Havelrestaurant Schwedendamm in Rathenow

We ate at Schwedendamm again after a long time. It was a real treat. The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We celebrated our son's first birthday with 17 people in the club room. We were allowed to decorate ourselves on site, and there were absolutely no problems. They were even kind enough to change the napkin color because we had mainly used green tones in our decorations. We held the birthday party in the club room. The food was absolutely delicious, the arrangements for the buffet were completely straightforward, and in the end, everyone was full and happy! Thank you again so much for everything!

Everyone has different tastes, but unfortunately, they didn't cater to my taste. The appetizer (baked mushroom caps) wasn't tasty. The dip and salad dressing were too bitter for me. It wasn't enjoyable. The main course, a hamburger schnitzel, wasn't seasoned at all, and then the same salad as the appetizer, with the bitter dressing. The fried potatoes were okay. The service was excellent. Everything was quick, and the staff were often present to ask questions.

Hmm, for some regular guests and child soccer players to be refused service is a great thing, never again at the Schwedendamm, this is the second time that this has happened to us as a group of four, Germany is a service desert.

The food was plentiful and delicious. I'd gladly go back.

Definitely worth recommending. The drink prices are rather low. The menu isn't extensive, but there's something for everyone. A very attractive and friendly young waitress accompanied us through lunch. The chicken breast, however, was really overcooked, which was also noticeable. Everything else was excellent. It's very nice outside when the weather's nice.

Nice location, booked a room with breakfast. Unfortunately, we arrived on the day the hotel closed, so we didn't get to use the terrace. The room was good, modern, and, we were lucky, with a water view. Unfortunately, the landlord was also tight-lipped, and we felt a bit superfluous. The breakfast was meager and not worth the price.

Great restaurant. The staff is excellent and friendly. The view of the Havel River is fantastic. Comfortable chairs. I'd definitely go back. It's very popular.

We were invited to a celebration at the restaurant and had booked a room (in the neighboring building) with breakfast included. A very nice, small room with a bathroom. Everything was newly renovated and clean. A very large balcony. Everything was quiet. Breakfast (in the restaurant) was served at a set table; it was very pleasant, plentiful, and appealing. The service team, mostly young people, was unfortunately a bit uncoordinated, but attentive, friendly, and helpful. I would book or eat there again anytime.

We had nothing to complain about.

Price-performance ratio isn't right. 5 thin asparagus stalks with 4 potatoes for €18. Solyanka without lemon and sour cream is a no-go. Hollandais sauce has no flavor. Any housewife could make it better.

We stayed in one of the guesthouse's elegantly and tastefully furnished rooms and slept almost better than at home. In addition to the extremely comfortable bed, the skylight in the bathroom was a highlight for us. It allowed us to start the day in a relaxed manner without having a spotlight directly in our faces :p Breakfast was a varied plate breakfast and left nothing to be desired. In the evening, we dined with friends in the restaurant and were completely satisfied. The food was attractively presented and tasted as good as it looked. The schnitzels were outstanding. The service was very attentive and friendly. We felt completely at home and would gladly come back.

On Wednesday, I had a Wiener Schnitzel with fries and a side salad for lunch. I really enjoyed the friendly service and the delicious food, and I'll be happy to go there again.

Despite there being a wedding in the room next door, we received very courteous and friendly service. The salmon we sorted wasn't completely cooked through. This can happen, no question about it! The number of times we apologized showed us how important each guest is. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a children's portion. Completely sufficient for me and at an extremely reasonable price.

I would like to advise schnitzel lovers not to go to this restaurant because the schnitzel was fried to death, the breading was not as if it had been tacked on, but the fact that a master's letter was posted gave me the feeling that this master was sick and the assistant prepared the schnitzel. The service for a large group is poorly organized because drinks and food could not be served at the same time. However, the ambience is very nice.

We had a birthday party organized. Everything was to our satisfaction, the food, the setting, especially nice service. Everything was very loving. Our guests and we felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful time and the price was really pleasant, surprisingly good. Perfect!!!!!!!

For me it's a "must have" when I'm in Rathenow! The restaurant, lovingly renovated and designed, has a really great outdoor terrace. The service is excellent and the staff put in an extraordinary amount of effort. I think the food is sensational - it's varied and really well prepared. The different schnitzels are worth highlighting here - I have probably never had such a good schnitzel - simply perfect!

