I've had to go there once on vacation for years. Unfortunately, the portions have shrunk a lot over time, which is a shame. It's delicious, the people are nice, but there's more.

Arrived around 6:30 p.m. and the place was full. We were kindly told that we would have to be patient, but we accepted that. After about 45 minutes a table became available for us. The staff was very nice and competent. Although the meal took a while (which was again nicely pointed out), it tasted very good and was served attractively. Fair prices for good food and a fun menu. The design of the store is also impressive. They refrain from occupying every free square meter with tables, although given the huge rush they would certainly be filled. Instead, you have a moderate area and number of tables and guests who in return receive successful service. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience that makes you happy to give a good rating and a clear recommendation.

Discovered by chance and totally surprised. Very nice restaurant, nice and friendly service. The food is super delicious! Price performance is absolutely fair. We can only speak for ourselves and would be happy to come back when we are nearby. A huge compliment to the team and the owners 👍.

Small but very fine selection of schnitzels, some fish, a few starters and desserts. Very friendly staff, food tastes really good, portions quite large. Delicious in-house spirits to round things off - highly recommended. You definitely have to make a reservation. Very nice atmosphere.

Wir waren zu viert im Schnitzelhus. Eigendleich wollten wir schon am Vortag dort essen, hatten aber nur noch für den Folgeltag einen Tisch bekommen. Sehr gutes Essen und nettes aufmerksames Personal. Rechtzeitig reservieren ist ist ratsam.

We tested the restaurant again after years (after a disappointment). The service was attentive and immediately pointed out waiting times. But it happened faster than expected. The food was very good, the homemade fries still had a bit of a bite. The price was reasonable and there was a long queue, unfortunately some neighboring restaurants are closed. If a table became free, it was filled again, even shortly before the kitchen closed. All in all a nice evening.

We had dinner here for the first time a few days ago and were absolutely thrilled, both by the wonderful, cozy atmosphere and the super-friendly, fast service, as well as the very tasty food. Absolutely top and therefore clear recommendation! Thanks afterwards to the wonderful team, we will definitely be back!

It's mass processing. The food is ok. But the service is bad. Leftovers from previous guests under the table and on the table. It's a shame, we expected more.

The schnitzels weren't bad, but given the quantities needed, they weren't great either. It was the same with the side dishes (fried potatoes and salad, already a bit brown). There was no way it was Caesar's salad. The long waiting time of 45 minutes (because no table was reserved) wasn't really worth it! But otherwise it's ok.

A great place for schnitzel lovers, everyone will find their favorite schnitzel here! The service was extremely nice and accommodating. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food, but the waitress had a small surprise for us at the end, a very tasty schnapps! Gladly again!

We went to the Schnitzelhus twice during our vacation and it was just great every time! Very nice service staff, super tasty schnitzel and great atmosphere. Dogs are welcome, but it is advisable to reserve in advance, which is possible without any problems.

Great food, nice service, the food came quickly, the partner was happy, the cost was definitely cheap, leftovers and dessert could be packed up and taken with you. Definitely recommendable!

On May 24th, 2024, the two of us had a very tasty meal there. There was schnitzel gratinated and one with asparagus. There was nothing to complain about in terms of food or service - a little more shade outside would be nice, so a nice deduction of a star for the ambience, otherwise full marks. With drinks we came to a moderate €55. Compared to the other restaurants, it's almost a bargain. If we vacation up there again, this will definitely be a favorite!

It's a very bad team, bad service from the shop owners, if I'm not mistaken her name is Kira, disrespectful to customers and a very suspicious appearance, bare hands with scars, I think she is mentally ill.

We were here on a Wednesday in the low season. Based on the reviews, we made a reservation in advance as a precaution, but this turned out to be unnecessary on the day of our visit, as there were still enough free tables available at 8 p.m. in the evening. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty, I've rarely had such good schnitzel... except maybe in Austria 😉 All in all we were very happy with our visit. I think in the high season things look different with space etc. but we'd love to come back here.

Great location, great food at good prices.

A perfect experience when escaping from a bad weather front: we found space at a large table with 6 adults and 6 children (surprisingly!) - and everyone was full and happy. That's the way it has to be!

In the mood for schnitzel? You've definitely come to the right place. We had real Wiener Schnitzel and Schnitzel with spiced meat. So everything is really great. The staff is super friendly, you feel very taken care of and the food is very good. So if you are hungry, it will definitely be satisfied here. Great🥳

Everything is perfect except for one thing: if you want to eat spontaneously, you only have a set time for it. This makes you feel uncomfortable because you are constantly looking at the clock. Otherwise highly recommended. 😉👍

Unfortunately, a lot has changed here after Corona. For the first time in Dierhagen after 4 years, the first question here is, have you made a reservation? Personally, I don't think that's fair to the spontaneous guests and I hope that there will be a change in thinking here. Abroad I noticed the “drama” over the reintroduction of VAT at 19% and the typical German whining. But if you can choose your guests, at the moment, things don't seem to be going too badly.

I could only speak for 4 years ago. Everything was great there! Unfortunately, the information on the internet does not match the actual opening times. Not open on Monday...what a shame! We just checked again because the internet still says open for today!

Food was substandard, schnitzel was far dry, asparagus cream soup without asparagus was more of a thick roux, schnitzel with asparagus didn't order an asparagus spear with a head. In strong sunlight you can hardly sit inside without sunglasses. It's a shame. It used to be a good address. The schnitzel should once again become the flagship of this establishment.

On Whit Monday I was lucky to get a table for 4 people outside. The service was great even though it was packed. Regarding the food, it has to be said that everyone was very satisfied and the fries are a quality in themselves 👍🏻 Then there are prices under €20 😋 Highly recommended ❗️

We were there both at lunchtime and in the evening. In the evening it is advisable to book a table in advance, otherwise you will have to wait. The schnitzels are great. We had the Greek, Dutch, asparagus and Dierhäger versions and loved them all. We enjoyed it very much and were full too. The service is friendly and nice. Absolute recommendation, thumbs up 👍

The service and the ambience were pleasant, but... the food... well, my schnitzel was cold, had the "French Kiss" with Camembert, the cheese was supposed to run when it was hot, but it didn't. The fries weren't warm either, half of them were hard and the other half were very oily. So for the price, absolutely no recommendation!

It was delicious. Well-made veal schnitzel and great service, very attentive even under stress!!!!

We have been here several times, including last year. Last week too, but today it wasn't good anymore! The fries were definitely in the deep fryer several times, the side salad, well! Informed the waiter, no response! What a shame, a nice conversation?

We had pre-booked a table. At 8 p.m. Unfortunately we had to wait longer for our food because there were no staff in the kitchen. But it wasn't bad because everything else was perfect. You just felt comfortable. The food was tasty and plenty. Anyone who is on vacation in Dierhagen should definitely eat there once.

As a Schnitzelhus you can't break out. A schnitzel should be made fresh and not from the deep fryer. Definitely not recommended, shame about the money 💰

We ate at the Schnitzelhaus four times last week. We are glad that the winter break is over. Very good food and fair prices. All the employees are super friendly. For us, it's the only restaurant in the area where people still like to go.

We actually wanted to end a nice day, the food was good, but after a while the gentleman from the service came and said it was unusual to stay seated after eating. In my 50 years, I have never been kicked out of a restaurant. And that at 7 p.m. No recommendation for Dat Schnitzelhus.

A very cozy, clean & child-friendly restaurant. Our food there tasted delicious, was more than enough (I rolled afterwards) and the menu has a good selection of dishes. For children there is a special cart with art supplies, books..., which makes the stay even more relaxing. The staff is also super friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back :)!
