Quaint restaurant, just like it used to be. Delicious inexpensive food

If you're curious about original German food, it might be a good place to visit. It's a little greasy, but it suits my taste. The sauerkraut is a work of art. The staff is friendly, but they say they don't accept credit cards and ask for cash. They say they don't have cash, so go ahead and get it... But they say they don't have it, so they'll add 10% VAT to the bill. ? That's racism right haha.

The food is extremely good and obviously homemade. the service attentive. The decor is a bit quaint.

We visit Frankfurt often & this is the best German (traditional) meal I've ever had! We will be visiting again next time we are in Frankfurt. I don't think I've ever eaten potato knödels as good as the ones here.

Food was delicious except for the Kösse, I know Semmel Kösse a little differently. Otherwise very satisfied.

We were there with several people. Food, there was a nice atmosphere especially in the terrace area, very cozy and we had a lovely evening. Food was ok, price performance in a good ratio. Service was nice and friendly, we were welcomed and no one had to evaporate.

After we were seated we waited over 15 minutes and didn't even have a menu. One of us went to ask an employee about it and was handed the menus. The menus were completely out of date: dirty and damaged. Full of spelling and formal errors, it felt more like a cheap tourist restaurant somewhere in southern Europe. There were two parts of the menu, part 1 said that credit cards were not accepted, and the other part said that credit card payments had a 10% surcharge. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion. We asked a waiter for a drink menu, he let us know that there was no such thing. We asked what juices were available - in fact there was only apple juice. My cordon bleu was probably homemade, which I could tell because there was a hair baked into the cheese. Industrial goods usually don't have anything like that... Apart from that, the meat was dry and the cheese was tasteless. There were also fries and individually packaged ketchup, the best before date of which corresponded to the date of the visit. We ate our meal on plastic lawn chairs and Poco seat cushions. In my opinion, this has nothing to do with reasonable gastronomy, which I expect given the prices that the Bauernschänke charges. When we paid, we were then asked in disbelief whether the four of us had really only had four drinks, that was unusual. It should be noted that no one came to the table who could have taken a repeat order.

Quaint with a toilet in the yard...

The food was solid, there were chanterelles in season, which increased the price of the main course a bit. The service was nice and we were able to pay separately without any problem. Unfortunately, you can hear the street in the courtyard quite loudly. The toilets are also in the courtyard and the doors squeak so you can always tell when they are being used.

Food could be better, ambience is a bit outdated. I can do more with it, the service had everything in mind, I was impressed by my opinion

A small, quaint restaurant with classic rooms and a very nice courtyard. The cuisine is home-style German/Bohemian home cooking. Definitely worth a detour.

Rustic traditional guest towns! Very cozy and fresh daily meals. I will probably never forget the sensational liver and blood sausage!! It's a shame that vegetarian dishes are hard to find.

Wonderfully traditionally decorated and delicious food. So no website and you can pay in cash. But the food and atmosphere are definitely worth a visit.

We discovered this quaint restaurant in the Oberdorf. It's been a long time since I've eaten such delicious Szeged goulash with original Bohemian dumplings. Plus the wild garden and the friendly staff; we will be back.

It always feels like we're chronically understaffed, once we waited 30 minutes for a waitress to come to us... a female waitress who was probably new = she just walked past us as if she didn't see us! Ok in the end we found out she was the only waitress and had only been there for the second day. That must not be! Last time, after a long wait, we just went home speechless :/ So the food is really great, but the service is unfortunately subpar LG I hope it will happen again

Nice courtyard. Food was very good, but unfortunately one meal was taken incorrectly, which then led to delays. The floor in the yard is very rustic, so the chairs can wobble.

Totally recommended for anyone who wants authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is rustic and you feel like you have traveled to Prague in a time capsule. The service is very pleasant in combination with a unique meal. It was our first time in the Bauernschänke, but I'm sure it won't be the last time. Thank you for this experience!

Great cozy restaurant with very good food

The Frankfurter Schnitzel was good. Unfortunately the fries were too hard. The service was great.

