Upon request, we were even served something vegan, rice with vegetables. There were several more mushrooms, it's just a shame that not everyone likes mushrooms. The vegetables were frozen cauliflower and frozen carrots. (There was no sauce with it either.) Unfortunately we weren't full, it was more like pensioner portions. Even though we had dessert (lemon sorbet, it was a mini ball with a! raspberry) on it. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The service was nice. We didn't have a nice room, the toilets were very chic and nicely decorated. Our dog was allowed in, even though there was a sign in front saying "we have to stay outside".

Great food and courteous service. The insider tip is the homemade spaghetti ice cream. A real highlight; nothing more will be revealed 🤐. Really highly recommended!

Friday June 28th, 2024, at 2:45 p.m. I stopped at the Forsthaus Rheinblick for a quick lunch. There were 8 guests present. Literally: “Have you reserved”??? Uh, no, I didn't! Sorry, it's empty here! “Sorry, everything (the empty terrace and the empty restaurant) is reserved.” After a very nice welcome and a very good meal at the *Weinhaus Sinz*, I drove past again on the way back. There wasn't a soul here. Since this has now happened to me for the third time, that the guest is not welcome here and the service is simply *not in the mood*, I will no longer return to the Forsthaus Rheinblick. This is certainly due to the fact that the management leaves the management to some unqualified staff. Suggestion: Simply close between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., then your staff will have more time to structure themselves. Anyone who is satisfied with home-style food, sometimes made from pressed ready-made products and spaghetti ice cream with ready-made sauce and coated brittle from the wholesaler, should take a seat here. I will no longer book my celebrations here, the Forsthaus Rheinblick is obsolete for me, it does not meet my requirements. There are far better and better-run restaurants in the surrounding area.  Management should be careful not to have a rude awakening a second time. Zero stars.

Nice atmosphere at the gates of Wiesbaden. Were invited there for a birthday. The highlight was the lemon spritz. Food good but a little more expensive.

Absolutely top level, if you want to experience gastronomy like it is in a picture book, you have to visit the Forsthaus Rheinblick! Friendly, precise service: finally a restaurant that doesn't greet you with "have you made a reservation", but understands service and gastronomy and "great that you are" creates a warm welcome and atmosphere. Great. Likewise the food: presentation and quality, selection and composition. A highlight in terms of craftsmanship. Great guest room!

Good middle-class ???? - If not here, where else? If you think that the expression "good middle-class" would indicate a mediocre but acceptable meal, then you should treat yourself to the Forsthaus Rheinblick. “Good middle-class” is taken to a completely new level here. This has more of a star character! The raves about these dishes just don't stop. What the kitchen conjures up for guests here is fantastic. All the dishes we ate with 4 people were a pure experience. The service was more than top and the guest still feels valued here. Attentive service staff from the first to the last minute. Always a smile on your lips, The ambience, absolutely great. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel that the management of this great forestry house is not left to chance. A little "insider".... definitely try the "spaghetti ice cream" as dessert, which is prepared directly at the table, of course with homemade cream ice cream... a dream - and the preparation at the table is simply great. This restaurant / forester's lodge is more than worth a recommendation...... Disappointment? - Excluded!!! Feel free to try it. It's best to reserve a table in advance. We'll be back - guaranteed 😉👍. Big praise to the entire team at Forsthaus Rheinblick.

