexpectedly and once with a reservation. They were wonderful evenings. We ate very well and received a very friendly welcome. The Ratskeller invites you to linger and celebrate. We had very friendly service and delicious food. I recommend taking the knuckle, you won't regret it.

For me a beautiful jewel restaurant in Köpenick. Super friendly staff. The dishes are of very high quality, so it's worth digging deeper into your pockets. You do something good for your soul, you sometimes think that the captain of Köpenick is your grandfather, you feel that you are in such good hands as a guest. The catering industry and employee wages in Germany should be valued much higher anyway, since I come from outside this industry. By far one of the best kitchens in Berlin.

We ordered a portion of Hackepeter as a starter and it came 40' later. We were hungry and our glasses were empty. When the starter finally came, we asked the waiter if he could prepare the children's meals a little faster. No chance! We waited about an hour for our main courses, which I thought was impossible. The person in charge of the staff noticed that we were dissatisfied and came to us and said: "I heard you're in a hurry". Endless irony. Not even an apology, but literally 'it's like that when you've ordered a starter'. We've never been treated in such an unprofessional and unfriendly way. We paid almost 190 euros and nothing came from the house. Goodwill is an unknown word there. I advise Urgently not to visit this restaurant, despite its central location in Köpenick, look for something else where you feel welcome and are greeted and served nicely. Very disappointing, really.

Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man in Köpenick unterwegs ist und ein reichliches und leckeres Abendessen sucht! Bedienung super zuvorkommend, gegen späteren Abend leicht abwesend, aber lieber so als zu aufdringlich. Unsere Empfehlung: Der Hackepeter sowie Ratsherrenteller (oder so ähnlich); Portionen groß, lecker, Qualität top.