Was really disappointed for the first time. I used to eat there often. Now again after a long break. Price performance no longer fits. It feels like it's twice as expensive and the portion has been halved at the same time. Very unfortunate. But unfortunately that was the last time for me for now.

We had dinner there today and had the beef goulash with the Bohemian dumplings and a liver dumpling soup as a starter. I have to say that everything tasted good, except that raw onions don't go well with the goulash at all, the portions aren't particularly large, the 5 goulash chunks were soft but had a lot of fat on them and the 3 slices of dumplings were very dry despite having enough sauce. Conclusion...I don't really need to go there again 👎🏻

You can eat really well here, the portions are very generous, the service is top - attentive and very polite. You have to like the ambience, I like the feeling of sitting in an old "farmer's tavern".

Super nice service. The dumplings could have been a little juicier and fluffier and the goulash a little heartier. Krusovice beer: great. The guest room needs a fresh coat of paint. You can't go wrong eating there, but there is room for improvement.

Unfortunately, extremely poorly ventilated - cooking fumes everywhere! Unfortunately, international gastro hygiene standards are not really followed. The waitress behind the counter blatantly removed leftover food from between her teeth with her bare fingers, the chef's trousers were halfway down his back... All in all, not appetizing - you could euphemistically describe it as a "family-homely atmosphere".

Great atmosphere, clean and owner very friendly. This is mostly comfort food but served with a light salad to start with which I really appreciated. The main was heavy but delicious. Unfortunately I couldn't finish everything but would happily go back here.

I went twice and I confirm, the food and beer it's very delicious!

The restaurant is beautifully rustic. Unfortunately, the food is very lightly seasoned (goulash shouldn't taste like nothing) and the service is a bit unfriendly. If the guest leaves cutlery on their plate, please clear the plate and bring new cutlery. Asking the customer to take their dirty starter dishes back from the cleared plate is simply unkind.

Lumberjack steak of moderate quality. The announced fried onions were also only steamed.

The Bauernschänke was recommended by a colleague. No credit cards are accepted here, only EC cards and of course cash. There is good home-style food here, which I really enjoyed and, as you could hear, so did my neighbor at the table. The black beer was also very good and was poured generously. Overall, the restaurant wasn't very full, but the ambience could have put a little more effort into it. Nevertheless, it is an absolute recommendation because you can eat very well here relatively cheaply.

Nicht schön eingerichtet , aber irgendwie cool . Das Essen ist extrem lecker . Die böhmischen Knödel haben mich schon gesättigt, da habe ich die unglaublich lecker ausschauenden Pfannkuchen nicht mehr geschafft. Ich komme wieder !

Hier hatten wir leckere böhmische Spezialitäten wie Prager Schweinebraten mit Sauerkraut und böhmischen Semmelknödeln und ausgezeichneten Rinderrahmbraten Svickova. Das Ambiente ist mit mehreren Stuben in einem alten Fachwerkhaus sehr heimelig und gemütlich. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam und es gibt gutes tschechisches Pils. Da muss man ja wiederkommen.

Wir waren im oberen Saal zwecks Versammlung. Ich habe nichts gegessen, deswegen möchte ich es auch nicht bewerten. Aber bei Besuchen im Sommer war es lecker. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Ich mag sie gerne. Preise sind guter Durchschnitt. Der Saal könnte eine Renovierung vertragen.

Das Manko war das Essen. Das Fleisch war sehr durchwachsen. Ansonsten schönes Lokal mit nettem Ambiente

Schade das man nur fertige Panade und im alten Fett rausgebratene Schnitzel bekommt.Die Jägersoße könnte man auch besser machen,die Gummiknödel zum Gulasch eine Endtäuschung.Das kann man nur essen,wenn man selber nicht kochen kann,dann kennt man es nicht besser.Schade fürs Geld.

Abgewracktes Ambiente - eine Zeitreise in die 70er. Kellner saß die meiste Zeit draußen und rauchte und spielte auf dem Handy. Essen schlecht, der Salat insbesondere. Umbestellungen der Beilagen kosten Aufpreis. Garten total unübersichtlich - der Weg zum Uralt-Klo draussen im Dunkeln unbeleuchtet.