The occasion was sad, but a visit to this wonderful restaurant changed your mind, as everything was a pure pleasure for the senses. With great attention to detail, after climbing the stairs to the "Temple of Pleasure", the guest is led into the tastefully furnished rooms, and there is immediately a very homely atmosphere, which is also thanks to the extremely friendly service staff. As soon as you order the drinks you can feel the professionalism of the staff. The drinks are delivered promptly and the menu offers a variety of wonderful dishes so that everyone gets their money's worth. For vegetarians, for example, there are home-made spinach dumplings, game fans are also catered for, and fish lovers can also look forward to a trout Müllerin style. I chose an asparagus soup with salmon praline as a starter... and the venison sausage in red wine sauce. I'll get to dessert later. I really have to say that in both cases my expectations of a good meal were completely exceeded. The asparagus soup was wonderfully seasoned, and the salmon praline, which you can optionally order, lived up to its name. What an incredibly good start that the main course managed to top. Such tender deer meat, accompanied by a creamy savoy cabbage slightly enriched with bacon, and last but not least the homemade napkin dumplings made this dish a culinary experience, which was also thanks to the wonderful red wine sauce that spread wonderfully creamy over the meat. I am a connoisseur, but I am often disappointed by restaurants that others rate as very good. But here everything was just right. The venison was so tender that it melted in my mouth, and the sauce was so spicy that I didn't want to leave any of it on my plate. Really big compliments to the kitchen!!! As already announced, I'm now coming to dessert. Here you can choose from a wide variety of desserts. After a lot of thinking, I decided on the homemade chocolate mousse with berries and eggnog. As soon as I pricked it with the spoon for the first time, I knew I had made a very good choice. The mousse was incredibly good, creamy, just as it should be, and the eggnog, which was served freely in a small ceramic jug, was a "poesia italiana" in itself. You can literally see in the photos how much I enjoyed everything. By the way, all the other guests at the table were also completely thrilled. A restaurant like this is really hard to find these days. How good that there is this forester's lodge at the gates of Wiesbaden. Thanks again to the service for the extremely warm hospitality... and I'll be sure very soon.

Wir waren mit 16 Personen im Rahmen einer Feierlichkeit vor Ort. Schönes Ambiente, sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Angebot und die Speisen sind geschmacklich überzeugend, es gibt große Portionen und jede(r) wird satt. Tipp: als Nachspeise Spaghetti-Eis bestellen. Dieses wird direkt am Tisch zubereitet und ist sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist eine klare Empfehlung. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Beautiful ambience paired with excellent service. Good drinks menu and the wines are served at a reasonable temperature. The table culture is well demonstrated here, always clean tablecloths and servings etc. The menu offers tasty classics, Königsberger Klopse, Jägerschnitzel and seasonal dishes. Always delicious.

We had a wonderful evening with very tasty food and actually very good service, super friendly. We just had the feeling that we couldn't agree on who was looking after the table because it felt like every 15 minutes a different service person came to the table and asked what we wanted. But that's "complaining" at a high level

Everything was perfect. The only thing that bothered me was that it says outside that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and yet there were 2 dogs in the restaurant.

I can only agree with the positive reviews. We were at the Forsthaus with 12 people in October 2023 on the occasion of our birthday and received excellent and attentive service. All dishes were served at the same time and hot; the service was very courteous and nice; always happy and definitely recommended!!!!

Overpriced with mediocre quality at best. I ate a Jäger style schnitzel with fried potatoes and a small side salad. Cost 22 euros. The side salad was okay, although I've eaten much better ones. The schnitzels themselves were nothing special, pretty dry and covered with a cheap breading that fell right off the meat and didn't taste like anything. But the absolute highlight were the fried potatoes, which were not at all crispy, but watery, glassy and bland. Bah. The waitress in a dirndl (I didn't understand what that meant) screamed loudly into our board meeting every time she brought drinks. I found this extremely disturbing and unprofessional. With such high prices, I expect significantly better quality of food and can also expect more tact from the service.

Originally enjoyed eating here. Apparently, however, the percentage calculation fails. Price increases of over 30% in some cases and therefore prices are no longer justified. With the reactivation of NORMAL VAT of 19%, a lot would be added everywhere and the opportunity would be “taken advantage of”. Inflation has fallen. Energy prices have fallen and prices are normalizing. However, the quality has not improved. Why it's being hit AGAIN now borders on greed to me. Luckily, there are hundreds of alternatives in the area.

