Nice, unpretentious, friendly place with good-sized portions of authentic German food. For vegetarians, worth noting that I didn't have the spatzle noodles but someone at a neighbouring table did, and they looked and smelled amazing! Obviously there are a wide choice of meat options.

Very good option in Berlin to taste German dishes with a good offer of beers. Very abundant and delicious dishes and a pleasant atmosphere with adequate lighting. I must highlight Philip who provided us with quality service the three nights we ate there. Highly recommended.

During our stay in Berlin, we went three times, and the service and food were always excellent. Large portions and traditional fare (the soups are highly recommended). Philip and Luri were especially attentive (the first night we were served by a very nice guy with a goatee, but we don't know his name). There were five of us, and they treated us wonderfully (it's best to make a reservation, although they let us in without a reservation the first time). Highly recommended!

My wife and I decided to visit for food because it was on our way back to our Hotel. Staff very welcoming and despite being busy we didn't have long to wait to be served with drinks and for the food arriving. Very enjoyable

A Fantastic German Dining Experience at Elefant During our stay in Berlin, the hotel reception at Riu Plaza Berlin recommended Elefant, and we couldn’t have been happier with the suggestion. Just a short walk from our hotel, this restaurant turned out to be a true gem for authentic German cuisine. The food was absolutely fantastic! Each dish was meticulously prepared, with rich flavors and perfectly balanced sauces that truly showcased the best of German culinary tradition. Every bite was a delight, making it clear that a lot of care and expertise went into crafting each meal. What made our experience even more special was the warm hospitality. Despite the restaurant being fully booked on a busy Friday evening, the owner went out of his way to find us a table—a gesture we truly appreciated. We were so impressed that we decided to return two days later to enjoy the experience all over again. And of course, no German meal is complete without a great beer! The selection here was top-notch, and the beer they offered us perfectly complemented the dishes. Elefant is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience of German hospitality, tradition, and fantastic food. If you’re in Berlin and looking for an outstanding meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

I was there for the first time. Food, service, ambience - everything was perfect. Large selection of schnitzel dishes. The map is very extensive, making it difficult to decide.

Located in Berlin's Colorful Kiez, there is a restaurant that is known beyond the city limits. Once again as a guest, we are surprised by the significantly more competent staff, which has improved by 1000% in all areas compared to the last visit. The kitchen hasn't lost any quality and the wine list has also been spruced up again. Hence the deserved rating. Keep it up and then the service will be 5* again

What a great restaurant. I'm here right now, everything is top class including the completely fair prices. The greeting from the kitchen was super lecher, when I asked about it there was a second greeting in 10 seconds on the Risch PLEASE! !! Like Geilenkirchen it is... the goulsch soup is plentiful, spiced, hot and with 50% beef, tender and without fat. I don't think the schnitzel and the fries including the hunter's sauce were that good. Axis of the service, I almost had a pee in mind that something like that really still exists and I travel 200 days a year. ⁹ ********

Great restaurant with great food and friendly service! We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the climate comfortable and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted great! Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, which was attentive and warm. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it!

Really cozy place with fair prices. We got the food quickly (hunter cutlets, spaghetti and toast with ham and eggs). And they asked if we wanted the rest of the spaghetti to take home. It was packed in a box and plastic bag. Thanks for last night.

It's good to eat comfortably. On the left is the recommended schnitzel, and on the right is a menu named Berlin. It's not salty and tastes like home cooking.

I was there at lunchtime today and it wasn't as great as expected. The schnitzel was mediocre and tasted extremely like butter, the fried potatoes felt like they were swimming in oil. The goulash soup tasted bland and you had to add a lot of seasoning, which isn't exactly beneficial. The service was distant and not really attentive. The service worker came to the store with me and has been chatting non-stop since then, complaining about everything (the way we work, etc.) and smoking two cigarettes in an hour, so she was more of a poor service worker. In any case, I won't be coming to the store again.

Tough as leather Goulash. Tough as leather Rolladen. Cabbage rolls taste like what one would imagine dog food to taste like. And to finish....poor, aloof, inefficient service. Come on, braised beef is the easiest thing to cook. There's no excuse. Once I was served a burned schnitzel. Not brown, black. Unpleasant 80's decor but they have a nice patio. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times but I won't be back again.

I got this restaurant advised from friends, u was in the mood for some German / Local dishes. The menu has a variety of tipical Berlin dishes and many schnitzel varieties. I ordered the Königsberger klöpse with potato mush. Lovely soft and fluffy "klöpse" and fresh potato mush. Sure worth returning to try the schnitzel and other dishes too

I found myself in this restaurant during an after-work walk in the city. And I have to say that I don't regret it at all. Because the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The selection of good home-style cuisine is more than sufficient. The food came very quickly and the portion was more than good. So the price/performance is definitely right here. If I'm back in Berlin soon, I'll be happy to come back.

We wanted to visit the cozy restaurant during our summer vacation in 2024, but it was usually busy. Now in winter we visited it spontaneously and managed to get a place. The guys (service) are super friendly, sociable and quick. The portions were large and very tasty (goulash soup, beef goulash and schnitzel). Exactly how you imagine German cuisine to be. We'd love to come back!

A German food restaurant, perfectly served by very professional and friendly waiters. The food, very abundant and delicious. The service was very fast and they were attentive at all times and making sure everything was fine. We had dinner on Christmas Eve and it was a success! We had dessert and also cocktails, and it was a 10! The price seemed right to us, taking into account everything we ate and drank. I wish there were more restaurants like this. I have visited this place many times and I was always satisfied and “fed”. But unfortunately I see that place is downgrading and failing down. In the past they served small starter (small baguette with some cheese or salat) and regular vegetable salat to the schnitzel. It’s a history now. There is neither appetiser nor salat, but price is same of even slightly higher.

Since I live right around the corner from Elephant, I looked in one day... and I have to say, that was the day I did everything right... Since then I have been there very often, alone or with friends, to enjoy the best (honestly meant) pork knuckle in Berlin... I have already visited several places in Berlin where I ordered this exact dish, but only here is it more than perfect. Restaurant is clean, equipped with a super nice team that takes care of every guest personally.... Restaurant is 100% recommended

We both really enjoyed it with you, even when you could only give us the only available seat at the bar. This shows how concerned you are with even the smallest groups. We really enjoyed the Viennese-style schnitzel and the Königsberger meatballs and would be happy to recommend them to future visitors. We really enjoyed it, laughed heartily and while my girlfriend found a new restaurant, I rediscovered an old one. I was last here alone two years ago and I regret not stopping by again.
