Nice atmosphere, quite noisy but we went in the evening. Very friendly and welcoming staff, service was quick. Food was delicious, I ordered the "Hunter's style" schnitzel and the warm apple strudel for dessert.

This place is a hidden treasure in Berlin. It’s nothing fancy, but I have to say the food is some of the best that I’ve ever had in Germany and it’s really just great local food. You can’t go wrong here with the food the service the fun everything.!!!!

Very pleasant restaurant, nice staff and delicious food.

We came with an international group without reservation. No problem at all. Tables were cleaned and arranged for us. Dinner options were great, plenty of German Schnitzels, fish and vegetarian options as well. Portions were good, meat from the grill was actually flamegrilled and tasted really good. Others in the group were also loving it. Apfelstrüdel and Kaiserschmarren for desert, large portions, tasted really good. And at the end of the evening, we got a round of kirsch from the house. We had a lovely time here.

Everything at the elephant is good. The food, the attention and the atmosphere. The goulash soup and schnitzel are not to be missed. And the meatballs are another delight! Super recommended!

Very good food. Nice and friendly waiter service. A wide selection of German dishes. A restaurant friendly to everyone. It's great that there are tables outside. You can pay by cash or card. The area around the restaurant is quite quiet. We had a restaurant very close to the hotel and we found it by accident. It was worth it. There are certainly many more dishes to discover there. The prices are acceptable and the beers are very good.

Excellent and friendly service. Great atmosphere. Food was awesome, we had the beef goulash and rabbit pot. Each came with red cabbage and potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly.

Me and my husband had a great experience at this place! It was very close to our hotel and not even on our list of restaurants to go during our stay, but we are glad we did. Their schnitzels are delicious, the portions are very generous, it will definitely leave you satisfied. If you’re not in the mood for the traditional pork version, they also offer chicken schnitzel - although it's not on the menu, but you can ask for it! I really liked the Swiss schnitzel, and the fried potatoes with bacon on the side. Excellent service, the staff is super friendly, and it has a cozy atmosphere. We liked it so much that we ended up going there two days in a row, and I can't wait to go back in our next visit to Berlin and try other dishes from the menu.

I've been to Berlin and this area several times, but today was the first time I ate there. And I have to say that the food was very good and the service was quick and friendly. And the prices are very, very reasonable for today's times. Please stay like this, because when I come back in August, I will definitely come back to you.

Amazing place. Had complimentary bread and dip whilst waiting for food. Schnitzel was delicious and so tender. Dressing on side salad was really nice. Large portion and was really filling. The little elephant touches on the side of the plate and a little keyring on leaving just elevated the experience. Had a lovely meal and would highly recommend a visit.

Tasty and abundant food. They attended to us even though it was quite late for the schedules in Germany. And in perfect Spanish, explaining the dishes, the desserts... We all liked it a lot

This place is great. I had the goulash soup as a starter I instantly want it again. Coming back here and ordering it as a main. Service was friendly and prompt.

We stopped by spontaneously and were served on Sundays with a space available, even without a reservation. The staff is very nice and competent. They quickly ask about the order, deliver it and keep asking if everything is okay. The beers are great, the food is delicious. I think the prices are really unusually fair. You respond individually to your wishes. Cash or card payment: no problem. We had the hotel just around the corner. Of course: we'll go there again!

Nice, unpretentious, friendly place with good-sized portions of authentic German food. For vegetarians, worth noting that I didn't have the spatzle noodles but someone at a neighbouring table did, and they looked and smelled amazing! Obviously there are a wide choice of meat options.

Very good option in Berlin to taste German dishes with a good offer of beers. Very abundant and delicious dishes and a pleasant atmosphere with adequate lighting. I must highlight Philip who provided us with quality service the three nights we ate there. Highly recommended.

During our stay in Berlin, we went three times, and the service and food were always excellent. Large portions and typical fare (the soups are highly recommended). Philip and Luri were especially attentive (the first night we were served by a very nice guy with a goatee, but we don't know his name). There were five of us, and they treated us wonderfully (it's best to make a reservation, although they let us in the first time). Highly recommended!

A Fantastic German Dining Experience at Elefant During our stay in Berlin, the hotel reception at Riu Plaza Berlin recommended Elefant, and we couldn’t have been happier with the suggestion. Just a short walk from our hotel, this restaurant turned out to be a true gem for authentic German cuisine. The food was absolutely fantastic! Each dish was meticulously prepared, with rich flavors and perfectly balanced sauces that truly showcased the best of German culinary tradition. Every bite was a delight, making it clear that a lot of care and expertise went into crafting each meal. What made our experience even more special was the warm hospitality. Despite the restaurant being fully booked on a busy Friday evening, the owner went out of his way to find us a table—a gesture we truly appreciated. We were so impressed that we decided to return two days later to enjoy the experience all over again. And of course, no German meal is complete without a great beer! The selection here was top-notch, and the beer they offered us perfectly complemented the dishes. Elefant is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience of German hospitality, tradition, and fantastic food. If you’re in Berlin and looking for an outstanding meal, this place is a must-visit. Located in Berlin's Colorful Kiez, there is a restaurant that is known beyond the city limits. Once again as a guest, we are surprised by the significantly more competent staff, which has improved by 1000% in all areas compared to the last visit. The kitchen hasn't lost any quality and the wine list has also been spruced up again. Hence the deserved rating. Keep it up and then the service will be 5* again

What a great restaurant. I'm here right now, everything is top class including the completely fair prices. The greeting from the kitchen was super lecher, when I asked about it there was a second greeting in 10 seconds on the Risch PLEASE! !! Like Geilenkirchen it is... the goulsch soup is plentiful, spiced, hot and with 50% beef, tender and without fat. I don't think the schnitzel and the fries including the hunter's sauce were that good. Axis of the service, I almost had a pee in mind that something like that really still exists and I travel 200 days a year. ⁹ ********

Really cozy place with fair prices. We got the food quickly (hunter cutlets, spaghetti and toast with ham and eggs). And they asked if we wanted the rest of the spaghetti to take home. It was packed in a box and plastic bag. Thanks for last night.

Tough as leather Goulash. Tough as leather Rolladen. Cabbage rolls taste like what one would imagine dog food to taste like. And to finish....poor, aloof, inefficient service. Come on, braised beef is the easiest thing to cook. There's no excuse. Once I was served a burned schnitzel. Not brown, black. Unpleasant 80's decor but they have a nice patio. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times but I won't be back again.

I was there at lunchtime today and it wasn't as great as expected. The schnitzel was mediocre and tasted extremely like butter, the fried potatoes felt like they were swimming in oil. The goulash soup tasted bland and you had to add a lot of seasoning, which isn't exactly beneficial. The service was distant and not really attentive. The service worker came to the store with me and has been chatting non-stop since then, complaining about everything (the way we work, etc.) and smoking two cigarettes in an hour, so she was more of a poor service worker. In any case, I won't be coming to the store again.

I got this restaurant advised from friends, u was in the mood for some German / Local dishes. The menu has a variety of tipical Berlin dishes and many schnitzel varieties. I ordered the Königsberger klöpse with potato mush. Lovely soft and fluffy "klöpse" and fresh potato mush. Sure worth returning to try the schnitzel and other dishes too

Ate here twice and what quality and hospitality. Went here specifically to eat authentic German food and we're glad we did. Good advice and very affordable.