Wegen der Weihnachtszeit haben wir schon lange vorher reserviert. Am Abend ist das Restaurant gut besetzt. Trotzdem scheinen die Servicekräfte immer zu lächeln und geben wirklich ihr Bestes. Die Speisekarte bietet etwas für jeden. Vermisst habe ich mehr regionale und nachhaltig produzierte Produkte. Warum z.B. Paprikastreifen im Winter im Salat?! Die Portionen sind wirklich groß. Da sollte jeder wirklich satt werden. Die Räumlichkeiten sind geschmackvoll hergerichtet. Vor dem Gebäude gibt es Parkplätze, die ziemlich eng und am Abend sehr dunkel sind.

Seit jeher ein zuverlässiger Ort für herzlichen Service und eine großartige Küche.

Es ist und bleibt eines der besten Restaurants in Wiesbaden. Ein tolles Essen, perfekter Service und eine gediegene Atmosphäre im positiven Sinne. Immer wieder gerne!!

Wow, welch einen Abend durften wir im Rheinblick erleben...Gänseessen im Forsthaus.... so eine gute und zarte Gans hatte ich selten gegessen..dazu ein feines Rotkraut mit leichten Zimt/Nelkenaroma, tolle hausgemachte Knödel und als Highlight ein Bratapfel mit feiner Marzipanfüllung. Die Gans wurde an unserem Tisch fachmännisch von Marvin tranchiert...eher zelebriert. Natürlich davor ein lieber "Gruss aus der Küche "...den Abschluss bildete das am Tisch zubereitete Spaghettieis. Begleitet wurde das Gänseessen vom Spätburgunder aus Erbach( beste Empfehlung von Sebastian). An der Stelle auch vielen Dank an Marvin und Sebastian, die uns den gesamten Abend bestens betreuten. Im Rheinblick isst man auf höchstem Niveau....besser geht nicht!

Ich war am 24.10.2023 nach einer Trauerfeier hier!! Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, wir saßen in einem separaten Raum!! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und unsre Getränke und Speisen wurden sehr schnell gebracht!! Der Service lies keine Wünsche offen!! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!! Herr Schulze, tolles Team, herzlichen Dank! Da dies eine Trauerfeier war, habe ich natürlich keine Fotos des Essens, etc gemacht!!

Eher ein Zufallsfund... aber ein wirklich Empfehlenswerter, welchen man sich merken sollte... nein, muss. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, das Haus war voll und dennoch hat man für uns eine Lösung gefunden. Der Service (alle Anwesenden) war sehr zuvorkommend, angenehm, freundlich und lustig. - Wir haben uns gut betreut gefühlt. Die Speisen waren wirklich sehr gut und die Preise waren mehr als angemessen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Abend. Danke an solche Gastronomen.

Wir waren spontan mit Freunden, recht spät am Abend vorbei gekommen und hatten schon befürchtet, dass die Küche bereits zu sei. Leider war dies auch der Fall, doch das Personal hatte Mitleid mit unseren hungrigen Mägen und stellte uns ad hoc eine grandiose Brotzeit als Alternative zusammen. Das Personal war super freundlich und total herzlich, so dass man sich fühlte, als wäre man bei Freunden zu Besuch. Ein so sehr auf den Gast ausgerichtetes Restaurant habe ich lange nicht mehr erlebt. Als Krönung durften wir auf Nachfrage im Außenbereich in einem beheizten Pavillon sitzen, was urgemütlich und kuschelig war. Wir sind begeistert und kommen bald wieder, dann aber wenn auch die Küche noch auf ist :)

Also ich habe das Gefühl, dass sich diese Dame eher in der einfachen Gastronomie wohl fühlt. Wenn man die von Ihr abgegebenen zahlreichen Bewertungen anschaut, verkehrt sie wohl eher in Schnellrestaurants. Ich habe gerade am Freitag ein Wiener Schnitzel im Forsthaus gegessen und das war definitiv nicht in der Fritteuse sondern in der Pfanne gebraten und es war halt ein „ Wiener Schnitzel „ somit handelte es sich auch um Kalbfleisch. Der Service war trotz enormer Hitze einfach nur klasse.

