Wie immer ist ein Besuch des Restaurants in Berlin eine angenehme Pflicht für mich. Das Essen ist qualitativ hervorragend, es gibt tolle Deutsche Küche und Berliner Spezialitäten. Das Service Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und immer sehr herzlich

Good restaurant with a large selection of food. The Brussels sprout casserole was excellent and the schnitzel selection was impressive. The drinks and food were served very quickly and the waitress was super friendly. They also got along very well with our larger group.

Best Berlin cuisine. The beef rulade tasted very good. The veal liver was also the finest. Bravo!

On Saturday, October 19th, 2024, I was here for the first time by chance. Today on Monday, October 21st, 2024, here for the 3rd time and definitely speaks for you. Top food at fair prices from oversized cabbage roulade, Parisian-style schnitzel and liver with homemade mashed potatoes and mega red cabbage, the crowning glory today was warm cheesecake spiced up with delicious coffee, very friendly staff on each of the 3 days and a cool location. I would love to come back next time and bring people with me. A big thank you to the entire team including a big compliment to the kitchen

Maybe they just had a bad day, but... We waited 50 minutes for our food. When we complained it was there within a minute. Instead of an apology, there were unpleasantly personal jokes. Schnitzel was ok at best, unfortunately only lukewarm and the Bearnaise was from a tetra pack. The bill wasn't correct either. Sorry, once and not again.

Great liver dumpling soup eaten. Schnitzel is big enough and very tasty. Very friendly service. Always worth a visit when I'm on vacation in Berlin.

Have been personally on site to order a table for 2 in 1 hour. The answer was that it was absolutely not necessary to book a table only for 2. On arrival 1 hour later, all tables were sold out.....it's really bad style and incompetent feeling for what's going on.... Maybe the food is good....who cares.....when the staff don't know what it's about. Just bad style..👎

I was on a vacation with my mother in Berlin staying at the Riu hotel and we were searching for restaurants nearby, we found the Elefant wich was looking cool so we went at it, everyone was nice and polite, i ordered the schnitzel with fried fries and it was a big portion of the best schnitzel with fries i ever eated, good service, good food and good price. Highly recommended Thank you from Catalonia.

Made s reso online on the same day in early morning then followed by quick confirmation email. When we stepped in, there seemed to be a miscommunication internally so almost got turned away by old bartender in glasses who were a bit grumpy, but the other young bartender apologized right away and accommodated us with great hospitality. Everything was great, authentic food and relaxing vibes, local friendly spot except one person but didn't ruin our night

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Dined here twice when staying in Berlin. We just turned up and they fitted us in both times. Friendly relaxed vibe in the restaurant. The beer and wine options are good and they taste amazing. Quick service. LGBT friendly. Food taste amazing both the schnitzel, Berlin style pork knuckle and königsberger klopse are all fine food options. Also the complementary bread and sour cream and herb deep is very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant when you eat in Berlin.

Great place for German food and alternative options for other tastes too. I recommend to sit outside and enjoy the nice neighborhood atmosphere. They provided blankets for our comfort during a cool night, which was a nice touch and made for a great date night with my wife. Prices were reasonable and service outstanding.

Via TripAdviser dit restaurant gevonden. Handig want het lag op 3min van ons hotel Riu Plaza. Het interieur is heel lokaal Duits en toch gezellig :) Super vriendelijke en vlotte bediening zorgen voor een warme sfeer. De kaart is zeer uitgebreid met alle typisch Duits/Oostenrijkse specialiteiten zoals oa. gebraad, lever en schnitzel op meerdere wijzen. De prijzen zijn meer dan correct. Een absolute aanrader dus.

All about pork, other menu has not too much thought in it, and if your group has vegans you should find something else. Service was good though.

The flavors are bad. Prices are above average. Don't come, you'll regret it.

I came here specifically to eat at a German restaurant. The goulash was very filling and the food was delicious. I was not disappointed.

Typical place in Berlin where we ate really well, unlike other places it doesn't have that stuffy, beer smell. As soon as we entered we were greeted energetically by the staff, all very kind and helpful. We ordered several typical dishes including the goulash, the liver which was amazing and the typical cutlets, all very, very good, we then concluded with some excellent desserts freshly prepared hot. I RECOMMEND IT!

