The food was good, very good indeed. The wait time was borderline acceptable. The service was overly friendly, to say the least. It wasn't good value for money; €70 for two people, two dishes, and two drinks. You can definitely find much better options for less.

The food was excellent, and the price was reasonable. The staff is extremely friendly. We were a party of six, four of whom ordered soup as a starter. When the soup arrived, the two people who hadn't ordered a starter each received a small cup of soup. Very thoughtful and considerate. The ambiance is typical of a forest lodge and very pleasant.

The price-performance ratio is disproportionate. Service is very poor. Long waits, drinks brought incorrectly, the bill was incorrect, and the food was ordinary, with prices that were significantly higher. Overall, more show than substance!

A huge multi-story restaurant with an outdoor terrace. It's beautifully appointed and decorated. The staff is attentive and friendly. I expected more from the food. Like any large establishment, with its inherent flaws, the food was barely warm, nothing special. One waiter would start serving, and others would follow. This led to confusion and annoying delays. However, not surprising for such a huge restaurant!

Delicious food, friendly and courteous service Would gladly return Update 2025 September: After becoming almost regulars, dining at least once or twice a month and always being extremely satisfied, we were disappointed for the first time the day before yesterday (Friday, September 12th): We usually eat at the Forsthaus for lunch or dinner (almost always with a reservation, of course). But we also often visit during the afternoon rush hours, as it's open all day and serves hot food all day (which isn't a given). On Friday, around 3:00 PM, we were turned away by the almost empty restaurant staff, who explained that the tables had to be set up for the evening reservations. Incomprehensible, as this has never happened before. We were very disappointed. If you don't want any more guests in the afternoon, you should adjust your opening hours and communicate this. What a shame! We will limit our visits and miss the Forsthaus very much, also because of the great food and the lovely ambiance.

Very tasty food, great service and pleasant ambience + surroundings

It has the atmosphere of a typical forester's lodge. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, both of which offer a very pleasant ambiance. The indoor area is not air-conditioned. A small, enclosed outdoor area is very nice. From the terrace/balcony, the view of the forest and the surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful. The restrooms are exceptionally clean. The service is very attentive and thoughtful. Only small details were overlooked. The food was very tasty and presented in a variety of ways.

We celebrated a birthday with 12 people this weekend. From the reservation to the farewell, everything was—as always—perfect and to our complete satisfaction. We always enjoy coming here and enjoy the attentiveness of the very friendly staff and the chef... ...and, of course, the wonderful food. At the beginning of August, we held a family 80th birthday celebration at the Forsthaus. It was a wonderful party. The Forsthaus Rheinblick was a first-class and professional host. The staff were very friendly, hospitable, and attentive from start to finish. The tables were beautifully set, and the food was a delight. High praise for the host. These days, it's rare to find a restaurant where everything is just right. Keep up the good work! 👍

We had a wonderful evening at the Forsthaus. The service was simply top-notch, very attentive, and, to our amusement, we were delighted that even younger people appreciate the Forsthaus. The food was good; we had the Backhändle (a kind of sausage) and the Forelle (a kind of forage). The ambiance is truly lovely and just right; we'd love to come back.

Last night, I was a guest at the Forsthaus Rheinblick in Wiesbaden with two friends from the Gentleman's Club – and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The ambiance is truly outstanding: stylish, cozy, and with a stunning view that lives up to its name. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional – you feel like you're in good hands right from the start. The culinary experience was also a real highlight: I had a delicious soup for starters, which was wonderfully seasoned. The main course was a veal schnitzel – perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. To finish, we had a classic: spaghetti ice cream – wonderfully nostalgic and just the perfect way to round off the meal. A wonderful evening with excellent food, a great atmosphere, and first-class service. I would love to come back and highly recommend the Forsthaus Rheinblick.

A beautifully located restaurant with comfortable seating both inside and outside. A not overly extensive but extensive menu with delicious dishes, including dishes other than schnitzel. I had a delicious and tasty trout, cooked to perfection.

Gran servicio y deliciosa comida. Tenía el hombro de venado mientras mi esposa tenía el estofado de venado y jabalí. Ambos fueron geniales, pero quizás lo más destacado poco probable fue la col cremosa. El pan es excepcional. Ambos estábamos demasiado llenos para un desierto, pero el café era agradable (especialmente después de que le expliqué a la camarera que una taza de café con crema batida era tradicionalmente alemán). Finalmente hubo una bonita sorpresa ya que era mi cumpleaños. Servicio muy amable y eficiente en un entorno rural precioso en el borde de la ciudad.

Good service, a beautiful ambiance, and a natural location are what make this restaurant stand out for me. However, the high price doesn't seem to match the portion sizes and quality of the food. That's why it loses a point. On weekends, reservations are essential, and be aware that when the restaurant is full, the tables can get quite crowded and noisy.

Yes,. Unfortunately, the occasion for our stop was not very pleasant. After the funeral service they met us there for coffee. All around a very nice inn. The small snack, in the form of cakes and sandwiches, was nicely presented and tasted great. There was actually coffee from a real coffee pot. We will definitely visit the inn again on a nicer occasion.