Es hätte so gut ausgehen können!Tolle Lage,netter Service,gute Rheingau er Weine,und dann kamen die Schnitzel ,die trotz leckerer Sauce aussahen wie fast überall.Nicht selbst paniert sondern Fertigware,die nur noch in die Fritteuse geworfen werden muss. Vielleicht sind die anderen Gerichte besser.Ich glaube ,ich werde es nicht erfahren.

Zu diesem wirklichen gemütlichen Forsthaus sind wir zufällig dank TripAdvisor gestoßen, nachdem wir an einem Freitag Nachmittag um 15Uhr warme Küche * gesucht haben. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, sehr schöne Lage, wir wurden freundlich empfangen, das Essen war super, meine Kids und ich waren glücklich. Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Gerichte vom normalen Menü (kein typisches Kindermenü), es war alles lecker. Es war wie gesagt ein spontaner Besuch an einem Nachmittag aber ich würde es gerne auch mal an einem Abend in größerem Ausmaß ausprobieren 👍🏻 *nahe Schloss Freudenberg

🌳 Urig, waldnah, historisch modern. Sehr gepflegt und doch traditionell kommt diese Ausflugsgastronomie daher. Eine schöne Terrasse, rustikal gehobene Einrichtung und ein findig motivierter Gastgeber machen das Forsthaus Rheinblick seit Jahren zur Institution. 🍺 Die Karte offenbart Speisen aus der Region, nichts exotisches, aber doch auch mal mit Linsen zur Bratwurst. Die Portionen sind üppig, die Speisenfolge trotz guter Belegung rasch. Alles in allem die perfekte Lokalität um Oma und Opa ü65 mal schön auszuführen. 🥩 Warnung vor dem Stielkotelett! Das war riesig, bestand zu 60% aus Fett und war nur auf einer Seite knusprig paniert - die andere war matschig blond. Ich weiß, das an Schweinefleisch Fett gehört, aber das war zu viel des Guten. 🍲 Wiesenkräutersüppchen und Jägerschnitzel waren gut, die Pommes hätten knuspriger sein können. ♥️ Wirklich lieb war die Minivorspeise, damit Gast 1 dem Gast 2 nicht beim Essen zuschauen musste.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal wieder mit Freunden aus und haben das Forsthaus Rheinblick empfohlen. Wir hatten es bis dato immer in guter Erinnerung, von den Weinen abgesehen 🤓. Gestern war es leider eine große Enttäuschung. Die Lage super, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Fad und einfallslos. Es fehlten einfach jegliche Gewürze, sowohl am Spargelsalat wie auch am Schnitzel. Das war schon viel viel besser. Was ist passiert? Die 🌟 für Restaurant für jeden Tag kann ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht nachvollziehen. Bitte bald wieder besser. Danke. Dann kommen wir gern wieder.

Ich war am 1.2.2020 mit ca. 40 Gästen zu meiner Geburtstagsfeier im Forsthaus. Schon die Planung und Vorbereitung machten einen sehr professionellen Eindruck.Wir wurden in einem separaten Raum bewirtet.Es gab weder zum Service noch zu den Speisen (Menü) irgendetwas zu bemängeln.Ganz im Gegentteil, es war einfach rundum perfekt. Fazit: ich hätte keine bessere Entscheidung treffen können als die für das Forsthaus, Sehr empfehlenswert.