Food is mid, not great but edible, service was terrible, sat outside under the umbrella but started raining and some water was dripping on us, i used the cheap nylon blanket they provided to cover my expensive jacket because there was nowhere else to put it as the table next to us was occupied, the waiter removed the blanket twice off my jacket and the second time he was very rude, knew i did not understand german and kept blabbing at me non stop, despite him knowing english, was very sassy and full of attitude, as you work in the service industry will be good to learn proper customer service skills, the only elephantine thing in this restaurant the the over priced mediocre food and as someone heavily involved in the traveling industry I will make sure to inform all my clients to avoid this establishment when in Berlin

I had fried potatoes...they were swimming in oil...I didn't eat them...not recommended

I sat down hoping to get a meal within space if 45 minutes perhaps one hour and realized that it was unlikely that I was going to be solved my meal within a space of 90 minutes as the service was absolutely appalling. The food is reasonable and the ambulance is severely lacking!!!

Just for a change, a restaurant where the main protagonist is the food. Simple dishes, reasonable portions, reasonable prices.

The Elephant Restaurant! It really is a gem of the area. From the first minute I felt warmly welcome here. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The decor is cozy and elegant. The menu offers a varied selection of seasonal dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. It was a true culinary delight! The combination of aroma and perfection, such high quality ingredients and the presentation of the flan still attract attention. The wine list is also noteworthy. The sommelier recommended one that went perfectly with my meal. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a culinary experience.

Excellent evening spent with family in this restaurant during our stay in Berlin. The plates were generous, the food very good, the servers very friendly. We walked 30 minutes from the hotel to this restaurant because the reviews were good, and we didn't regret it! The neighborhood is great too. THANKS!

Food was really good, but at the end while paying the bill the waiter was very forceful to tip him even though we didn’t want. Please be careful of this before visiting as I felt it was not appropriate behaviour

This is a place where you can enjoy delicious Eisbein at a reasonable price (17.9 euros). The staff were all friendly, and when I went there, bread and cream cheese were even served (service). I read the review and it says a tip is required, but there was no tip requested at all. Highly recommended!

The restaurant offers different versions of Wiener Schnitzel. Mine tasted excellent! The prices are super fair. The ambience is good… inside is very cozy! I'm already looking forward to the winter visits! The staff very nice, professional and taken into account.

We were in Berlin from Thursday to Sunday and ate at Elefant every evening. The food is consistently delicious and the price/performance ratio is great. All the waiters are super nice and we had super chilled evenings there. When we are back in Berlin we will eat at Elephant again. Thanks to all the waiters for the lovely evenings. Everyone, if you want to eat at the Elephant, book a table in advance. We had a fantastic evening at Restaurant Elefant! Food was simply delicious and made our taste buds dance. A very special compliment goes to the kitchen, which obviously knows its craft and cooks with great attention to detail. The price-performance ratio is totally right and the portions are very, very sufficient. The crew was also great, they ensured everything ran smoothly and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. We laughed a lot and the time flew by. We will remember our visit to Restaurant Elefant for a long time and we can't wait to come back. I went there because I heard it was a good schnitzel restaurant. It was a little after lunch time, so there weren't many customers. I ordered schnitzel as recommended by the friendly staff and it was delicious. Although it was summer, it wasn't that hot and there was a gentle breeze so we ate outside. There were no customers inside so the lights were turned off, but you could tell that the atmosphere was good. After the meal, they give you candy along with the bill. As a Korean, I thought it tasted similar to pork cutlet, but I couldn't help but feel that it was a bit more nutty and a little spicy. Please note that the salad that came with it was a bit greasy, so I ordered cider and filtered tap water was provided free of charge with ice, so I also included a tip... It was a pleasant meal.

Being a group menu, the menu is not very good. I suppose that the tourist tour companies offer them menus with very cheap prices.

The food was good, we could feel it was very authentic german food. But they took a very long time to bring our food and even more time for the dessert. And the restaurant wasn't even crowded.