I was there for a family celebration. A very sophisticated ambiance, lovingly decorated. In addition to the main dining room, there are separate areas for groups or parties. The menu for the celebration offered something for everyone, even vegetarians. The appearance of the dishes matched the quality of the food. My menu ranged from a delicious foam soup to pike-perch fillet with baby lentils to a veal steak in chanterelle sauce. The dessert of chocolate mousse, mango panna cotta, and a small crème brûlée was a fitting conclusion. The service was excellent and attentive. As a self-confessed coffee addict, I can't fail to mention the good, strong coffee. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, otherwise I would go back there soon.

Very rustic and authentic restaurant on the outskirts of Wiesbaden. Surprisingly, there were classic dishes with modern finesse. The venison sausage was excellent. Perfect craftsmanship and delicious. The restaurant has a lot of capacity and events are also possible. The service was excellent and very accommodating. Gladly again - there's still a lot to try.

Wir waren aus Anlass eines Geburtstags seit langem mal wieder hier und waren rundherum zufrieden. Wir waren 5 Personen, jede hat einen anderen Hauptgang bestellt. Ob es das schmackhafte, optisch gut präsentierte und auch in guter Portionsgröße Essen war oder das sehr freundliche, aufmerksame und fachkundige Personal. Alles hat gepasst. Und zum Schluss gab es für die Jubilarin ein schön dekoriertes Stück Kuchen mit einer Kerze und einer Glückwunschkarte die vom gesamten Personal unterschrieben war. Eine sehr persönliche schöne Geste. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

We were here yesterday purely by chance after visiting the Fasanerie in Wiesbaden. We were immediately seated with a small child and were served and looked after really well. We were in the forester's house with the whole family two weeks ago. The young service team is highly motivated, friendly and extremely professional! The restaurant is classic in a positive sense. Everything looks traditional without being dusty or old-fashioned. The boss was always present, kept an eye on everything and preferred to do things himself rather than chase his employees around. That struck me as positive. The interaction among the employees also made it seem like they would enjoy working here. Let's get to dinner... As a trained chef, I have to say that the food was top notch in terms of both taste and craftsmanship! I don't know if I've ever had a better onion roast. The marrow dumpling soup was also first class. Unfortunately I didn't have room for dessert😄 It was an all around lovely experience! We would love to come back🙂

The guest room to the left of the entrance is not well soundproofed for a company. Guests with hearing aids feel very disadvantaged. One of the women's toilets was closed, the water supply was broken at night, so there was only 1 toilet left for a very well-staffed restaurant!!!!

The furnishings meet the expectations of an older forestry lodge, the staff are very nice and attentive to the guest. The food is good, but not so sophisticated that it corresponds to the price quoted.

The seating options inside and outside are very attractive. The food selection is O.K. and of a very good level. All dishes tasted excellent. Here you can eat and drink in style at a high level. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back. A reservation is strongly recommended. An absolute recommendation from us. ATTENTION: Access is difficult for physically impaired people and wheelchair users as there are large stairs to climb.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 reserviert - auf der an sich schönen Terrasse. Er war schön eingedeckt, weiße Tischdecke etc aber als wir ankamen völlig verdreckt von Moos das von den Bäumen viel. An sich kein Problem, das kann der Service ja schnell mal abkehren - aber nein - man geleitet den Gast zum Tisch und macht keinerlei Anstalten einen sauberen Tisch herzustellen . Erst als wir selbst aktiv und schon fast fertig waren kam jemand mit einer Bürste und meinte „damit geht es besser“. Service insgesamt wird leider dem Anspruch des Restaurants nicht gerecht. Auch das Essen, 2 x Roastbeef, 1x Tafelspitz und 1 x Spinatknödel war leider alles nicht in guter Qualität. Sehr schade

Wir waren abermals mit der Familie im Forsthaus essen und es war wieder sehr gelungen. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal in hübscher Garderobe geht hier charmant auf alle Gästewünsche ein. Man hat mir ohne großes Aufhebens eine vegetarische Alternative zusammengestellt, die sehr lecker war. Alle am Tisch waren mit ihrem Essen sehr zufrieden. Ein toller Abend! Einziges Manko: es ist durch die gute Qualität des Speisen und des tollen Services schwer spontan einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Upon request, we were even served something vegan, rice with vegetables. There were several more mushrooms, it's just a shame that not everyone likes mushrooms. The vegetables were frozen cauliflower and frozen carrots. (There was no sauce with it either.) Unfortunately we weren't full, it was more like pensioner portions. Even though we had dessert (lemon sorbet, it was a mini ball with a! raspberry) on it. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The service was nice. We didn't have a nice room, the toilets were very chic and nicely decorated. Our dog was allowed in, even though there was a sign in front saying "we have to stay outside".

Great food and courteous service. The insider tip is the homemade spaghetti ice cream. A real highlight; nothing more will be revealed 🤐. Really highly recommended!