FAZIT: Leckeres Essen in einem angenehmen Ambiente mit guter verkehrstechnischer Anbindung. Das passt - da kann man die eigene Küche schon mal kalt lassen. Lage/Ambiente: Das Forsthaus liegt am Rande des Wiesbadener Stadtteils Dotzheim - und ganz früher hat man von seinem Standort aus auch sicher mal den Rhein erblicken können. Inzwischen sind die Bäume aber etwas größer geworden und der Rhein lässt sich nur noch erahnen. Das Restaurant ist gut mit dem Auto (Parkplätze auf eigenem Parkplatz vor der Tür) und dem Bus (Linien 24, 39, 47) erreichbar. Drinnen ist es urig, alles rustikal gehalten, mit viel Holz, einfach schön zum Sitzen. Neben dem Hauptraum mit Tresen gibt es noch einen größeren Gastraum für geschlossene Gesellschaften sowie das Försterstübchen für 10-12 Personen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, daher gibts 4 von 5 Punkte. Service: Wir wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen (gut, dass wir reserviert haben...) und bekamen als Empfehlung das Tagesgericht (Kabeljau) genannt. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich - die leeren Teller hätten etwas schneller abgeräumt werden können. Das ist aber kein Beinbruch. 4 von 5 Punkte Essen: Das 3-Gänge Menü hörte sich so verlockend an, dass wir es dann auch bestellt haben. Sehr schnell bekamen wir unsere Getränke und auch die Vorneweg-Kartoffelsuppe wurde kurz darauf serviert (sehr lecker). Es folgte der gebratene Kabeljau mit Kartoffelsalat. bei dem hatte ich erst die befürchtung, dass es die schwere Majonaise-Ausführung ist (nach dem ersten Hinsehen). Doch das erwieß sich als völlig falsch. Er war locker leicht, lecker abgeschmeckt und hatte so rein gar nichts von der "das-liegt-wie-ein-Stein-im-Magen"-Variante. Der Kabeljau war saftig, hatte eine leckere Panade und auch die Remoulade passte prima dazu. Als kleines Dessert gab es eine Schokoladen-Pudding mit Sahne (schön fluffig gelungen). Rundherum ein superleckeres Mittags-Menü. Gibt für diese Essen 5 von 5 Punkte Preis-Leistung: Das 3-Gänge-Mittags-Menü an diesem Tag für 14,50 Euro empfanden wir als günstig. Andere Gerichte, wie z.B. das Rumpsteak für 25 Euro, halte ich preislich eher für grenzwertig. Insgesamt sind die Preise da schon etwas gehobener. Gibt für mich in Summe 4 von 5 Punkte

Gestern bei unsrer Weihnachtsfeier mit 12 Leuten: Ambiente:1, Vorspeise:1, Hauptgericht:2, Dessert:1, Wein:1, Kinderfreundlichkeit:1, Preis/Leistung:3, Servicepersonal:3-4. Eine Bedienung war bei der Weinbestellung über das Sortiment falsch informiert und abkanzelnt und arrogant, ihre Kollegin stellenweise etwas überfordert und unstrukturiert.

Die Lage in Nähe eines renommierten Golfplatzes lässt eine anspruchsvolle Küche erwarten. Die Speisekarte war bürgerlich. Die Speisen wurden lauwarm und lieblos angerichtet serviert. Der Tafelspitz klassisch mit einer Meerrettichsauce die ihren Namen nicht verdient. Lobenswert die Wildsülze mit Bratkartoffeln. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service lobenswert. Reservierung empfohlen.

Forsthaus Rheinblick is a quaint restaurant serving German specialties as well as wild game. Their deer entre is my favorite. Served in a wine and berry sauce, it is my highest recommendation from their menu. The pfefferlingen dish is also very good. Additionally, Forsthaus Rheinblick has excellent service. The traditional dress of their waiters and waitresses add to the ambiance, as does their friendliness, a rare find for Americans living in Wiesbaden! Yesterday, they made an extra effort for my brother's birthday meal, bringing him a piece of cake, and even a card hand-signed by the staff. My family and friends offer their sincere thanks for all of the efforts that made this day so special!

Besuch anlässlich einer Familienfeier. Sehr netter Empfang und freundlicher Service. Auf der Karte deutsche Klassiker wie Königsberger Klopse und Rouladen, so dass jeder was findet, auch Oma. Alles was an den Tisch kam war gut und alle zufrieden. Tipp. Die Auswahl für Vegetarier könnte größer und fantasievoller sein. Alles in allem aber ein gelungener Abend.

We tasted several dishes in a group of 12 before christmas time. All guests were really satisfied. Some food is special e.g. the chop. Looks really special, but is not full of meat. The venison taste well. Not cheap but still OK