Service was OK, not unfriendly but not noticeably good either. We were there with a group and had also ordered the food in advance. Liver "Alt Berliner Style" with apple rings and onion rings. It had been a long time since I had eaten and I was really looking forward to it and then it was a simple sliced ​​liver with gravy. No apples and no onions. The restaurant and terrace are great. Our order was taken quickly and the first drinks didn't take long to arrive. I had the salad with chicken strips. When it arrived I was disappointed. Basically just getting the cheapest salad you can buy. Iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks and some leaf lettuce. Quite unspectacularly done too. Too bad. The dressing was tasty and so was the chicken. My conclusion: With a change in the salad selection, the presentation and a few nice little additions (e.g. pomegranate seeds, nuts, feta, etc.) it would be much better Impression is created and the price is also justified. A similar picture occurred with the other meals that were served. A few small changes here and there and there would be nothing to complain about.

Everything great! Only the waitress doesn't notice when the glasses are empty. My wife orders water and I'm not asked if I want anything else (happened twice). When asked whether you could pay with an EC card, you answered yes, inside the restaurant. Strangely enough, the table next door was also on the terrace. Otherwise everything 👍

Our pizzas were actually quite good but the garlic was missing and a bit more spice too, everything else was very nice, the terrace by the river was romantic, the staff was nice!

Very good service. People who want it! This is becoming increasingly rare in service, unfortunately. A lot of food for a very good price. I would increase the prices by another 10%. So ein schlechtes Essen hatte ich noch nie und dann wird man am Telefon, um das bekannt zu geben, wenn man die ganze Nacht auf dem WC verbringt, mehr als nur beschimpft, alles unter der Gürtellinie, einfach nur Böse, wir werden hier nicht mehr erscheinen!!

Essen war super. Karte ist klein aber fein. Selten so gutes Schnitzel gegessen. Der Service ist spitze. Das Ambiente ist passend. Mir gefällt es.

Also tut mir leid wenn ich es so sagen muss aber mit hat das Essen nicht geschmeckt aber dennoch gebe ich 2sterne

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen im Restaurant. Habe mir Leber für 14,...Euro bestellt.Service war sehr nett.Das Essen war nur lauwarm und die Leber konnte ich unter der Zwiebelmasse suchen. Es waren keine Scheiben, sondern nur kleine Fetzen von der Leber. Gefühlt nicht mal eine Scheibe Leber. Auch das Püree war so trocken, dass es auseinander gefallen ist. Die Salatbeigabe war in Ordnung, der war frisch.

Dies ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant, wo man sehr gut essen kann die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Aussicht beim Essen ist auch hervorragend. Immer wieder gerne.

Ein Geheimtipp für gute Gastfreundlichkeit,sehr gutes Essen,kompetentes Personal,auch ohne Reservierung gibt es immer noch einen gemütlichen Platz,reichlich Parkplatz ist vorhanden,mit Blick auf die Havel,reiche Vielfalt an Essen,alles ebenerdig, dafür gebe ich vier Sterne

Ein Restaurant das man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Leckere Speisen frisch zubereitet und optisch einfach super. Terrasse und Innenraum gemütlich, Preise und Getränke zu fairen Preisen. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe. Schöner Ausblick auf den Seitenarm der Havel. Das Restaurant ist auch für Wassersportler gut zu erreichen ( Kajakfahrer).

Tolles Restaurant in bester Lage , direkt an der Havel. Wir haben unser Klassentreffen der 10 C der Hans Beimler Schule nach 40 Jahren am 3.Juni 2023 hier gefeiert.Wir hatten einen tollen Platz auf der Terrasse bei herrlichem Sonnenschein. Der Service war sehr gut, alle Mitarbeiter mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war top. Es war ein rundum gelungenes Treffen. Die weite Anreise von Wuppertal hat sich für dieses Treffen gelohnt. Dankeschön.

Sehr freundliches Personal gerne wieder

Schönes und gepflegtes Ambiente mit freundlicher und zuvorkommender Bedienung. Die bestellten Speisen wurden sehr schön angerichtet serviert, wobei alle Sonderwünsche berücksichtigt wurden. Der Küchenchef versteht sein Handwerk weshalb ich sehr gerne wiederkommen werde.

Hier wollte man uns nur auf der Terrasse bedienen, was uns aber zu kühl war. Mit der Begründung, im Restaurant bedienen wir nicht, wünsche noch einen schönen Abend. Eine Frechheit!!

Das Essen war eine absolute Katastrophe. Ich habe Spargel & Schnitzel für 19 € bestellt. Der Spargel war noch roh und das Schnitzel triefte vor Fett. Der gleiche Teller kam dann 5 Minuten später nochmal - etwas aufgewärmt in der Mikrowelle. Dazu noch eine unfreundliche Schüler-Kellnerin. Es gibt definitiv bessere Restaurants in Rathenow.