Spontan angerufen, Tisch bekommen, freundlich beraten und bedient worden, geschmacklich außerordentlich gut gegessen (Bestes Gulasch!! ), etwas rustikale Einrichtung, in allem super zufrieden :)

Tolles Essen (Haspel mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffelstampf)

Dass Essen dort ist lecker und es sind große Portionen. In Relation dazu sind die Preise gemäßigt. Das Ambiente ist in etwa das eines älteren bürgerlich-deutschen Gasthauses, auch betreffend der Einrichtung. Es ist kein Designer-Restaurant. Es ist sauber, aber nicht besonders hergerichtet - dann wäre das Essen dort vermutlich auch deutlich teurer. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Es gibt einen schön bepflanzten Außenbereich.

Pflanzen reicher Biergarten, wer deftige Küche liebt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die böhmischen Speisen schmecken wie in Tschechien 😋🍺

Es kommt zu vielen Missverständnissen, weil das Personal nicht gut Deutsch kann. Es gibt keine englischsprachige Speisekarte. Das Ambiente im Obergeschoss ist sehr alt traditionell. Das Essen ist aber erstaunlich gut und die Portionen sind groß.

Sehr schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, wir waren mit 10 Kollegen hier essen. Böhmische Küche, leckeres Bier...sehr gut.

Wer die böhmische Küche mag, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Knödel, braten und Sauce - als wäre man in Prag in einem kleinen hausmännischen Lokal. Überragender Germknödel!!!! Service ist etwas hemdsärmelig und Aufmerksamkeit könnte etwas besser sein. Darüber hinaus aber sehr sehr herzlich und freundlich.

Deze mensen beweren dat een buitenlandse betaalkaart hier niet werkt en sturen je naar een bank om je vervolgens wijs te maken dat je 141 euro contant moet betalen terwijl dat 114 euro moet zijn. Dat voelt niet fijn. Tegelijkertijd is het eten middelmaat met slechte stoelen en geen parkeerplaatsen. Voor ons echt geen 4,3 sterren waard, niet meer dan Max 2.

Im Garten ist es immer wieder schön. Der Service ist hervorragend.

Sehr gutes Essen. Traditionell und selbstgemacht. Das Schnitzel und Rindergulasch sind weltklasse aber generell alles sehr lecker. Bedienung nett und höflich. Manchmal dauert es bis man seine Bestelleung bekommt aber weil es viel los ist und nur 2 Kellner bedienen. Die Terasse im innenhof ist sehr schön mit den ganzen Pflanzen aber der Boden ist ungerade und stört beim Sitzen. Die Stühle sind unbequem aber dafür kann man auch drinnen oder vor der Eingangstür sitzen, da sind die Stühle viel bequemer. Schade, dass sie den Innenhof nicht renovieren aber trotzdem sehr gutes Lokal. Für mich das Beste, was es in Eschborn gibt.

Das Essen war großartig!! Die Betreung reizend , zuvorkommend und fix. Jederzeit wieder, ob im Garten oder drinnen.. gutes Essen genießen. Danke!!!

Das Essen ist für die nicht so berauschende Qualität viel zu teuer.

Hier finden sich Pflanzen im Garten, nicht auf dem Teller. Veganer werden hier definitiv nicht glücklich, alle Mischköstler und auch Vegetarier dafür aber alle Male. Bei warmen Wetter auf jeden Fall in den Garten zu den schönen Pflanzen und vielleicht auch dem kleinen Kätzchen setzen.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet! - Zwei Sterne Abzug für die €2, die für die Umbestellung von Pommes auf Bratkartoffeln berechnet werden! Eigentlich ein Grund nicht mehr dort zu essen!

Die Ausstattung ist etwas altbacken, aber ich habe ein ganz tolles Schnitzel mit grüner Soße gegessen! Hatte ich gar nicht so erwartet! Wir waren 11 Personen und haben zusammen essen können! Wirklich zu empfehlen 👍👍👍 Unbedingt das Schnitzel probieren 🥹
